I've got a few projects in the works that I should have up before long, and I'm also looking forward to showing you all more of my work from school. For those of you who don't yet know, I'm currently enrolled at Watkins College of Art, Design | Film in Nashville. Great school - I'm making tons of new dA friends, LOL!

Been pondering the idea of shifting my focus from Fine Art to Illustration, just because Illustration is so freakin' wicked. I see so much work done for illustration and graphic design and I just love every bit of it. But eh, we'll see. I love the fine art training.

I digress xD Anyway it's been a crazy semester and time is not my ally, but like I said I'll have some good stuff for viewing soon.

Also, check out this awesome stock gallery I've had the good fortune to stumble upon:
She's got some pretty wicked kinetic poses there, great for action reference and such. I'll be featuring her for a while & doing a piece or two based on her stock and characters for her. Keep an eye out!

CSS made by =BloodPromiser
Texture by `Princess-of-Shadows

Hey guys. Whoa, didn't expect to be hearin' from me now did you? Well, keep ahold of yer britches cause I ain't back yet. But I'm knocking around the idea of at least putting my stuff up here. dA takes a lot of measures to protect our work, and I'd rather do that then cover them all in watermarks and hope no one touches it. Plus, I really want critique and such on my work, to get better. But most of all, I want to get more involved with collaberations with other artists. I love that sort of stuff.

BUT. Not coming back just yet; I've got other fish to fry atm. What you ask? Well, for one I've been participating in the War for Arcadia [link] . This place is awesome for comics-centered folks like me, and a great community besides. Check it out sometime!

Also, I've been pursuing a degree in Fine Art. I'll be heading off to Watkins College next semester, & am doing several studio art courses her at Vol State. Getting involved with that has been amazing, I've learned so much and become wonderfully connected with a great group of friends.

Past that, running around like a decapitated chicken with school, church, girlfriend, work at the karate school. WOO.

So, just letting you all know I'm alive...I might throw up some of the stuff I've done lately, but we'll see. But please, talk to me! How have you all been?

Here we go. I know by now you guys are tired of journals like this, so I'll just be brief.

I've got to leave.

Fact is, dA is doing little for me artistically. I'm not getting the work done I'd like to be, I'm spending more time browsing than creating, it's tripping me up spiritually...the list goes on. I'm not getting any commissions or anything like it, I'm getting next to no critique or anything on my work, even from my friends here. So I'm done wasting my time on a site when obviously it ain't doing me or anybody else any good.

I'm not going to take the gallery down; you all can keep it. I'm sure people out there want to see it.

I'll keep up with whom I can, in whatever ways I can. I hope I still have a way to see work my friends here do & do life with them.
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who commissioned me to help my girl Amy out. That got them gas and food for a few weeks, and I'm terribly glad. Things are still tight, so I'm going to continue to support them with commission money. You can find my battles in the archives section of the forums, and the latest battle in the Battleground. Just for anyone who wants to see some more of my stuff...

Anyways, guys, hit me up, talk to me! I haven't talked to a lot of you in quite a while. What sort of things would you guys like to see me draw, or do you think I should work on? Give me some feedback and some inspiration, I'd appreciate it greatly!

Also, I'd appreciate prayer towards my girlfriend's financial troubles and towards my faulty memory (I've been losing track of things I gotta do for a little while).
Alrighty folks, here's the dilly: my lovely girlfriend Amy's family is in serious financial trouble. To say that money is tight for them would be a severe understatement. So, in order to help I'm asking all of you to please buy commissions from me; until they're up on their feet again, any money I make from commissions will go to them. SO! See commission terms here & order!! [link] I'll do as many commissions as people want. Just understand it might take me a bit to get them out if I suddenly get swamped O___O

I am also opening up sales for 8.5"x11" matte cardstock prints, high-quality printed with a 6-color photo printer. Anything in my gallery you want, I'll make a print of it. $3 a print, plus $5 for shipping (USPS ground with a cardboard protective envelope). If you order multiple prints I'll combine the shipping, so it won't cost you extra at all. Send me a note with the headline "Print Request" with your name, address, and what work you'd like a print of. Once I've confirmed your order, send me the money via paypal and I'll send it out to you promptly.

