So, my family has decided to get in touch with our nomadic roots and we have decied to "depart into the wildernes."

That's right, peeps! My family is moving. My dad got a job in Salt Lake City, Utah. My dad will be starting work with his new employers on January 19th, and so mom is going to stay here and try to get the house sold. We have a lot of things to do.

Origionally, we were just going to replace the linolium in the kitchen, but as it turns out we're going to be redoing the entire kitchen, which includes a new counter top and cabinates. We also need to redo the roof, and we're waiting for one of our friends to come back with the estimate. So needless to say, we're going to have a small Christmas. My sister and I are going to be getting just the essentials for College. Especially me since I will most likely be moving up to Utah with Dad in January. This means I now need to decide which books I will be taking with me, and I need to start getting rid of little knick-knacks that I really don't need. Most of this I've already done, but it wouldn't hurt to go through more of it, right?

Also, I have heaps of drawings on Newsprint that I should upload onto here. I still need to call Dennis Tannen and see if he can help me with photographing my portfolio for USU.

In other news, I went and saw "A Christmas Carol" at the Glendale Center Theater. It was amazing! If any of you live in the LA area, you should deffinately plan on seeing it next year. I believe the show last night was the last one for this season. Deffinately a top-knotch group of actors. It's hard when you have no solid set and the audience is sitting all around you, but these people are amazing!

On Thrusday, November 5th, I recieved my acceptance letter for Utah State University.

I shall be moving to Utah this December.

In other news, I finally watched V for Vendetta, and I must say that it is an amazing film. I need to get a copy of the graphic novel. What prompted me to watch it? Well... I guess for multiple reasons. 1) We are studying Dystopia's in my English class, and I guess you could say that this was a bit of a dystopia. 2) Thursday was Guy Fawkes day. 3) My boyfriend can recite most of the "V Speach", and I wanted to hear it... And so I looked up the speach, and I wasn't satisfied with just watching that part of the film, so I looked up the rest on Youtube.

And in more news, I shall start reading Slaughterhouse-Five within the next two weeks.

I'll probably use the software they have. They have Rosetta Stone, and that would help, along with another program called "Tell me more" where you practice speaking the language. That one is cool. The computer will ask you conversational questions, and you answer back. If you don't say something correctly, it says that it didn't understand you, and you get to repeat yourself... lol It asked the LLC worker what her name is, and she answered "Je m'appelle Lisa, et toi?" and it answered back "Je suis un ordinateur" HAHA!

Well, I thought it was funny....

We've finally gotten out German exchange students last Saturday, and it has been a blasty-blast.

We took the girls to the mall and they are much different shoppers than me. I usually spend a few minutes to an hour in each shop I go into, just looking around. They'll walk in for a few seconds, then walk out if they don't see anything that immediately catches their eye. Hahaha. But that's fine.

So we have four girls in our house. We were origionally going to have just two, but their group coordinator came to us the day after we got home from Utah and asked if we would be willing to take one or two more girls. So in addition to Amelie and Verena, we now have Lisa and Lena. And it's kind of funny, Lena was one of the girls we origionally chose to have say with us, and I remember looking at Lisa's papers, too. Now we have out top four girls out of all of the ones we looked at. They're really nice girls, very polite, and deffinatly fun to be around. Amilie found one of my sketchbooks and has asked me to draw her some time, so there's something to do.

Okay, so I'm done with my short vacation in Logan. We started driving home yesterday, and decided to spend the night in St. George (which is basically the half-way point in our journey), then continued on this morning after the free breakfast at the hotel. Horray for free food!

The trip itself was pretty uneventful, but completely relaxing. Logan is probably one of the most beautiful places I've been too. Lots of old-style homes, green fields, and the Utah State University campus is HUGE! I was able to get a tour of it with a group of other prospective students, and I learned how to become a True Blue Aggie. There's a small "A" platform right outside the Old Main building (it's four "A"'s put together with a flat table-top). At Homecomming, and Home Games, two "non-Aggies" can kiss on that platform, and they will then recieve a thing of chapstick and a card that says they are "True Blue Aggies." Another way to do it is if a TBA and a NA kiss on that platform durring a full moon. Then, the NA becomes a TBA. LOL, I'll have to make some friends with some guys there who are TBA's... there is no way I'm kissing a total stranger to become one. Either that, or I'll have to get one of my good guy-friends to drive up to USU on Homecomming. Haha!!

So yeah, I was drawing a fair bit of the time... but it was mostly just working on 2 or three pictures. I will update with those, soon. I'm working on coloring one right now.

And now for the Meme that I "stole" from Iron-Gibbet. Fill it out if you want, I'm not going to tagg anyone.

ONE - Spell your name without vowels: nfrk
TWO - Are you single?: Does that really matter? I used to work at Nordstroms and Juice It Up... right now I am jobless and looking for a job. Darn you, Anoop.
THIRTEEN - Who is your best friend?: I really don't like the term "Best Friend." I like to think that ALL of my friends are my Best Friends.
FOURTEEN - Where do you go to school?: Right now I am attending Mt.
1. Hi! What's your real name and nickname?
Oh, me? My name is Edme... and just forget about my last name. You don't need to know that. As for nicknames, well Lucio likes to call me Ed.

2. Interesting... what's your current age?
I'm a 22-year-old college student.

3. Uh huh.. What's your favourite food?
Food? What is this food that you speak of? Being a college student, you don't have enough money to live off of anything but Ramen or cereal. But when I am able to eat out, I love getting Thai.

4. And your favourite drink?
I mostly drink water. If I had to choose something else, I'd say Dr. Pepper with a little bit of orange soda.

5. Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
*laughs* Oh, wow! That question, huh? Well, I do love my roomate... a lot. *blush* He knows who he is, and he better fill out. *points her finger at him*

6. Aww! Have you two kissed yet?
*blushes* Many times. He is a very good kisser.

7. Classic question! What's your favourite colour?
*shrug* I don't really have a favorite. A better question would be which color is my least favorite -- and that would be pink.

8.Who's your favourite author?
OH! That one is tough. Umm... Elizabeth Gaskell is very good.

9. Now what's your biggest fear?
Probably that something really really bad would happen to Lucio. I honestly don't want to think about what my life would be like without him in it.

