T_T My laptop just got raped with viruses, spyware, trojans, you name it. So I ripped as much as I could off of it and restored it to factory default. I was setting it up again, and I tried to put the cd I put my files on in the drive... but it wasn't working. Then as soon as I did a google search I discovered I had that virus where every link you click takes you to some advertisement site. What the fuck? I'm guessing the files on that cd are infected as well...

Which means I've lost everything important I had, including important college work, unfinished artwork (including a commission and an art trade that were almost finished), and several other things I didn't want to lose... T^T

One of those trojan things looked like a keylogger too... please let me know if you see any suspicious activity on any accounts on the websites I go to that you know of.... (just in case)

Is anyone else excited for Star Ocean 4 coming out next month? I'm getting an xbox mainly so I can play it. X3 I can't wait! The main character in this one (Edge Maverick... what a weird name) reminds me a lot of Luther from the third game.... which makes me a bit suspicious... but I think I'm just being paranoid. XD
There better be references and cameos from other tri-ace games, like SO3 had (give me Sphere Company 211 references!).

Anyone have any thoughts on the game?

Okay, back to reality... I've been playing a lot of Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter recently, and finally, after 5 years of owning the game, I have the highest D-Ratio you can get. Now I just gotta get the skills I'm missing.

What do people in other cultures and countries think of aliens?

I've heard plenty of stories and speculations from here in America, but what about in other places in the world? I'm sure you guys have opinions on the subject too. So, I thought I'd come here and ask you guys because I know that some of you can help answer that question.

As you can see, NiH wasn't finished by Halloween.... And I know some of you are wondering why.

Let me put it simply: I was sick for one week, then right after I got better, my medical problem came back.

By that time, I didn't want to do anything. That's why there's kinda of a big gap of time between when I posted page 2 and my newer deviations.

So, here's the deal, I'm not going to stop making NiH just because Halloween is over. But you should also realize that I'm not going to be focusing solely on NiH. I really want to draw my own characters and other things.... but sometimes I feel like I can't because it seems like you guys get pissed off if I draw something besides NiGHTS fanart.

But thanks to those who commented and favorited my recent deviations.

I really appreciate it!

Anyway besides NiH, I'm going to be making a Christmas NiGHTS comic, which I'll start near the end of November. Though, it's not going to be like NiH. It'll be shorter and more cute/sweet than humorous.

(BTW, just a reminder that next kiriban's @ 15,000!!!!)

NiGHTS into Halloween

A halloween-based NiGHTS comic.

Plot? Basically Wizeman has ordered his nightmarens to go around collecting ideya from dreamer around nightopia, who are apparently "scared shitless" because it's Halloween night. >_> Yeah, okay...

The comic follows our favorite maren trio (aka NiGHTS, Reala, and Jackle) as they attempt to steal lots of ideya.

Now, I still need a bunch of fanmaren and dreamers (especially dreamers)... I mean, what would be the point of having a bunch of random characters I made up in it? I'd rather give back to the NiGHTS fandom and have your characters in it.

The dreamers will most likely be the only ones with speaking roles, and the rest will be background or cameo appearances. If you have a character with a speaking role, you'll get to preview that page or pages before they're uploaded to make sure every thing's alright and you're okay with the lines.

Alright, I'm starting a little project for the month of October and I have a favor to ask everyone. Now I don't want to reveal anything about this "project" yet because I want it to be a surprise (don't expect anything too amazing though)... but what I need is permission to draw your fanmaren and NiGHTS fan dreamers/vistors OR original characters. You'll naturally be given full credit for your characters.

Reply on this journal or note me(preferred) with your character's description and picture ref. You can submit as many character's as you want, but that doesn't mean they'll all be used.

So here's what I'm looking for:
Maren:
1.) I need a bunch of them. Please no re-colors. We don't need a bunch of NiGHTS and Reala look alikes running around...

2.) I'm not looking for goody-goody "Oh I'm like NiGHTS because I rebelled against Wizeman! Teehee, And Omg Reala/NiGHTS/Jackle's like so kawaii and he's my boyfriend DESU"-maren.

There's only a 1/1000 chance that a maren would oppose Wizeman, and that's NiGHTS.

3.) If you want to make a brand new maren for this project, go right ahead (but I'm sure you won't until you know what it is)

Dreamers:
1.) No marenXdreamer relationships please. If your dreamer is involved in a relationship with one of the canon maren, just leave that part out. >_>

2.) I'll need a more detailed description about the dreamers than the maren.

3.) If you happen to have a dreamer that is closely connected with one of your fanmaren, but not necessarily in a relationship, please sumbit those!

Other fan/ original character:

1.) Don't have NiGHTS related fan character and still want to participate? You can submit fan characters from other series or your original characters. But they must be completely human and from the modern era. I don't want your Naruto or Sonic fan chara.

I'm sure some of you are probably like, "What?! I don't want to let you draw my characters if I don't know what you're doing with them!!!" That's okay... you'll find out what this is all about by October 1st.

My first college class is tomorrow and I'm scared!

But I only have two classes tomorrow, 3 on tuesday, 1 on wednesday, 3 on thursday, and 1 on friday(and that get's over at 9:50am so I have the rest of the day free to start the weekend ~<3)

On the days I have to stay at the college from 7am to 4pm (only for two classes) I'll have plenty of time to do my homework and draw. Maybe I'll even bring my gba >D ...(I'd have to get a new game for that since all the games I have are either boring, or I've beaten already... any suggestions? I'd like a roleplaying game or maybe even a Sonic game)

Speaking of new games, I just got one today... Anyone ever play Dragon Quest VIII? I haven't gotten very far yet (NO SPOILERS!!!! I'd like to actually play a game for once that I don't know anything about). So far, I've only been to the waterfall to get the crystal ball... I don't have time to play it anymore tonight.. maybe I'll get back to playing it before my night class tomorrow.

I love seeing new "official" bof artwork (especially of Ryu and Fou-lu).

>:3 I've known about this for a while but now I HAVE to spread the news because I know most of my watchers probably have never even heard of Breath of Fire. It's an amazing rpg series, the manga is following the storyline of the fourth game... not exactly my favorite, but it's probably the best choice for a manga adaptation, since it seems to be one of the more popular bof games.

Now for anyone that's interested, if you're looking for a new game to play, Breath of Fire isn't that hard to get into...and I would be glad to tell you about it... The more people interested, the better chance there is for a sixth game (which is possible...it's apparently being considered by Camelot). :3

As for the manga, I really wish they would bring this overseas... It could actually help revive interest in BoF!

W00t! I'm feeling completely better now

But anyway... The end of Avatar is tomorrow. It gives me chills thinking about how it'll all end in a little over 24 hours.

Last night's zutara episode was amazing, I couldn't ask for anything more from their relationship. I'm glad Katara's not angry at Zuko anymore and I loved the part where he was talking to Sokka about her.

Zuko: "You sister; She hates me and I don't know why! But I do care what she thinks of me..."
Aww.

For some reason it seems like Zuko does like Katara a bit (based on his actions and some of the things he's said). Maybe not, it just seemed like it to me.

But then again he's still going to go back to his Man-girlfriend Mai, and Katara gets to make-out with a little bald kid.

Where's the fun in that?
