So excited and nervous at the same time. I'm moving in to my dorm this Thursday!
Prayer and such things would be greatly appreciated. As one can imagine I'm having great fluctuations in the confidence in my abilities. I haven't drawn traditionally since I worked on my portfolio. I haven't drawn amongst other people that are SO VERY much better than me (look I like grammar!) for a while. So delving back in to that in itself will be intimidating and a challenge.
I'm constantly having to remember God will take care of me, that I can't do it at all by myself, and it will all work out in His planning. Just do my best and let god do the 99.9% of the rest. />o<\~!!!

I got sick enough my last semester of senior year that I was kicked out but got to do school at home through my school so I could finish a half year and still get to walk with my class at graduation. *breaaath* I'm done with the Bible course and almost done with Government but very behind in British Literature cause the tests are INTENSE but I think I'll be done with everything by July 16 or 17th.

*breaaathh* Sunday was my graduation and it was so wonderful someone donated each of us a FREE FREAKING PRINTER and the speeches some of our students made were wonderful. The next day I took my first belly-dancing class, sweated buckets, discovered muscles I never knew I had, and almost passed out cause I forgot you need to BREATH while you try to focus doing complicated and vigorous movements.

*breaAATHH* Tuesday and today I've worked my butt off on homework but I've also gotten some breathing time. Tomorrow I'm going to CCAD's orientation that starts at 9 and lasts all day. I HAVE to stay over night *argh* and then continue the orientation until the afternoon that next day. THEN I get to go to one of my Saturday Morning Art Classes official banquet type thing. And oh yeah, that's Friday, which means I AM COMPLETELY OCCUPIED ON MY BIRTHDAY. *sigh* Don't even know what's goin down as far as celebrations.

*BREAAATTTHHH* The next day is preparing for and being a host at my graduation party that lasts from 1 to 5 and then going to a friend's that lasts from 5 to 8. Then at Sunday we're heading up to my grandparents and then up to Michigan to spend a week there with no internet access and lack of air conditioning.

*pass out*


Oh yeah, and I start college at the end of August.

All well! My wisdom teeth are gone now! And no, I didn't get to keep them or even see them. TOT

Got them out two days ago and as I woke up from the anesthesia my mouth wasn't numb at all. It was EXCRUCIATING all day. Gauzes in mouth to stop the bleeding, having to eat something at the same time in order to take the pain meds, the pain meds making me nauseous and dizzy. No fun. D;
It was better the next day as the medication worked better but I still had a splitting head ache and was nauseous when I stood up.

Today! I'm off the big pain medication and I'm on normal advil, and feeling alooot better. The disolvable stitches (awesome!) still bug me/hurt a little. I think they're directly the things that are swelling towards my teeth so it's hard to not bite them by accident;;;
Oh yeah, my face is definitely puffy n tender. XD


Well that's about it for the standard wisdom teeth update. Anesthesia was very relaxing even though it hurt a bit more than I expected with putting it in the veins. I was goin out even before they said I would, and I remember asking them after wards if I could see my teeth. The lady just said 'aw I'm sorry they're already gone'.

But first, I have officially been awarded $32,000 of scholarship money from CCAD's portfolio competition!!! *GLEE* That expounds to be $8,000 per year out of the $24,000! (At least in tuition, not counting books and dorm and etc). I also got a grant, along with some financial aid loans. (GAH I hate looanns). BUT I'M SO EXCITED!!

Now to find some other scholarships. u.u~


Second! I get to have my wisdom teeth removed next week over spring break! ALL FIVE OF THEM. D8?! That's right, I have an EXTRA wisdom tooth on the upper right side of my mouth. WOOHOO. Of course they charge you for that too. PSH. I asked if I could have them after the surgery but they said something about "hazardous material". PSHHH~

That's about it...super busy! Can't wait for spring break.

[link] - Still don't think tracing is too much of an art. The only form of tracing I support is when you're trying to improve yourself. *did it myself in the youngen' days D8* I feel if you keep doing it, it sorta becomes detrimental.