10. Any siblings?
Only Child... but I do have a cousin who is more like an older brother to me than an older cousin...Very much like an older brother.

11. Almost, it's only twenty questions. Who's your hero?
Hm... Captain America. Hahah!! But seriously, my hero would have to be Martin Luther King, Jr. He did so much in the civil rights movements, and they all managed to be focused on civil disobedience rather than acts of violence, which is deffinately the best way to protest against something.

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?
I don't really have one.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
So, if MLK,Jr. and no one got together? Wow... I think I'd go keep him company... that is if he doesn't smell like rotting flesh. I don't think that you would smell to great after being dead for a few years.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
Go out to lunch, ask what prompted her to create me... Then be on my way.

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Well, I am an English major. Probably work as a professor, or be an author or something.

16. What's your worst nightmare?
Same as my greatest fear.

17. What's your lifelong dream?
To... I dunno. Wow... talk about the unexamed life. Haha! I'll get back to you on that.

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?
Well, one would have to know what their life long dream was inorder to answer this question, so once again, I'll get back to you on that.

19. Ok, where's your favourite place to relax?
Lucio's bed. *nod*

20. Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?
I R College student. I am usually having my head filled with some useless info from my Gen. Eds, and a few usefull bits from my classes that go along with my major.

Okay, so I was looking for an old clip on Youtube from the stage play of PotO, and I found this: [link]

OMG. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE! Too bad there isn't any recordings of the actual ballet on Youtube!! This looked amazing, even if this is just the dancers practicing.

----
My dear friend has featured three of my Deviations on her journal, and ask that I do the same with her, and 15 other deviants. The first 15 people to respond to this journal will be spotlighted! If the 15 spots are not filled, I'll choose art from other Deviants to fill the spolight spots.

First off is the oh so Lovely
"4 portraits of Erik"
[link] I really enjoy the portrait of Erik in the upper right hand corner of this picture. She described that one as being a Charles Dance-esque Erik, and she did a very good job. The Leroux Erik in the lower right is very beautifully done, too.
"Sad Eyes"
[link] You deffinately get a feeling of sorry from his expression in this pic. That, and I like his hair. Haha!
"Michael Crawford signing"
[link] Of course we can't spotlight Ripper without adding some Michael Crawford into the mix! I love the simplistic detail in this picture.

--

"spring life drawing 5"
[link] Oh Elisa, you knew it was coming! One of Elisa's hidden pervy moments during our Gesture/Figure class this spring worked it's way onto that day's news print. I'm not just spotlighting this one because of that, tho. Elisa really has a way with representing fold in clothing without adding a bazillion lines. There is a certain elegance with every drawing I've seen her do this semester, even with her unfinished sketches.
"she's more of a magazin girl"
[link] Anyone who has ever worked with stipple knows what a pain it can be. This is an absolutely beautiful stipple piece! So much detail!
"not so secret"
[link] Went back and looked through a few of her older pieces, and I must say that this little ditty was pretty darn cute. We need more Edward Scissorhands Love.

--

"Daisy Chain"
[link] This is a beautiful piece of jewlery made entirely of small metal loops.
"Dreamcatcher Earrings"
[link] Very beautifully done. I love the purple tones of the glass beads in these earings.
<img src="http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/bulletblue.gif" width="10"...

Hey, y'all! So, are any of you having trouble drawing bodies? Wish you had more than just photographs to draw bodies from? I think I might have a solution.

A friend of mine in my gesture & figure class suggested a site for me to use to fill up my sketchbook with more drawings. It's called Posemaniacs.com. All the models are computer generated, and they come in a variety of poses, all of which you can rotate to see from other angles.

Uncomfortable with nudes? Well, technically, you can't see any skin on these models. Why? The skin has been removed. Yep, removed. It's all muscles and tendons, and a little fat (if you're using a female model).

It has a setting for practicing getting the gesture of a pose, too. You can set the timer for 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, or 90 seconds. Pretty nifty! If you need it longer, but would still like to keep it random, they have a random pose button, where the pose is up for an unlimited time, incase you want to study the musculature!

Just thought I'd share that with you

Well, it looks like I will not be attending Mt.SAC in the fall. Majorly bummed since I was really looking forward to taking that silk-screening class with Dirk.

Major reason why I'm not going there: Drama at the Institute. I should've transfered out when I heard Amanda was comming to the Institute last fall.

Our friends will usually plan summer activities (beach parties, midnight movie premers, general fun) and my first two semesters, I knew about what was happening, when it was going on, and where to be. But lately, no one has been telling anything, and I think it's all Amanda's doing. She's one of those girls who, if she doesn't like you, she will manipulate everyone around her to make sure that you are never included in activities. And it really sucks. She's already manipulated all of the friends I had made before she came along. It's gotten to a point where I don't feel like I'm wanted in a conversation that's happening around me with Nick Valdez, Dennise, Erin, or Cody.

One good example was this last Tuesday night after our evening class at Institute. I stayed after for a bit, then I got a ride home with my Dad. Apparently everyone decided before institute that they were going to go to Red Robbin, and left without me. At first I thought that Dennise and Charlie had just gone home right after. The next morning, I'm sitting with everyone, relaxing, and Amanda, Dennise, and a few other friends came out with to-go boxes with left-overs from last night. I asked when they had gone, and they said "After Institute." Yeah, bit of a downer. Then witchy Amanda has to rub it in that Red Robbin has the best hamburgers and fries, and how much fun they had that night.

Also, it's getting harder and harder to tell Frank that I don't want to date him, or marry him. He's not going anywhere career wise, and we had gotten to a point before our breakup last spring where we can't just go back to being friends. I don't wan't to hurt his feelings, but apparently he's not getting it. He's asked me what his options are in regards to dating, and I've said that I want to date other people right now. I wan't to put myself out there so other young men see that I am available. That, and I am interested in a few other boys, and I want to date them.

Well, I have to help with dinner now. Talk to you all later.

Probably one of the worst feelings anyone could have.

Solomon calls me at 8:30pm last night right after I had fallen asleep (yes, I go to bed that early, some times.) and asks me out for a date the following day. I say yes, and he asks me to call him after my class lets out.

