So I figured that I was turning 19 in two days and yet had never achieved something significant in my life.

That is about to change, to a certain extent. xD

As a freelance artist, I sometimes got commissioned to draw adult art. And hey, I'm okay with that, actually. I get to draw complex poses and no damn clothes LOL. But something that really bothers me in porn is.. The low quality of it. Yes, sometimes you'll find some really great artists, but I'm not really talking about art.

What I have in mind is the story. The structure. Is it really impossible to make erotica that can also read as an actual story?

Well I figured that while it is still a minority, I will contribute to it.

I'm going to make an adult comic that is full of feelings and has a solid plot, along with character developpement! I am aware that this is a stupid project but boy is it also awesome!

I might make it available online for a donation fee, at some point. ^^

Hi, been a while.

I yesterday got a computer at last, as an early Christmas present. Which means, I'll be getting back into drawing.

My first priority is to finish the few commissions I owe, then I'll be taking on new work. If you are interested into getting something commissioned from me, be sure to drop me a note, and I'll be glad to put you on the waiting list.

But yeah, once the stuff that was already paid is done, I intend to start taking on comic illustration jobs as a freelance or something. Clean or adult work, it doesn't really matter to me. Why does everything bad happen at the same time??

Merely a week, maybe less, after the whole wallet thing, I now am so very sick. Been like this for four days now, and it only gets worse. I have atrocious pains in my abdomen, and throw up almost hourly, only I have nothing in my stomach but bile. I haven't been able to keep any food inside for days. And now, because of the shitty healthcare system, they don't have any availability for scans and tests before the 20th of this month.. In the meantimes they gave me anti-spasmodic pills to help, but how good are they when I throw them up??

Plus, yesterday I also broke my glasses... I have so little money that I have been keeping the same for years, even tho they weren't strong enough anymore.. But I was so exausted two nights ago I fell asleep while still wearing them,. and the worn out frame broke...

Plus because of my sickness, I'm suspended from work for a certain periood of time.. How am I supposed to pay for rent?!

I feel super bad, but I'm begging for your help.. I want to take commissions while I'm suspended from work. If you can help me and like me art, please do... I'd be eternally grateful.

I have a bunch of pics in the work, but depression and severe insomnia are getting in the way. For the past two weeks, the most sleep I've gotten is 4 hours a night. So today I tried forcing myself to bed really early. But I got first waken up by a phonecall of a friend who wanted to ask me a question. I answer it, hang up, and fortunately manage to get back to sleep...

...Only to be waken up an hour later by another phonecall from my best friend who was in tears. Talked with her for more than an hour, and I didn't manage to fall back asleep. What's up with that?

Does any of you have good tips to fall asleep that do NOT require medication? I've had addiction problems in the past so I'd rather stay away from those.

I can't tell for Clarity and Aki, but I myself really love strong, attractive characters who remain simple. I didn't want something crazy, with wings, powers or such, so I just chose to make Shred a dog. ^^

June answers:

The big thing about shading is that you have to see your character as something three dimensional, and not as a flat drawing on a canvas. The way light hits all depends on the volumes. Practice and observing makes a keen eye for shading!!

"How do people draw as good as you draw?"

June answers:

Some people have mad talent. Myself, I just work on my art a whole lot. I have years of practice behind me. Best thing to improve is to keep trying different things. Sometimes you won't like how it turns out as a whole, but there'll be one thing you'll like better than what you previously did. Just incorporate it in the style you were previously working in. That way, you will evolve and improve.

I'm a bit torn on that one!! Sushi, fried rice, breaded shrimps... I don't eat meat aside from fish and seafood!!