PLEASE help my hummingbird out guys!

Update: Thanks so much to those of you who have already commissioned me; that much has already helped them out tons. They have groceries and such now! ^^ Please, keep helping out. I want to see them back 100% on their feet.

In other news, was the only one to enter my OVER 9000 contest, so he'll be getting the drawing, once he lets me know what he'd like.

--Commission Slots--
1: ~SleepingAeris sketching out lineart
2: ~AydenAoki Inked
3: ~Fukai-Mori Information received
4: Open!
5: Open!
Infinite slots open for Amy's sake, please help out!

Here is the info you'll need if you'd like to commission me!

I will only accept 5 commissions at any one time. In every journal I post from here on out there shall be a section at the bottom labeled "Current Commissions," detailing what commissions I am working on and their progress.

How this works is that you start from the Base Prices, and add from there based on what sort of commission you'd like. For example, for a full body sketch of Naruto you would start at 5.00 and add 5.00 since it's a Sketch.

Commission Prices:

--Type of Sketch--

Single Character, Bust: $5
What you get: Pencil drawing of one (1) character from the shoulders or neck up

Single Character, Torso: $10
What you get: Pencil drawing of one (1) Character from the waist up.

Single Character, Full-body: $15

--Additional Options--
Additional Characters +$1 per additional character for Busts, +$5 per additional character for Torso and Full-body

Ink: +$10
What you get: Smudge-free, inked drawing.

Ink and color : +$15
What you get: Full-color inked drawing, done either in prismacolor pencil or digitally in photoshop. Your choice. ((NOTE: Digitally colored drawings will be shipped out as full color prints, along with the original inked sketch))

Background: + anywhere from 1.00 to 10.00, depending on the level of detail and the type of commission.

--Shipping--
I charge a flat $5 shipping fee. This covers the cardboard mailer and shipping costs for the picture.

Process and Payment

To Commission me, send me a note on DA or an email at hubbabick@comcast.net with the subject "Commission" and the following information:

Name: (your DA username and/or first name)
Contact: (Email, DA account, or phone, NO IM!)
Type: (Bust, Torso, Full-body)
Ink: Y/N
Color: Y/N, Prismacolors/Photoshop
Characters: (how many of them)
Background: (Y/N)
Paypal Email: (Your paypal email here)

Character Information: (Give me all the information and description you can on the character, including personality if you like. If there are any reference pictures I can use, please link them here as well.)

Commission Information: (What sort of thing are you looking for? A certain mood, a certain expression? What do you want the character doing? Basically, what am I drawing here besides the character?)

Background: (If there's a background, describe it here and/or give me reference photos.)

Once I receive the payment, I will begin the work.

I only accept payment through Paypal. My email address therein is: hubbabick@comcast.net

Once the work is complete, I will send the full resolution high-quality image to the email provided (or in the case of Deviants, I can post it on DA if they would prefer not to give out their emial). The file will be in .PNG format unless otherwise specified. The image will be watermarked, however the print and mailed image will not.

Terms / Disclaimer

1.) All artwork is copyrighted to me, the artist, under the law immediately upon completion of the work. (If a copyrighted character is involved, the copyright holder obviously holds the legal rights to the character but not my art of him/her/it.)

2.)Commissions must allow for at least one month for completion. I am not a machine! As a college student and a martial arts instructor, I may have many other pressing issues to attend to and/or other people demanding my time. As such it is up to the customer to check up on the progress of their commissioned work. However often is up to the customer.

