I just wanted to thank everyone who kept me in their prayers and hopes. The antibiotics seems to have done the trick. Though I still have a cough, it's no where NEAR as horrible as I was when I first got the flu. Anyways, many thanks to all, you guys are something great like... peanut butter and chocolate.

If you ever have an opprotunity to get a really bad case of the flu, take my advice and pass, you're not missing out on alot. I haven't been doing too well for the past couple days, I had to vacate from school after my first class. Thankfully, my Nutrition instructor was kind enough to give me a make up exam next week. Anyways... yeah having the flu sucks, I can't concentrate enough to do jack. I can't draw, heck I can't even play videogames and you KNOW there's something wrong with that. I tried playing Bust-A-Move earlier and I kept shooting the wrong color bubbles on the wrong color stacks.

Anywho... I just wanted to give a little update as to what I've been dealing with. Now I think I'll drug myself up nice and have a nap. Take care peoples.

That's right, the 3rd of September ol Jonny boy is going to be 30 years old. All I have to say is... it sure as heck doesn't feel like 30. Ah well so far all my parts are working in adequite order so I'm not worried about organ issues as of yet. But I techincally am old enough to say "Y'know back in MY day we..." seeing as how Generation X is long gone.

So how old am I timeline wise? Well just to give you kids an idea, when I was a kid CD players were NEW. Thats right my first CD walkman was a piece-o-crap with a battery life of about thirty minutes. Back then G-Shock was a new thing too, and it ususally cuts the average CD walkman's life from 30 to 15 minutes of constant play. I remember going on road trips with the family to visit relatives and my walkman would die out halfway there.

So anyways... Yeah... 30. Guess I should celebrate or something.

Because DevArt is supposedly for art and not mellow-drama I decided to keep random journal-ish inputs about every-day ordinary mundaneness to a blog. It can be found here at [link]

I'll be putting up my thoughts as they come to me (which can vary from days to years). Probably about gaming junk and nostalgia.

Net friends are welcome.

Well, my subscription expires on the 30th, and I'm most likely not going to renew for a while. I'm not closing shop completely, but until I get my digital resources back to get some moderately decent artwork going I see very little point in keeping a subscription only for the sake of doing scrap-worthy sketch work. So until then I'm going to revert to what I was way back in the early 2000s, a humble freebie member.

I'm going to keep submitting sketches to my scraps, but it'll be quite some time before my gallery gets anything submission worthy. To all those excellent DA artists who befriended me and inspired me to keep drawing, and to my ample list of watches who gave me input and support, you both get my humblest of thanks.

Until next time,

~ JMax out!

Fear not DA freinds, I did not delete my collection of buddy icons and stamps out of malice and discontempt. I just wanted to make my journals simple and easier to read without a bunch of stuff to pilot around. As you can tell my DA page is ridiculously simple now as I plan on keeping it.

Oh and if any of you yearn to see new sketches from me I suggest making my 'scrapbook' a part of your alert-list, until I get my MacBook digitially up to speed my ink sketches will be submitted to my scraps section. Thank you for your patience.
