OK! I'm a little confused but I found out more information on the table thing. According to the Autumn Dream Forum, Autumn Dream Venue Info, The tables Jianre and I will be at are numbered 23-26 on this: Map of the Gardens. As far as I understand it. Artist Alley will be open from 10am to 7pm(to 5pm on Sunday).
Also I found out that the programs are not going to be available at the convention so if you want to know whats going on then you need to print out the program ahead of time. It's a 15 page long PDF and here is a link to Autumn Dream Program of 2009.
------------------------------------------
The 9th to the 11th of October is *Jianre-M and my next convention(It was known as Ani-Magic before). We have 1/2 tables #17-20. if that means anything. I can't find a map of the room yet so we will see.
This Anime Convention is in Lancaster, California and it's the second time Jianre and I will have gone as artists. So I'm really excited.

That's about all for now but I'll update this journal when I get more info.

If you have any questions please comment or send me a note!

Marbles:
The pieces I make with these are the majority of my produced Jewelry. I or a customer picks a marble and wire to wrap it in so someone can wear it.
I have to apologize. I have been neglecting my DA account lately.
My reasons are mainly frustration. I keep getting interrupted in the middle of whatever I'm doing and so it just piles up(and/or I forget something) So I'm sorry.

On to work!!

I never finished my post on Comic-Con '09 or AFO '09 (part of my frustration[I was in the middle of it 4 times before I let it go]). So I will put them here. Beware they make this journal long.

40th Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA

There were tons of things to do and *Jianre-M and I tried to do a lot of it. Blue/Green screen pictures were very popular this year at the booths. Some of the stuff we/I got:
A Yu-Gi-Oh token card with my picture on it(Green screen). It's an actual card but it's not part of your deck if you don't know about the game.
A picture with Jianre on the cover of the new Wii game for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(Blue screen).
A picture with Ironman(Green screen). Though that one was sorta disappointing cause the lady taking the pictures squished me shorter on the final pic. I look all scrunched. not that i'm not short enough as it is(5'3).
We also stopped by a couple of our fav online comic booths like the Keenspot booth where we talked to some of the writers and artists that are involved in 'Marry Me', 'Last Blood', 'Dreamless', 'No Need For Bushido', etc and the booth for Girl Genius. I think we even got a couple pictures in.
Jianre and I also stalked the Viz booth. Great people there! We were there everyday; at least 3 or 4 times. They had this claw machine that they stuffed with Naruto plushies. Umm... Naruto, Kakashi, Neji, Shikamaru, Gaara, and --- I think that was all. I could be missing one.
But the second day we were in line to try to get a plushie and it came up to Jianre's turn. Now know that between the two of us we had tried this thing like 18 times over the two first days. She really wanted Kakashi, but only succeeded in putting him right out on top. Then it was my turn. I'm like 'this guys mine!!! HAHAHA!!' so I carefully position the claw and drop it. I got him!! it took him up and over the out bin and opened the claw but he didn't drop!!!!!!! Then it took him back out to the main bin and he fell back in. !! so not fair.
So the next day we were there again. Of course right?
Jianre did it again. Right out on top begging me to get him. 'This time, You are MINE' I spend my time wisely looking and positioning the claw and then I drop it..... and it brings up a Kakashi
And A NARUTO!!! People started to cheer but I put up my hands to stop them as cheering seems to make the plushies drop early. The claw hit the top, it moved over the drop bin, and they were IN!!! Then we all started cheering(and in my case jumping). And the Viz people were laughing and saying that it was karma or something. It was really fun. Jianre and I decided to share both plushies. Right now she has the Naruto and I have the Kakashi.
But the last day was my favorite. I went to see the Aspen booth. I loved Michael Turner's stuff and followed it from when it was published by topcow(or was it Image?). It was horrible when he died. So since it was my first Comic-con I had to go say hi and maybe ask the people in the booth to sign a paper or something to commemorate. The people there were very nice and fun. I had several spazz attacks talking to the arti...