3.) A resolution will not be met through chargebacks.
From ages past to the moment of the very breath you now take, man has wondered at his own existence. In those moments when pre-civilized man was not fending for his life, those precious moments of quiet, surely even he wondered at the strange concept of “I”. Surely enough, he knew his purpose in life: to hunt and provide for his family. He knew his duty to his ancestors and his descendants: stay alive and continue the family. Then, following those interests, man pioneered agriculture.
With agriculture came civilization, and with civilization came two things: complexity and comfort. Complexity in that now one man’s duty to the people may be different from another’s; families might be larger for the abundance of food, and lives longer. Comfort in that not all had to toil or put themselves in danger to insure survival of self and kin. With comfort comes time, and with time, thinking.
It is in such times of comfort, the quiet moments experienced by all men, that we begin to contemplate the idea that has come to be called “the meaning of life.” What is my purpose? What is yours? What is ours? Who or what does that purpose serve? Why am or are I, you, we, and they here? At my last breath, what will I have amounted to? Will my life have been in vain?
Such questions are the lens through which the entirety of life, time, and truth can be seen. Under the scrutiny of these questions, no detail is too small, no happening in life pointless. Everything factors into the equation. One author, famous comedic writer Douglas Adams, argued that the whole earth was a computer whose whole function was to solve that very equation. Unlikely as that particular hypothesis is, it does give us an idea for the perspective to take when examining the meaning of life: a global and historical one.
In examining history, one Professor Ivey developed what he called the Universal Culture Pattern. This is essentially system of categories that can be used to identify the characteristics of a civilization by examining different facets of the civilization. The categories are Aesthetic, Social, Political, Intellectual, and Religious. From just a brief look at this list, one can clearly see how the meaning of life fits into this system – within each of these aspects a man or civilization may find the answer to those questions posed earlier. Therefore it is this system we shall use in examining the meaning of life.
The meaning of life has certainly been a topic for aesthetic creations throughout history. Artists often claim to be attempting to illustrate something of meaning, sometimes profound, or something of personal significance. Sometimes they are just creating out of inspiration, attempting to make a vision a reality. And sometimes, art is survival, the only way one can eke out a living. Now, aesthetic creation is one of the chief ways we understand history today, because the artwork of a time can reflect the world of that time.
For example, take the Venus figurines of pre-history. Certainly a beautiful creation of artwork in and of itself, each of these figurines has also found profound meaning attached to it. Historians have theorized that these figures may be depictions of a goddess of fertility or nature, illuminating the meaning the peoples found in those things through religion. Others have asserted that they were sculptures representing true people, even illustrating simple clothing made at the time.
For other examples, let us take the various potteries and such vessels created by any given civilization. Surely, these are practical things, but they are often also richly decorated and made beautiful. Some are even decorated with stories of the gods or great moments in that civilization’s history, Greek pottery being a good example. With aesthetic additions like this, a simple cup or vase can become a profound statement of religious truth, or a statement of the owner’s status, even both.
These things take on even further meaning in terms of the meaning of life when one sees that they were often buried with their owners, taking Chinese nobles or Egyptian Pharaohs for example. One can infer that these people drew great meaning in life from their status and possessions, to the point that they felt such things must go with them into their next life.
At this point it is obvious that one of the UCP categories connects seamlessly to the others. In examining the meaning of life in terms of aesthetics, we have already found bits of insight into religion and social structure. Social structure is definitely significant in terms of the meaning of life. One’s place in one’s society would certainly provide a decent answer to the question “what is my purpose”? Interestingly, social structure and placement therein has varied considerably between different civilizations. In China, for example, a philosopher would be thought very highly...

That's right, ladies and germs, I've finally made prints available. Only one or two are up right now, but that will increase as I update more. If you'd like any of my works to be a print, just hit the request and I'll put it up for sure.

Secondly, as is obvious we have broken the 6000 barrier, and I'd like some more suggestions for the kiriban/thank you picture. I've gotten some good ones, but I want to add to it.

C, my awesome freind has recently joined DA and uploaded some of her work. She's pretty talented for her age; she's got tons of potential. So be sure to go and give her some DA love!

Lastly I'd like to mention that it is very likely that I will open up commission lines soon. I'm going to talk with some fellow artists to figure out what my prices should be, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it. Having said that, I'd like to ask that no requests be made until I've opened up the lines, since I want to have the time to devote to the commissions.

Also, if anyone knows anything about sprucing up DA journals, please note me. I'd like to make some improvements.

Alright, folks, I've some ideas that I'd like your feedback on if you'd be so kind.

First of all, I've been thinking about opening up the lines for commissions, as well as prints. Now before that I have some serious updating to do with all the new artwork I've got, as well as artworks to finish beforehand. But regardless, I'm thinking of doing so. But I need to know:

a) If any of you, or anyone you know, would be remotely interested.
b) What sort of price range/system you guys would feel appropriate.