So I did. He said he was tired and was going to take a nap. I offered to just go home, and that would give him 1 1/2- 2 hours of sleep... I thought he said that he could just pick me up from school, and that he would call me. So I wait around school for 3 1/2 hours, then call him asking if the date was still on. He says he's too tired.

Very disapointing. I cried. Haven't seen him face-to-face in a long time, got excited about this time, and then it's just blown up in my face.

So I send him an email saying that I was upset that it took 3 1/2 hours before he canceled the date, when he could've canceled when I called him after my class.

He later calls me, to say that he's sorry, and starts of by asking why I was waiting at the school for 3 1/2 hours. I said that I thought he said that he would pick me up there, and that was my mistake for not hearing him correctly. He then said that I said that I would call when I got home. I said, "No, you said that you would call me when you were done." He then apologized for that, and said that he'd make it up to me later.

This is the second time he's canceled a date at the last minute. First one was one I had aranged, and he called the hour we were supposed to leave for it to cancel. He said basically the same thing last time, too. So right now, I'm kind of doubting that he's going to "make it up" to me. Might sound shallow, but this is how I am feeling -- I'm getting to psyched for these dates, and then at the last minute I am denied that happiness. I'm not asking for huge expensive dinner dates or anything like that. Just simple ones like a walk in the park or just sitting down somewhere and talking. Dates where we can get to know eachother without spending a lot of money.

The last date I went on with him (over a month ago) was cut short because some of his buddies called and asked him if he wanted to go play D&D with them. So he decides to just take me home so he can go off with them. He had said before that he really cares about me and that he's grown attatched to me, but lately his actions have been saying differently.

I kind of wish that some of the guys I hung out would ask me out. And I hate the idea of me having to ask a guy. It's so backwards to me. I was even uncomfortable asking guys to dance at out Saturday Night youth dances. Call me old fashioned, but I think it's the most amazing feeling to have a guy show enough interest in you to actally work up the courage to ask you out.

Well, end of my sob-story. I have a headache from crying, so I'm going to get in the shower and go to bed. Hopefully he won't call again tonight.

Probably one of the biggest stories on the News right now -- the woman who just had octuplets.

There are questions going around about if she is a responsible parent or not. She already has six young children at home, she's living with her parents, and she's in the middle of recieveing her Masters.

The media says that she has stated that she wanted a large family to "compensate for the isolation she felt from being an only child in a 'disfunctional' family."

She has even stated in interviews that she has chosen to be a single parent.

Now, what to do you all think of the situation? I know that there are some mothers out there who are reading this, and I would appreciate your opinion as well.

I think that this mother is a bit irresponsible. This doesn't mean I don't think she really loves her kids, though. She tries to spend atleast 45 minutes holding each of her newborns. But I do not think that this is really a healthy enviroment to raise her children. Especially when you have so many young children who will now have to fight for attention from their mother. I can't see any way a person can jugle school, a job, and 14 kids without help from a partner. Yes, she does have her parents to help with the kids, but to me, it sounds a lot like my friend from high school who had already had four kids by the time she was sixteen. The child the court did allow her to keep was being raised by her mother.

I think fertility treatments are a grand thing. They've helped people who are close to me have children, but usually they're only able to have one or two. If they want more kids, they turn to adoption agencies and expand their family that way. I know that this is something that I would deffinately do if I am unable to have children of my own. There are so many children in the world who do not have loving families. It's unfair to them to not even consider the option of adoption.

Interesting.

lol, so now for why I am nervous. My friend (now boyfriend)Solomon wants me to meet his parents on Friday.

lol, one of my friend's keeps saying the same thing each time his name comes up. "Danae! You are going to be engaged by the end of this year!" However much I would like for that to actually happen, the thought of it just maked me so nervous! I'm not done with school yet, I want to transfer to USU, I have no job right now, I have some idea of what I would like to do, but nothing solid. I thought I wanted to be a teacher, but looking at how things are going in regard to art in high school and colleges, I'm going to have one tough time finding a job in that field. SO I think that what I could do is take up Photography, intern with a guy from my church who has his own Photograpy buisness, and just work my way up from there. I like Photography.

So, yeah. Really really like Solomon, I think he likes me (he liked me enough to ask me to be his girlfriend after a few weeks of regular dating), and I could see myself being happy with him. Just... I dunno. I think I'm turning into a Nervous-Nelly. There are so many things that have changed drastically in the last five years, to really make me worry about my future. Right now, the US is very close to falling back into a depression. Do you realize that the last time the US was really in a "gilded age" was back in the 1960s? Yeah, 40 years ago.

The War in Iraq is a part of the reason why our economy is in the state it's in right now, but it's not the main reason. Dependancy on forign oil is one. There are plenty of places in California and Texas and Alaska that are a major source of oil for the US, but we only really end up using oil imported from the middle east.

I just hope that within... I dunno, 10 years maybe... I hope that our economy gets back to a stable point.

(I know I got off on a tangent kinda... but I guess that's what I guess from writing after an literary analysis class, haha.)

So I just found out that BY LAW if a student is unable to read a book in an English class for moral or religious reasons, the professor has to find a new book for them.

I didn't bring this up with Professor Null. I know that if I do, he'll probably get pissy with me and fail me outright. Instead, I recomended two books that I could write a good enough essay on with the prompts he gave us to choose from.

1984 by George Orwell, and The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

In the letter I recieved back from Mr. Null, he basically stated that he wanted me to read this book inorder to get me to write outside of my comfort zone. And that it was my fault for choosing this class knowing what kinds of books he chose for the class to read. He then went on to complain about how if he tailored each lesson to fit the morals of the students, that would be more work for him, and that I wasn't the only person moraly opposed to reading a book like this.

So basically when he said "I'll try to find a book for you to read," he was just saying that to apease me and still get me to read Revolt of the Cockroach People anyway.

After this semester, I am going to his Department Head and complaing about this issue. That way he has no power over my grade, because I'll have already recieved it.

You would think that if there is more than one person in a class who is morally opposed to reading pornographic literature, that the teacher would find one book that both of those students could read. Or if a sudent goes out of their way to find book that would follow the same criteria as another book, that they would be allowed to read that book.

One thing is for sure. If I was at BYU, I would NEVER be forced to read a book like this.

