Been working on a lot of stuff and I've still got an overly booked schedule for the next couple of weeks until I leave to attend a wedding in Idaho. Trying my best to catch up on messages and whatnot, but honestly, I have read them and I really appreciate everyone who has written to me.

For now I'll be posting some stuff that should have been posted long ago. Some of it I won't get a chance to until I get whatever remains from the package I sent to comes back from Otakon (most likely when I go escape down to visit her hopefully next month).

So please be patient with me, I really have some nice stuff in store for those who like my fanfiction. Just cleaning up and getting some of my artist's alley work up here because it really does belong up here (though it'll be a slow process).

Also, world might be ending because *gasp* I've actually picked up AFM and started working on it again. Hopefully I can finish this blasted chapter soon. Getting close...in the early evening hours of the day now. I lost my flash drive with what I fully had done on it prior to taking my writer's block break on it, but it kind of worked out. I had no clue what I was thinking at where I left it (see, I'm silly...I back it up to my computer, but that was an older copy - the working copy was on the flash drive) so I made some new stuff up. Works out interestingly enough. Wonder if anyone'll notice where the break is from the last time I worked on it was and when I picked it up again.

...and hopefully no one wants to throw things at me for a particular character I'm bringing in.

So, 10 chapters thus far and no Heero showing up in the fic...I think I might have broken some sort of record since he's still a very central character to it. I got in what? 1 phone call? I'm mean. *goes back to torturing the boys again*

NaNoWriMo is coming up again soon and I'm debating writing original fiction like I did last year or using it to hammer out the last several chapters of Away From Me. I know I could make the word count no problem. Decisions, decisions...still got a month.

I've been working on a few cosplay items for both myself and a very close friend. Once I get at least the next piece completed, I'll take pictures of the parts and post them. Considering I poured a good 35-40 hours into one piece of mine alone (as well as taught myself a new skill for it, yay!)...yeah, and to be honest, that isn't even a main part of that costume, which I will not speak of further at this point in time.

But yeah, the whole writing thing. I have had simply no motivation to work on anything. I have the ideas, but not the energy to pour into flushing them out, and trust me, I better get a move on or the advisor of the Writing Group at school is gonna smack me until I cough up anything at this point.

Anyway, I haven't really been working on anything lately, and I mean anything. I've been trying to figure out how to get through the next chapter of Away From Me. It's the one chapter left before I actually get to some good stuff (well, the really interesting part for me anyway). It's been a wonderful journey and writing exercise so far. There are things I wish I had done differently, but I'm going to keep going with it as is.

As soon as I get motivated, I'm going to work on a small side-project costume that I had gotten the materials for a while back. The garment is fairly simple and shouldn't take me long to put together, but the props and the wig however are a little more involved.

I'm just not releasing what it is yet.

As for making ConnectiCon and/or Otakon...not sure still. Things generally don't look good.

So what have I been doing? This quarter is a heavy production quarter and I'm down to the wire now to get everything finished. I've got to finish my mix of "Flesh Twist Bone" by Animals Amongst Men (local band, but the recording my partner and I did was far superior to what they've currently got). This leads to the music video to said song that I'm nearly finished editing now. I'm just not happy with certain parts. Not happy with it overall, but I've gotta work with what I've got. Also have a presentation tomorrow in another class and then cramming for finals (or in my case, praying and hoping I remember stuff since my notes are about as scattered as I am these days).

On the more entertaining end, I've managed to read all of the Harry Potter books. *shakes her fist at and for prodding her about reading them* Also finally pushed to finish Phoenix Wright. Mostly because I refused to start playing The World Ends With You until I had. Quite enjoying the game...I actually quite enjoy the soundtrack to it as well, though I haven't gotten very far with it.

The creation of costumes has been put on hold for a little bit until things slow down a bit. Sometimes I feel if I'm not at school, then I'm at work and vice versa.

As for fanfic...other than posting them to my writing LJ, I've been working on small projects to get back into the swing of it because the fact that I've left AFM hanging as long as I have is pissing me off. Not sure when I'll pick it back up again. After finals, I'm leaving for Idaho for a week and then the weekend after I come back is AnimeNEXT. I'll be honest, I still don't know if I'm attending ConnectiCon or Otakon. Otakon is looking promising with my school schedule for next quarter (I go to a school with a whacked schedule, so I'm not confusing dates).