If I do this, I'm committing to it, but if no one's interested then I'm not going to bother making all the necessary life-changes.

Okay, moving on, as you can see my page is approaching 6,000. About this, two things to say have I (LOL Yoda). One, I need input for what you all would like as a thankyou picture. I'm always grateful for your support, and I want to show it in a way as to make you all happy. Second, I WANT OVER 9000 pageviews ASAP for the obvious reason of doing an OVER 9000!!!!!! picture. So tell me, what would you guys like to see in my page and gallery that would raise pageviews??

And, finally: Testicles. That is all.

The weather was beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky, a gentle breeze coming to cool my skin. Not to hot, not to cold, you know how that goes. Peace was in the air, and there not much noise to speak of. My kind of day.

I had heard her car coming into the driveway from the house and had come out to sit on the porch and wait for her. Time seemed to sort of stand still, as if the rest of the world stopped moving for a while just to let us have this last moment. As soon as that moment passed, I wouldn't see her again for six months.

We sat on the steps by the front porch and talked about pretty much nothing. All the while my head pulsed and swirled with all the things I wanted to say. Most of them had already been said not minutes earlier on the phone, but still. You know how it is when you love someone.

She knew it, too. She'd always known the feelings I had for her, every side of them. Many of them she reciprocated - one she didn't. I love her, she loves me. But anything romantic is one-sided in this relationship, and I'm the one holding that particular hot potato. Kinda burns.

But that's okay, I'm content. I've learned more about what it means to love someone, in all ways. How can I regret that? And she's been a best friend in a time I really needed one, and she'll be one when she gets back. Heck, she's even gonna write, so I'll hear from her.

She gets up and gives me a hug, and I hold her there just a little longer than usual. Not because I'm clinging, I know better. Not because I'm hoping for something that isn't there, because I know the romance isn't there. I just love her, that's all. And I want her to know.

"'Bye"

"'Bye"

...

And then she walked out of my life. At least for now.

Few minutes later, there I am walking my dog, and I look towards the sky and remember: it ain't over. Life goes on, and there's a life to live here. God's got something coming my way, and He's got His plan for her. Best I can do is pray for hers and face mine with a fire in my eyes.

Here I go...

Well, I've decided, I'm back. I love DA, and love posting my work. I won't be lurking much, or online much for that matter, since school and training and such take priority. Right now I'm fairly busy, two papers to research for and write, and a speech to give. Not to mention I'm cramming to memorize all of the ERWMA curriculum because I've failed to properly do so up unto this point, a shameful act on my part which I intend to set right.

In other news, I will be attending the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville next April, as well as manning an art booth. I am presently looking around for someone trustworthy to share the booth with, I've got a few prospects but if you'd like to be involved note me and I'll consider it.

Speaking of selling my art, I'm thinking I may open up some prints to be sold here once I fix up my gallery - I've got a lot of cleaning up to do there. I think I'll do all that once my current art projects are a little further underway. I also intend to begin accepting commissions soon, in the hopes of making a little extra cash and getting my name out there a little more.
Well, that about sums it up. God bless, folks.

So yeah, if you guys haven't noticed, my signature changes. A lot. About every year I make a new one, and I thought I was happy with the last one but now it's turned into this psuedo-Japanese thing. It's cool, and I like it, but for heaven's sake I need to just pick a sig and stick with it.

So you guys tell me, which one (if any) should I keep?
1. The japanese square one
2. The JAB cross
3. The JB one
4. Just writing my name
5. Come up with something better, blockhead!

I'm leaving DA, guys. Not because I don't love you, not because I don't enjoy seeing everyone's art -- really, it's just because I spend way too much time on the internet as a whole.

I'm sick of all the browsing I do. I haven't updated this place with art in months, even though I've done plenty. What's more, with all the erotic 'artists' here, I'm beginning to backlside into old habits, and this I cannot allow. It's written, "if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off". Well, DA, while a wonderful place, is undeniably full of erotic art, and it's impossible to avoid seeing. Seeing triggers endorphins which tell my body to look. Downhill from there.

