But hopefully its going to get better if i can do this 10 page research assignment by friday. Then theres the whole college thing...... Stress is making me depressed. Argue if you will, but I will admit that I'm going to keep windows on my computer.


Anywho, to the beginning of this story; Many many viri and a lot of neglect to my computer resulted in something getting in and wreaking havoc on my XP's registry, so after many hours of trying to cure it i decided that i would take the easy way out and just blank the HDD and reinstall windows (i just save everything to my xhdd anyway, so wasnt losing anything).
So while I was procrastinating the reinstall process, i installed Kubuntu and Ubuntu to my computer. At first they were very confusing since i only had a little familiarity with them from many many months before. After a little fiddling with both, i found both to be much more appealing than windows.

I wont lie, my favorite part about Linux is that it has multiple 'workspaces' that you can utilize as, basically, one large windows or mac screen that has multiple areas. Think of it as having four of the same monitors on one computer and being able to keep each separate and running independent from the others unless you so wish to transfer something between them. It's beautiful and much more organized. (yea, i understand that probably made no sense

Either way, I might think about becoming more active on here (though not by much) when I get settled into my new configurations. Especially since it's now my summer vacation and I have until my birthday (also the first day of school) as free time.

What im getting around to saying is that I want to write some very informative persuasive essays. One topic that I really believe needs to be known is that sex is NOT the highest form of love between people. This among many various topics would compose most of my papers.

My question for all of you: I do believe that I could make a better persuasion with help from others. If anyone is willing to help me in research or review, I would greatly appreciate it. Another way to help is by suggesting subjects that I could write about.

I'm getting some nibs for my tablet tomorrow so I can actually use it (HURRAY!).
So if i end up somehow drawing anything slightly cool, It'll likely be posted to dA. I'll probably make a folder for it in my gallery so It doesn't take up a lot of space.

guess what.
My mom wouldn't take a look at them and obviously didn't care.
Now next time she says I don't tell her about stuff like this, like a few months ago when fry's electronics had basically first comp i mentioned for 250 and she wouldn't listen to me that it was a steal, I can tell her that I DID try to get her to look at it. I even printed the info for each computer up and gave them to her, and she never said anything.




The worst part?

They're both sold out. So, that means no new computer for me unless I can find another deal that good.


Somehow I knew this was going to happen. It always does. Makes me feel a bit...neglected. My entire family things its bullshit for me to want a new computer...but I'm the only person IN my family that knows how to USE one. So I'm like.. WTF?





On a somewhat lighter note, I found soundtracks for Digimon seasons 1-5. Listening to some of it right now. It's a 1.56Gb download, but totally worth it for any Digimon fan.

Also, WTH!? Does anybody know where to find subbed episodes 48-53 of Digimon Adventures 01? It's like they don't exist.

I know that I don't get many comments as it is, but I'd happily have two or three critics total as opposed to 300 useless comments.

As far as backlogging is concerned, I have journals from the 14th that I need to read still, and deviations from as far back as July 19th.

Though I'm still debating whether or not to just forget about dA. With photography I think that I got more critic and useful tips from /p/ or 4chan.org. That's really saying something too.


I don't like the layout of my room at the moment and want to change it, but that will take a while and im sure that halfway through im going to lose interest in it and my room will be a total mess for a few weeks.

I've got a ton more ranting that I would like to do, but...what, the three people that read my journals, im sure they you don't want to hear any more.

finally, i need to kick my self in the ass (pardon the expression) and get to work. i started my appeal letters and job application WEEKS ago, and do you think I have gotten around to finishing either of them? OF COURSE NOT! So right now I have 4 credits, 4. FOUR. I should have 16 by now. If I get credit with my appeals and don't fail anything else, then I should have the bare minimum to graduate. Not that I'm totally ecstatic about graduating, I don't find a real point in the whole dressing up and waiting to get a fake piece of paper that you later exchange for a paper that says you were able to put up with high school and not kill yourself in the process.

that takes me to the topic of this @$&#ing school(so much for ending my rant huh?). 1 We have a "principal's trailer". 2 Most of the teachers that I have had are learning the criteria of the class WHILE they teach the class. My Welding teacher for example: He was just learning how to weld WITH the class. AND WHO'S BRILLIANT IDEA IS IT TO ALLOW FRESHMEN INTO A WELDING CLASS!? And Mrs. Gray, she's been retired for three years and came out to teach (digital) Photography, of which she knows nothing. And for the love of -insert your preferred religious icon here- we have an ANALOG photography book that we are using for a DIGITAL photography class. Working backwards to my digital publishing class: WHO IS IT THAT MARRIED THEIR COUSIN AND GAVE BIRTH TO ALL THE MENTALLY INCAPABLE PEOPLE IN THAT CLASS!? I give all props to mentally handicapped people because even they are more capable than my digital publishing class. I SWEAR TO -insert again- THAT I HAD TO SHOW SOMEONE HOW TO PRESS THE POWER BUTTON TO TURN ON THE MONITOR! The teacher in there is (again) another teacher that is impressed that I can press such simple hot-keys as: The windows key, control+alt+delete, alt+tab, shift+tab, and the most basics of Control+s, control+o, and control+x/c/v/z. Little does she know I've managed to put Firefox onto my computer and run it successfully (imagine how impressed she would be if she found out). Nearly everyday she asks me and my little brother (Keith) if we want to join SKILLS USA which is a club that, ironically, focuses on different types of skills. She thinks that we 'would be just such an amazing addition to the digital publishing team' and 'are capable of showcasing [our] great talents'. In other words: she's noticed that there is a total I.Q. level of about 10 throughout the rest of the class.

