I care if it has a plot. I see no point in playing it if there's no real plot.
of course ToS's plot set my standards pretty high for good plots XD;;;
I really like it when the plot leads you one direction then SUDDENLY TWISTS in another.

oh my word... king DDD from that Kirby game for the N64. I HATED him.

yes. LinkXShiek, ZelosXLoyd, ZelosXKratos, KratosxYuan, ZelosXoc (Zelos gets around alot in my mind). but there are some pairings that I HATE. for example, ZelosXSheena, LoydXSheena, RegalXPresea, and I'm not all that fond of EmilXMarta

I have one. Flute of Insanity, for the Zelda games. it's my idea for a Zelda game, because some friends and I were reeeeaaaally sick of all the repetitiveness -_-

yes. pretty much only for Tales of Symphonia (like my realism serise)

okay, this is for all you Youmacon veterans out there.
do they sell pocky at Youmacon? seriously, I need to know this XD my brother will only come/drive if they have pocky there.

ALSO!!! do any of you conventions goers have any tips for "anime convention virgins?"
the person I plan on taking and I have never been to an anime convention, so we really don't know what to expect or how anything works I hardly know a thing and I read up on it for hours last night.
and another question: 2 days? or 3 days? I know they don't sell 2 day passes, but is it possible to buy passes for 2 different days if you don't want to go 3 days?
and would it be worth it for the 3 day pass? AND DO YOU NEED TO BE THERE ALL DAY, because last time I checked, weekends weren't a full 3 days long.

unlike most of the ToS cast, Sheena's costume is not completely out of the range of my sewing skills.

EDIT: okay, so I found out that there will in fact be a Youmacon next year, I even found out the dates. still not quiet sure about the price, but yeah.
first of all, can any of you tell me if there will be one next year?
and if there is, could you tell me how much entry topically costs? (if you could tell me the cost for 2 people it would be even better. I'm possibly planning someone's birthday present)
I looked up some prices but I'm not sure if they'd be accurate.

life stream and the future

gonna be on life stream again today. [link] if you're gonna watch me PLEASE come with ideas of things for me to draw. I ran out of ideas yesterday and no one had any.

so onto the future:
I've been struggling with what career path I want to pursue as of recently. I love art so much! but I also feel something in the back of my mind tugging in the direction of anthropology. I'd like to go into the field of anthropology, it sounds like it'd be kind of fun, but at the same time I feel like if I went in that direction I'd be betraying a huge part of myself.
and no, I don't think the world will end in 2012 ._. don't give me that crap about the Mayan calender ending there. we don't know why it ended there. for all we know they could have decided to just end it there because they didn't feel like working on it any more. besides, the idea they had would be that it would a change in consciousness , NOT the end of the world.
so seriously, don't give me that end of the world crap ._. I don't believe it AT ALL (partially because I am a Christian and it says in the Bible that not even the son knows when the end will come.)

I am freaking sick of seeing all these journals complaining about how much the person's life sucks ._. I am on DA for the art. I don't want to be going through someone's gallery then look at a description that says OH WOE IS ME!!!
you people think you have it so FREAKING bad!!! if I want to get depressed I'll go look back on my own life ._. not go on here and look up someone's emo ranting.
honestly every time I look at the journals in my messages and I'll find at least one complaining about how their boyfriend broke up with them or something like that.
you want a suckish crappy life?! then step into my shoes for a second. I haven't had a REAL friend until recently this year! most people at my school treat me like I have some deadly contagious disease because I'm a little different. I have spent EVERY signal lunch period by myself until very recently. I sit through the first half of youth group trying as hard as I can not to cry because NOT ONE SIGNAL PERSON will speak to me. I have been excluded from just about everything my ENTIRE LIFE. but do I go on here and bitch about it? NO! because I'm quiet sure that none of you on here want to hear it ._. most of you probably don't even care.
now I understand that you would use DA to vent, but you don't need to go all "WOE IS ME!!! MY BOYFRIEND BROKE UP WITH ME! NO ONE'S LIFE COULD POSSIBLY BE WORSE THEN MINE!!!" when you do that, the people who's life is worse then yours are gonna get pissed.
another reason why I don't bitch about my 'crappy' life to you guys is because I can handle it ._. I can look on the bright side, which is apparently something no one on DA is capable of. I can also take it because I believe there's a reason my life is the way it is. now I don't want to go all Simon Birch on you, but I feel like God has big plans for me that involve me suffering a little. (yes I am a Christian) one thing would just be as simple as sharing my story with others, so people don't have to go through the same suffering that I endure.

maybe parts of this sound like an emo rant to you, but that's not at all what I"m intending.

also, some of you have jumped to the conclusion that my life is awful ._. on the contrary I really don't think it is. I'm doing well in school. I have some real friends outside of DA now, in the real world. I'm even starting to break out of my shell, I actually have the courage and self confidence to pick a partner when we're told to pick our own partners. my art is getting better and I already have at least some sort of idea of what I want to do for a living. I feel like for the first time ever my life is actually near perfect. (I've felt my life was good before, but never really to this extent)
oh, and all the stuff I wrote about above? consider yourselves very trusted because that's stuff I would only tell the school councilors. I wouldn't even tell my own family about that stuff.