What's more, I'm on my way to a new echelon in my life, a whole new God-given level I've never known before. I'm going to be training harder than ever, and the Spirit will do amazing works in me, if only I can break loose of everything that's keeping me down. And I've got to cut all idling out of my life to do so, so I'm more or less leaving the internet. I'm still on email, and I'll check Myspace once a week or so. ([link] that's me)

For all of my friends here -- nursenikki, velvetmaiden, cwhite02, auraine2, dchui, theycallmeskullman, messa, gooberbean28, zellion, savedbygrace, koz4christ, irishlady, and everyone else -- I love you all very much, and I would really love to keep in touch. Find me on Myspace, send me an email (hubbabick@comcast.net), I don't want to stop hanging with you guys.

Now -- I promised you all a thankyou picture for 4000+ hits, and I'm going to follow up on that promise. It'll be up in no less than three weeks, promised. I may even have one final hurrah done by then.

I will also leave my gallery up for you guys.

Maybe I'll return one day, when I can better manage myself on the internet. Who knows but God? Keep your watch on my page, and if I do return, you'll know.

Goodbye, Deviant Art. Godspeed.

-Jordan

Edit: Found a few scanned artworks that I never uploaded, and I figure I'll go ahead and do that for you guys, as sort of an extended thanks.

Also, I am considering continuing to upload art as it is completed (which, without other wasted time, should be significantly more often). But I just don't like the temptation to browse, favorite-surf, etc. whenever I log on here. It depends on how things go over the next month or so. If I do make that decision, I will post a new journal so you guys know.

Well, it's been a few days. I think I'll go ahead, if you lot don't mind. Very well, then. A nice jaw about theology it is for us.

Today, I want to talk about something that, I believe, isn't talked about enough. That is the Mind's Eye. Now I don't neccecarily mean one's Imagination - though that in and of itself is quite a powerful and useful thing, and from a spiritual standpoint is equally powerful. What I'm talking about is where the Spirit and Mind work together to pierce the shroud of the world and see things in new light, or to see things that one normally does not see.

You see, there is much more to this world than we know of - that much is certain. Obviously, there is God, but there is more. I believe there is an entire world of spiritual essence above and beyond our senses, or, at least, our superficial senses. What I mean is this. If you are familar with Infra-red or Ultra-violet light, you know that those are wavelengths of light (or colors) above and below what our eye can percieve. We know they are there - we can measure their energy and can observe the effects they cause. But we can't see them with our eyes.

Now, the way we detect these sort of lights are with machines that can measure the energy and frequency and, to put it simply, re-illustrate those lights at frequencies we can see. For example, infra-red technology lets us see images of the infra-red lights, only changed to shades of red so we can see them. So, by use of another "eye," we can see these frequencies of light on a level we can percieve. It is not an exact translation, but it is enough for us to understand. Right?

Very well then. Now, if there is a higher level of existance, a spiritual dimension of sorts (by demension I mean as we would say 3 dimensions, or 4 if you include time. So, it's a dimension beyond the 4 we comprehend), than it would follow that there is, possibly, a way to percieve it. A machine, another "eye," right? This is what I, and many others, call "The Mind's Eye." (of course, it has other names, like Third Eye and whatnot. You get the idea.)

Now, if the Mind's Eye it's anything like that infra-red machine, then it won't show us the exact thing, but an interpretation of it we can understand. In this case, it would be like something in ultra-violet, where the frequency must be lowered for us to see it. So, it would be simpler, or less powerful perhaps, than the real thing.

Now if this is true, that would explain why many visions people have had seem, in essance, no better than something that one could imagine. Indeed, I believe that the Imagination is perhaps a part neccesary for the Mind's Eye to work, or perhaps a biproduct of the Mind's Eye itself.

Let me give you an example with a vision I had once. It was during a time of extreme temptation, and I was on my last leg. I was, very truly, terrified, and all I had left was to pray and hope. My eyes were shut and I had layed down in an effort to get away by gettings some sleep. However, sleep wouldn't come, and even as I had this vision I tossed and turned.