My professor has assigned a book for us to read entitled Revolt of the Cockroach People by Oscar Zeta Acosta. My two main issues with this book are that there are a few scenes where the main character has sex with a minor, and there are very graphic drug abuse scenes. Both of those are things I would rather not read, morally.

When I confronted the professor about this, and asked "Do you want me to read something by a classic author? Austen, Dickens, Bronte, Gaskell?" His response to my suggestion was "No, those are way too boring."

I had this professor for the previous level of English before this semester. In that class we had to read Like Water for Chocolate. I read it, but I had some serious guilt after reading the sex scenes in one of the chapters, and so I resorted to reading the chapter summaries on Sparknotes. Later I confronted this professor about the book, and he said "Well, you're just going to have to stick to it. Sorry."

In other news, the ex who came home from his mission had a talk with me yesterday. So now I've found of more things abour our relationship that I would've rather not have known.

Apparently, that was the first relationship I was ever in where I was basically used. Every other relationship ended because 1) both of us kind of saw that things weren't going to work because it was just too awkward. OR 2) He cheated.

Wow, yeah. My self esteme went right down the toilet there. And what's worse, he had told one of our friends about how he actually felt about me, and she decided not to tell me. She said that it wasn't her place to tell me. -.-

Right now I don't even think I want to be friends with the guy. Most of my ex's have either remained friends, or have just become aquaintances.

So yeah. Frank is a total rake.

Well, a new semester has started at Mt. SAC and so far things are looking to be okay. I have my first paper due on the 15th (my birthday) for Art History, and it includes a visit to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (or LACMA for short.)

One thing I am a bit bugged about that is, the Norton Simon musem is just in Passadena and that's much closer and easier to get to than LACMA. And it's free at any time of the day. LACMA has that "pay what you want" policy that goes into effect after 5:00 pm. So, I'll basically be sitting in trafic to get there around five so I can look at one or two Early Ren. paintings, then write a three page report on them.

Last time I went to LACMA was for my 18th birthday, so that's almost two years ago. I liked it a lot... as long as I was away from my mother trying to explain what different paintings meant to my youngest sister. But then I got in trouble for wandering off to look at the Greco-Roman art galleries without mom. Hey, I wanted to admire the art in a quiet atmosphere.

So I get to go back and visit priceless works of art again before my birthday. I would LOVE to go with just Solomon or someone, but he'll probably be working that day, and I doubt he would want to drive me all the way out to West LA to visit a museum.

I found out what my only birthday present from mom is going to be this year, and I am happy about it. It's going to be driving lessons! YAY! Oh I am so happy. I'll have regular instruction periods, instead of just learning when my parents had time to teach me.

Getting my license will deffinately give me some freedome. I won't have to rely on a buss or my friends to get me from point A to point B, I don't have to worry about waiting outside in the dark after class for my dad to come and pick me up. I could leave for school at the time I needed to. So many things, to look forward to.

But I will be getting a job to help pay insurance. I am working on maintaining B or better grades in College, so that will give us some discount. Being a girl automatically lowers the cost (apparently girls are supposed to be better drivers... Weird.) OH! gril driver story! I was carpooling to school (this was before I decided to ride the bus every day to school) and the girl I was riding with, Allison, was probably the craziest driver I have ever seen. She was going about 90 mph on the freeway at around 7:30 in the morning, and would be applying mascara and eyeliner as she drove. I think I might've dented the side of the seats if they weren't so soft.

Or Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanza, or whatever you celebrate at this time of year.

Not in too much of a festive mood. I was going to spend the afternoon at my friend's house and watch The Village, but mom wanted me to have dinner with the family, so that trip was canceled. She made dinner so early today that it was more like a late lunch. *sigh*

I was seriously looking forward to hanging out with Solomon tonight, too.

In other news, my ex boyfriend has come home early from his mission due to problems he had morally prior to leaving for the MTC. Figures, as soon as I get over him he jumps back into the picture in a very dramatic way. No, I'm not happy with him. His Stake President even suggested that he wait a year before leaving to earn enough money for his mission and prepare himself for the mission, and Frank just ignored that counsel and went anyway. -.-

So I've just been praying that he doesn't email me. I've already taken him off my IM contacts.

I probably wouldn't have known that he's come hom if I hadn't given my email to his mother or kept in real contact with her. Oh well. I just hope that he has the chance to actually head back out to the mission after straightening things out with his stake president here. But I think that the letter I sent him two weeks ago is going to be the last one he gets from me for a long time. That is if the people in the mission home forward it to him.

I just hope that he doesn't end up like my friend John. He got sent home after three weeks because of morality issues, and then ran off with his girlfriend and is now getting married to her friend in Vegas.

Another reason why I think I'm not too excited for tomorrow is that I know almost every gift I'm getting. No I didn't peek. I picked them out myself. Mom was tired ot choosing things that I ended up wearing once and then giving them away to charity because they didn't fit me properly. (She tends to buy very square shaped shirts that make me look fat. Not a pleasant thing).

Right now I do wish that I had my license. I would be driving out to Riverside right now and hanging out with Solomon, and watching The Villiage. I wouldn't have to worry about getting a ride there or back home, and I could leave when I wanted instead of having to leave because my ride was there. Problem is, I'm not in any driving classes and my dad has given me just one lession. That was four months ago. I don't want mom to teach me because she'll just end up making fun of me and laughing at my nervous driving the whole time. Dad is more patient, and doesn't make fun at something others are trying to do. Mom does. And I just absolutely hate it.

How pathetic is this. 22 more days and I'll be 20 and I won't even have a license. I'm still living at home, going to a community college, and taking the bus.

That's it. My New Year's Resolution is to get my damn drivers lisence.

So, yeah. Kinda disapointed that the only things that are getting any attention are my Fanart pieces.

If you're watching me soley for those pieces, please take me off your watch list. I don't have enough time for that anymore now that I am working towards my BA and MA.

I'm probably not going to continue my Susan Kay 100 Themes. I've kind of lost my love for it.

I sill love Phantom, don't get me wrong. But Erik no longer occupies my mind 24/7. Infact, he usually only visits my mind once in a long while... this is probably due to the fact that I have some actual friends now (Awwr, Inu is no longer a loner).

"All children must grow up."