Both *Jianre-M and I had spaces in the Art Show (a table for me and a pegboard for Jianre). Which unfortuately didn't go so well. I sold 1 peice of jewelry and had a bid on another but no one came to pick it up. :shrugg:
Running around the con was exceptionally fun. I got a Yu-Gi-Oh token card with my picture on it. I got a picture with the TMNT. I also got a picture with Ironman.
My favorite thing to happen was I went to see the Apen booth. The people there were very nice and fun.
Anime Expo 2009 in LA, CA is the next convention I have on the list. I'm looking forward to it as the AA Tables are in the same hall as the dealers(only a curtain is separating us)!! So it should be wild this year.
Table assignment is Artist Alley Table C14 and *Jianre-M is C15. Please come and visit! I love to meet the people that I talk to online in person.

Day 0:
Wednesday, I and a friend went and picked up the groups badges. Took a while to do so but it was fun. Just for kicks I took some of the stuff(jewelry) I needed to take pix of did so while walking and waiting in line.

First Day:
It went well. The staff are really nice and helpful. Kinda slow but a good intro day and a lot of interest. People were really nice and *Jianre-M's buttons were selling well. We even had a surprise visit from a fellow artist from a former con come by. ~phatpandax3 had a table a couple isles over. It was great to see her. After AA closed and kicked us out we went to the Manga Cafe to kill some time. After that we caught the last hour of the Artist Alley Jam & Mixer for the artists to mingle without worrying over our tables. It was really random and interesting.

Second Day:
Do they every stop!!??? Wait that didn't come out right! I want the marble commissions, I love doing them but by the end of the day my hands really hurt. I made some nice pieces and they went over well with the people buying them. It was really funny trying to eat and make pendants at the same time.

Third Day:
A little more manageable but still having 4 back orders waiting for pendants was kinda stressing. I did it though and everyone got what they wanted.
Oh, Yeah. I feel kinda bad but I was waiting out in front of West Hall when a girl in a loli-dress goes by and she has a frayed hem that was just trailing out behind her. The costumer in me keeled over at the site.(it really wasn't that bad it's just me.) I mentioned as such to *Jianre-M and she told me to go cut it off for her and handed me her scissors. I just jogged over, asked her to wait, and grabbed the thread and cut it off. At first she was like twisting around to see what I was doing but after she saw the clump of thread she thanked me. I apologized if I creeped her out and we both laughed as she walked away.
Well when I got to Jianre and my friends they were all cackling like mad. Turns out that when I kneeled down the girl and her friend had priceless faces. I can only imagine what they thought. So if they ever see this I apologize.

Fourth Day:
Things wound down but I sold a good amount this con. Thanks to all the people that visited my booth!!! It was awesome to meet people and make all the pretty sparkly stuff.

New Things:
In the process of making sure I update regularly I'm roughly setting up a basic layout to my journals. Makes it easier to quickly write up the next one and so on. So I'm making this a 'new' catagory so to say.
I'm also thinking I may change this type of thing (ex. all the updates on upcomming stuff and my new products) to regular (means like once a month? what do you think?) News updates and have more stuff on my actual jewelry in my journals. Hmm... What do you think? Advise, help, demands?
ChainLink(Chainmaille):
This isn't new per say but it is the first time I'm mentioning it in my journals. I'm slowly getting more into the chain designs. If you would like to look at some of them go check out my Chain-Link Gallery.
Many thanks go out to the people that came by my booth! Many were very interesting to talk with and share my love of wirewrap.
I've been lax in my posting of info on conventions. So here it is:

Fanime:
WAS HUGE!!!! The artist alley was very big. The tables were the typical size but the walk way in between was very wide. That gave lots of room for people to meander and see the booths from a distance if needed.
There was also numerous people populating the con. Very colorful cosplayers and even some original characters. I should have taken a picture.
I think the only thing that didn't go smoothly was our set up the first day. *Jianre-M and I had stayed up later the night before to make up some of the stock we had neglected. The next morning the fruits of our labor hindered us as we all got up about an hour later than we had planned. We got our stuff and headed out but when we got to the con the line was super long to register so that took some time(The staff were really helpful as we had many bags) and directed us to the AA hall. There was also a line there. Unfortunately there was only an hour directed to setup before the doors were opened to the public so we were still in line when they came streaming past us. But we got our table assignments and set up slowly as people came to see what we had. So it worked out in the end.
Oh!!! *Jianre-M and I didn't get a table stalker this con!
Though we did have a protest outside by a christian group that decided that since there were scantly clad women and it was anime, that we were all sinning. So they protested us being there and the con goers decided to protest back by singing the 'Numa Numa' song at them.
As we left the convention each day there was a group of dancers in the entrance hall that would bring a boom box to dance to. Mostly break dancing. It was very interesting to watch as we waited for our ride the come and get us. One of those days there was a bigger group than usual, all guys taking turns and showing off to a group of Sailor Scout cosplayers. One of them (the guys) did a move right in front of the SailorMoon girl; SailorJupiter nudged her but Moon shook her head. The same guy danced some more and Jupiter nudged her again as he was finishing. Then Moon threw up her hands and took the floor. She was really good and all the guys were pointing and stareing. They started to cheer her on but it was really funny.
It was a very interesting con and I plan to go back next year.

