My car is dead, transmission is toast and needs to be replaced.
UPS owes me 1,200.00 bucks for a computer they busted to pieces.
I'm getting a second job starting TODAY at a mechanic's.
My mother is in the hospital and isnt doing well at all.

Probably several things I'm forgetting and leaving out, but all of my projects here are utterly on hold or canceled until I get the time or motivation to even touch them.

Also, never ship UPS.

Lastly, tired of people saying they're my friend and acting otherwise, take me off your damn buddy lists.

That being said commissions resume here shortly, almost got two finished and another two lined up.

I am to be promoted to AGM here at work shortly, soon as it gets approved with higher ups anyways.

My long lost half brother of 12 years ago got in contact with me recently, caused several problems with me here at work and at home, as well as threatening my family ect, ect...

Today I signed a harassment warrant and a summons for him to appear in court and have a Judge tell him off.
My mother has also filed harassment charges and a restraining order on him on her end.

Somewhere in the middle of this crap we possibly have someone related to my brother's mess impersonating a police officer, so thats more fun.

The guy went and sent me a bunch of emails here on myspace and in the process of filing my harassment suit myspace deleted his account. So that makes me a feel a little better, though im still stressed out a bit.

Hopefully after the 21st this will all be behind me, Ill have my Z back and that will be the end of it. I plan to be moving by the end of the year to get away from this mess, I dont feel like a repeat again, and again, and again......

My Z is getting picked up this week, repairs begin shortly... once it's repaired, Ill either attempt to stay here or leave immediately.

Shortly after posting my last journal my old job contacted me and asked me to come back, and here I am.

I am currently living out of town, working at my old job.

Wips are still underway, I actually have forgotten to submit a few, so meh. Will do so later.

Been playing Secondlife a lot lately...a lot a lot...and I thought runescape was addicting. Anycase, if you play add Jax Endsleigh and be sure to tell me who you are ^_^

My last class is tomorrow, checkout is friday and I have no clue when the next time I will be online is. Most likely on weekends, but I dont think this week will be possible. So I probably wont be on till next week.

Good news is, since Ill be out of college for the summer, I will be working on my wips that I have not had time for. So expect one per week uploaded soon.

That being said I will also not be on dAmn regularly anymore, at least till I get a dedicated internet connection(not anytime soon).

Insurance flopped out, apparently the letter they sent me should never have been sent out, and they did not file in my favor. Well, that just left me back where I was already at. On that note, the new Z will be here in a few days(Monday if all goes well) and I have already bought a stew of parts for it.

I have literally been so busy as of lately that I havnt been able to even touch my tablet, I had planned to work on some pieces over spring break, but between helping my parents, my car and sleep... Ya that didnt happen either.

At the moment, you'll see me on messengers, in dAmn, but that's about it. I'm busy as heck doing other stuff, mainly homework. These classes at my new college are crap easy, but they give you sooooo much homework that it just bogs you down and ugh...

Anyway I'm actually between my math and art class and thought I would post this since I never get around to it once I'm at my dorm room.

I might try working on a piece this weekend, I am getting motivated again, just time...lol..

Also also, I have a chatbot now if anyone needs one for dAmn, just hit me up.

On the wreck, my accident is now being investigated because finally something didnt add up. I was told one morning I was not at fault and then the same afternoon that I was, I immediately contested it and an agent came to inspect the damage. Sure enough, she said the damage was too severe for the other party's story.

On the new Z, if I even mentioned? ._.
Owner sent bill of sale to me on Friday, so I should have it by Monday and then the car itself in a few weeks.

If you're wondering why I havnt really posted anything new it's well...because I was in a car wreck back a week ago and my Z is trashed. Pickup merged into my lane and took my car out, lovely isnt it?

My car is currently a literal wreck and sitting in my parent's garage jacked up, once I get the new Z I will engine swap my engine into the new chassis.

So ya... hope to have my car back in a few weeks hopefully with some renewed vigor.

Wips/Commissions postponed until I get settled down here, looot of stuff to do in a short period of time.

Quitting my job on the 4th, I have to checkin to college on the 6th, register for classes before the 14th and a crapload of other things. Best part... I have to switch to sleeping at NIGHT...YAAAA thatll go quite well with my body -_-

Im also moving at the same time im going to college, my parents have the house up for sale and my stuff is getting moved to a different house in Mobile where the college is. For the moment I will be living on the dorms, a year from now... not sure, friend wants to split rent for a house then, so..