I guess Erik was more of a person I connected to because we were both kind of social outcasts: Him because of his face, me because of... I don't even know why -- I just didn't fit in anywhere. I'm a square peg.

So yeah.. long story short, you're not going to see very much Phantom art anymore and you will be seing more origional pieces from my classes and my sketchbook.

Thanks for the memories.
-Inu

I'm going to be steadily uploading all the work I've been doing in my art class this semsester. I've already uploaded five (the three black and white drawings, and two still lifes today)

I've noticed that I've actually improved some what on my shadding and actual visual drawing. Not much, but there is some improvement.

So, if you don't mind, could I get some good critiques from you all? Especially people who are Art majors. I'm not looking for comments like "Oh! That looks good!" and that's it. I'm looking for things like "This looks pretty good. Your shadding is a bit lacking, maybe if you make [x] darker around the coners..." Real constructive critisism. Praise is good, but it doesn't help me fix thing I am trying to improve.

So yeah.. Help please? Thanks in advance!! Oh! And the best critiques I get will get a cookie. Not that is a real reward, but just thougt it might entice you a little!

I might make a few enemies with this, but what the hell.

There is a proposition that will be voted on this upcoming election in California that pertains to Same-Sex marriage. Califronians know this as Prop. 8.

Massachusets and Conneticut have already allowed same-sex marriage in those states. This is not the part that worries me. The part that DOES is that teachers in those states are now mandaited to teach about same-sex marriage and how it is "okay" for boys to marry boys and girls to marry girls, and the parents aren't allowed to have any say in this matter. There was recently a situation where a little boy came home with a "diversity bag" full of age-appropriate things on gay marriage. The parents were shocked, and the father went to the principal and asked if they could atleast be notified when the teachers were going to teach their children about this. The principal said "No, you have no right to know what we teach your kids." The father was latter arrested because he refused to leave the school untill they came to some agreement.

Was that fair?

If Proposition 8 is not passed in California, teachers will be mandaited to teach this to their students and the parents will have absoutely no say in the matter. (Don't say "just home-school your kids then" California won't allow anyone to homeschool their kids anymore because one person abused this privilage.)

Personally, I have a lot of gay, bisexual, and lesbian friends, and I do want them to be happy. But I can't honestly say that I support their lifestyle. As a Mormon, I believe that marriage is ordained by God between a man and a woman. And this is what I will teach my children.

In my church's last General Confrence, in which talks by our general authorities were broadcast all around the world, the Brethren told us we need to pick our side. No fence sitting, and to make it known where we stand, and why.

I am not a mother, nor will I be in the very near future, but I know what I want my kids to be taught. Being taught that my son or daughter can marry the same gender goes against my core beliefs, and those of my church and my God.

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ issued a proclamation on the Family in 1995, long before the issues of gay rights and gay marriage came to light. [link] It states where our church stands on these issues and others in regards to marriage.

"The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. "

Sorry if I sound a little preachy in this journal, but I thought it was high time I say where I stand on Prop.8.

I hope that I explained my views throughly enough for you to understand me, and I hope that none of you take offense to what I have said. The purpose of this post was not to offend anyone. I appologize if I somehow did offend someone.

Truely,
Danae (Inu-freak)

Haha!

So yeah. I'll probably be scanning up some of my older pieces that are just photos at the moment. The one's I won't be updating are the ones where I don't have the origional anymore thanks to mom going through anything with papers adn throwing anything used away. Why she does this I have no freaking clue. I've lost many good stories and sketches to her need to clean.

Works scanned so far
Nightmare[link]

So yeah...

I've been seeing Frank's mom on campus lately. She's taking a Criminology class, and I think a Poli-Sci. Don't know why... But she keeps insisting on introducing me as "Frankie's girlfriend" even though he and I aren't dating anymore. Kind of weird, especially since I am trying to move on and date other people (which is going just about as well as trying to stick two North ends of a magnet together. =/ ) So yeah, thus the Yearning mood... *Somebody to Love by Queen plays in the background*

I'm working still on that damned book cover... Just need to draw some people sittin in the benches then I can color that, send it off to him, and work on two other coloring techniques. I really HATE this.

Lol, before we get to the interview, I am happy to announce that two of my friends have just gotten home from serving a worthy mission this last week. Elder Steven Jacobs, and Elder Christopher Jeusckie. YAY STEVEN AND CHRIS!

And now to our scheduled interview! Questions are asked by Muirin007, and answered by my OC Edme. Little bit of background, Edme is an OC of mine used in a few RP's with . She shares a co-ed dorm with his character Lucio, who is completely blind. (see my gallery) Both Edme and Lucio are college students.

1. If you could invent a holiday, what would it celebrate, and what would be the designated day of celebration?
*grimiaces* Wow, good question to start off with. *nervous laugh* Uummm... I'd do a "Dress like a Vampire" day and have it be on the 12th of December. *laughs* I dunno if anyone has already come up with that one yet.

2. What makes a good artist?
Hmm... I would have to say creativity. Not too many people are able to think outside the box.

3. What is the question that you are most frequently asked?
What is my major. And I don't even really know at the moment, though I think I am leaning more towards classic English Literature...

4. What ethnicity would you like to be if you weren't already the one you are now?
Well, I have black hair and pale skin... I think I would like to be Italian. It'd be nice to have some color.

5. Opera. Love it or hate it?
It's pretty good. I could stand to listen to it.

6. If you could live in any time period besides the one you are living in, what would it be and why?
Oh! Oh! The 1920's! Gotta love those flappers! And guys clothing looked a lot cooler.*grin*

7. Finish the statement: Books.....
Can lead anyone on an exciting adventure. *smiles*

8. Finish the statement: Nature is....
The easiest way to find yourself. Nothing says deep internal investigation like a walk through nature either by yourself or with a loved one.

9. Finish the statement: I wish I'd never....
Kissed my cousin. Blech! And then he has to go and blab that to his fiancee, and Lucio! Gawd! I'm gonna kill Tom. >.<

10. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck couldn't chuck wood?
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. HAH!

11. Suppose all of your five senses (touch, taste, hearing, smell, sight, in case you're feeling scatter-brained) are going to be lost, but you can only keep one. Which one do you choose and why?
Uuugh... Oh man. That's a toughie... why not just two? I could live with being able to hear and touch... I suppose hearing would be the one I would have to live with.