Thank you to everyone that stopped by and said hi. It was really awesome that there were people that knew me from here, cosplay.com, and other sites as well. I tend to be very quiet and try not to stick out too much.

Anyway, as I get pictures, I'll try and post them. I got very very very few of my own, but it seems like a running gag now with the throwing me into a random Organization XIII character to cosplay. That and my new obsession with playing Super Smash Bros Brawl with others online. It is awesome. I still laugh in regards to the one time I managed to send my opponent flying into the screen. It's one way to wind down the day. It's utter silliness and I really don't care that I completely suck at playing it.

Lets not even talk about the costumes that I need to finish preparing, and honestly, there's nothing really new. Well, there's Axel, but I'm making a new Organization XIII coat anyway right now. We're nearly done with the designing phase of the project. Next test will be made out of something thicker than muslin to truly see how the sizing is. It's hard working with someone else 'cause I say it'll be fine and she says it's too tight. Actually, it's still kinda loose in my opinion, but I know the change in fabric will make it fit right.

Plus I have set up a time frame that I need to have the wigs for a couple of returning costumes (one of them not mine) done by the end of this week. Mostly I'm kinda just upgrading current costumes.

Also have stuff to make for Artist's Alley. Been working on a new sweatshirt design, which I may post the images of completed ones, but I'm not sure if I'll get the Bleach sweatshirts I want done and this new one if it comes out decent. The embroidery takes a while to do, which is why I usually do them by commission only. But keep an eye out...I'll be back with more munny bags and some other goodies in Artist's Alley (as well as the occasional run through the con).

Though I feel kinda bad...most of my friends are prepping for Katsucon and here I am sweating the oncoming of Anime Boston.

Hey, I did a Gundam Wing holiday themed set of fics last year.

In any case, I'm also beginning to gear up for next year's round of conventions. My first aim is definitely Anime Boston (still working out if I can make it to Katsucon before that, but it's looking most likely for the moment). I've started reworking the pattern for my new Organization coat. Needless to say, I'm shooting for the absolute best, but everyone knows how anal I am about trying to attain accuracy. My current/last Organization coat, which has always admittedly been a prototype, was tossed together in about a week and a half along with the pants.

Overall I'm excited about it, but there are a couple of things regarding Anime Boston specifically that I'm looking forward to a lot as well. I almost dare say more than my new Organization coat. Almost...my new Organization coat is going to be hot (too bad I'm not).

Gundam Wing...yes, folks, you heard right, Gundam Wing cosplay. All five Gundam pilots in Preventer uniforms, though with me and at least our group's Trowa and Heero, we'll be doing manga versions. I've still gotta get Trowa's jacket back so I can finish what he wasn't able to, and I'm making Quatre's. That's what I know of the group right now. I've only heard rumors about other things.

All I have to say it that this is going to be awesome. Some of you know that I've been cosplaying Preventer Duo since Anime Boston 2006, mostly solo until I made a jacket for ~invader-gir who makes the most adorable Wufei. *runs for cover*

Next big group: Saiyuki Reload (manga). I'll be returning with youkai Hakkai and there will also be Sanzo, Seiten Taisei Goku, and Gojyo as well. Poor Gojyo hasn't even been started yet, but hopefully we'll get him going after finals because both of us are kinda feeling the pressure of projects, papers, and exams right now. Again, there's more rumors floating about this one, but I'm only posting what I know factually right now.

Again, this group is going to be an insane amount of fun...and anyone that tries to steal Sanzo's scripture will be dealt a slow and painful death. I spent way too much time on that thing for it to be damaged/stolen.

Oh no...am I forgetting Kingdom Hearts? My big main cosplay source nowadays? No. I'll be around with Deep Dive Riku again as well as Axel (right? *glances to the person helping her with him*). I'll have KH2 Riku as well most likely, though it'll probably be one of those watch me take a step outside and run back in 'cause it's too bloody cold. I'm looking forward to taking Axel out for a run, but I love cosplaying Riku in his Deep Dive outfit. I'm not sure why. I'd say it's the big black coat, but it might just be my obsession with said character.

There are some more cosplays that I'm looking forward to later in the year, but that'll come in time. I've been pretty down and out about cosplay...especially since MangaNEXT, but I'm slowly starting to get back onto my feet. ~invader-gir has been feeding my ego (though it's debatable if I even have one) recently...as well as my often ignored RikuRoku obsession.