Califur:
Was very fun! I enjoy going to Califur because of the feel of a furry con is so much different than the feel to an anime con. People are there to have fun and share our love of furry and fuzzy creatures. Anime cons have a more frenzied feel to the environment as people try to get places and see everything. I don't know how to really explain it. Anime cons are fun too just in a different way I guess.
Anyway this con was *Jianre-M and my first time as returning artists. We also moved from the artist alley to the dealer's den. Totally worth it. Sadly I didn't do so well in sales but *Jianre-M went to town with commissions. I had a blast making stuff and talking to my fellow furrys though.
One of the items I sold made me very happy though. Some of my Stone Scrunchies finally found people to adorn.
I also wrapped some different pendants. Ex. I had a glass snake that I have been having a hard time wrapping that some one found and wanted wrapped. I was also approached by a gentleman that had a piece of meteorite that he wanted me to do a simple wirewrap into a pendant. Unfortunately that one I forgot to get a picture of.
This con always has a very relaxed and sociable effect and I will be going to it next year as well.

Feathers:
Simply Done
Swirl Feather
Green Dream
Th...

We need help!!!! We need ideas for Chibi's!!! Go to the ** if you just want to help with that....

Ok, so I went to AZ for AniZona with *Jianre-M and ~amascusmage on April 8th to the 12th. Jianre and I shared a table in artist alley (which coincidentally was in with the dealers this year). We met a lot of new people and got a new friend by the name of =StuckOnSandAndBugs. She was awesome, She also got the nickname of Reno from Jianre. I was a little shocked, speachless almost when she had a fangirl attack in front of our booth when she found out that Jianre wrote a fanfiction that she liked. I think I almost fell out of my chair snickering. She came back alot and was very interesting to talk to. I finally got to meet ~DragnixianFireheart who I hear a lot about from Jianre. She was really hyper and fun!! We did alot of glomping with her and I guess I surprised her when I started purring when we were group hugging before she left. It was really cute!

On this trip I also got a little more organized with my stuff. Which helps with travel and stuff. Jianre and I are still trying to figure out how exactly to transport all the stuff we need for conventions, but with each con we get better at it. Then we add in the new stuff we are trying to integrate into our stock and it gets more complicated. If you want more info on the con go to Jianre's journal Arizona - Damage Report

So On To The New Stuff:

Feather Prob Fixed:
I was having problems with my feathers 'cause I didn't think about how to keep them from disintegrating after a while. I finally went to an art store with Jianre and she totally helped me out. I found an acrylic spray that seals porous materials and UV protects them too. I'm hoping that this will help the feathers stay pretty and together longer. Now most of the feather pendants that I have made you can take out the feather and probably put a new one in but it might be a bit of a hassle later. So I now lightly spray my feathers in this. I should be posting the ones I made while in AZ soon and I will put the links in here as well.
Simply Done

**Collaboration with *Jianre-M:
Jianre and I decided to try to create something together this time with fanart. Jianre did little chibi art of the Final Fantasy VII characters (Super Chibis), we stuck the little 5/8th inch cut outs on little clear flat-backed marbles(Super Chibi Charms), and then I wrapped it in 24gauge wire to make simple pendants. I plan to make more elaborate pendants, charms, and earrings out of them. Then our little sister came up with the idea to do "pairing earrings". You tell us the pairing you want and we make them as earrings for you. Example The Earrings
*note: I had a number of people that were into the idea but they didn't have pierced ears and so I am working on doing ear cuffs that the charms can hang on.

**note2: We are looking for more characters that you think would be popular to do chibi's of!! We need help!!! Please give suggestions!! If you can please give a good reference link, Thanks!!

