Now I have new new computer but I keep it disconnected from the net to keep it running in tip top shape and avoid viruses. This one I bought the other day is for the Internet. Under the windows 98 I had to deal with a computer running slower then maple syrup! So now hopefully it will make things easier on me not to deal with problems as much. ;D

It's less then a week after my friend Steve discovered that my new XBox 360 was broken! It's frustrating when you see an investment break so quickly... So Today we took a ride up to the local Game Stop to trade everything in. I was lucky enough I was able to get a PS3 for the trade! After playing it today I realized the 360 was a big big mistake! I Bought F1 Championship Edition and it was just amazing! The detail was incredible! the physics were spot on and fun to drive! I really can't wait until Gran Turismo 5 Prologue come's out next month in North America, despite it being a "Demo" of sort. It still looks like its worth the price. $39.99 in the us. So a fair warning Stay clear of the 360! It may be cheaper but cheaper isn't always the best course!

The last 24 hours has been difficult to say the least as I mentioned that my girlfriend and I have decided to separate. Initially It was tough, as it was close to 4 years this may that we had been in this relationship. I wasn't sure how to feel. I was shocked at the news and then I thought I could do some things to get my mind off of it, which caused it to hit me all at once. I did my best to go to sleep which all I could think about was how things went wrong or if it was me or the usual things that can fester in your mind during a time like this. I then did the wrong thing by calling her this morning thinking with my heart and not my mind, which almost caused things to get worse. I felt bad at what I had said and realized where she was coming from with why she told me the way she did. At that point I had to make amends for my pig headed thinking. I was lucky I was able to contact her with my apologias in which when I called her again, I was in a better position to understand why thing turned out the way it did. I hope that now we can get back to being best of friend and we can continue to be there for each other just as before. Having fun, enjoy life, and support each other in life's endeavors. In closing I want to thank you Michelle for the last 5 years that we've been together and for the last 3 and a half as a couple. I truely believe we both had fun and enjoyed it the best we could with what little time we had and will continue to as friends.

Cheer's to the start of a wonderful friendship

Your friend and best bud.
Jeff

It's been a while since I posted a journal entry. But I just had to write about my entrance into the next generation of video game consoles. Anyway on Friday I went out and got the Xbox 360 Elite which is the most expensive one, But it's worth every penny! First the Graphics are incredible! For example in one of my new games NASCAR 08, the shadows slowly creep across the track as the race progress, the reflections on the cars reflect everything in the environment including the pitcrew members on pit road, The smoke and dust from spinning cars swirls around the cars as they pass through. Another good thing about the Version I got it comes with a lot goody like HD connections for when I get a TV that can play HD, a Head set for Xbox live communications, a wireless controller which is beyond awesome as I always hated dealing with the damn cord that would bind up and just get in the way, Ethernet connections and 120 gig hard drive. Plus 2 full games Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance as well as demo games and videos on the hard drive it self.

I also bought some games to go with it
NASCAR 08
WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 08
Call of Duty 3
F.E.A.R

All awesome games on their own!

Well I just got back from a night of fun at the races at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, MA. I'll recap today, well now yesterday. It started at around 10am when My 2 friends Nikki and Jessie decided they were not going and tell me at the last minute. My girlfriend also couldn't go but I believed her on the reason she could not go. So it was down to just me and my friend Steve. At around noon we went to stop & shop to pick up needed supplies so we wouldn't have to rely on expensive track food. So from there we packed up and got going at 1:30pm. Since this was the first trip to Seekonk without someone that knew the way I had to come up with a map to get us there. Now we did do ok getting there only going the wrong way once. So by 2:45pm we had arrived at Seekonk speedway, and despite being early the line for tickets was quite long. So after a 45 minute wait we finally made it into the speedway and for someone who has not been there in 4 years it's a sight for sore eye's lol. After we found a place to set up our spot we were in for another wait for the event to start which stated at 5pm. So to open the event they had a sky dive display in which they landed in the infield. Once those were completed it was time for the spectator drags, which allows any one with a car to race it. The Format was 2 cars would go out at a time and run for 1 lap and the winner move on to the next round until there’s a winner. Now I know it does not sound interesting. But it does draw you in when you car cars that are paired with cars that from the looks they would be blown away. But they end up winning. But moving on next was actual racing from the hobby stocks which were fun to watch if you like door to door action. After they finished there race it was time for the enduo drags, which were the same as the spectator drags but with demo cars plus they ran 8, 9, and 10 at a time. After they got to the Enduos which were races using demo cars. There is not stopping the races for anything except if some one got hurt on the track. This happened twice with one car almost getting upside down. After the enduos they had the fireworks display which was awesome! But a few minutes after the fire works it started to rain which was a surprise because there was no rain in the forecast. Luckily the rain didn't last and we got the Figure 8's going. To those that don't know what figure 8's are, they are races that take place on a track configuration that resembles a #8 which creates an intersection for them to crash at. Also the track has humps in all fore part of the figure 8 in order to get the cars air born. They were one of the best shows of the night lol. To end the night they had the 100 car demolition derby which was decided when there was only one car still running. During the demo they had to red flag the race for a few cars catching on fire, even on car catching his wheel on fire! So once that was over Steve and I took a lap around the track to check out the wreckage lol. So on the way back we really got lost. I don't know if I was following the directions right of what but we could not take the back roads back. So we tried the highway which somehow got us back home. So now after this long and eventful day it's time for I to pass out and get a good night sleep......zzzzzzzzzzzz

Well, Sadly the wrestling community has suffered another loss of a great "wrestler" Chris Benoit. But in light of the nature of his death and of his wife and young son. Can I, nor any of his fans look at him in the same light again? With the news of the death being called a murder suicide, It's hard to understand what could have driven him to kill his Wife and son from what seemed out of the blue...... But the fact is that is he is a murderer and that he took the easy way out. It is hard to think that this could take place at the hands of someone who you watch and respected for years! But to me all that he had accomplished in his career is tarnished and his legacy is down the crap hole! I feel bad for his wife's family for loosing a daughter and Benoit's family for having to deal with the loss of a young kid and loosing a family member they thought they knew. But to the wrestling community as a whole this stings a whole lot worse then the sudden loss of Eddie Guerrero or the tragedy of Owen Hart. Because It was not an accident and it was not a sudden health condition this was murder and that cannot be forgiven! So I end this blog with my feelings, Beniot....... you were a great wrestler but you are as a person a waste!

Well, this is my first journal entry on here but it's not a real happy one. On Wednesday I lost cable TV. In retrospect I guess I lost only like 7 or 8 things I really watched on TV. But I did loose some things that are important to me, mostly NASCAR! Under the old TV package of last year I would only miss 4 or 5 NASCAR Nextel cup races during the whole season. But with this year TV deal NNC has almost the whole summer on cable and the next races that will be on broadcast TV are in September. So until then I must find other outlets to get my fix sorta speak. But Idk I guess when you've had Cable for as long as I did it would be a culture shock to have only 4 channels to choose from and that's on a good day. But hay I have tons of Dvds so I guess it would be the glass half full analogy there lol.