Well, now that I've probably come across completely wrong, I'll end this. I'm tired and trying to finish up my prompt for today, but I've been working on the mockup of my new Organization coat so I've kinda gotten into that giddy cosplay mood.

Am I giving up those costumes? No. I'm just making a new Organization coat. It's about time I stopped running around with a prototype coat and made a real one. The "possibly" is only if I go to Katsucon and don't have my new Organization coat done by then. Then it'll be one more hurrah for my cloth coat. I'll pull it out every now and then depending on if I need for something.

Okay, onto new projects...those of you waiting for the finish of AFM, or me to do more with the KH fics I've been writing...a little longer. I signed up for NaNoWriMo. I know, I know...I should finish what I started, and in all actuality, I am. I've left my original works hanging by the wayside for years and this is the push I need to get back to working on them if I ever hope to be able to publish a book.

Oh, and for those of you who were at MN and were wondering why I was cosplaying Marluxia...yeah, that was random and unexpected. Axel wasn't ready yet and I was able to borrow that oh so hot wig from ...now I have people telling me that I need to cosplay Marly again. I really need to stop these random cosplays...I'm starting to scare myself never mind other people.

...and my shifts aren't yet over for the week, but I figured while I had a fraction of downtime, I'd check my messages. After that, I'm going to sleep (yes, I know, it's the middle of the day, but if I've gotten an average of maybe 3 hours a night this week, I'm doing extremely well).

In anycase, I've got a few backlogged that I haven't gotten to posting beyond LJ and 3 more in progress.

And yay...MangaNEXT is coming up soon. I can't wait to bring out some old and new costumes for it. Still not sure if Duo is going. With 3 KH and Hakkai, I'm not sure if I'd get to have him out for any significant length of time.

Yeah, I was going to try to post at least one challenge fic a day, but that just didn't happen yesterday obviously. I'll try to pound out an extra one somewhere along the line for the kingdom100 challenge at least (kinda taking my time a little more with the 20_heartbeats challenge), but I really just want to go back to bed right now.

For those of you wondering why the sudden burst of little fics, here's a link to my challenge tables.

Now I'm gonna go look at the two fics I've got started (both kingdom100 challenges) and see if I can remember what I was trying to do. I have a preference of pounding out a story in one sitting if I can (I go back at least several hours later to edit before I post), but...time isn't always on my side.

As for messages and such...I'll catch up with them at some point. Please be patient with me.

It's probably a bad thing that I joined an open writing group at school. The prompt I got for next week set my dirty little mind into overdrive since it went with another KH2 fanfic idea that I was toying with.

AFM is not forgotten...I keep working on it a little at a time. I'm still working through the writer's block. That and before I can really get going on that other fic I was talking about, I want to finish up Inclusive. I just need to go back and edit it. I'll probably post it sometime early next week.

Ah well, I need to get motivated to actually go get stuff done. I kinda just want to curl up with my laptop in a comfy spot and write during this dreary, rainy day.

I just couldn't resist posting pics of other people's costumes that I've worked on. Unless stated, the pics came from my camera, though most of the time, the people who had it were either silverado6000 or ...I'm horrible at remembering to take pictures.

Once I get through AB's pics, I'll work on ones from AN and CTcon. Those will more than likely not have come from my camera because it is kinda broke now. Just takes really crappy pics. I've been meaning to replace it for a long time, and once I have the money, I'll definitely be doing that. Hopefully BEFORE MangaNEXT, but I'm not sure yet.

I gotta prod a friend for some pictures he took of my KH2 Riku costume at CTcon so those may be a lot more delayed. I didn't get many pictures there because I was working the MadGear/Desktop Arcade booth most of the weekend.

Anyway, a BIG thank you to for prodding me into finally submitting my cosplay pics. I'm a bad Riku...not submitting stuff.

What's up with AFM11? Working on it. Finally got past a block I had, but it's been rough still. That and I've got another KH2 fic in progress that I want to finish up quickly (before I never finish it). It's a challenge I made for myself and we'll see what the end result will be. Will I talk about it? No. It's a surprise.

Hopefully soon I'll be taking orders and commissions for things that I was selling at AnimeNEXT and ConnectiCon (maybe some new stuff as well), but I need to see what DA's rules are about it.

Also, I'll have a quick KH one-shot to post soon. Well, as soon as I get the okay back. Don't want to be posting garbage and with it being my first KH fic, I figured I'd better get a second opinion first.

