It is probably the most detailed thing I have ever drawn and coloured.

I've been drawing for hours and hours. I have to say, I miss using a gradient background, after trying to perfect the background of this picture for a few days.


Anyway.. Anyone have a good, skin colouring tutorial for me to use? I've used about one hundred tutorials for this picture but I can't find one I like.

Feel free not to read this if you already know

I went to the (+44) concert, which was absolutely amazing! Each of the support bands were awesome, there was like, not a single dull moment of the whole night.

I woke up yesterday morning to the song Orange Crush by REM, which I took as a good sign- they were the first band I saw in concert.

We (Me, Jayden and Keven) waited around for two hours before seeing them, but I barely remember that time now. The rest was too fun.

People got to meet them beforehand! We were so jealous! It was mad! About 15 of us waited around the side where the other guys saw them, and we discovered the door was open, and Keven screamed out, "HEY MARK!" (Mark Hoppus, in case you didnt know)

And then some big black security guard guy came out and yelled at us that we had lost our privilege, and if he saw us around there again, there would be some serious hurt.

So we stayed there.

Hee hee.

AND WE GOT FRONT ROW! FOR THE FOUR HOURS WE WERE THERE!!!! We were on the barrier the WHOLE TIME, it was crazy, we were so close!

They were magic, so were Unwritten Law, Taller than Lions and Juliette and the Licks. But PLUS 44! I love them so.

I had the best night, and afterward, I got two signatures out of four- Gil and Craig. Sadly, I missed Mark (By like, five seconds) we stupidly didnt go to him first. I was like, a metre away.

But! I got my rad tastic shirt, and those two signatures, and had the most awesome night ever.

1. I cant believe some of the stuff we've gone through. All I seem to know from you now is confusion, and a flightyness flapping between an extreme of love or hate. I've always admired you, but I don't know if it is worth trying any more, and some times people just don't want to let go of what is lost. I dont know.

2. You are an amazing friend who I appreciate so much, and I don't know what is happening with you as a person. Sometimes it seems like you aren't even an individual, that you need others to be yourself. I just wish that you would try and see who you are as a person, and see that you are awesome as yourself.

3. You worry me some times with some of the things you say, and it just makes me angry to see that you worry so much about the world and outside influences that you don't bother living life for yourself. I love you, but I want you to be happy with who you are.

4. You make me more angry than anyone, and happier than anyone. Another person I don't know whether to hang onto or not, and whenever I think I can, I just end up holding tighter. You haven't been good for me, as I honestly loved you with all my heart, and when I'm over it, its like you purposely lure me back, and its ruining me.

1. One time I walked into a store (this wasn't very long ago) and I saw a guy who I found kinda attractive. On closer inspection, I discovered it was a mannequin. I have also found my self attracted to cartoons. This is something I try not to talk about often.

2. I have a weird tendency to even out every thing I do. If I hit one arm, I have to hit the other one. This is a very aggravating and sometimes very painful habit. Also recently, as I'm right handed, I've been trying to make my left arm as strong as my right, by making it carry heavier things and the like.

3. Whenever I set my alarm, or use the microwave, I have to put the number to something that doesn't end with an '0' or '5'. Some mornings I wake up at 6:47, or 8:19. It makes me feel like I'm getting more sleep.

4. I exaggerate a lot. I morph stories into a more interesting and pleasing form. Sometimes it means adding in some conversation, sometimes changing to whom the story happened. This may be due to the fact I have such an obsession with making people laugh that I sometimes go overboard.

5. Whenever I see a bird or two on the ground, along the path I’m about to walk, I try to get as far away from them as possible. Not out of fear, just because I don’t want to frighten them and make them fly away.

6. Yellow, I have decided, is the worst flavour in everything. Skittles, M&Ms.. capsicums.. yellow is always crappy. Orange is always a safe bet. Whenever I eat M&Ms, I usually divide them into different colours, eating the most hated colours first, and saving the brown ones until last. I have convinced myself brown is the best flavour and should be savoured.