Anywho, rant time is over now. My legs hurt, my eyes hurt, my fingers hurt, and I think I'm getting carpal-tunnel because of this freaking QWERTY keyboard. I'll probably switch back to Dvorak soon.

Living with 4 smokers (my mom, her boyfriend,

any form of health. I've had a cold now for nearly two weeks.

I didn't want Jacob's book to end yet. To be honest i have never really liked jacob before this, but now i totally love his book the most. *taste the rainbow(random dane cook shuffled)*. I understand his persona more now that i have been 'inside his head'.

I hear that there will be a book of Edward's P.O.V, but what about Jacob? I mean, We all pretty much know what Edward was thinking and doing, but Jacob is a little neglected. Heck, even Seth or Quil (sadly, mayyyyybe even Leah) would be a little more interesting. Now i still support my homies a.k.a. Vampires, but I guess it might have something to do with me finding my fursona that i have a new view of the Wolves.

Anywho, I will end this journal right there, after i say that The Misanthrope is a good play, and if you ever have the opportunity to see it or read it, i suggest doing so. Its not very long, but its quite good.

I still have to look through the almost 1.5k of photos that i took when i was in arkansas, hopefully i get around to doing that soon. There are some really cool photos that i could probably digitally treat to make look even better. so keep an eye out for those.

Meanwhile i will try to submit a photo now and then, but im not really working on the 100 themes for now. Maybe if i get back into graphite work i can finish the themes with that instead of having to take photos and get even more work on my load.

Guess ill end this journal there and until next time, i wont be writing journals.

Any suggestions?

I really would like that Firefox messenger bag they have over at their store ( [link] ). But I don't have the 60$ to buy it. I swore that I would get a new bag before junior year starts, seeing as i have been using the same bag that my friend killed in 8th grade. If I don't get a new bag, this will be my 4th year using the same, dead, falling apart at the seams ( all to literally ) bag.

Back to FF3, any suggestions on what I could do?

my day has been really strange, early morning yesterday i kind of was absentminded and cut a part of my keyboard circuit, so from there i tried to manually fix it by taking apart my laptop. not a good idea i guess.... So i got my keyboard fixed and put everything together, then dumb me forgot to connect the display to the rest of the laptop so i had to turn it of and open it all over again and connect that, and then it still didn't work....>.> then what i did to the keyboard kind of broke off so it was useless...it hates me i guess..... so i play around with it for a while and it makes me mad so i just go to bed, i sleep ALL day, then i think, 'hey, even if i get the display working my password needs to be put in, and i cant do that.' at which time i smack myself.

So its like, 8:30 pm, when i finally get this awesome idea. If i go get my old monitor from the shed and plug it in, theoretically it should work unless i killed my graphics card (which i never knew i had till i found it taking my laptop apart..-???-).

and then, again i thought of my keyboard, and i got a greater idea. Run over to officemax, use the rest of the money that i was going to use to buy fangs, and buy a crappy usb keyboard that need to be installed to work, that was i can log in and actually use my computer! I go wake up my mom and have her take me to officemax, 10 minutes before they closed.....again... lol. So i go straight to the keyboards (where i get really mad that they never have any Dvorak keyboards, only qwerty >.>'' and look for the cheapest one they have, it was 19.99$ and ugly as all hell, but it was usb and didn't need anything installed. I go pick it up, my mom looks at it and i guess she found this nice wireless desktop set, somewhat nice keyboard and a mouse that was not as nice as the wireless mouse i already had,
and it was on sale for 59.99$ and orig 99+$ so she says that she will pay the difference so that i could get it if i wanted. I wasn't sure because wireless might need to be installed... but it was on sale, i could just bring it back later if it didn't work and get a different one that didn't need to be installed.

so i get the keyboard and mouse for 40$ as my mom pays the rest. Really, im kind of glad that i did too....

but after i get home with the keyboard/mouse, i have to help my mom's boyfriend try to set up our wireless router because his stupid vista laptop isn't wanting to let him connect to the router... his laptop died before he got it done, so it was encrypted with a password that i didn't have, >.> i dislike him very much... but around 2am i finally realize: if i can get the router unplugged from the living room and take it into my room and connect it with the Ethernet cord, then i could remove the encryption^^ so i do that, because i cant move my laptop..... v.v it overheats in less than a minute now for some reason... so now at 3am im here, typing on my new wireless keyboard and using my old wireless mouse .. and in a few minutes im going to post this as a journal and as a reply to Draikinator, then I'm going to try to run WoW and see if my laptop dies from it... and if it doesn't, ill be turning up my fan and pwning some newbs!

4) get new phone with insurance
5) study for finals
6) TALK IN GERMAN TO MOTHER WHEN SHE ANNOYS ME, or anyone else.
7) take more pictures and experiment with photoshop more.
8) MAKE A FREAKING CALENDER!
9) get a job
10) look thru my 50+ books that are just laying on my couch and find the one that has the reciept to my headset that doesnt work. ooOOOOrr. get my headset out and see if it works.
11) paint my room with a paint that will allow me to use pencils on it.
12) (or 11b) cover entire room with random drawings
13) buy new pencils, erasers, and other art tools.
14) go to my counselor and see if i can get german III and IV in my schedule for next year
15) completely re arrange my room. (half there)
16) start driving
17) start helping the environment by driving less and other stuff (hopefully 16 comes first)
18) start typing right, this means using more then just my right thumb, indexes, and middles and the ocasional ring.
19) decide if im going to the fair (thats like tomorrow that i would go, or sunday maybe)
20) buy kunai

22) buy matting stuffs