Where are the pictures from all these cons I've gone to? Well...my camera doesn't work properly anymore, so I have to wait for my friends to get the pictures off of their cameras, but I try not to be pushy.

As for future cons...as much as I want to go to it, MangaNEXT is a tentative right now. Depends on how things are going in RL will depend on if I can make it. Anime Boston is my main con for the year if for nothing else then I get to see all my friends there. That and it really is the closest con to me at the moment...until the Providence Anime Conference comes into being.

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has written to me in regards to my last post. You guys are so awesome and I feel bad that I haven't responded much. Still not fully healed, but getting there slowly.

In any case, I'm off to AnimeNEXT this weekend. I'll be bringing along Deep Dive Riku, Preventer Duo Maxwell (artbook version), and KH2 Riku which I literally just finished not an hour ago (spent some time running around in it). So yeah, my outfit for KH2 Riku is a lot on the thrown together side, but...ah well, I'll have fun with it anyway if nothing else.

So if anyone is heading for AnimeNEXT this weekend, don't be afraid to say hi. I'll be in Artists Alley off and on to sell some wonderful little munny bags that I've been making.

How am I doing this with my hand and wrist in the condition it's in...well, I've been getting help, but...it's weird, I didn't think I did as much work as I did until it was pointed out to me.

I was probably too busy cursing Nomura to really keep track.

Also gotta apologize for taking so long to post this, but...I kinda did a number on my hand and wrist (dominant). The kind of damage that they send you to physical therapy for.

I almost wished it happened in Aikido, or I got into a fight with my keyblade, but I honestly am not sure what happened...I could make up a story though, I'm sure. But the truth is, it just gave out from all the work I've been doing lately. That's my best take on the situation anyway.

My typing ability is limited since I mostly end up typing with just my good hand (and boy is it getting tired).

I've been down for about 2 weeks now. Pushed out chapter 10 of AFM and kinda just changed my focus on to teaching myself to do things with my other hand (though my handwriting is worse than a 5-year-old's).

I'm trying to get Riku's KH2 outfit done in time for AN, but I don't think it is going to happen even with help.

...and I feel wicked bad at being so far behind schedule on writing it.

In any case, hopefully I'll be picking it up again within the next couple of weeks. There has simply been a lot going on in my real life that I haven't had the time or energy to devote to it. AFM means a lot to me, so I don't want to simply throw together a chapter just to have something to show...especially since chapter 10 seems to be one of my more "dead" chapters. Dead being I really have to work to make it interesting.

However, I have been gearing up again, working on another fic that probably won't go anywhere since I can't seem to make it work, but it's getting me back into writing again. So once the quarter is over (with the way my school schedule is, you'd wonder what kind of crack my college is on), I'll be going back to it.

Unfortunately, it still has to compete with the munny bags I'm making to sell at AnimeNEXT and Riku's KH2 outfit. Also, I'm in the process of trying to get another job to at least supplement my current job.

I'm kinda depressed that my camcorder died during cosplay chess and the people who were working it for me (since I was up on stage blindfolded) had a hard time handling it (not like it's XL-2 or anything). Both my little stint in the dating game harassing Sora and as a piece in cosplay chess were wicked fun. I thought I was going to die both times when the audience simply started cheering wicked loudly.

During the dating game, they didn't know I was hiding in a dark corner waiting for someone to tell me to come out so I could lay into Sora about choosing to go on a date with someone other than Kairi (this wasn't the yaoi game so I had to keep it nice and clean). Anyway, I literally took 2 steps to come out of hiding and promptly went deaf. Yay! Deaf and blind. Good times...

For cosplay chess, they didn't even wait until my name was announced nor for me to come out because they put 2 and 2 together when K-san said that only one person could be on the angst team to be opposite Sora. I hope to have at least that part of the cosplay chess vid up at some point. Cutscenes are fun...

So much else to say...I'll just keep editing this until I get everything.

While I have a huge obsession with Kingdom Hearts (mostly with Riku), I'm really excited about my Saiyuki Reload cosplay. More excited that the manga with my version of Hakkai being released on Tuesday (or it should be anyway...if not I'll survive with being a walking spoiler).