I got my 300zx running, finally after 8 weeks, apparently my Fuel Pump Controller was disabled and thus had no fuel going to my engine, or so I have been informed. All I know is it's working again.
I have to drive it to Mobile on Monday and I dont know if itll handle the trip, my seals on the right side are already leaking oil(previous owner, tyvfm) and it might break down on me mid ways. I have been driving it a lot lately, but only back and forth to work and under 50mph.. sooo 150+ mile trip at sustained 60+mph >_> Ya...

Drove it to work tonight, raced a charger(won one, lost one) and had some fun, only got a few days left to enjoy the car, then it gets put on blocks and stored for 6 months or more until I get the money to repair/insure it.

Z1000 got transported today by flatbed, so that leaves me with the Z and Jeep...though I dont plan on driving said Jeep anytime soon ;l

Blah, I will probably not be on AS much(rofl) come next week and month, but I will still be on. Ill probably leave messengers up and such, so if you see me on, message me and Ill get back to ya.

Anyway reformatted my laptop, already restored most of the music lost, unfortunately all my psds were lost made since my last backup. Only lost my completed Mclaren GTR and Skyline GTR psds though, so not that bad.

Started on a new wip [link] the Vette ZR1 since I got a request for it on NFSCars.
This is is going so much faster with aid of a tablet, I just cant describe...well actually I can. Normally for me, it would take 1 hour at least to cut the render from its background with poly lasso and a mouse, it only took me ten minutes or less to do so with the tablet and eraser tool. I am truly, truly impressed.
I have almost gotten the hand eye coordination down, im used to rotating paper when I'm drawing to keep things straight, but I cant do that with the tablet because the image on the screen doesnt rotate as well.. so it takes a little getting used to. Though I have started using it for just about everything, including surfing the net because it's more convenient that a mouse ._.

Tried calling Falcon several times, kept getting the voice mail because of how busy they were, so I just ran my ghost disc >_>

Well I was removing a bunch of things from msconfig on my Falcon cause.. a lot of the programs I install like to all start at once when my computer boots. Gets rather annoying with all the popups and such. Well, in the proccess of doing so I accidentally checked off my Raid controller and didnt realize till I hit restart and was like "faaaaaaaaaaaaak".

So... im currently on my pos Toshiba till I reformat the Falcon.

Good news: Im only losing two weeks worth of stuff(Backed up two weeks ago THIS time..).
Bad news: Im losing two weeks worth of stuff.

The stuff comes to like.. 10 gigs of music(FACEPALM), 3 PSDs including my new wip... and a few hundred misc images

Sigh~

People double check those marks before hitting restart!

Lastly my grandfather passed away on Saturday, I know at least a few people know this already. While I am sad to see him gone, he was up in the years(96) and had his share of medical problems. I am fine emotionally atm, I know people keep trying to comfort me when I pop into dAmn and really, I'm fine. Though I do appreciate that enough of you cared that much to do so, thank you.

It has been 2 days and my dad is already back to his normal sarcastic personality(now you know where I get it from).
So basically, I can relax now, I'm not on edge and can focus on work and play, my focus lately has been all over the place... Playing a game I might do really well one game and then just...suck after that, or in photoshop it might have taken 5-6 hours to finish the Evo 6... but it also took that many hours just staring at it trying to think of what to do(normally NOT a problem).

Been having a lot happen in my life lately, my dad is going in for open heart surgery this week to repair a hole in his heart that he has had from birth and almost immediately after that they are going to go back in to remove multiple clots from him smoking earlier.
That being said I am going back and forth from two cities twice a week, I am currently living by myself and my parents are in the city I have to visit once a week(although my dad is with me atm). Im also having to work during this and under quite a bit of stress...which has had me go back on my migraine meds for the first time in months.

I am trying to get projects done people have asked me to do, including ones I almost have finished... I just dont seem to have the time lately. Been sinking a lot of time into my car lately trying to take my mind off things.

