Its came to a decision where I cannot continue to update here on DA let alone comment on any of your works that have been stacking away neatly in my inbox, as my life since October has been nothing but University co-operation on the work that is needed there in order for me to become a honorary BA Graphic Designer and to make a successful living out of it. So I have to leave here as I just cannot keep to date with everything that is posted or is happening otherwise.

Because I really don't have the time to get everything put out here just at the moment, such as a huge hauling list of my personal thank yous to all the people who watched me, entertained me with comments, and even became closest personal friends...to the little things such as memories and note rallying that became a part of the "just another regular day on the DA" for myself. So when I do get some "off" time and have the motivation, I will get more added to this as I want to make this last journal "worthwhile", as leaving on such a entry like this one is pretty lame in my eyes.

But hey, just because I'm leaving here don't mean you can still drop me a message off at jdoggextreme@hotmail.com the original way of making contact online. Oh, and before anyone asks "will I ever return" well, many come and go...but we always like to visit every often once more.

UPDATE:

It seems the virus is still out there causing problems for many.
If you want to steer clear of infection or if you know your system has been bugged, I suggest a clean up by using virus scan online:- [link]
or by using your virus scan software probably already on your system.
My MSN hasn't been a problem since I got it checked by using this.
I also got Activescan result notes showing the cause of the problem.

Virus:W32/IRCbot.BEP.worm

So make sure you look at the notes after scanning to make sure this is now cleared off your own system. For further cleaning,
I suggest you also delete all your cookie files saved from the web too, These can be found in C:\Documents and Settings\(your computer systems name)\Cookies.

Wednesday 1st August 2007

After starting off the day early and traveling on a train for just over 3 hours [felt surprisingly shorter somehow], I arrive to meet up with Dixon right outside of the train station only to take about a minute to get back to his living space [he lives basically near to everything thats a essential, shops and the like, not half bad huh?] After clambering up stairs, I finally get to meet the wonderful [and evil XD] Mony! Who greets me with gifts all the way from Hungary. [A nice pendant choker for my neck and a lil' glass statue with my birth sign imprinted inside. She was lucky to get them back as beforehand her luggage was lost back at the airport]. I didn't come empty handed either as I gave her a belated birthday present [her birthday was on Sunday 29th July], a lil' plushie fox with a mini bottle of perfume. [I stood out in heavy rain just to buy that!] She was grateful for the present which she started playing with. ^^

So it was now back to me and Dixon wondering what to do to get things rolling while watching Mony burn things to the ground while playing Spyro. I suggested he should pit his skills on the old cult classic, Sonic The Hedgehog. This led to Dixons gears turning in his head as he rushed back to his bedroom to get a second tv so we could play head-to-head competition on getting through the game the fastest. Dixon either lacked luck or just his gameplay was rusty that day as he simply came to a game over in Marble Zone Act 1. [Forshame Dixon, forshame. XD]

It was time to gain back some respect by going spit-screen on Sonic 2. I think he won in the end out of a best of 5 series at a score of 3-2. [only because he held back collecting more rings and scoring more points which help out in the final scores, CHEATER! XD]

Dixon and Mony took a time out for awhile as they checked messages 'N other stuffs online while I searched through the gaming library on the MegaDrive collection, only to end up playing a game by the name of "Gain Ground". Ugh, way to put on a game to your collection SEGA, this game lacked fun in more ways than one. Hell with this, GOLDEN AXE 3 FOR THE WIN!!!! XD Dixon joined back in on this one as we double-teamed our way through most of the game, only for me to keep getting face-planted by him. [I'm sure he figured out in the end when I'm beating up a enemy, don't rush in with a flying kick, as 9/10 times, it'll hit me instead ¬_¬;;;]

So came to a end the first night after enjoying a pack of noodles [Dixon has gone noodle mental BTW as his store cupboard holds at least twenty packs of the stuff O.o;] and sleeping on the couch [this would be my bed for the next four days too].


Thursday 2nd August 2007

Today brought the travel of Rochdale, as poor Mony was in dire need for more plushies to hug and squeeze. [damn that girl sure does love her plushies!] So while on train Dixon explained how before I arrived both of them went searching every road in each town just to find plushies for Mony. Luckily for them, I arrived and I can find hidden items like this quite easily. XD

So we hit Rochdale and straight away we were on the search for the plushies, through markets and shops we went.....always coming up short. After a food break [me in Subway, Mony and Dixon in McDonalds *SATANS FOOD!* XD] we found some in a window of a shop which led to Mony buying a dolphin [because of her love for Ecco the Dolphin games] and a lion [I think it was a lion, can't remember] which was real lucky as when we got out of the store they automatically locked it up! I'll be in Manchester *well, outside of the area* visiting for the third time my good buddy and for the first time also all under one roof!!! Also the wondrous one will also be getting a visit from all three of us in Leeds if all goes to plan.

I'm also looking to get some filming done while I'm traveling around too, so I'll be putting my peeps on the spot with some potential craziness happenings and maybe some shoot promos. Stay tuned!

Rules:

1. I sometimes refer my art as the "grandpa Joe" style, because it reminds me so much of how my granddad used to draw.
2. I have many sketches not shown before still in my sketchpad. I think only has ever viewed most of them.
3. My style is changing once again. Been practicing more of an anthro work class. Still working on it.
4. Jdogg (my char) is the most drawn character in my pads.
5. Most of Jdogg's attire drawn is based of actual items I own in RL.
6. I often wonder if my background designs produced in photoshop are more visual than what I draw freehand.
7. I still use the old items of drawing. Pencil, Rubber, Sharpener. Nothing else. Well, unless you count paper. XD
8. I still believe I suck at cell shading. Can never get it to look right.
9. Jdogg is currently on a ver.6 style, now in a ver.7 beta style upcoming sometime.

For those who had no idea I was going to visit I HAVE RETURNED!!! The weekend went great as we played many games from both PS2 to Gamecube, onto watching some stand-up comedy dvd's, playing pool down at the poolhall, and eating cookies and cheese. YES! COOKIES AND CHEESE! It was quite nice actually. (I'll get pics of this up for actual proof that I did eat one) I hated to leave after only two days, but unfortunatly thats how it goes. Still, I have pics and memories and thats all I need to keep me insane....erm...I mean sane.

Also if your actually wondering where Dixon has been for the past 5 months, he's been busy moving home, finding work, paying bills, eating, sleeping, being lazy, forg...okay...cutting it short basically he does have a new internet provider, but because he's working of a Mac (poor sod. XD) the service has no idea how to fix his problems of connection. So its a case of now he's found a new fonding of being able to actually SHOUT down the line to the company who's supposed to be giving him internets right now. So I have no final ideas for when he will actually return, but it does seem it will be real soon. At least by December.

Yup, 2 years and badamn alot has changed in them two years, all for the better too, from new style of art from me, to alot more of my peeps! *gives out box of cookies*

Monday: Computer refuses to detect scanner. *still trying to get it to work*

Tuesday: My other computer decides to keep freezing on me every time I try to open a program.

Wednesday: Other computer desides to lose programs so I cannot get anywhere with it now. Also internet desides to screw up, forcing me to re-insatall the modem again and again and again........

As for today...well, I am now fallen victim to sickness.
Bad coughs, runny nose, felling cold and stomach pains.

So what does Friday bring? I wouldn't be suprised if I wake up with both my legs missing......or something extreme like that........