Next Con on the Schedule:
The next convention is Fanime in San Jose, CA on May 22nd to the 25th and I have a table there!! Jianre will be there as well(of course we are a team) with her own table. I am looking forward to it!!

<img src="http://e.deviantart.c...

Ok so *Jianre-M was invited to *raiagirl's wedding and ~amascusmage and I went with. We drove to Colorado and got some great pix of the way there. (If you want to see them note me and I'll tell you were I posted them.)
We arrived in time to have a nap and then go to the rehearsal dinner that night at a restaurant called Old Chicago. It was so fun to meet the families and friends of *raiagirl and *dragonsthatservegod. There was also a little group of us that were 'from the internet'
Back to *raiagirl's home to meet all her little furry friends. Her ferret Guinness was especially popular. I think in the end we called him a floppy ferret... he liked to just kinda fall over instead of put alot of effort into it. It was great. That and he kept putting his wet nose into *Jianre-M's ear.
The next day was the wedding! It was in a beautiful church and had a very nice service. *raiagirl and *dragonsthatservegod totally looked like love birds (well dragons as the case may be). So happy!!! I hope they will post pix when they get back from their honeymoon. After the wedding *Jianre-M, ~amascusmage, and I talked more with Crystal, Ben, and Jennifer whom we had met at the rehearsal dinner. Totally fun people and so when we got to the reception we dragged at least Crystal with us to the table we picked. Absolute blast!
During the reception I threatened *Jianre-M and Crystal with dragging them out to the dance floor but they ran and got away. I'll get them next time!
We actually ended up having a little get together of our own in the sitting area outside the reception 'cause it was so hot in there with everyone having too much fun. *raiagirl and *dragonsthatservegod joined us on their little breaks.

Next Day (Sunday) we said our goodbyes to the newly weds and headed down to Santa Fe, New Mexico to see ~ScreamingLama. She used to live in so-cal and we miss her lots now. So we decided to drive to her place to see her!
It was great and us girls had a little sleepover and talked alot. Well sorta. *Jianre-M mostly laughed at ~ScreamingLama and I. We glomped her a few times.. just a few. It might have involved pillows...

Next day it was on our way home when right outside flagstaff, Arizona a bad storm hit us. We didn't think much of it until we started to slide a bit. So we slowed down. Well until the I-40 came to a complete stop...... for an hour and a half.
*Jianre-M put up a journal and I kinda stole this from her but she said it best:
"we got stuck outside of Flagstaff Arizona for an hour and a half when the snow got so thick Semi-Trucks were Jack-knifing everywhere and had to be towed off. It only got worse, when trying to get through the mountains we got stuck behind ANOTHER accident, this one a Semi-Truck THOROUGHLY CRASHED, and crushed, ... in the 2.5 hour wait for that one, it blizzarded, rained, snowed, rained, and then fogged before we got moving. SO the DOWNHILL mountain slope was BLACK ICE... absolutely covered in FEET of snow-slush, with Semi-Trucks sliding in front and behind us, mere rear-wheel drive on our SUV, less than 15-feet visability at 2 in the morning, and it was snowing, windy, and foggy... and did I mention it was a STEEP downgrade? and I don't own any snow-chains... (I'm a spoiled Californian after all...) we crawled along at 2 miles per hour, sliding for ever...

And in some cases just enjoy the present.
Recently Ive been visiting my relatives in Washington State. I got to play with my little cousins(so cute and out going!) and see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and not so little cousins with another on the way. Been tickle attacked by my dad. So that is probably my next project i'm going to work on.

I did make stretchy semi precious stone bracelets a month back. I will be posting the pixs for those soon. But they are individually taken so it will be a bit before they are all up.

I will probably put up some of the pendant and stuff I made while at Anime & Art Expo in between the bracelets otherwise there will be nothing but bracelets for a week or two. I'm going to try to do one or two deviations a day and see how it goes.

I might start seeing what I can do with wire wrap bracelets. hmmm a thought to look into.

