started work on (another) new project today and was wondering if there are any artists out there interested in working on a creator-owned project with me.  It would initially be un-paid work, but, if the project is picked up, would definitely quickly become paid work. You would have to be serious about drawing comics, ie, able to turn out sequential pages reasonably quickly, and you MUST be able to draw humans.

All I want to say about the project so far, is that's called 'NEW GODS,' and it would be something we build / create together.

just lettin' ya know that Issue #4 of TRANSFORMERS: IRONHIDE will be hitting the shelves tomorrow.  This issue is drawn by my very good friend, Casey Coller, and it is actually Casey's last bit of work for a while.

I know I'm not (even close to) the only one who will missing seeing Casey's work gracing the pages of Transformers comics.  Casey is a down-right talent, who, for me, is squarely placed in the 'new wave' of Transformers artists.

Don't know why, but the other day I started thinking about a game from years back called X-COM: Ufo Defence (or UFO: Enemy Unknown pending wher you live).  Man, that game was freakin' sweet!!! So, I've been pretty quite on here the last couple of weeks, and that's because of two things.

Firsty, I made my first trip out of the country and headed to the States for BOTCON 2009.  It was an absolute BLAST!!! I got to meet so many wickedly awesome people in person that I've had the pleasure of dealing with through Mosaic. Everyone is SUPER nice and made the whole 4 days so enjoyable.  I also got to do my first signing (for Spotlight: Jazz) and it was pretty damn cool, really made the whole thing feel 'real.' So, I found out the other day, that posibly the BEST show on TV has been cancelled.

FOX announced that Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles will not be picked up for another season.

YOU'RE FUCKING JOKING RIGHT?!!

This show was plain AWESOME and the finale for Season 2 was MIND-BLOWING!!!  AND, there's a new movie coming out, which is gonna kick all kinds of ass.

Before I get into it, I have to say that Supernatural is one of the best shows to come out in the past few years or so.  It's such a simple concept (two brother driving round America killing demons) with brilliant execution.  Seasons 1 & 2 were pretty damn cool.  But seasons 3 and especially 4 kicked it up about a gajillion (yes that's a word) notches.

being a father of two, I have nothing but respect for women who give birth naturally. But yesterday, I think I got a much better understanding of just how much pain it can be.

Cause yesterday, I had the pleasure of passing a kidney stone!!!

OH.MY.F#%KING.GOD

That was the single most excrusiating pain in my life.  HOLY SHIT!!!!

And guess what?

It now means that I have a 40% chance of it hapening agin. GARGH!!!

For anyone who's gone through the same experience, you know what I'm talking about, for those who haven't, count yourself VERY lucky.
