She's a pretty insightful animal for only being three years old. The tale of the Mexican Grey Wolf in the United States is a sad story in which we basically wiped them out. Yet, they survived. A reintroduction effort has been started to keep them wild and there are about 40 animals in scattered packs in Arizona and New Mexico. There are two animals that have taught this lesson. The first was Bob, a Mexican Grey Wolf at the Wild Canid Center in Eureka, Missouri. I've always been told that there is a fine line between courage and stupidity but I've begun to question whether or not that is true . Is the brave person the one who didn't think that they would be hurt? Or simply the one who didn't step back with the rest of the people in line? To me courage is not a lack of fear, if you are not afraid when you should be, that means that you are insane, not brave. In truth, I feel that courage is doing what needs to be done no matter what the costs to yourself, bravery is doing good even if it is not the popular thing to do. Courage is not la </media:text>

It's something that can make a good day into a great day and turn a bad day around. Doing something nice for someone just for the sake of doing it can change the world. Maybe not the world as a whole, but the world for one person, if just for one day. Is it worth the cost of having to pick up the pieces and start over again? Maybe, sometimes it's in those pieces that we find what is truly meaningful, sometimes we find nothing. The point is that we tried our best, which i </media:text>

School hasn't exactly been fantastic and I'm starting to fall short in my photo work. Part of the problem is that the photo club I go to favors the artistic, studio side of photography or photo manipulations. That's just not my style, I am more the capture a special moment in time or get a shot of an animal doing something interesting. I'm not going to change that for anybody. I like the challenge of having to get the photo or it's gone. Right now, I feel like I need a time out from life, instead I'm gearing up for round 2 of this slugfest. <media:text type="html"> Well, the shed is coming along nicely. Hit our second set back of the project. Just a little bit of advice: Don't put a nail into a wall strut unless the wall is exactly where you want it. It's kind of a pain trying to get a nail out of a very heavy wall when you shoot it in there with a nail gun. So we got the third wall up and in place. Hopefully, it will be done by next weekend. </media:text>

<media:text type="html"> Some people have spring cleaning. I tend to have spring projects. This year I'm building a shed in the back yard. It's just a floor and two walls now but it's coming along nicely. One thing I learned doing things like that is that there are always set backs. I had my first one today, wrong size 2X4's. The people at Lowes mislabeled their lumber. So instead of 2x4x8s we ended up with 2x4x8'8'' and 3/4 and didn't notice until we were putting on our siding. It'll still work so nothing to worry about. </media:text>

I really shouldn't care, I have other options but I don't know...

Anyway, I've been emo enough. In other news, I have another shoot scheduled for tomorrow at the SFWS.