At the same time I'm also finishing up the prior project that was to get all my previous work up here. Most of it I have up but as you have noticed alot of my pix lately have been really dark or over exposed. I don't really understand why the convention lights incite this behavior in the camera but it does(though Jianre doesn't have much of a problem hmm).
Hey all... srry I havn't updated since August. I didn't make the time.
So on to November; so far i've done two conventins (well as of this moment i've done one and a half conventions) and ... my mind stopped. hopefully it will come back.
10 minutes later : O.O got it!!!
I finally got the beginnings of my webpage up.

---*** if you were the person that I made the orange and black swirly ring at Autumn Dream would you take a picture of it and send it to me? pretty please. I forgot >.< - and if not then I hope you enjoy it anyways!!***---

But lets start with Animagic or as it is now known Autumn Dream. A convention in Lancaster that was on the weekend about a week or two ago. -.- wait a minute, that might have been october....... ummm whatever. It was a blast!!
Jianre and I got a full table each instead of halfs and sharing. It was interesting when we found out that it is harder to watch two completely different tables by ones self. But past that I was blessed with three commissions consisting of a ring, a pair of chainlink earrings, and a pendant - scratch that four commissions as one of the staff wanted a pair of bracelets on wire instead of the strechy cord I had put them on.
I also had time to put out alot of the new chains I had aquired for the con. The copper chains to go with my copper works and I purchased some sterling silver chains and some gold fill chains to round out the options.
I sold a good amount of pendants and chains. I even sold some of my chainlink stuff. As Jianre can attest I was bouncing off the walls when we got home.

Second convention is a last minute, first year: Anime and Art Expo in Monticito (arkadia? I think) at an art school there. Jianre got invited and I tagged along. Today was the first day and it was more wave then steady traffic but nice people. They actually made it so that there are multiple artist ally rooms. it's differnt.
I sold a little but it was more fun to just have time to work on my projects. I even finished up a copper piece and a really good air brush artist purchased it on the spot. Really nice guy and really really good at his work. I'm not sure if its really right to say air brush though cause he uses spray paint like from cans and uses tools to smudge and paint as well. shrug I got to watch him do one and it was very interesting to watch. I'll edit later and post his name and stuff.

Then the website. [link] is up with a bare bones page set. I am creating it myself so it's going to take longer than I want to get it all the way I want. But you can always send me messages with ideas and suggestions. I'll have more time to look at stuff at least temperarily for I was layed off on friday. It's a litte sad but life continues. \quite that, back to Jayetta.com will cover more than just my jewelry, it will also be for my other craft interests. Crocheting, cross stitch, framing, etc.
But the Jewelry will always be the biggest part.
yikes look at the time - I think I should get to bed now so ja!!

Well, It's going to get hecktic(sp? oh well) soon. My actual birthday is in a couple days on the 30th. SATURDAY!!! for once.
I'm holding my birthday party on the 5th and 6th of Sept. at my house. It should be interesting as im really bad at getting b-parties underway. I usually do a pair of days because all my firends have so much going on that they never have a single day we can all get together. It should be fun.
I'm slowly putting up peices. What I find strange is the fact that I'm not putting anything up in any type of order. Like the order I made stuff or even the order I took pic's of my stuff. It's almost totally random.
I want to thank everyone that has commented and well everyone that hasn't even for looking at my stuff. Hearing the opinions of the people that do contact me is immensely uplifting. I also want to thank all the people that put stuff on Deviantart!! They put up stuff that totally amazes me; inspires me alot.
Keep up the good work everyone!!!!

Wow, it took me a long time to post after AX.
I went with Jianre-M and a good friend Neko-chan to Anime Expo this year. I even met a really good new friend by the name of Bishi-lover. She helped Jianre-M and I out alot and She is really cool!!! Jianre-M was nice enough to let me use a small part of her table to show some of my jewelry. I even had a couple people stop to watch me as I made some stuff at the booth! It was really fun being there with her. I think I even liked talking to people as they came by the booth in artist alley better than when I was running around the exhibition hall last AX. sounds strange huh?

I've finally started posting some of my jewelry online. Thanks to Jianre-M and a few others I got the push I needed to put some up. Hopefully I will continue to do so.
If Anyone has any ideas for what they think is popular for jewelry or if you want to see something please tell me. I'm trying to figure out what to try next. Wire wrapping is very interesting but I can do so much with it that I'm not sure what to make next. Key chains? phone charms? belts? necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and lots more. Colors? Color combinations?
so yeah there is that. Too much going on in my brain.