I'm not happy with how his wig is coming out. I switched over to working on Sanzo's, which is just being styled until said cosplayer arrives a week from Monday (gonna make him wear it and then cut it on his head, which I'm sure I'm going to owe him a few bottles of JD for going near his head with scissors). I can't wait to see him again, but I'm getting a kick out of the Gojyo-like antennea that I gave his wig. I'll work on it a little more later.

KH2 Riku is only progressing because I got the contacts in finally for him. I can't wait to try them...I'll wear them with my Deep Dive and Deep Dive rave outfits for Riku even though most of the time you won't see them.

Hopefully with having taken the week before AB off, I can get in some time working on AFM again, but it may or may not happen since my other half there procrastinated to the point where I have to step in and help him finish up when he's here. I love my boy, but sometimes he makes me want to bang my head against a wall multiple times.

Finals are coming up hot and fast. Yes, my school has a weird schedule. Anyway, I'm down one project and one paper so far, but I've still got one more paper, two written finals, and one presentation which is probably going to amount to nothing more than publicly embarrassing myself.

Kinda feel like I'm getting off easy, but I've also been working almost non-stop on costumes. I really have no hope of getting KH2 Riku done before Anime Boston. Ah well, I guess there's always AnimeNEXT. No, not all the costumes on my list have to be done for AB, but most of them do. KH2 Riku, Miyako (regular), and Hihumi are not needing to be done for next month.

I really want to make KH2 Riku, but we'll see how many people I can frighten as Hakkai in his youkai form. That should be fun.

Now, be it by far for me to complain, but what I want to throw out here on the table for those of you who are probably calling me a slacker or something, is that I work full-time, I go to school full-time, and I have responsibilities that end up taking up most of my spare time, not to mention what little precious time I have now is being poured into costume making if I'm not doing some sort of mad dash to get homework done. I really, truly, and honestly want to keep working on AFM, but...if I get 2 sentences in a week at this point, I'm doing damn good. Also, I do need my down time or I'll burn out completely and that just equals to absolutely nothing getting done.

So, in short, I have no idea when chapter 10 will be done. I'll keep dragging along my poor laptop and trying to fit in a few moments at school to get just a little more written, but I'm not going to kill myself trying to get it done.

What else is new, right? Well, I'm still trying to punch out the next chapter of AFM, but I'm finding myself lacking a lot of time that I used to have to work on it. Why, outside of the usual work and school? The con season is approaching quickly and that means that I've gotta haul tail on getting costumes done. Which right now I'm doing neither and just plain old being lazy, but I have been dragging my laptop with me to school to work on it there...just getting long again 'cause it's my last ditch effort to explore a few things before everything starts going crazy.

Anywho...as for the addition to my cosplay lineup, lets just hope that I stop changing my mind now on the formal attire for Anime Boston's Cherry Blossom Ball. While I'd love to do a formal version of Riku or Duo, I have been requested to attend at least this year as a female (guess my date has issues about attending with a guy). It's really hard to choose, ya know? That and to choose something that'll be fast and easy. At least when doing original designs, you can do things your way, but I'm still going to try to have elements of Miyako's shinigami uniform in the ball gown I'm going to be making beyond the coloring scheme. Though I have a feeling that no one would honestly recognize me even in her shinigami uniform since she's such an obscure character. I'll know and I guess that's all that really counts. That and I want to make a shinigami uniform someday, hopefully in time for MangaNEXT the latest so I can enter the cosplay contest there with both it and youkai Hakkai.

And to the person that suggested that I cosplay Relena...yeah, it isn't ever going to happen so forget it.

Oddly enough, December has actually been a fairly eventful month for me. It has been a long month and I'm still surprised that Christmas is only a few days away now. Haven't had a chance to work on AFM lately which makes me sad, but with Aikido tests, finals, Christmas shopping, and who knows what else out of the way, maybe I can get back to working on that. Either that or I'll just go back to playing KH. Though, lets not talk about how much FF3 I've played, but that's portable and fills in the gaps while I'm waiting for things to render or print to video (or for the laundry to finish).

Though I'm still in the beginning stages of battling it out with my cellphone company - it's pretty much how I'm going to start off 2007, which probably isn't a good thing.

Ah well, people have their chocolates and gifts and what not so now where that filled in a lot of my weekends, I can go back to mad sewing. Yay...

Sounds like the party is going to be coming to an end soon so I guess I better get back to being productive. Yeah...right.