Insurance thing with the lady is dealt with, she completely changed her story after my mom informed her that the cop took pictures as required for an accident and that her damage was nothing like the was claiming and that the accident report states where she was and not at a redlight.
It's going on my insurance, dont know how much my rates are gonna skyrocket but im just glad it's over with -_-'

I bought a Nissan Fairlady Z(Z32 2x2 NA) and have been running into one problem after another with it, the good news is I only paid 2500 for the car(the engine alone is 6-7k), the bad news is the title is messed up, the car hasnt been taken care of and has been abused. Cleaning it up best I can for now, till I get the title in my name I cant drive the car, so I havnt bought a set of tires yet, nor have I taken it to a mechanic for a tune up(I will do the oil changes myself tyvm).

So I was coming back from Mobile Alabama the other day to my home in Foley which is about 80 miles and around a 1:30 drive depending on traffic and red lights. Well I get home to Foley and decide to go to Wal-Mart to grab something before going to my house, upon leaving Wal-Mart a tourist was in front of me and kept inching forward out onto the highway. Finally when I thought she was going to GO she puts the brakes on and I hit her left rear bumper at like less 3mph and dent it and mine as well. Now, this dent was only cosmetic and to the plastic, not the frame or chassis.
Today I get a lovely bit of informationÂ
#1 Her entire rear bumper is totaled
#2 She was at a red-light when I collided into her ÂstoppedÂ car
#3 Her car is new and bought from her mother.
Few thingsÂ An impact strong enough to take out an entire rear bumper would deploy your airbags and would be over 3mph as stated on the police report. The police report would not state Â2200 McKenzie Wal-Mart Private DriveÂ where there is no such stated red light. 28/29 came back as deceased and registered in a different name entirely, not her motherÂs car. So... So far after having this mild impact she is already lying out the ass trying to get me for all im worth. Apparently she has not even contacted anyone for an estimate, she has just contacted the insurance company, MY insurance company (Ya, I got a call the day after) to get her car fixed.
Now obviously due to the police report clashing with SEVERAL things she has told me, my parents, the insurance company and such, that wonÂt hold in court very well.
ÂLets see, he hit you under 3mph and totaled your entire rear bumper?Â
IÂm sure the judge will raise an eye brow to this, considering all that was damaged was plastic and no metal was touched.
So, IÂm typing this as I am in Mobile again offline and will be posting this once im back online Wednesday after I have talked with the Police Chief and pulled the squad carÂs onboard camera for evidence in court, gotten a statement from the officer as evidence that the damage as stated in the police report was SLIGHT and talk with the insurance company.
I would love to get anyoneÂs comments to this, this has stressed me out for a week now and several people have seen me spaz out in dA chats and such. I swear, first I spin the dang car and warp the rear axle putting me out 1400 bucks and then I rear end a car and she is trying to sue me for everything I gotÂ Just shoot me now and get it over withÂ

Update to the above.
Went to the PD this morning, the PO was not in, the Chief was also out, so I left a note.. I went by the insurance agency and the agent was ALSO out... like wow...

On the PLUS side... I bought a Nissan 300zx Z32 2x2 today and will have a video uploaded to youtube later, no pictures for deviant art atm because it's not in any shape for it.

The Toshiba would have had at least 20 bsods by now and at least 3-4 lock ups... and I had been dealing with this for 5 years? I LOVE my Falcon ^_^

Oh, I'm thinking of getting a new hotmail here shortly, since I only use it for instant messaging and not emails it wont be a problem, I have been trying to phase out of "dothedew" and "Jax" for years and only recently have had some success in that area. My aim us changed, unfortunately my Yahoo has simply too much business going in and out of it to change it... But my Msn however has no such problem.
Reasons behind the name switch is simply that I made the sn dothedew years ago when I was younger, jokes have been made on various forums that have ruint the name for me and thus I want nothing to do with it anymore(but my yahoo account, see my problem).
Jax never really was an issue, but it was a name I copied and I keep seeing more and more Jax's as of lately and I like to keep my screen names original. Thus far no one has taken Teku on every board I have registered on, even my License plate was available as Teku lol

On to other things...

Coloring

's lineart is taking quite a bit of time, this new computer has cut some of that time down from its raw power, but still has work to do.

I have in the works something 'new' a Fighting Falcon background with for Falcon North West, should look decent by the time I get it cut from the sky....

Also no one has said anything for my next car wall, resolution from now on will be 1920x1200 because of my resolution size now. So... anyone?

And of course this submitted itself and dA went into maintenance right as it did so, adding the REST.

