I've started a new project (and put Harvest Link to death). It's titled 3 of Diamonds. Anything more will be revealed in the comic itself.

Unlike all previous projects, I WILL actually complete this one. I've got it all scripted out to the individual comic, even the ending. One of the benefits of not having an internet connection.

That all sounds worse than it is, but I'm having a fight with the person to whom I usually complain about life, so I'm briefly breaking the plan to avoid talking about my personal life here.

Anyway, I've made solid progress on Harvest Link, and will probably be able to update reliably starting next Wednesday (since the drugs prevent me from finishing it tonight, and for some reason I'm intent on Wednesdays). I've technically finished most of the art meme, but I'm redoing half of it. I'm probably dropping Binsomniac for the time being to be resumed once I finish Harvest Link.

Well, it's been hectic, if that's any consolation.

Now for updates.

The "secret project" involving Nid, Rodast, and Coupon Man is on hold because of some painful difficulties I'd rather not get into.

First, however, I wish to tell a little story of the past few months. I'm the first to admit I rely too heavily on my mother for my age, so it should come as no surprise how long it took to get an appointment. As she was busy for much of the summer, and in no hurry to get a diagnosis (we had all summer, after all, procrastinator's honor) we apparently waited two months first. Problem is, the doctor was in no mood to be referring an insomniac to a sleep clinic. Here my father stepped in. Hearing the problem with my mother's doctor, he set up an appointment with the doctor he uses. Within 48 hours I was in the sleep clinic with my referral, waiting to meet with the sleep disorder specialist.

This is where I learned a few things. First, when a sleep specialist refers you to a sleep disorder specialist, you've got something that needs serious attention. Second, when a sleep disorder specialist says he needs to contact the head sleep disorder specialist in the state so he can either discuss your sleep disorder, or be directed to someone who can, something is seriously off. Third, there's a special $2000 watch that helps monitor sleep patterns or something of the sort, and it is typically given to patients for two weeks. If they give it to you for four weeks, something is going on.

Yeah... The doctor told me the specific sleep disorder I seem to have seldom shows up in people unless they are either blind or have suffered brain damage, so they've got no idea what's causing it in me. What's worse, because of the length of the study, I don't get to find out the results until a few weeks into college.

But yeah, I've been bitching about sleep difficulties for years, so I'd imagine reading about my complaining is about as interesting as some weird guy complaining about the weather. All weather in general, not just the usual trends.

Now for some good news. The contest deadline for Kingdom Competition has been extended, so I'll be able to make the full sized piece I wanted to, instead of cramming the rest of it in two cluttered pages.

And now for neutral news. I've noticed that pretty much no one of my watch list has commented on anything I've done for about two or three months, being surpassed entirely by two random people who stumbled across my gallery. I'm not trying to put anyone in an awkward position... after all, I've pretty much not commented on or faved anything from my watch list in months, I just find it odd, and it's fueling minor paranoia. My continued isolation also seems to lead to me assuming no one reads this, so I feel less concerned about politeness and modesty, which have pained me to no end with previous entries. Hell, I've not rambled like this since the last time I complained about my insomnia. Having destroyed the entry, I don't know when that was.

Well, if you've read all that, it only seems fair that I actually say something that means anything. I haven't told too many people this, but I'm gay. Thus far, I've just told older brother Sarenokai, sister-in-law Fly, Eowyn-UT (which is why we stopped dating), and my younger brother and sister. Guess I didn't expect this to be how I would tell MKava, but it seems unlikely I'll be able to contact him through other means in the immediate future... Whatever, I'm still a lover of all things perverted, so don't think I like Yuri any less than I used to.

I may only be writing this because of how tired I am. I usually don't allow myself to write this kind of stuff, but perhaps there is another reason. My sleep disorder is nothing new to me. I often would, in all the years of my life, get lonely. Only two weeks out of a month am I in a sleep pattern one could call normal. The other two, I hardly see anyone. Not friends, not family, they're all asleep. I can't just drive off to MKava's to play video games with him (although I'd like to). One, I can't drive at night, two my car is somewhat of a family car. That's why I'm shy. Years of either not being awake when other people are, or being painfully tired at school, each day more depressing than the last.

I don't know who'll read this, ultimately. Saren and Fly are so far behind because of ToP that they won't likely read it for weeks, if that. Eowyn-UT hasn't been on (that I know of) since we broke up, and I haven't heard from MKava in quite a while.

I won't hold it against you if you don't comment. I have difficulty commenting on journal entries, and difficulty responding to comments. Same thing with every social aspect of life. I never remotely understood social people, but certainly envied them. This is especially true in emotional manners. Anime conventions, the cure for insomnia.

Unfortunately, I failed to find my one souvenir. I don't refer to the nearly $X00 of anime and manga as souvenirs, as I would have bought those someday anyway. That may be because I failed to find an EdXEnvy doujin (despite more than 100 of EdXRoy). At least I found a CC doujin. If you don't know what CC is, I don't wish to be the person to tell you.

On another note, I had a great deal of fun. And I was made to feel incredibly guilty when I went to the "Anti-fansub/scanlations" panel. But mostly fun.

Perhaps best of all was the Artists' Jam. I got to meet eight fascinating people, six who exchanged DAs with me. I'll probably post their icons once I finish contacting them, and the DoF RPers.

Ah yes, one more thing. While there, I finished a few TPAACA drawings. I haven't colored them yet, so it'll be a bit before they're submitted. They're Cedra, the princess of light, and Jiin, who's hard to explain. He's kinda the villain, but I guess he's more like Xellos from Slayers than anything. Although Jiin is undeniably evil.
