I kid you not.

My dream of seeing Sweeny Todd was fulfilled last night! It was soooo grand. My new favorite movie, for sure. I've never seen so many slit throats in my life; a war movie couldn't have competed with the gloriously plotted and wrought deaths; the most delicate and compelling was the final one, in which the blood of the deceased character slid quietly down their body instead of spurting- just a river of finality, almost.

There was also a point where someone fell through a trap door and their head smashed like an egg. <3 It was glooooriousssss.

It was also like an 18th century Romeo and Juliet; I can't say any more than that. D:

I found the film very predictable; however, my two friends ( and Dee, not a DArtist.) also saw a few of the foreshadowings, but I picked that movie to pieces. It was amazing! The music was beautiful and clever; if you like seeing a very serious, staring Sweeny Todd in a horizontally striped, black and white old-style bathing suit while a crooning Ms. Lovett smiles cheerily next to him in bright blue bathing garments, this movie is for you.

Compelling, morbid English humor, the wonderfully gray atmousphere, and the splendid cast left me speechless.

Or rather, not. We discussed it all the way home. ;D

My throat did feel rather tight afterward; and just thinking about this film, it's constricted again. xD

If you're squeemish or easily frightened by shadowy characters good at sneaking around with a straight-razor, I would suggest you don't go see this movie.

PLEASE-- keep in mind this won't be done in less than a year. I'm only slightly handy with flash, so it'll be quite a while before this thing actually debuts; but don't let that get you down! I /will/ be doing this.

I'm going to try it-

A flash Phoenix Wright trial you actually get to play- and maybe even win! I have a plot in mind- that'll hopefully engage your Go-Go-Gadget ROFLcopters- and I'm strategizing on the coding, etc. The only thing is, I have only one idea for a witness character! And that, my good friends, is . iChesh will have to approve I use her- or her characters- but if you wanna get in on the trial-tastic fun, let me know in this journal!

SOME DETAILS:

+The defending attourney will not be Phoenix. How sad is that? The defense will be led by an OC of mine, Soh, who was created long before I had even heard of Phoenix Wright, Ace attourney. He does have a student, though. Her name is Eri- that's right, as in . She'll be tagging along and joking it up with Soh California as they battle against the prosecution- which will be---

+The Prosecution could be- you guessed it- YOU! But I'm not going to just accept you (or your character) in a snap. I need some good, hard evidence(har, har) that you have what it takes to be an Ace Prosecutor, like Miles Edgeworth or Godot. What do you say?

+I would tell you about the actual trial, but I'm not going to. Why? Because. I feel like enticing you to be in the trial. Why would this entice you? Because you'll have to record some of the classic catchphrases- Hold it! Objection! Take that! etc. Maybe even make up a few of your own.

+Despite that fact that Phoenix and Edgeworth are not the prosecution and defense, they are still a major part of this trial!

Basically, I really want to include others on this project, and getting others excited about it will help keep me motivated to work on it and get this puppy done, even when it seems like it'll never work!

Nanyway...

I got sick last night at like, six. It luckily wasn't strep, which is what I feared, but my throat still feels like a festering wound.

Which kinda sucks.

I also spent $66 dollars on present making materials for my RL friends, but it was stuff my /mom/ thought I should do and not my original plan, so I have to take all this crap back and lose about a week of work on their stuff. DD: Sorry, guys. Hopefully I'll be done before break comes!

I've been working on a DA Holiday picture too, not that it matters at all. xD It was fun to make, really quick and cute.

NANYWAY AGAIN...

I have two-three storylines killing my brain.

#1-- Can I Take Your Order?

+Would circle around The Slide and Rafa, Sean, Alex, etc. I just need to talk to my favorite ~Anime-vee to see if she wants to collaborate on a storyline and get permission to use her characters and stuff. So... I don't know if this will ever get off the ground. xD

#2-- GET A LIFE. COM

+I'm pretty sure this is gonna happen. It's a comic set up like Azumanga Daioh, or the strips you see in the newspaper. Short, sweet, and humerous- let's all laugh at my spelling, while we're at it. It would take place here, on DA, and anywhere I am. So basically, it's a plot centered around me and my daily screw-ups and my friends that kick you all in the face.


#3-- S i l e n c e d

+It's about a kid named Denzel (DENZLE. D< who lives in a world where only authority figures and the military can speak. Really cliched and stuff, but this is the one I'm kinda iffy about doing anything with.

Basically it for everything!

