Like, really fast, and as with many trends, it is fueled by folks who do not really understand the trend or it's purpose.

I've observed whole hoards of teenagers, including my own friends, pressurising their parents into buying cameras worth half of their parents' salaries, only to use it digital compact style to capture very high quality pictures of..... their faces.

Hmmmm..

Something is amiss, surely. Will digital compacts not suffice? A friend's response to this was "cause the big camera looks very pro".

when i joined early last year, this site was filled with wonderful and imaginative works of art, but recently i have been seeing more and more accounts filled with foolish poses of weird people, politically offensive art, racists poems which apparently some people on this godforsaken earth find funny.

is this a new flickr?

flickr is a wonderful site with many greats pictures and drawings, but net-users have exploited the enormity of the site to post crazy nonsensical candids.

self-worship at it's best.

and now it's spreading. this curse of ego has found a new, powerful host. the global internet.

a flickr of hope? or the destined doom?

band competition is 17 days from now, and i think my section leader, the horn section leader, is really starting to get the stress.. bad thing, is that the stress is then converted into very very hard work for the entire horn section. and the worst thing is......... i'm in the horn section.

holy crap this is so cool my parents got me this new camera for my birthday which was ystd and it's a canon 400d dlsr cam and i'm so happy cause the pics can finally be of high quality and so yeah i think ima start taking pics right after the charging finishes.

believe me, if i could actually say all that in one breath, i would.

BUT, man it's so hard to operate? i'm like an eighth through the manual.. i mean, i can take photographs by now, but i still don't know the nitty gritty stuff..

you know when i come home from band and pull of my soggy socks, it's like two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT shades of tan.. my foot is like totally white and my shin upwards is sunburnt.. and i'm having alot of trouble reading scores.. having to look to other people for fingerings.. oh well..

btw if you're reading and interested in what i play it's the french horn.. well, that's the instrument i'm supposed to play.. the actual instrument i'm using is a marching f horn for beginners like me..

so anyways band is really torture to the body but music to the ears.. quite literally..

standing at attention is an activity no human being should be doing in a normal state, where your knees are locked in an uncomfortable position, your head is pointing towards the sweltering sun in order for your chin to be facing up, your hands all bunched up in a ball, and worst of all ( for me that is ), for your shoulders to be pulled so damn far back you thought your muscles would tear..

and standing at the same spot for 10 minutes straight means your feet get extremely numb and uncomfortable, but you can't twitch them, for fear of meeting the wrath of mr kumar or vivian, who are the drum instructor and band leader respectively.. whew.. long post.. so bye bye for now..

about the song i'm listening; i like oldies okay! i don't know what people my age have against evergreen songs.. my classmates say i'm weird because i listen to evergreen songs.. i mean.. what the shit is wrong with them.. hmm ok bye bye for real.. haha