a word about the Tales

if you're looking for a good video game that's unlike any other, then look no further then the Tales series (Tales of Symphonia 1 and 2, Tales of Vesparia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Fantasia, and so on). these games are incredible. you get to choose (in a way) what happens in these games. the choices you make affect the out come of the story.
one of the reasons I personally love the Tales games is because, in a way, they are really real. the things that go on in the plot let off the idea that nothing is really black and white, or if you rather, good and evil. not one of the characters is perfect, which makes them easy to relate to. they have all done things that they are not proud of.
also, these games (at least Tales of Symphonia 1 and 2) are real tear-tearjerkers. there are parts that will just make you want bawl your eyes out, but there are also parts that will leave you shrieking for joy. of course there are also times that will leave you completely dumb-founded (for example: Zelos betraying you in a speedo? true story), and there's also those moments that make you want to punch a certain character's lights out. all in all it's hard (at least for me) to not get emotionally pulled into these games. I've actually had to stop playing for a good 20 minutes at times just to pull myself together.
don't even get me started on the plots ._. there are so many twists and turns! just when you think you've got it right, BOOM the plot turns and proves you wrong. and don't anyone dare say that it's boring after you beat it the first time ._. I am on my second play through on my second file of Tales of Symphonia 1 and I'm STILL getting some surprises.
some of the Tales games are also great if you like your games to last. Tales of Symphonia 1 has around 80 hours of game play. it's so long that they had to put it on 2 disks ._. this is VERY rare for video games.

and this concludes my journal. now go buy one of the Tales games!!!

ToS: Dawn of the New World Critique

I decided to make this because some people out there aren't sure weather or not they want to play the sequel to Tales of Symphonia. BY THE WAY. TALES OF SYMPHONIA IS THE BEST GAME EVER (minus the not so great graphics (hey, it's pretty old, the graphics were good at the time it was made)).

okay here we go

THE OPENING!!!
I'm starting with this/ including it because the first game had an opening that could only be described as epic.
no complaints here at all. the opening for the sequel was just as epic as the opening for the first if not MORE epic.

THE BATTLE STYLE!!!
now here's something that they really improved on after the first one, not to say that the battle style was great in the first, but to be honest it's much better in the second. you can run around the entire area instead of just in a straight line. I really like this because I can actually AVOID the opponents attacks more efectivly. it's also nice for those who liked the straight fighting style because all you do is not press a button and you don't have to run around. I also enjoyed the new attack system, with the artes and mystic artes. not only do the mystic artes provide a powerful attack, but they're cool to watch as well.
however there was one thing I didn't like about the new battle style. when using the regular attacks there is a longer gap in the timeing, leaving you open to an attack from the eneimey. although I've concluded that this is because I am a button masher. I get figety in the battles, ESPECIALLY the boss battles (you can hear me laughing like a maniac during these...)

THE GRAPHICS!!!
the graphics in the sequel, wile not perfect, are rather good. although I can't say I'm a fan of the softer coloring.
one thing I liked about the graphics is that everyone was taller, yes even Genis. and they didn't look quiet so chibi like they did in the first one.

THE PLOT!!!
if the other aspects didn't get you to love this game, the plot will.
the plot in this game is incredible! there are twists that you just don't see comeing! and like the last game, Dawn of the New World has parts that will drive you to tears (if you're a female gamer like me that is).
there is just one thing that HUGELY disapionted me here... and that would be the play time. they went from over 80 hours of game play, to a mear 30 to 40 hours of game play. now I don't know about you, but I like my games to last.

voices!!!
first I have to give a round of apluase to Jonny Young Bosh. he played Emil AND Ratotosk. not to mention he was a good choice in my opinion.
there were characters that I wished for the old voice actors for, like Sheena. I liked the origional voice for her better.
but there were also voices I liked better in Dawn of the New World. take Zelos for example. wile the first voice actor did I good job, I don't feel he really quiet captured Zelos's character. it just didn't sound right when he said "my hunnies <3 " now the newer voice actor? I believe he did an amazing job!

AND LASTLY! the map
if there was one thing I missed from the first game, it had to be the feild. now sure it's frustrating trying to find the places you need to go on that feild, but taking away the feild took away a valuable place to train and level up. the field also gave better use the Reihards. I really didn't see the point in having reihards when you could just walk. flying around was one of my favorite parts!

I give Dawn of the New World a four out of five. I really enjoyed this game and I hope you all decided to try it.

my brother got Disidia Final Fantasy ._. it's so awesome that my eyes melted out of their sockets (not really but you get the point)
he let me play it and of course the first character I chose was Sephiroth. cuz... well... GIANT LONG SWORD. NEED I SAY MORE.
I was foaming at the mouth playing it for a good hour or so untill his PSP died D: I think I almost cried...

one thing I don't like though:
the story mode. they way it's set up reminds me of a stratigy game. and I hate those. with a burning passion. a passion that's flames can not even be put out by a game as epic as Disidia.