I could see myself standind in a vast blackness, and in front of me was a man of hard, strong build, with skin as black as ash and eyes as feiry as coal. It seemed he was the force behind my temptation - I believe he was either a demon or Satan himself. Either way, I was losing my strength, and I called out to Christ. In that moment, the Lord Jesus stepped out from behind me, as would a friend in a simple street fight. Arms crossed, He told the infernal thing that He would not allow His child to be taken.

Suddenly, from behind there was a great vibration, as if raw power was shaking. It was simlar to being near a very powerful electrical current.I looked up, and I saw a beautiful but feirce angel descending. His wings did not move, they stayed extended. It was as if he levitated from his sheer power alone. His robes and armor were of white, green, and blue, and his two-edged sword was all in greens and blues of a metallic hue. At that moment, something in my mind told me that my mind's eye was showing me the Archangel Michael himself.

With a single fierce look, the angel pointed his weapon at the infernal creature and said something along these lines: "I have defeated you before, and I will again. Leave this child alone. Leave. Now!"

The demon (or Devil, whichever it was) remained a cocky attitude, and remarked something about the angel and the Lord getting theirs, and fled. Then, the Archangel turned and took flight, leaving a trail of power behind him. Before he did, he told me a little about himself, and a few things I needed to know at the time. As he flew, he stopped and shouted back to me something which to this day I cannot remember.

Now, this whole thing sounds not unlike a simple dream. But what I witnessed there in my mind was a true event...

I've decided to go ahead and talk about it, anyone who's interested will catch on.

I've just observed not but moments before writing this a very queer thing - fallen people are little more than playthings to demons. What I mean is this: to a demon, a Christian is an obstacle to conquer, a goal to reach. In this instance the entire concern of the demons is to distract us from God and seperate us from Him. However, it seems with anyone who isn't "saved," there is really only the matter of sadistic fun. It appears they just want to see how skrewed up they can make an unforgiven sinner, and in so doing make it ever more difficult for the Word and the Lord to reach them. I've observed that, once the person is secured in sin, it's really just a game to see a. how much sin they can steep them in b. how confused, but unaware of the confusion, they can make them c. how big of loop they can get their life in.

I came to this realization upon a brief examination of a person who was at one time a friend, and even of romantic circumstances. This was, of course, in my earlier days of Christianity when I was quite sure of myself and quite prideful. Thank God I've learned since then. But i disgress. This particular person has been very well decieved, and I greive for their soul - they are steeped in fornication and drunkeness, and yet they still seek spirituality of a sort, but almost as if it were nothing more than a means of entertainment or a subject for discussion. How confusing it is to me! It's amazing how blind the person is to the evil they do!

Worse still, through a gradual, intricate, and unfortunatley well-exectuted plan the demons have quite hardened the "patient's" (to use C. S. Lewis's term) heart against Christianity and God, and instilled a false sense of spirituality in the very act of self-indulgance and sin. I am sad to say that I can see that the demons used me and my relationship with the patient to this end. Were the patient to see where they are at without clouded eyes, they would see that they're life's going in a total loop in a continual search for satisfaction in things that don't satisfy. Yet, the conception the patient is convinced of is that of a greater understanding of what it takes to "live life to the fullest," to quote the patient, and a greater fufillment than those poor people who deny themselves these worldy pleasures. And this conception contrasts the very problems the patient is confused by and often complains of!

How sad it is to see a soul lost. I am presently attempting to re-establish contact with this person in hopes of maybe doing some good for the Lord in them. I don't know what I will accomplish, but I know for sure I won't accomplish anything if I do it of my own steam. This one needs the skill of a Carpenter to handle. However, should the Lord come through miraculously and rescue this poor soul it shall be a great victory indeed. I would hope that my fellow Christian soldiers out there would pray towards that end.

So, to finish, let me ask what others of you have seen of the spiritual realm, that is, of the spiritual forces at work in this world. We need not focus on demonic influence - indeed I'd much rather hear of Angelic or Godly affects. Depending on where the rest of you take this, that will probably be the subject of my next discourse.

So, give me some feedback or some input. Let's have a discussion, and God willing we'll learn some things and win some victories for the Lord.