Great...forgot what I typed now lmao...

This new computer is really... amazing, I just can not compare it to the Qosmio, which had; 1.8ghz Centrino, 2g DDR2 667, and 64meg Nvidia; to 3.0ghz C2D E4800, 4g DDR2 800, 512meg Nvidia 8800gtx 2 Cards @ 512.
PSDs that took minutes to load on the Qosmio take seconds on this Falcon, filters that took literal minutes to apply to work like Sagaris V3 and

's lineart also take shear seconds to apply. Photoshop loads in 10 seconds even with my brushes and addons, while it took minutes on the Qosmio.
I have never had a 'high' end machine, so this is....NICE lol... Someone asked me the other day how much faster this one was compared to the Toshiba... and I couldnt answer them, it's that big a difference. On the Qosmio I got a BSOD almost every day or every other day due to the 3D card, SP3 and flashing the Bios never fixed that(put up with that for 5 years k?), this one has not locked up once from multitasking(Qosmio did it all the damn time), and I have been running it continuously for almost a week with no problems. Needless to say, I am happy with the computer and Falcon NW's excellent work on it, will never buy from another company besides them. Oh, and best part about this laptop? It's modular like Dells and I can disassemble it and upgrade everything in it, the only thing I could upgrade on the Qosmio without major surgery was the RAM cards.

Hurricane Gustaf... Given it maintains its present path, I should be on all week and be able to work on my projects. IF that thing heads towards me... well I have to evac and probably will not have internet where I end up. It's currently in the middle of the Gulf heading NW @ 15mph with 150+ mph sustained winds and is strengthening....
Rather worried about it atm, hurricane Ivan was Cat5 on landfall, went straight over my house and did 40+ thousand dollars in damage to the house and items from bringing a 100ft pine down on the house, twisted the tree like string cheese...
Would rather not go through that again, have at least 10k in tech stuff that would be destroyed...

Just spent 1400 bucks on car repair... Last tropical storm to go through drenched my area in rain, lost control of car and spun into curb, completely bent the axle through to the other side. That is repaired, car runs better than it has in 5 years, but that was a chunk of my college funds...

Gah and with that I have work to do up front(since im at work and all).

I told you I would take you some pictures as soon as I could. I really like the way the picture turned out. The artist blended the picture fine using silver around the edges of the print, but continued it around to the front LCD Ring. I was told it would be difficult to make it blend with the metallic blue any other way. I need your opinion as to whether this is satisfactory. We should be ready to ship early next if if everything is a go.

Got rid of my insomnia with a few drinks plus some heavy pain killers... But now my mind is racing and driving me insane, need something to occupy it.

Im normally in dA chats, but I got annoyed for no reason and closed them, got tired of halo and closed it, nerves are still...off. Got tunnel vision driving home and even music started to annoy me... that is odd even for me. Got 16+ hours sleep after having a few drinks and that was the first solid sleep in 2 weeks, so Im better, but still not...meh

Anyway google bound....

Edit: Ya and there are none higher than 1600x1200 in a decent angle which is beyond annoying. Several 2900x2000 but their all in a bad angle, door is open, cars around, ect, ect, ect... Got a few nice ones, will come up with a wip later on.

Got a few PSDs that are too large to render, but still no Sagaris Ver3 far as I can tell.
I am doing a sector by sector scan now, for some reason Sagaris Ver3 is just...gone, I cant even find the image I used to make it.
So either it was overwritten in reformat or is too corrupted and that was the main psd I wanted back mfg...

It managed to recover some other misc PSDs but somehow the layers were corrupted, but not the file, really weird. Plus it found doubles that I had deleted.

At the moment I have 14,300 files in my recycle bin taking up around 20g of space, all were mostly doubles, triples and junk files from cache that didnt get cleared. At least some of them were good.
Im happy that I got back as much as I did(although my music library is completely gone) but I wont be happy till Ver3 is back in my hands, that by far was the longest work I have done.

Photoshop is installed again, AVG, Spysweeper, FF, Most...of my music from my external is back on my HDD although it is lacking 10gigs.
I still need to restart my computer to get Daemon tools working, but im doing too much at the moment to restart. It is gonna take me nearly a week just to get my brushes and displacement maps back, ugh..

All I can say if it wasnt for pandora.com right now, I would have gone insane.