I wouldn't say that I have hope now, but I know that I can make something of myself (or I'd like to believe that anyway). For several months, I kept looking forward to when I would join the ranks, but after awhile I just got use to being one of the few in the dojo that simply wore a white gi (and being the only female of that group). Once I stopped trying to constantly compare myself to the others...to try so hard to be like them, it all started falling into place. It was nice to be told after my test that people thought that my test was really good even though I still know the flaws I made. I wasn't on the outside watching so it's hard. I'm sure someone will give me a copy of the video.

Now, why am I writing about this, you ask. Outside of the fact that it is something that has been hanging over my head and I'm happy to be through it (though now my next test is to find a reasonably priced hakama and make sure it fits right and then learn to tie and move around in it)...I started thinking about how it compares to other things. Yes, I still look up to both my sensei sempai and hope someday be on a level closer to them, but there are others that I look up to in various other areas, such as artists, writers, even cosplayers. People that I want to be like. Now, don't mistake me - I want to be my own person, but I want to strive to be able to be on the same level as these people (or at least closer). At the same time, I don't always notice my own progress, but for those of you that review or favorite my works, I am always very, very touched and quite honoured that you appreciate my work that much.

Another thing is that while I often tell people that it's the journey, not the goal that is important, I often forget it myself. Yes, I know the end of AFM, but you know what...I don't know the middle, so what's going on is something that I'm just letting happen - I didn't plan it this way. Eventually it will lead to the very vague ending that I have in mind. MD kinda ended up the same way...especially towards the end even though I knew what I wanted to do generally in that chapter. The part of chapter 5 that will possibly have people hurling objects at my head I didn't even think of until I got into writing the chapter and then it just kinda flowed in.

Ah well, I'm not posting chapter 3 until Friday so have fun waiting...

Anyway, I suppose an update on my thoughts about my progress on my somewhat new project. I was estatic when I finished MD02 yesterday and while I only have 25% listed right now for MD03, I have gotten quite a good chunk of it done, but I'm not familiar with writing for this character so I have to go back and flush it out a bit to get his thoughts in there better. What's good about it is that mentally it's helping me get an idea what to do for chapters 4 and 5...especially since I'm not famliar with writing for either of those characters as well.

I haven't forgotten about AFM either...in the back of my head I'm still working on chapter 10, though there's another GW character that I want to bring in for a quick cameo, but I'm not sure if I want to do it in the next chapter or in chapter 11.

Maybe after MD is over I'll start taking another look at a set of fics that I started either late last year or early this year (honestly, I forget now) and see if I can start bringing that back inbetween all the AFM updates...though moreso as the chapters slowly bring the story to a close.

Ah well...I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving now because I figure when I get home tonight, I'll just start cooking. So if I don't see ya folks for a bit, have a good holiday. I'll be debating bringing my keyblade to dinner.

Anyway, on another sad note, AFM will effectively be put on hold after this chapter in lieu of getting MD done and out on time. After that, I go back to my normal schedule (or try to anyway) with AFM. MD, for this run of it at least, will only be 5 chapters long and I hope to be able to release each chapter on every Friday in December (don'tcha just love the irony of my planning? No, you can't shoot me or I'll never finish AFM). That's my goal anyway. Once I finish writing the chapters, regardless of if they've all been posted or not, I promise that I'll go back to AFM.

's journal entry on about giving up seemed to come at just the right time. Heh...yeah, I have a lot of people that I look up to around here even if I can't list them as friends as much as I would like to. I'll be honest, I was seriously considering it. Like I want to pick up my guitar and start playing again even though I suck, but I'm afraid to do so because I'm not good and I don't know if I'll ever get any better. I wanted to do it for an odd idea I had after reading some (not so good, but had good ideas) fanfics, but it's hard to get myself psyched up enough to start taking a step towards that goal.

If I'm going to do it, I first need to clean my room and then get one or both of my guitars (I have an acoustic and an electric) out of my closet so that I'll have to look at them. Then I'll probably pick one of them up and start trying to play again out of the fact that it's there.

Ah well...hopefully things will get better soon, but to be honest, anyone who knows me knows how I get around the holidays and through the winter.

I met another of silverado's fangirls. She's been afraid to talk to me for some reason. Don't know what I did to cause that.

I was hoping to have Kage done for today, but I've got the whole background that I drew as an after thought to do now. I'll try to plug away at more tonight. I surprised myself with it even though it isn't the best, but I almost never do backgrounds. Yeah, I really need to get back into drawing even if it's just random crap that'll never see the light of day beyond my little travel sketchbook.