12. What is a talent that you wished you possessed?
Hmm. I wish I could paint. That would be good.

13. List three positive things about yourself.
I'm loyal... Creative... and caring.

14. List three negative things about yourself.
My showers are too long, I procrastinate, and I have a tendancy to be a bit tackless... Sorry Lucio.

15. What frightens you the most?
Probably loosing Lucio. Even though I've only known him for about a year, I can't imagine my life without him. If he were to get hit by something and fatally injured, I would probably follow close behind him. Now doesn't that sound melodramatic?

16. What is the most useful thing you've ever learned?
>//> Oh well.... We're not going to go into that. Hehe ^//^;

17. Everyone has bad habits. What are some of yours?
<i. Well...I bite my nails. I can't ever get them to grow out long. I yawn with my mouth open, and sometimes if I get really annoyed I curse like a sailor.

18. Time to get cheesy. Who do you love most in the world?
Heh, I think we all know by now. ^///^

19. How would you describe your fashion sense?
I'm a bit eclectic. I'll wear a striped short sleeve shirt and a long thermal hooded shirt under it with knee-length kakhi shorts, and sometimes earings... But if you want a deffinate sense of my style, I love to shop at The GAP.

20. Who is your favorite fictional character of all time, be it from a book, movie, video game, comic book, etc.? Why do you like this person so...

I already deduced that Jacob will imprint based off of what Stephenie said at a Q&A session in Passadena. She said that the book is loosely inspired by The Bard's Midsummer Night's Dream. SO! My mom tells me that, I say I kinda figured he would. Then she says that he imprints on... wait.. can't say... that would be a spoiler...lets just say 'A Baby.' Now I haven't gotten to that point yet. This is all thanks to loud-mouth.

Okay, after spending a week in Utah with my grandparents, then driving home, taking a mini-vacation in St. George (our origional Utah vacation was a totaly bust) I am pretty tired of vacations. Which is odd. My mom would describe me as being a bit lazy, yet... why do I feel so damn restless now and want to work?

Okay for one thing, I just recently got laid off from my job at Juice it Up. Same old story -- slow business equals lay-offs, I get picked. Tho for this one, I think it was because my boss thought it was job abandonment when I left for Utah, when I had filed for vacation time the week before. The schedule girl said that I didn't have to call him for the time off, just set it up with her, so I did. She said she would tell the boss... uh-uh. She didn't. He thought I was just going the lazy route for quitting -- not showing up at all. So, long store short, I'm not working there anymore. Sand Panda.

Anywho. Mom has gone up to Girls camp, and I'm at home with Dad, and my youngest siblings. And for the past few days we've been out and about. Monday we went to a lake and rented paddle boats... yesterday we didn't do anything because someone asked us to watch their kids. Today we went to Santa Monica Pier and hung out on the beach for a few hours. Yes it was fun and refreshing to get out of the house. But then you come back, see the mess for last night, the fast food bags from lunch... and you regret going. I think any mothers here probably know what I mean. I'm not a mom yet (and I probably won't be for a long while)

I kinda just want to be busy with something other than a vacation. When I told Dad today that I needed to get things done with a friend for school, and that she and I had made these plans weeks ago, he pulls the "I took time off work to spend with you! I don't want to stay at the house!" card. I told him I could ride my bike to the bus stop, and then ride the bus to school, and he wouldn't have to worry about me. He can my siblings could go and do whatever they wanted! But he said "No! You're not riding the bus!" So here I am, saying that he doens't need to stay home, and he just totaly disregards my previously made plans. So I had to cancle with my friend, and now I need to work on getting stuff for school done. -_-;

I really really REALLY want to get this done this week. School starts August 25th, and I need to get my library fine payed before I can regester ( turned in some books late. I got busy and forgot to turn them in on time, and then forgot to pay the fine before school ended. I wish they would let you pay it online. It'd be so much faster)I also need to set an apointment to meet with a counsilor and get myself on a set path towards graduation. I don't want to be a "professional student."

I think I should put togeher a progress chart that shows what classes's I've taken that are required for GED, and what I still need to take. I wish they handed out something like this during Freshman Orientation.

So, I just got back from my one week vacation in Utah, and my uncle has been able to fix our old computer completely, and all of our pictures and music are still on there. Thank goodness.

This means that soon Dad will hook it up to our monitor, and take our newer tower into Staples and have them fix that one since that's where he bought it from. Hopefully they will be able to fix all the crap going on with it and possibly downgrade it to Windows XP. Vista was the worst thing that ever happened to our computer. And if they do, I'll be able to upload my old art program - Procreate Painter Classic - and actually start drawing again and posting more things.

Oh, and my trip to Utah was okay... would've been better if Aunt Wendy hadn't manipulated grandma into not letting us spend the night with them. Maybe then she wouldn't have been so edgy. And if Wendy hadn't insisted that her friends use grandma's house like a free hotel, and if she hadn't had her kids spend the night there, grandpa wouldn't have been as psychotic. He's in a lot of pain from his back surgury, and having rude house guests and noisy, bratty grandkids just made him worse...

Well, we've been robbed and burglarized in the last week at my work. (I wasn't there at the time, thankfully)

Apparently last Saturday evening, the two closing girls were robbed at closing. The thief told them to put the money into a bag or else he'd shoot. So they handed it over and he left.

Then on Memorial Day, an employee came in at around 2:00 am, and stole $50 from the cash box in the freezer. They had their face covered, and so we aren't too sure about who it was. Anoop thinks it was probably one of the girls who closed that Monday night, which I think is a really dumb thing. It could've been any employee, not just the two girls who closed. So now those two girls are on probation.

Glad I told one of the girls that morning that I was busy that day.

So NOW that something has happened, Anoop has had the lock on the door changed, and given the rest of us new keys (Dumb), and he's now thinking of putting in a key pad at the door that you need to punch in to disarm the security system before you open the store (a little better, but not much).

Seriously, maybe he should be the one doing the cash-count at the end of the evening? Or atleast be there at closing to make sure something doesn't happen.

