Haha, wow... I'm sorry about my absence, I decided to take a well-needed break. My break was mainly about getting everything at home sorted out, researching and doing study materials, along with studying for the exams that just ended today, (Thank God!) and I also had to clear my head and start over on some of the requests that I aim to have done by the end of next week. (Sorry, they are taking so long, I just really needed a break.) Heh, I should have said something, huh? Oh well, I hope you all can forgive me for not giving you a heads-up on me leaving. ^^;

:noes: Ugh. Don't you just hate exams? Worst part is, another exam is popping up around next week.

Anyway, now that I am back, I am more than ready to swing at anything, anyone throws me. As of right now, I am NOT taking any requests, due to the fact that I still have to finish a couple that I promised people a month ago that I'd do. Once again, I'm sorry for the wait, but I am aiming to post them by the end of next week, so keep a look-out for them!

If you do have a request for me, write it down so you won't forget about it, because I will gladly do a request for you once I am completely done with the others! :) Or, if you don't have a pencil and a piece of paper handy, you could always just tell your request in a comment for this journal! I will write it down, and start working on it as soon as possible. :D

She was the kind of person who you would have never thought something as drastic as cancer could take control of her life. She was a very athletic girl, belonging to the Cheerleading Club, Gymnastic Club, 4-H club, and the Tennis Club. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart along with her dog, Cleo and her horse, Summer. She lived life to the fullest, knowing that one day she wouldn’t be able to any longer. Even though she was diagnosed, she never gave up hope, she believed that she was going to get better and that she would be yet another cancer survivor. She was a fighter, through and through.

After two successful treatments of chemo, they had finally thought that Caila had concurred her disease and was ready to get back to being a normal teenage girl. She was cancer-free for a year, before they found the starting of a small tumor in her femur. From there on, Caila’s condition got worst, that small tumor started to spread out to every bone and organ of her body. Before she knew it, the cancer slowly found it’s way into her brain, causing her to lose almost all of her functions, including speech, movement, and sight. She lay in the hospital for weeks on end, before finally getting the permission to go home with her family to enjoy her last few weeks. She died peacefully in her own bed on January 14, 2008, with her family around her and her dog, Cleo on her lap.

Caila’s favorite saying was, “Never, ever give up.” She lived that saying. She never did give up, until that final, painful breath.

We all know that she is in a better place now, where she no longer has to suffer from the pain that her cancer has put her through. She will surely be missed.

I’m sorry if you thought that this was a waist of time and that it doesn’t have anything that deals with you, but I felt the need to post this. I just think that we should all take Caila’s favorite saying and live by it as well. We should never give up, no matter what life throws at us. We should stand strong and if we get knocked down, we should just brush ourselves off and get right back up. It would mean so much to me if you could just possibly remember to keep her family in mind and in your prayers. I thank those few of you who took the time to read this.

2007 was a tough year for me, but I am so glad that I had my friends to fall back on. This year was filled with tears, pain, love, changes, and new friendships. I just hope that next year will be different, I will learn from my mistakes and restart my life.

I hate exams. They are so exhautsting. I don't know about you, but they wear me out. :sleepy: Not to mention, that I also have a cold, so that makes it ten times worse. I get headaches and migraines and start to feel all woozy. *sighs* It is just bad.

I hate to do this to you all again but, I am going to have to hold back on the requests that are still unfinished until all of the exams and studying and crap is all over.

I have run into another problem. This year for Christmas, as you know, we are returning to Surrey, England and I have informed you that I was taking my laptop. Well, that is still true, but I may not have as much free time as I thought I would, with all of the celebrating and what not. *sighs* So, it may take me awhile before I upload any of the work that I have completed.

On a happier note, it is snowing here! :laughing: I love the snow! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside! It also reminds me that Christmas is near and that I still have so much more things to do before it actually comes.

I hope all of your Thanksgivings were great and filled with turkey! XD

I had a pretty good Thanksgiving, other than the little fight that broke out. Oh, it wasn't just any fight, it was a food fight! You see, every Thanksgiving, after my family eats, we make an entire empire of cookies! Millions and millions of cookies! Well, not really millions, but you get the point! Anyhoo, our friends from Surrey, England came over to celebrate the holidays with us, so naturally they helped! Bre, my hyper-active, psychotic friend was helping me finish the cookies, while our parents took a break.
Well, Bre thought it would be funny to throw the sticky, icky tasting cookie dough at me! And guess what? Yup, that's right. SPLAT! Right in my face! I just stood there and blinked a few times before, without thinking, grabbed a handful and chucked it at her. Alas, the Great Food Fight had begun.
To make a long story short, guess who had to clean up the whole kitchen/living room/hallway... right again! Me! And I didn't even start it! Bre got off easy, she got a "You should know better" lecture and got to go home. While I was stuck with the mess! *sighs* Gotta love friends and cookie dough. XD

Yeah... sorry for the boring little story. You really didn't have to read it. I juts felt like sharing it with who ever cares! So, I thank any of you who read this far!

I am so sorry for the long wait, but I have been swamped by school (exams), work, and family affairs. I feel so horrible that I am making you all wait for your stories. Truly, I am.

Well, now that exams are over and that I am taking a break from work, I will be working, nonstop on the stories, until they are finished and hopefully up to your standards!

I am shooting for them to be up before the 10th, but who knows with today's technology. By the way, if you didn't know, my computer has been acting up and going all spazzy on me... -_-

Good news! I get to go to NYC again!!! WOOOOOOO!!! :dance: How is this good news for you, you may ask... well... I don't really know... but who cares, just telling you incase you want to know why my updates are so late!

Bad news time! Okay, well... My laptop is kind of... *cough* broke... (I didn't do it)! So, for all of you smart kittens and cubs out there, you know what that means... but for some of you that are a little on the slow side... like me... *JUST KIDDING* ... I will not be able to update or post the requests that I have done. T_T

About those requests... I have a few done, but the majority of them need to be re-done, checked over, and then posted. Oh, and I feel really bad, because some of the requests that I got are no where near done... because... I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED THEM YET! TT__TT

So, I am sorry for all of those people who requested a story, and that it is not up yet... *hangs head in shame* I will try my best to get them up! *ish determined* I'm coming back on Monday... so it really isn't that long of a wait...

Oh! Oh! Oh! More bad news! I broke my wrist! *nods* Yup, that is correct! So, along with not getting a lot of my requests done, I can't go to dance! T.T