Been using "Recover My Files" and the program has found nearly all of my PSDs, two in the 40+ meg range which might be my TVR Sagaris ver3 and another one...cant think of another being that size though.

Small update on my laptop, it is currently being painted and I should have it in my hands in about 3 weeks(give or take weekends).
If everyone doesnt know the company Falcon North West, you should, they have been in the custom built computer business since 1992 and are still the leader in the field.
Falcon does custom everything, w/e hardware and software you want, is installed and can be custom painted with authentic automotive paints from Mercedes, Ferrari, ect..
All of Falcon's paint work is done by hand and not machine, it's simply amazing.

Im open to just about anything as long as I can find a decent picture or model of the car, it took me nearly two weeks to find the image I used in the 3rd Sagaris wallpaper.

I am also willing to give making an anime background a try...given of course I can find a nice fanart or cg in good detail.

Side note: Will be ordering Falcon NW laptop monday and the version 3 of the Sagaris will be put onto the lid.

Side note2: currently going through my media library listening to the first song to last, shouldnt take me more than 3 weeks LoL.

Done some major and minor touch ups, made the floor look more...watery? Added some more abstractness to the background and now it looks good.

Just need some more tweaks and it's good to go.

Got a Raptor ver3 in works, couldn't decide on the next wallpaper...so just doing another raptor. It will be of the same styling as the Sagaris and 2000x1053.

Because it is so large, it will take some time to make and touch up; it took me an hour alone to cut the car out of the background and it still is not finished.

I will post a wip later on once I get the floor done.

We will see if it is repaired or not, the case....if it HAS been swapped for a new one, it will be VERY noticeable rofl...that case was 5 years old and ha scratches, gashes and defects in it.

What I have been told numerous times is that they do not repair cosmetic damage(the case) nor do they fix the OS. Well, it so happens that they have a case on order and have already reformatted the OS(LoL).

Must have been that DoD back I put on eh? My dad thought the same thing rofl..

Just contacted Falcon North West about buying a DRX with one of my wallpapers on the lid, will here back from them shortly. He explained to me that they have to make sure the image is large enough for the lid and then see what kind of work it will require to paint onto it. This is very promising. Atm the cost for the laptop is around 5.5-6k.

#1 the damage to the casing is still there from the drop.

#2 my RAM cards were swapped.........

#3 she told me over the phone all they did was 'fix' the vga mounts and it says on the repair paper that the motherboard was swapped and the video card repaired.

#4 oh, this is the good one, for the second time in a row of coming back to me from being repaired, it had a level 3 trojan hijacker on my laptop.

So far i have been told one thing by Circuit City's IT and something completely different by their service center and then told wrong information about my repair from the service center.
The RAM cards have me scratching my head, I dont know why they were swapped, but they were.
The Vga/Mobo I expected, I KNEW either the PSU or mobo was gone.
The virus....irdfk....the first time I was like...ok....and then this time it was just...really suspicious......and I just had a Ms Dos app screen flash in front of me...excuse me while I scan for root kits...

Apparently they did not format the hard drive like I asked them to, my warranty provider says they do not do this and the repair company said that they would have if they were told... riiiiight, now..

I am told that they replaced no parts and that the problem was the video card's mounting posts came off the mobo... So now why is it when I tried to turn it on, I had nothing? I know on my desktop if I pull the vid card and turn it on(dont do it lol) it will turn on and there will just be no video.
Well whatever, they said they repaired what was there(I doubt they repaired my case) and it was shipped yesterday, so I should get it back today or tomorrow

This is fishy as usual, the last time I sent in my computer for repair, I was having trouble with the OS and they said they reformatted it. Yet, when I got my laptop back and checked the hardware stats, it came back with a higher RPM drive than the one that came in it and they swear they didnt replace the drive.

I also have been having troubles with my Nvidia card for ....since I bought the computer, they alwaaaaays said "It's a software problem and your warranty does not cover software" and now they mounting brackets came undone from the mobo? >_>

A friend told me they sometimes do this to cover up product defects by swapping parts without saying so, the hard drive was a perfect example.

/rant...

Meh laptop withdrawl is a painful thing, at least it is being returned to me with my files intact(dont have to go through the painful reinstalling of EVERYTHING) and repaired of damages.

I was also informed that my warranty does not expire till Nov 2009, the last time I checked it expired in June of this year... >_>