Ah well...I've put MD down for a bit and picked AFM up again. I'm a bit behind schedule 'cause I forgot my flash drive yesterday. That and I've gotta get going on all those costumes so I can feel like I'm accomplishing something.

Finished MD1, but you won't see that until December. Haven't touched AFM9 in lieu of MD and SE. I'll pick it up again next week. I just don't want to get stuck with MD in December and be forced to rush the chapters.

That and the costumes coming up are starting to take the forefront again in terms of needing to be done in time for Anime Boston. I've taken two off the list because I really don't know if I can get to them. Not that silverado really cares...it was for my own amusement anyway and he kinda just gets drawn into my madness. If I have the time, I'll do them. If not...they'll get back on there at some point.

I really need to post my Idaho pictures...they're really pretty even though my camera normally sucks. Been sitting on them so long. I'm probably going to make a few available as prints since they are quite nice.

Speaking of pics...I'm still waiting for the pics from a friend of mine which shows my Riku outfit so much better than what my camera does. That and I wasn't so ragged during those pictures I think. Not sure...I was blindfolded and even though I can see where I'm going...I can only see where I'm going in good light. I'm really looking forward to some of the ideas for pictures that invader-gir and I have been discussing for AB. I still need to get a camcorder that runs on the tapes that I use for school on the off chance that we manage to pull together the film-like project that we were discussing quite a while ago. That and I just need a camcorder period, but I can't afford a GL-1 never mind an XL-2. *grumbles about the cost of equipment* Though honestly, I'd really like to get into DJing, but that's neither here nor there. I'm one of those people that you can put in an (video) editing booth and leave me there for hours and I'll be content. Just remind me to eat.

Geez...I've gotta stop taking on projects like this. Technically SE is done, but I want to clean it up a lot and kind of ellaborate now that I'm able to play with reference materials. I've got the rough done for Kage. Having a very very very hard time with her feet though. Sorry folks, AFM 8 is gonna be even later than expected. I'm not sure if I'm actually going to enter 's contest, but I want to get back into drawing again. Granted, taking on drawing Kage in IIDX's Eden style should be interesting, but at least I also have the fanfiction component and maybe it'll get me to get off my butt and actually write more of Kage and Eikou's story. I'll keep bouncing back and forth, plugging away at AFM and MD as much as I can, but I'm kinda taking it easy right now. I've just got a lot on my mind in terms of real life. Maybe someday I should sit down with one of my friends and talk to them about it, but for now, we'll see where everything leads.

That and one of these days I'm gonna make a little preview thingy for AFM...seeing the text all the time gets kinda aggravating.

Fingers still hurt from all the sewing yesterday. Pins and needles and they always seem to find a way to stick into me. I'm hopeless, I know.

On the good side of things, hopefully now we'll be able to make outfits a little faster since my mother just got the call that the dress form I got her for her birthday (it's still rather early) is in at the store now. My coat for Riku will be the first piece that we'll have on it since the length is starting to get rather cumbersome to try and maneuver it around on a table. Actually, the real test will be the 3rd Preventer jacket once I get the measurements (not that I know what ones she wants still). Lets just say that it will be a significantly different size than silverado's and mine.

I wonder if there's a way to put a wig head on the dress form...

Anyway, here's to hoping that we get both Riku's outfit and the partial Sanzo prototype done before I leave on Saturday. This sucks...having finals this week and a ton of homework still to do plus needing to find time to pack and whatnot.

In other news, I went to go update my AFM8 progress below and was about to type in a higher number except I'm not all that far along in the day. I've written quite a bit, but I haven't covered nearly enough of the day to be at the higher percentage. Poor Duo, I torture him so...

Wheee...spent way too much time last night getting my coat and pants for Riku started. It won't take me long to get the pants together. The coat is going to get held up until the zipper comes in. Still gotta work on the blindfold, but someone was kind enough to give me gloves. Gonna look a little odd since they're like a pleather and the coat itself is garbadine, but hey, I think people will be looking at the shiny thing on my head and the keyblade of doom it sounds like is making, rather then at my hands.

Shiny thing on my head = wig. I have some pics of it (very bad ones) in my scraps area. I love that wig...it's so pretty.

