So recently I was just caught up in the shoe making thing, it's a very fun process to complete a shoe. Like when you start, you come up with 10zillion themes of what you'd want to draw and then eventually you skim through them and get one that you like the best. Just like that I got to sit with a friend (Hamza) and then decided on a theme: Japan.

The over all painting process wasn't time taking at all, It's just a matter of a single click of a mind - the idea that hits your mind of how the design should be like and once you translate the idea onto a paper nothing's left then except for the fun part. Update: Auto image resizing serves a large part of the deviantART community, but there is definitely a certain segment of the community it serves less.

We were moving quickly when making these changes and shouldn't have rolled them out without better foresight.

We have since reverted things back to the way they were.

We'll continue to work on this project so that it better serves the entire community. Again, our apologies to those we upset. :heart:

Auto-scaling so that you don't have to get your lazy ass scroll down isn't helping, since most of the deviations' 'download' is disabled, and let alone resizing, There is a loss in quality too. What dA is doing is that they re-save your image, re-size it and then upload it. Take a look at the Preview of my Devil Much?