Sophmore year drama

so today was my first day as a Sophmore. I WAS AWESOME!!! I love not being a Freshmen so much! especially now that they took out the carpet from Freshmen hall, now it's got just a bunch of shiny blue and gray tiles, they're fairly ugly.
my schedual this semester is fairly boring. Economics first hour, then Geometry right next door. then I go ALL THE WAY ACROST THE ENTIRE SCHOOL for study hall, then back not quite as far for World Lit in Sophmore hall and that class is RIGHT by my locker. after that I have Religion, then World History. and last hour I have biology with my crush and worst enimey. oh well, I guess I can stomach him for an hour scince I don't ever have to see him before that
I got to see all my friends today 8D

okay. it never ocured to me untill today just how much anime shit we have lying around the house ._. it's like every where you look you can see Mega Man or Pokemon.

so I have decided to dig up every little anime thing I can find and take a FREAKING HUGE photoshoot. you will see some of my most prized posesions in this shoot actually. like my Shamon King figures, and my GIANT Pikachu plush (it's HUGE people it's like 3 times the size of my head!!! of course there are things I will miss in the shoot ;^; my Sailor Moon doll that I owned for a week, my Entei (I think that's how you spell it?) pencil topper, AND my Digi-Vice. all are missing and have been missing for years. some of you might already know what I'm talking about and sqweed at the title were all like "IS THIS WHAT I THINK IT IS?!" those of you who did that were likely thinking it was about the Devil May Cry game serise, the rest of you were proably thinking this would be some angsty poetry.
this is not angsty poetry.
this IS infact about the Devil May Cry game serise.

so, my brother recently got the game Devil May Cry 4 (actually #2 if you put it all in cronalogical order.... don't ask). as I usually do when I'm on the coputer and he's on the PS3, I ocasionally looked at the screen he was watching. I saw a hot guy (Nero) and another hot guy (Dante) fighting with BIG swords, guns, and Nero and his awesome demonic arm. so I thought "that game looks friggin awesome." so I tried it out last night. what was going through my mind? "THIS GAME IS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!"

so I think you should all go buy the game now XD

FANFICTION RANT

things I hate about some fanfiction:

1. when they change a character's gender
I don't know if this pisses anyone else off but I HATE it when people do that. people will go a change the gender of a character like say LINK from the Zelda games. and they'll do it so they can put him with Ganandowrf without him being gay, or put him with Zelda and make him gay. I HATE THIS. if you want Zelda to be a lezbian then put her with Malon or something, NOT A FEMALE LINK. or you want Link to be straight. PUT HIM WITH ZELDA, OR MALON, OR SARIA. (I'm biased toward Ocarina of Time)now I'm sure some of you aren't bugged by this... but I am, I'm just makeing that clear.

2. when characters that have no feelings for each other suddenly develope feeling for each and start makeing out or haveing sex RIGHT when they develope those feelings
why don't I like this? because it could never happen. EVER. I honestly have never heard of people falling in love randomly then deciding to have sex right then. I've heard of one night stands, but one night stands have nothing to do with love like the type of fanfics that I'm talking about.

3. those sloppy fanfictions that aren't proof read before being put up
you know, the ones with a bizillion type-os? honestly, who isn't bugged by reading something that has type-o in every dang sentance? THIS can be fixed by proof reading before you put it up though.

4. those SUPER NONCANNON fanficions where all the characters are OOC ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME
when I'm reading a fanfiction on a game like Tales of Symphonia I'd prefer it not to take place IN MEXICO. Tales of Symphonia takes place in Tethealla and Sylverant. THERE IS NO FRIGGIN MEXICO. and when characters like EMIL who is really shy and soft spoken act all like "OMG I'M GONNA MOLEST YOU RICTOR" it BUGS me. if anything it would be Rictor saying "OMG I'M GONNA MOLEST YOU EMIL". now granted I read something like this and liked the fanfiction, BUT they provided reasons for the OOCness, like drunkeness, that and I was so busying trying not to die of laughter from all the SUPER RANDOMNESS and was incredibly impressed at how they got Zelos's personalitly SPOT ON (he wasn't OOC at all). of course it's hard to write a fanfiction and not have the characters atleast alittle OOC, but I'm talking about where they're SUPER OOC, where you start to wonder HAVE THEY EVEN PLAYED THE GAME OR HEARD OF IT.

it's nothing serious. I can fix it by unpluging it then pluging it back in, but I'm afraid it might get more serious.

btw, what's wrong with it is I can't get the cursor to go where I want it to, like I'll move it one way and it will go the other. and it keeps comeing back every now and again.

just save up like 3 work days pay and get this one [link] 27 cm who I will have to buy a new head for different eyes, a wig and of course the eyes which in all is still only about $46(shipping included)

and could someone give me an equation to figure out how long it would take me to earn 160? I earn $16 every day I work and sometimes I earn 36. an equation for both would be nice! please and thank you!!!
