Last day before my subscription to dA expires, and I turn into scum.

Good times, good times. I'll miss the crappy search feature the most. Trying to find the before and after deviations of that banana sent though the mail were just too much for the poor little thing. (Oh, if you happen to know the link of those deviations, let me know o__o)

Will get around to art. I'm ill with illness at the moment. Maybe sitting around in bed gives me a good chance to do something. I did draw an illustration of for her 18th birthday party invites though. That's about it. Learning Adobe Illustrator right now, and just getting the hang of it. When I go back home I'll have to find my copy of it and bring it back to Melbourne with me.

I promise, I'll have some real deviations soon. Still getting used to the new tablet (it doesn't seem to have any levels of pressure. I'm probably doing something wrong....) And my new computer came. For those who don't know, Shaun of the Dead is coming to Australia in late October this year. Joy!

I have myself a new tablet! A Pink Wacom Graphire 3 for $140AU, which is about the same size as my last one. There was a palm sized Acecad tablet for about $10 less, but I am not going to them again -_- I'm happy with my new one. At least I'm guaranteed replacement pens and nibs now. I have to wait until Dad leaves for Cabramurra again. He'll get upset, because I'm supposed to be saving money. I am supposed to be saving money, but I need the tablet for school.... (and it was his fault that the last tablet pen died *pout*)

Oh, I think the computer may be back tonight. I've been busy sketching (nothing good, though), and has something brilliant for me to scan in. The TV is also back and will hopefully stay back this time. Woo! ...I don't like TV at the moment.... ugh.

School ends this Friday, the weather is cooling down, Shaun of the Dead opens in a week (in the UK, but it's still one step closer to the Australian release ), I bought myself Black Books Series 1 without guilt, my sister is getting a tonsilectomy, which means no noise from her for a while (and this is VERY good!), not to mention my hair doesn't look shite. I'm feeling very good right now :3 Apart from the two hours of sleep I got last night, I'm feelin' super. It's going to rain today. Eee!

Maybe it's a good thing I won't be on. I have a week long English SAC (sort of like an Exam, but not as restricted) coming up.

My CD player eats up battery power so much, I have to take the batteries out every time I'm not using it. It drains power away when I'm not using it. If I leave them in for a few days without using it, I come back and it would have enough power for 30 mins of music. I bought some rechargeable batteries today. Hopefully they'd save me.

I've just found out on the local news that our school's average temperature does not qualify for government funding of air conditioners!! AAAAAARRRGHHHHH!!! I am so very po'd right now. It was 41 Celcius the other day. As mentioned in an earlier journal entry, we keep cool by throwing water at each other. This is shite. This is so shite. Rant rant rant. Kill killl kill. The primary school nearby had to raise money for their own air conditioners, but now they have to rasie even more to re-wire all the electrical wires in all the buildings to accomodate them. My art teacher has been kind! She gave me soft pastels, oil pastels, pencils, charcoal pencils and watercolour pencils, just for me to use! I think it's a reward for being so nice in class i.e. I didn't throw clay at windows/doors/celing fans/art/people/animals/her Well, fair enough, right?

Mum and I were going to see The Cat Empire at FReeZA, but it's really a youth thing. She just found out that they're playing an outdoors gig at Eldorado, so we're going to see that! Pumped. I wish Lemon Jelly were still coming to Australia...The Stauton Lick makes me happy.

I've done another collab picture with ~ xlorien. Only a small one, but I've got about 2 more she wants me to do. One involves a horse I can't do horses!! Well, she's lent me a few books that would be very useful for reference. Super.

I'm back in drama school now ! Great fun. Lots of younger kids too. I hope it won't interfere with my studies though... I love it! But going into Albury for the whole day is going to give me troubles. I hate going in, especially in summer.

Getting Final Fantasy X-2 in a week or two! I'm so lucky I won a copy. It's selling for nearly $100AU here ! The promotions should start rolling out by the end of this week. Goofy, who's supposed to have a higher defence, seems to loose a lot of HP more quickly than the others I've also had the Beast in the party recently, and I heard him say "GOOFY!!"!! I had to pause the game for a few moments to recover from how "goofy" he sounded. I've also realised that I've been printing on the sticky paper X( I noticed the paper was bubbling slightly, which I thought was weird for normal paper, then it quickly dawned on me I'd been printing on the sticky paper the whole time. Hmm...well, it's not all that bad I guess. There's always cartons of the stuff on eBay, though I'd hate to see how much shipping would cost.

Anyway, expect a whole mess of GBC photos soon.
