Sorry about lagging on the club, not sure when I can organize those freaking star things I was talking about in previous journals.. >_>

So anyway, Metal Gear Online's server is off.. D: And it's not coming back. There's a petition going around to bring it back. That sure is lame, the other day, I was talking to my boyfriend about MGO, and I went, "I wonder if it'll be up in like, 10 years? ... >_> .... NO. Sheesh, wonder why it was taken down though? Apparently, the moment it happened, there were about 2,000 people on it, too. So, the whole "it's inactive" excuse can't be used, because that's A LOT, figuring you have to have the disc for it, let alone a decent enough connection to play.

Time to upload some submissions. I'm proud of everyone for submitting stuff, this club is getting so popular

Horray for saying I'm not sure when to put something up, in which motivates me to do it.

I went through the gallery, and wrote up points for everyone. I noticed the one picture I made was all comic toned, so it's black and white, which my rule thing said that b&w stuff doesn't score as much as colored stuff, even though that took longer to do, so, basing points on stuff might be tricky, but I'm judging stuff on detail and such, and if you ever thing you deserve more points, just note me or something..

Cleaned up the journal pretty decently, like the joining rules, sends you to an older journal with the rules up.

More quick rules of earning stars.. >_> I'm just trying to figure it all out and get it organized. I'll later make the final RULES link for stars or something... >_> one that doesn't include the members listed down there and such.

One star: Four colored pictures, or ten sketchy/black and white submissions.

I have to make it a bit challenging, because I don't even do requests.. so it's like a bonus.. just for this club.. XD

if you submit 2 colored ones, and three black and white ones and what not, I'll tally it up, even keep a notebook of the information, that way you don't have to worry about making on colored versions or something annoyingly confusing, so don't worry about that.

Funny, all this talk about stars, when Major Raikov wears stars.. >:U

So, there's been this HUGE ordeal with the "Zhutay ownz u" submission, since it's a heavy edit of those Ragnarok sprites. So, my *NekoAiTorankusu account has been suspended, because I'm the only one they're actually disiplining for editing over something. It's so annoying, I'm not making money off of it, either, yet many, MANY people submit prints with the 3rd party copyright violation - but nothing is never done.
So, just a heads up, make sure you delete anything you have in your deviations, or else you'll probably be murdered for it. But whatever, you can still make them as much as you want, you just can't upload them here.

If you know of any Raikov fans, spread the word, I'd like this place to be more active, which I guess everyone wants that. I really wanna start up some-sort of contest, even if it's just to make a sketch or something.. not a contest that takes so long, those are so annoying D:

It's pretty delicious having a three day vacation from work, just because I had to work extra days since it's all Christmas stuff.

Anyway, Christmas is just about over, being as it's tomorrow, but I can still work up some sort of winter contest really. Only thing is, I need to know who will participate. I can't officially, because that wouldn't make much sense if I'd end up picking my own art as the winner. So anyway, if you're interested in a Raikov art contest, speak up about it. I need at least three people to make it a decent contest.

Hrm, I'm making a lot of artwork.. hopefully I can slap one of Raikov in here, y'know? I'm thinkin' there won't be any contests for a good long time, unless people ask for one. I, as well as anyone else, can still make some Christmas.. or.. Thanksgiving themed picture and submit it and what not, that'd be just as cool

Who plays Metal Gear Online? If you love Raikov that much, you'll totally blow your load from how much you can play and mess with him. You can make him talk, and he says such phrases like, "Ho ho, excellent!" and "PROTECT ME" which you'd probably wanna do.