I won't bother if no one wants to talk about it, but I find it quite interesing to talk about. I love talking about anything that concerns the Lord, really. And I've been reading C. S.
Hello, my name is Jordan. I'm representing this existance's Christian candidate for King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Every year, thousands and thousands of people are saved from the depths of Hell by Jesus Christ's efforts on the Cross. Sins are forgiven, miracles are worked, demons are expelled, all at the work of this man's hands.

Amung His contributions to the people are the Holy Spirit, which has enrichened and enlightened the lives of many, and the Grace of God. Other candidates, such as Buddha, Allah, and Bob, have stated that salvation is determined by works and by Law. But, if that is true, are we not all condemned, for we all have sinned and fall short of glory. Jesus Christ offers the Grace of God in place of this, which gives us the chance to continue living, to still be saved after we've made a mistake. He gives us a chance to repent. Is that not better than being condemed for one mistake?

Be blessed, and please, vote for Jesus.

This post is just to celebrate that I have just graduated from the 60 day Way of Purity course on Setting Captives Free [link]

Ever since my salvation one year ago the good Lord has blessed me and begun to change me and shape me into a Christian man. Until about 75 days ago, I was hopelessly addicted to pornography, and i commited sexual impurites almost daily. After one of my hardest falls yet, I cried to the Lord to deliver me once and for all. Lo and behold, the next day a Christian brother on a forum replied to a message of mine and directed me there [link] . Through this course, the Lord God has freed me once and for all from pornography's grip! Helleluja! Praise be to the Lord, the freaking cool God who was, and is, and is to come!!!!

w00t!!

On a side note, ~Rex-Mortis will soon begin posting his masterpeice of a comic strip "Zuchini for the Masses -or- A Little Less than Real, a Little More than World" The first strip is on his page now. Check it out, guys. It's hysterical.

God bless, guys!

Oh, and Lenoia, I don't think I'll be able to color your pic. The inks turned out really bad around the face and stuff, and the lines are too thick besides. I'm really sorry, I'll see if I can fix it when I get around to it.

Again, I'm really sorry I don't update or draw enough. I'm just not very responsible with it, and I feel really really bad about it right now. I mean, God gives me this wonderful talent, and I won't be responsible with it. It really hurts. I mean, sometimes I'm so inspired, and I just don't draw for some stupid reason, usually lazyness.

Pray for me, that I'd be more diligant about drawing and finishing it.

Goodness gracious me...

I need some prayer, man. I'm feeling pretty bummed, and I'm in the sort of mood where I start to beat myself up. I don't update this page enough, artwork or journals, so I leave you guys hanging all the time. I slacked off on my online RP that I was running and neglected to finish it. And now I feel like I've been a royal jerk to my friend ~waitin4him. It seems every relationship with a girl I get into (not even romantic, though this one almost was) I skrew up. They think I'm such a perfect guy, especially because of my faith in Christ, and when I dissapoint that I feel like I've let them down. Gosh, I'm so hard on myself. I never give myself any room, I put so much pressure on myself. ESPECIALLY when it regards other people and their feelings, or a difficult choice that I'm not sure what to do.

*sigh* ~waitin4him is coming over to my house tomorrow, and she's a mutual friend between me and my sis ~DarkSideSister . I had originally planned to go to my mom's office tommorow to do some work there (I work there when I decide to go, get paid by the hour. I just do grunt work, copying numbers and such) but then I found out she was coming over. I know she really wants to spend some time with me and ~DarkSideSister before school starts (next freakin' week). Now, I feel bad because twice before I knew she was coming over and did the responsible thing and went to the office anyway. Then, monday of this week my sis had her friend Alex over, and her brother is my friend and we decided I'd stay home and hang with him. Now, believe it or not I actually did this almost out of guilt for not staying home once or twice for ~waitin4him. Now, I have to choose to stay home or go to work. Either way I feel like I'll dissapoint someone, and all through this I'm trying to figure out what God wants me to do. Jesus, please guide me so I do what you have in mind.

Anyway, I just need prayer for that, and that I'd lighten up on myself and my mood would improve. Thanks guys...