Anywho, I'm just nervous that I won't get it done in time for some reason. That and my visiting someone very special to me. Just as a note, it isn't the flying part that has people yelling at me to stop thinking about it.

So much going on...barely got AFM7 out in time for my extended deadline. Yeah, I'm not going to try and explain how these things work. In anycase, it'll be prolly a good 3 weeks or so before AFM8 is ready since I'll be on vacation (yes, a real vacation) during a good portion of that time. While I may get some written during that time, I'm not going to push it. Not with finals the week before I leave.

Honestly, I'm feeling kinda burnt out and that's why I'm starting to take my time instead of really trying to pound the chapters out. It isn't due to AFM that I'm burnt out...far from it. Usually that's my break from the rest of things, but sometimes I just don't have the energy for anything. I'm spending more time on the phone nowadays, calling someone very special to me, than I am doing much else outside of my normal routine. Guess I'm just needing to try and get my real life in order since things are changing so quickly.

Guess I've been kinda on the lonely side lately since all my friends live far away from me and the person I want to see most right now lives the farthest. That and I kind of want advice about things, but I'm too afraid to ask.

Anyway, I'll try to get lots of neat pictures for you guys from my vacations. I'm kinda splitting it up into two since I'm going to visit someone and then the day after I get back, I'm turning around and heading down to MangaNEXT.

Uh...so tired right now. Spent the day cutting material out. Between the coat and pants for Riku (I actually had gotten enough material to also make a pair of pants as well which rocks) as well as some stuff for Sanzo's prototype, I'm dead tired. Keep in mind that (a) neither silverado nor I are short and (b) my coat is going to be fully lined. The amount of material to be cut out adds up pretty damn quick. Estimated 20 yards alone for the coat and pants...I didn't even touch the material for the blindfold. Add another 5 yards for the one piece of the prototype for Sanzo...I'm surprised my hand still works.

Heh...not so much general whining as feeling like I didn't get much accomplished today. This costume wasn't slated to be completed until next year and I'm kinda worried because this is yet another costume that we didn't make a prototype for first due to time constraints. The last one was just the red shirt for my manga version of Duo's Preventer outfit. I ended up remaking that one because the sizing of the pattern was so messed up. In the end, that was good due to the fact that I like the material I used for the second one better than the first.

Ah well...with getting this one done early, maybe I can put rave!Heero back onto my list for silverado.

Somehow I'll get my homework done...

Okie...slowly getting back to working on AFM7. Wrist is still kinda iffy if it wants to play nice or not. AFM8 is definitely going to be late. Why? I'm going on vacation in a few weeks after finals are over and before the next quarter starts. I'm actually going away for vacation. I hope to come back with lots of pictures to share since it should be quite scenic. Where am I going? Well, I think I'll keep it a bit of a secret for now, but I will hopefully be hitting up MangaNEXT shortly after I get back. May or may not have a new costume for that one, though I need to fix my pants for the manga version of Preventer Duo.

Anyway, I'll see about getting AFM7 out soon. The Aikido dojo picture weirds me out because it's such a quiet and gentle scene...when only 10 minutes earlier I was getting my sorry tail thrown around it. Also seems bigger than it is, but maybe it is that big and we're just that tight-knit of a group...sorta. I always end up being the black sheep somehow.

I have not yet had a chance to have it looked at so I don't know what I did. I will continue to try and get it out for my personal deadline of Saturday, but it really isn't looking likely.

So many things going on, and of all my classes that I have, the one I have that's online is driving me nuts. I can't keep up for some reason. *grumble*

Anyway, outside of I realized that my deviantID is outdated now, I'm hoping to get some things accomplished over this long weekend such as more progress on cosplay stuff (which I need to finish making my list), get through more of Kingdom Hearts (so need to be playing KH2 by Anime Boston so I know what's going on outside of I'm running around wearing a really cool costume blindfolded), and homework. I'd like to get chapter 7 done this weekend, but dunno if I am. The keyboard on my desktop likes to go on the fritz whenever I try to work on it and I think my Powerbook's battery might be on recall. Yeah, haven't checked that yet.

Just generally tired, but still trying to push through. I wanna go check out the Providence Place Mall at some point now that I know how to get there...well, I still don't know where the parking garage is actually...

Hopefully I'll make it to King Richard's Faire at some point, but my RenFair costume isn't even designed let alone completed (except for the cloak because I bought that last year and works well to hide things).