I believe that Jianre-M and I will be going to a convention in October. Up in Lancaster. I forget the name, I'll go to Jianre's page and ask her later and put it in here. But I think that's all I have planned so far. But this time I will have my own table and so I've got my work cut out for me to make enough stuff.

That's it for now! Bye's Peeps!!!!

A friend a mine is letting it get a little too personal at work. It bothers me but there isn't much I can do. She is kinda connected at work and I'm not sure if I want to stay or not. It's a nice work environment but then she comes in once in a while and just has major fits. it bugs. Dad would tell me not to take it personally. but she is making it personal.
I don't know....

OK!!!!
So I'm looking for designs to make out of wire(sounds wierd) or make jewelry from specific animes. Like the jewelry that the characters wear and stuff.
Any Ideas? Anyone???
-=cricket cricket churp=-
O.O
O.o'
Oh well.
There's been mentioned a tri force which doesn't seem to hard. If there is anything someone out there is looking for or likes to see please tell me. k? thanks

I guess to the journal part:
Todays a typical day at the office. Very slow. sigh not complaining but I don't stay awake as well when I don't have something to do.
I still havn't gotten my new bottle nose pliers(sp?) for my jewelry work. Before I was using mini tools and my hands finally told me in no uncertain terms to stop using them or else..... scary.
Skating hasn't really been happening lately as I havn't been going to a rink to practice. I'm still doing off ice training when I can but it's not enough. So I'm havning doubts about going to san fran in Oct. for adult champs. I really wanted to have at least one program and not just do the interperative (it's a program that the rink picks music at random before the event and so when you go to compete it's supposedly the first time you've heard this music. You are then to create on the spot a program as you go. Not alot of people are really good at this type of program but I seem to be middling at it. It's really fun though. Last time I did this program they had the wierdest music and there was two people on the ice at the same time. kinda scary because you don't want to do a move and then find out the other person is doing something right in the same spot. ouchies.) and surprise program. (surprise is very... random. another program but it's more of a direct compitition. I think last time the lower levels had to take off their skates on the ice and when they said start they had to put them back on and make it to the other side of the rink first. other instances I've heard of include having an egg on a spoon w/o letting it drop race how many times around the rink, gotta roll a hoola hoop down the ice, etc... the one I see most often for the higher groups is they pull out two fuzzy dice and you throw them. the number you get is the amout of jumps u have to do. There was once when they had the jumps as only axels. shiver.)
so yeah, Jianre-M got me into the dragon cave stuff. I got an egg and its red. it's cute. I guess I need poeple to click on it to make it grow. otherwise it dies. kinda sad the amount of ways to kill or have your egg or dragon die in this place. They have some really kewl looking dragons though. Good design and the baby ones are really cute.
Here is the link to my (egg right now)dragon if u want to look, help mine grow, or get your own. I can't get the pic to work here (but then I'm probably not doing it right ) but the link works:

Thats about it for today.
Friday finally!!!! YAY!
So back to the grindstone. School's comming up on monday and im not really prepared yet.
I just finished a pair of earings. It was new design to me so it was fun making them. Now I get to play with sizes(of rings). Oh, srry the earings are interlocking rings. Mum was the one to originally learn the technique and she calls it chain mail but I don't think thats technically correct. Oh well. But I really like them but they are sterling silver and I can't wear that. (I have expensive ears, they like to tarnish and mess with anything not 14k gold or higher. It's annoying. slol)
Next is the gold and I may mess with the design so I can sell them at a convention or something. I'll post a pic soon and if people want they can tell me what they would like or be willing to buy. Just so I could get an idea of what people like? Please? Thanks either way.
I am still working on a crochet blanket. Started this one on the trip to Washington. Not sure if i'm going to keep the same undertone color or start blending it to something else so it's slow going there.
So weekend here I come!

It just finally happened.
We just got back from Seattle and Sakura con was great!
Though little note don't take really long car rides in a compact with 4 people. Just a little cramped and I didn't even have to drive. I felt really bad for the drivers though. They got very little sleep.
I will be posting pics of some of the costumes on Flickr if anyone wants to see some.
Vic (voice of Edward Elric)was awsome to meet!! He was really cool and very friendly. As Jianre and I were shopping we saw him again. He gave really fun hugs!!!
Well gtg