I don't think much of the tracing going on, being submitted on DA, is being claimed as just 'tracing practice'.;;;

Finally finished reading that book. So I'll make this rant short.
I was mildly entertained as expected. I am a romantic after all. The writing wasn't bad or wonderfully good. A good book to read whilst sick.
(I actually kinda liked the 'sparkly vampire' thing...*RUNS*)

But it was kind of a big cliche, having read plenty vampire things in my lovely past. It was predictable. The love was...shallow to me. I couldn't pin down Edwards personality. Bella's character seemed to be trying to hard to be normal but unique at the same time. (Which I'm pretty sure why it appeals so much to our younger masses, plus the forbidden/dark love it offers) I wanted more story about the vampire society and such political things...heck I wanted more of an actual plot. (But I realized it's more of a romance story so I let that want fly out the window)

*shrug* And it isn't exactly a book I think younger minds should be reading. Not exactly the greatest example of healthy relationships. (Like 99% of our entertainment). And vampires in and of themselves can be a questionable or risky or w/e subject I guess.

But again, a good book to read while sick. XD;

Sick~ Sick! SicksicksicksiiickkkSICK! FRICKEN SICK!

AGAIN!

Didn't get sick all summer.

But it's school now, so of course I have to get SICK now! Got SICK constantly last year. So why not start out the year 'strong'! Already missed about five days of school. How many SICK days am I aloud per semester? Oh right. TEN!

It's been what, about five weeks of school so far? I have TOO MUCH TO DO already! Lord. I'm getting so SICK (hahHAH) of my body doing this.

I have tons school work yes. But I NEED to DRAW! Portfolio! And in college I'm gonna need to suck all of this up anyway and still go to class!!! If I can't draw when I'm feeling crappy...*headdeask* Hate hate hate my body, my low pain tolerance, senior-year work load. GRRRRRrrrr~!

This is the last time! LAST time I miss school darnit! I shoulda gone today anyway, I could have ran to the bathroom if I got too nauseous.

In other news, I finally got Final Fantasy 12 and I LURV IT!

Though I'm dissapointed that Vaan turned out to be such a girly wimp (even though he's my main "tank" in battles) and that the story seems to lack depth with each character. Otherwise it's an awesome game~ The battle system and Balthier are lurrv X3 And Fran is awesome regardless of her scantily cladiness. (Have you not heard her accent?! It's so cool! XD) And if anyone reading this has played it and is near the end, did the game seem short to you?? @.@

When I got to the Island of Pharos (which I'm still at leveling up and doing side quests.) I was shocked to figure out I was almost done.

AND DUH HE WAS MORE EMOTIONAL he was completely in the dark about where Riku was after he closed the door, he knew where kairi was all the time and knew she was safe for half of the game, he saw riku in his black coat and that was suggesting that he could have betrayed sora again like in the last game, oh and he had never really got to talk to Riku after he beat the crap out of him in the last game too. =__=

And I wont even get started on the ending scene,

After the end its obvious they have the hots for eachother - *SPOILER* not really...they finally have a friend to friend conversation after a year and probably some months after all this has happened. I just dont see anything that suggests that at all..just friendship.

Okay I bought it on the 28th when it came out an finished it today (friday of the same week) and played it all I could when mom didn't force me out of the house. Oh and if you have played the first one..well...BUY this one! you'll love it :] unless of course you hated the last one oh and one thing I loath about this game, and I'm sure most people will, is the ENTIRE ATLANTICA WORLD PROCESS....its just so painful...@.< to your eyes and ears >_> okay I'm done rambling

oh and I havent goten ANYTHING art related done at all so still no updates for a bit. I'll have to get myself back into the swing of things and start feeling like drawing again XD since mostly all my emotions and feelings have been focussed on KH @.@ ...not safe when you think about it XD I would only move to eat or other necessary bodily functions
