Hi there!

This is me (not looking my best ) holding my most prided drawing!



I was looking for pictures of Rossi's 46 as he uses it on his bike, & typed "valentino rossi 46" into a Google image search

& what do I see? My artwork as the first two results of the search, only the watermark was removed & it had been used in a small graphic that a designer has used to accompany a blog entry of his on his website.

Now, I'd be flattered by this but not only did he edit out my water mark all he's written about the image is:

"Edit: sorry, was totally headbanged by the race, forgot to tell something about the image:46 .used an inked image transformed from a poster, added the official rossi colour ( Yamaha Camel ), picture previously used at my ole’ blogger account."

So where's my credit? I don't appreciate him just using my art however he sees fit without even acknowledging me.

I'm currently typing an e-mail to send, asking for the image to be removed or proper credit given to me & links back to my gallery here.

Soon I will have my very own Dell desktop computer
It will not be on the internet, but it will be nice & quick & able to support my heavy use of photoshop unlike this old mule of a machine I'm on now.

This machine is showing it's age & works terribly slow, which is the main reason why I have not uploaded any photos. It takes about 30 minutes to actually transfer the photos from my camera to the hard drive, a further 15 minutes for photoshop to open, each photo to prepare for deviantART takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on what I decide to do, as about 20 minutes to that for photoshop being slow because of the computer, then it's about 15 more minutes to open firefox & find deviantART, once in dA it only takes about another 15 minutes to get the the uploading of images point, which can take anywhere between 10-20 minutes because looking through the folders is a slow task.... & you get my point.

With the new computer the only thing that I will be concerned with on this computer is the internet side, so it won't be such a task to upload something new... & I have everything between September & now to upload so hopefully in another week or two you'll see the beginning of my upload spree

2006

Well, to keep it short & sweet in 2006 I got hired, fired, hired again, I bought lots, lost little, started a devART gallery, I got chipped, got laid, got sick (for 7 weeks), got dumped, learnt to dance, got drunk, made a friend, got high, go hung over, saw the AussieGP, went broke, bought DVDs, went to pubs, got drunk again, went to the cinema, turned 19, lost a friend, went to a party, more drunkeness, rented movies, misfortune of head lice (Scott is so gonna die for that), Saw family for Christmas, got cold shoulder, Saw family for boxing day, pissed off with 3 other family members, played the Sims2 most of the day everyday for a week, missed a text inviting me out for New Years, watched movies, got rid of lice.

buuuut, I'm hoping 2007 will be a better year!

& just a special thanks to fellow deviants such as Pedro, Emma, Manjit, Anmar, Farah, David & asiaq for being such awesome artists & great people! Lovers the lot of ya!!

I've no idea, I don't even know if they had even started chosing before they found out I was a girl...I could possibly have been "Sean" as that was a name Mum wanted for my brother, only they went with my Dad's choice of name, so possibility of me being "Sean" if I had've been a guy would be logical. I'll have to ask about that.

Are there any mispronunciations/typos that ppl do w/ your name constantly?
At work on the phone I often get mistaken for "Hannah" & once someone thought I introduced myself as "Karen", how they got that I'll never now!

Originally I was worried about the weather, as the people I am visiting were saying that I'd be freezing my arse off down here, well, turns out that they are the ones feeling the cold most.
Anyway, I am not going worry about uploading any photographs I've taken, as I came here to see people, not to use the internet. I've quite a few deviations sitting pretty on my Grandfather's computer, but as they didn't have the internet I didn't upload any. It just means that as of Wednesday it will most likely be a week of deviations. I got some really nice pictures out the plane window, I was sitting behind the wings & had an interesting view of the sky with the wing cutting into it, & being an early morning flight there was a variation of tones throughout the trip.
Anyway, I've been in Melbourne since early Thursday morning & have decided that when I move down here I will go missing for a week as I'll get hopelessly lost trying to find my own way around. That's what I get for living in a country area all my life! Not much was done yesturday, as we were waiting for two people to finish work & one to arrive from a drive down from NSW. Today, the guys worked again & us girls went shopping, making sure we stopped at a bottle-O to get some Vodka. Which means tonight I am getting drunk.