I severly suggest you get this book called "The Silenced." It's by James DeVita, the author of the book Blue. It's a really captivating and interesting novel based off some events in WWII and propaganda, but it's set in the future in the states somewhere. I loved it.

On top of the minor shtuff that happened- most of which I turned into jokes, like not getting enough salad dressing and missing assignments in english- I come home to bitter WI cold and no family-as always. Darn jobs and stuff! So then my mom gets home around five-ish. She and I start off pretty good, talking about our days as always. It's rather pleasant.

Cue: Jake. My big brother.

He comes home and says: OH HAI IDCARE ABOUT UR LIEF MY GF AND I ARE DOIN THIS AT SIX SO'S CAN WE EAT AFORE THEN? K BAI.

My mom, who's a teacher and extremely busy, busts a cap and freaks out about his entire life centering around his girlfriend. He fights back, blah blah blah, we get over it. We keep working on this dinner of ours. Jake, by the way, never eats dinner with us anymore. His GF never comes over anymore. WIN, JAKE! WIN!!

Cue: Cabinet- where we keep the flour and shtuff.

Mom opens said cabinet, tries to pull out the flour and sugar, and they open and spill all over.

Guess who used it last?

Me.

So, she starts firing at me about how I do everything half-assed and I need to pick up my life; I really need to learn to not stop caring halfway through whatever I'm doing pay better attention in class clean the house feed/walk the dogs vaccuum up this sugar right now. On top of this, I have homework- which my math teacher said I didn't do right- art homework (WTF.) and feel like utter crap about all things art right now. Seriously- I have everything I've ever drawn, and anything I've drawn today. It lasted forever, and one of my friends headlocked me and rammed me into a brick wall.

My art hasn't improved much- and I know I shouldn't rely on others to help- but it's hard to simply stare at my stuff for a long time and decide that something is wrong. SO I'm asking you- the coolest watchers ever- to help me out the slightest bit. If all you can think of to say is "Cool picture." then, maybe say why you liked it. If you can't, don't expect a reply from me. I love criticism. A lot. Surprises you, doesn't it? Even if one little thing is bothering you, point it out. It might make a world of difference.

I hope that I haven't offended anyone with this journal. I'm so greatful for the amount of support I get already. I don't deserve a quarter of it.

I just bought Phoenix Wright for DS- and I love it. It's fun and spunky and has good grapics etcetera.

BUT I HATE MISS APRIL FREAKIN' MAY. SERIOUSLY.

She's this little spinx wh*re who I have a habit of messing up with during Mia Fey's murder trial. I keep trying to cross examine herrrrrr but it won't wooooork. -whinewhine- It's so annoying. All the evidence makes sense in my mind, but the game dissagrees.

BUT EDGEWORTH. I COULD LOOK AT THAT GUY AND HIS ESCOTT ALL DAY. xDD Even if he is an evil mofo who needs to keep his mouth shut. -shakes fist-

Oh well. I guess I don't take after Soh much, but maybe he can help me out, here. Yay voices in my head! xD

My mom was walking our dogs in the state park our house borders and rushed into the house holding a baby bird. I instantly panicked, chucked a bookmark in my copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and rushed to get a box and squishy softness.

After much hyperventilation, the little baby has calmed a bit and is in a more sleepy state than one of shock. However, it's bothering me that the poor thing won't open its eyes. D: It's so cute. It's cheeped a minimal amount, but I hope and pray it gets better. I have a weakness for birds. xD It won't open its mouth to eat, either. It cheeps from its chest without opening its oral cavities.

Yep.

I'm going to watch Pan's Labrynth now... >_> <_<

AT THE MOVIES. -squeals and dies-

Mom and Dad already said yes and I'm all excited. D: This is AMAZING.

I'm making a pirate costume (ok, so technically NOT cosplay) with my friend Ra- WHO OWNS YOU ALL- and we're going to POTC3 in full regalia. xDD It'll be so fun. WEIRD STARES AHOY, MATEY!

I can just picture it:
Cashier: Two to... Pirates, I presume?
Me: Nope. We're here to see Spiderman 3. Why would you instantly assume we're here for POTC? -offended-
Ra: -silent fit of laughter-
Cashier: Mmk.
Me: I WAS KIDDING. OH EM GEE. DDDD<


And then we're making HOGWARTS ROBES. xD We're going to the earliest possible showing of Harry Potter: OOTP as the four houses. It'll be amazing. AND I GET TO BE GRYFFINDOR. -squeal/dance-

OH HOW HAPPY I AM.

In other news, a guy killed someone and dumped their body in the lake near my house. He's still at large. True story. I'm terrified AND happy! :>
