I have 42 pages due by the first week in June and I need some serious help flatting because of all of the other work that has piled on.

The catch, again, is that it's a back-end deal through IDW. My cut is small, but if we do see some dough from a movie deal, then be assured that I will pay you for your services.

The project is After the Fire, and it's available for pre-order and is in the new Previews for a August September release. This baby is coming out whether I like it or not :)

The con was a great experience in many ways and I learned a lot - this being my first time on the OTHER side of the table. It was great connecting with fans and chatting them up. Of course it helped that I had my lovely wife as my assistant with me. She really made things a lot easier. When doing sketches it's hard to connect with people walking by. She did an awesome job of getting people's attention and reeling them in.

Nanovor Hacked!, and Prank Week are both now on shelves, and I have to say that they look GREAT! I put some of my favorites from Prank Week up. I did the drawing, inking and coloring in that one. There should be some from Hacked! buried in my gallery somewhere :) In my opinion the ones in Prank Week turned out much better. And to think, I did them only a few months after the Hacked! ones.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Nick cartoon Avatar, I highly suggested you school yourself. It's an awesome show, and maybe the most entertaining cartoon I had seen in a long time. The wife and I got hooked on the show a few years ago, while we were 'just friends' and feakin' loved it.

The trailer just blew me away, and now I can't wait! Aaaaaaaaargh!

We went down to the court house like a good couple of God-fearing heathens, and got married by, I'm convinced, by Zedickus Zul Zorander. The ceremony took all of five minutes, but we couldn't be happier right now. It was still quite a romantic and serious moment.

Quick journal entry before my laptop poops out. First off I just completed inking chores on GI Joe Origins #10. This will be the first 22 page comic that I inked all by myself. Just like a big boy :)

I believe 29 was my first one inking. I just got more in the mail to ink, but I have to finish up some more strips that I'm penciling and inking for Simth&Tinker this week.

After that I should be getting pages in for the last issue of Nanovor. Issue 3 is done and #1 will be out this week or next on stands!

I have another busy week this week, with coloring issue #3 of Nanovor, as well as getting some comic strips together for the Hanover High school newspaper, featuring Lucas and Jacob.

Not only that, but family is coming in from Chicago to stay for the weekend, so some mad house cleaning is going to go on too.

I'm still coloring away on the Nanovor comic, which I believe is slated for August or September. I'll let you know when you can get your grubby hands on it. It's coming at you from IDW and Smith and Tinker.

I also finished the hellacious deadline that was for the young readers novel, Hacked! 30 illos, pencils and inks, in 1 week. It was super brutal, but everyone's happy, including myself, believe it or not :)

I'm really not that happy with how I started out, but I'm finding I'm improving as I go along. It also helps that I FINALLY got a Winsor and Newton brush that doesn't split on me. There's a nearby art store that actually stocks a lot of the stuff that I've been looking all over the place for (C-6 nibs for one)

My betrothed and I are going to be home owners! After a bunch of waiting around and taking it in the ass from the bank, they finally accepted our offer (i.e we buckled and offered what they wanted.)

It's a bank owned foreclosure, so it was a pain in the ass at times, but they FINALLY said yes. We're doing an inspection on Monday and more paperwork to follow, so we don't technically own it yet, but we're on our way!

We're so freaking excited it's retarded!

First off this SOE coloring job that I landed in June has been pushed back to about April - and even then who knows if it will happen. It suck 'cuz it pays pretty well and will be fairly easy work.

I ended up coloring the flier again, only I changed some stuff and colored it differently since things looked differently on the projector than it did on my MacBook - simply put it just wasn't dark enough for some things to show up. I went a little more extreme with it so people could see things changing. Otherwise it would have been too subtle.

I also got specifics on the teaching job at the HAAC: Tuesdays from 6-8 and classes start September 23rd. There are two 6-week courses back to back for the Fall and Winter, so that'll keep me busy on Tuesdays until the end of February.