My mom has decided that she's going to be there the hour that we close, sitting in the car with her cell, ready to call the police if something happens. Dad's remark on her idea of one of them staying at the store was "What am I going to do durring that time?" Uh, making sure you oldest daughter is OKAY?

I get up, and just listen for a minute and figure out that either late last night or early this morning someone had tried to break into my dad's Honda.

Apparently these guys were real amatures. lol. For one thing, ALL the doors in the car were unlocked, yet they still tried to pry out the diver's side window, then realized that the door was unlocked. The stole the top plastic part of the dash covering the wires and ignition, and were apparently trying to hotwire it. They stole the plastic part around the steering wheel, the radio, and my dad's laptop in the back seat.

Apparently they were hungry too, because the unopened bag of M&Ms was empty, and they ate an apple from dad's lunch and left the core in the car.

The officer who came by to take the prints on the window basically knows how to hotwire and steal a car, and told Dad that this was probably the first time these idiots tried to steel a car.

Damage was minimal, so hopefully the insurance will cover the repairs to the window, replace the dash & ignition, and the plastic part of the steering wheel.

Okay for all the people watching me because of the few Phantom based pictures... Erik still haunts the margins of my notes... Especially my French notes. He's just staying away from the sketchbook because... it's full of non-Leroux based stuffs.

So today was Frank's last full day in California. Tomorrow he and his mom and dad will be leaving for Utah. They'll get his other suit in the mall outside of Barstow, and then stay in Las Vegas Friday night. Saturday they'll hope to be in St. George, by the afternoon, and be in Salt Lake by the evening. Sunday they'll be at the confrence center watching general conference (GC is where the leaders of our church all give talks from the conference center in Salt Lake, which are then broadcast worldwide to the members). After that, he said that they'll be going through the Salt Lake temple for a session, and he reports on Wednsday for the Missionary Training Center (MTC)

And because it was the last day he and I would see eachother for the next two (or two and a half) years, he offered to give me a ride home. On the way we stopped at Forest Lawn -- the local cemetary -- and just walks around and talked. He still feels like he has to remind me to date. I told him that I will, and he doesn't have to worry about that.

"Watch, when I come back you'll probably be either engaged or married." Huh, nope. Don't think that's going to happen in the next two years. lol. Seriously, I can't see myself married any time soon. Yes I can see myself dating someone, or more than just one person, in the next two years, but I don't think I'd be courting someone just yet. Though, there are a few Return Missionaries that I can see myself going on a date with. Not going to throw any names out, just where they came back from: Japan and South Africa. xD

Seth and I might go on a date... He wants me to teach him how to iceskate yet he can barely rollerblade. This is going to be fun.

*shrug* Maybe I can use my down time to keep teaching myself piano. I want to be able to do a recording of myself playing it, and possibly send it to either my friend on his mission in Russia, or to Frank.

In other news, Brother Meacham was pretty ticked about the state of the institute building this past week. People are treating it like a pig stye -- moving around the furneture, leaving their fast food wrappers on the floor, leaving their dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. So today he was asking me and another student if we thought it was rude of him to write on the white board "I don't go to your home, leave my trash around there, or rearange your furnerture. Why would you do it to me?" and we told him that he is perfectly justified in doing so. He then had to go and teach a class, and so I went up to the board and wrote "If you make a mess, please clean it up. If you move a chair, please put it back." and cleaned up the kitchen -- all without being told to do so. Seriously, some of these students are just... *sigh* extremely rude. One of them has even broken some of the pool ques at the institute. Granted, he did replace them, but he's broken 6 in the past two semesters.

For those who know me on a more personal basis here on DA, they might have a better understanding with this journal.

I think Brother Meachem knows about everything that happened between me and Frank (or atleast, most of it.)

He said the other day that he thinks that us agreeing that I wasn't going to wait for Frank was a good thing. Agreed.

Frank and I have been able to actally talk easier, and with less awkward silences. Which is nice, don't get me wrong. I still like to talk to him, and with him leaving for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah in two weeks (starting Wednsday) I kinda want to talk to him as much as we can before he leaves.

I do still feel like I want to be close to him. More like how we were two months ago... but I've managed to force myself to leave the room when that feeling arises. Mostly because I don't want him to see that I still do like him. A lot. Now the people I told the other story to, you're probably thinking "How can you still like him after what he said?" I know, I know. It confuses me, too.

Anyway, today I was working on a necklace during the 6 hour wait I had between my yoga class and the evening class I have on Tuesdays at 7:00pm. And he comes over and sits next to me on the couch after Matt and his friend from Japan left to get food. Atfirst it was just like "Okay.. he just wants to sit by me. nothing big" then he ends up putting his arm on my knees (I was sitting with my feet on the edge of the couch seat) I ignored this, and just talked with my friend Mike Sonora (lol, I call him my BMF, and he calls me his BFF)

Then he starts playing with me like he did when we were first going out: basically, tickling, and taking my chopsticks as I reach for my food. I laugh, and then I'm finally able to get back to my necklace.

Then that night in the evening class, he keeps holding my hand. Towards the end of the class, he's tracing the lines in my hand with his fingers, and regrettably, I was doing the same... (-.-)

After the class, I pulled him aside and told him that I was getting mixed signals, and he was a little confused. I tried to clarify. He finally understood.

Hopefully this won't happen again later

Okay here's the scenario:

I've received two emails from a person I don't particularly like. Each time the emails were non-threatening -- just junk activities like "know the first initial of your secret admirer" or "know your age by what you eat!" Something you can just delete without any qualms.

Now, I know for a fact that I have never given this person my email, so they most likely got it from a forward message I sent to some friends, who then sent it on, and back to me (one of my friends is listed in the "Sent to:" space above the email).

What should I do? Should I email the person asking how they had attained my email address, or should I just block them?

Okay, I just HAD to skip French today, and I know ripper is going to kill me. lol.

We've started learning past participles in french. Pretty easy. (yes, it is. Once you remember that er-verbs end in é, ir-verbs end in i, and re-verbs end in u, you're good.)

But yeah. Absolutely had to skip it today, but don't worry, I read the next chapter, and worked on the homework for it. It was more practice for le passé composé, and translating English sentences into French.

Example: "You [tu] finished your homework!" -- Tu as fini tes devoirs !

And I had my friend who served for two years in Quebec on a french-speaking mission to check it. I got it right. w00t!

On wedensday we're meeting in the language lab, and we're probably going to take the old chapter 4 final just to brush up on last semester.

But yeah-- reason for ditching: I cannot stand Dakota. The boy is just extremely annoying. Atleast he got the hint last week that I don't want to talk to him when I ignored his extemely immature remarks, and practiced with the girl next to me. I wish that Ben was still in the class, he was funny and could get Dakota to calm the hell down. Seriously, even tho Dakota graduated from high school two or three years before me (he tested out, and graduated at age 15), I'm more dedicated to actually getting my A.A. He's been in college since he was 15. He's 18 now, and has no freaking clue what he's doing. He's taken Chinese, Japanese, and now French, along with Math and Computer classes. No English classes, no Political Science classes, no Science classes, no History, no nothing. Oh, wait... he's taking Piano. I know this because my friend Jamie has him in her class (lol, and it's hilarious that genius boy Dakota is sucking so badly at Piano XD LOVE IT!!)

lol, I bet just my teaching myself piano at the moment is better than his... tho I wouldn't put a lot of money on that. >.> I kinda suck at the moment from not being able to practice over the wintre break. lawl.

So thank you!

I think that it probably wasn't the stomach flu. It was probably just some bad fish from Saturday night. Those store bought battered filets never sit that well with me.

I am on the mend. All I have now is an irratated throat, and a slight cough. Other than that, fit as a fiddle.

Um... on a slight downbeat, for those of you who knew that I had a boyfriend for the past few months, well... things officially ended today. But it's fine, he's leaving for Texas for his mission, so it's for the best. Who knows, if we still want to give it a shot after he comes home, and if I'm still single... who knows.

In other news, I might have a movie date with a guy friend. He and I were both talking about movies we wanted to see, and lol, as it turns out he wants to see Penelope. And so do I. So we'll see what happens XD

My body absolutely hates me xD;;

Here I am saying to all my friends that I probably won't get this freaking flu bug going around because I manage to eat a lot of citrus fruit and drink a ton of water a day (my number one beverage of choice ... That and Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice, lol. )

And guess what, I have it. Or I think I do. I'm not vomiting my guts out yet, but I am feeling a little nausious, and it sucks that my mom NEVER buys Chicken Noodle Soup. It's always Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom, or Vegetable soup. I need hot chicken broth with egg noodles STAT!

So yeah, lookd up some recepies on Foodnetwork.com, and I found one called "Old Fashoned Chicken Noodle Soup." I'm thinking I'll have mom make that for me tomorrow, or even tonight. Needless to say I will not be going to school tomorrow. And that's fine. I already warned my teachers that I wouldn't be able to go on Monday because I had a training date for Mervyns. They called YESTERDAY to tell me it was canceled, and the jerks didn't even give me the dates for the next ones, so I have to call Lisa there and ask for another date. Good golly miss molly, these people are impossible.

But I will have to go to my History of Jazz class. We have a quiz that's worth 20 pts, and I would rather not lower my grade that far this early in the semester. So I'll just tell the teacher that I'll have to leave right after the freaking quiz.

Thankfully Mme. Vigano knows that I'm a good enough student that she didn't make a huge deal about me not being in French tomorrow, and Coach Watenabe said I can make up my Monday Yoga in my Tuesday Yoga.

Right now it really sucks that my parents are so extremely strict about keeping the Sabbath day holy. We don't leave the house unless someone's dying, we're going home or to church, or it's an emergencey. And we don't go shopping. Sometimes we'll buy food on Sunday, but usually it's the stuff that we need for that night that we had forgotten to get on Saturday. So going out and buying a couple things of Chicken Ramen right now is out of the freaking question. -_- *starving*

Well, I'm going to see if I have all the ingredients for the soup. Hope this finds the rest of you in decent health.

Good thing I have untill the 2nd week to get it. I'm going to be buying my History of Jazz book from the bookstore so I can be sure to get the CD ROM that is supposed to come with it. You never know if you're getting everything from Amazon.com when it comes to used textbooks, or if the CD ROM is usable.

Oh, I'm gonna die.

I'll be taking the 3rd off from school because the training date my employer gave me is on a school day... Atleast I'll be able to ask my teachers what they'll be covering that day so I can study it myself. I'll be missing just French II and History of Jazz.

Crap. Just checked Amazon, and they don't have my books anymore.

I needed History+Tradition Of Jazz by Larson (2nd edition) and Gardner's Art Through Ages: Western Per Vol I. -___- not happy now. Now I have to get scapled by the school book store. Now I'll have to pay $160.00 for those books. Not fun, considering that's how much I payed last year for FOUR different books last semester.

Atleast this way I'll have an easier time getting the book store to buy them back from me.

No, not really. And don't worry! I've managed to evade the flu... for now. OMG, Mme. Vigano is the maine cause for this journal.

My college is doing a "Study Abroad" thing for the next winter session in guess where... PARIS!! AHHHHH!!! OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMEFFINGGEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! *spaz* *die*

*resurected*

OOOH! I would just LOVE to do that! And she says we'll be paying nearly one third of the price to fly there because it's the winter. Oh em ge. DO WANT. Shoot, hypervenelating... hold on. Okay much better. ^^

So, um. Yeah! Do deffinately want! Don't know if I can money wise. I don't even have a job now (tho I AM applying, and following up, and doing all that I freaking can. It's just that there aren't too many places that are hiring now.)

Hopefully that lady from Mervyns calls back and tells me when I can go in for training. Had to clear up some stuff on a background check. Do biggie. Someone just ransposed some numbers wrong, and ended up putting their name under my SSN. No fraudlent activity.

It's no Nordsrom, but hey, a job's a job. As long as I can pay for school with it, I'll take it. They'll pay me $8.00 an hour (minimum wage was just raised in January) and after their 30 day probation period, if kept I will be earing $8.25.... Now I KNOW Nordstrom would be paying more. When I was a "Nordy" (lol, love that nick-name) minimum wage was only $7.25 an hour. I was paid $8.00 an hour. So, logic says that now every worker there is earning atleast $8.75 an hour there (I say atleast because the sales personell get commission along with minimum wage)

Oh what I wouldn't give to be a Nordy. @.@
