So I guess it's been a while. I've been off on adventures of epic proportions; plundering booty, sailing the seas, and drinking heartily. (sleeping, school, sleeping, sleeping, working out, sleeping)

I've always wondered some things...like "Why do men have nipples?" and "If 1/3 equals .33, and 1/3 times 3 equals 1.0, then technically wouldn't that make .99 = 1.0?"

I guess some things in life are just that much harder to figure out. I'm surprised my head hasn't asploded from just thinking about it.....oh, and neither the chicken nor the egg came first. Chickens evolved from lower species, thus making a continuous line of life forms devoid of a singular species' (a chicken's) life cycle or reproductive outcomes such as an egg for the same species. So the amino acids and chemicals in the ocean came first, not the chicken or indeed even the egg.

I just got off of work about and hour and a half ago, went straight to Wal-Mart, and picked up Gears of War 2. This is the first time in my life that I've ever bought a major game on its release date. Ironically enough, it's still on my desk, wrapped up brand new as I type this.

So I'll get to playing this bad boy immediately.

Oh, did anyone happen to catch the latest South Park? Fucking hilarious. I thought the Ocean's Eleven parody mixed with the outcome of the presidential election was pretty damn clever.

In my great ol' state of Tennessee, one of them lived not too far away and was collaborating with another originally in Arkansas to shoot up 88 black kids and decapitate 14 more. They were going to go into a local, predomiantly black highschool and do this.

Thats's right...my school seems to be the most likely choice. It is the closest one and it's almost all black. What makes this funny is some of my friends thought I was the one calling in bomb threats to my school because I wasn't there yesterday. Not sure exactly who was calling in the threats.

Oh well...they got busted by the feds. (apparetly they were planning on attempting an assination on Obama too, drawing attention to them from the feds. LOL. If they weren't communicating on shit like MySpace they might have been able to go through with it. Good thing they were stupid about it and got caught.)

EDIT: I just read they got arrested because they shot out a church window and wrote White Supremest stuff on sidewalks and a car. What fuckin' idiots...

Street Kings
Keanu Reeves gave a pretty dramatic performance. Every other line is full of so much drama you want to snap a baby's neck.

The movie overall is pretty actiony for the first 10 minutes, but then seems to drag on untill about the 50 minute mark. It's VERY violent in parts. Nothing too intense, mind you. It's definately enjoyable.

John Rambo
This movie wasn't great. If you don't think about the plot and just focus on the action (which takes WAY too long to get into for a Rambo movie), it's a fun violence and gore ride. Then again, Rambo movies haven't exactly been thinkers. He gets just plain brutal in some parts. (though he's still a pussy compared to me. Lol XD.)

I'd say go see this in theaters if you're with a few friends.

Movies

Awake
Horrible, horrible movie. Takes over half an hour to get into the main plot and becomes terribly predictable. Only one twist might catch you by suprise, but if you miss that one, YOU ARE RETARDED.

No Country for Old Men
I absolutely loved this movie. It had a meaningful storyline and kept you watching the whole way through. The ending fit just right, leaving a little something for everyone (unless you were hoping for a goody two-shoes ending). The way Anton Chigurh (villain) kills people in his way is genius at parts and will occasionally make you lol.

I Am Legend
Pretty good movie. Will Smith did a good job at playing a role that I could think of a hundred actors that would do better at it. Maybe they needed a spunky black guy to keep it interesting, though.
As for the zombie/vampire part, he did things a lot like I would, however, he chose to dress up manakins like normal people ([link]) instead of doing more important things, like traps, ESCAPING, etc. He should've been more like Father Gregory, I guess. All in all, it was great, but the alternate ending seemed to satisfy me more.

It launched! They closed down a whole street in New York for an ATV show in front of the game store that sold it first. Master Chief showed up in person and gave out the first copy of the game...it was just great.

Yeah, not much work from me lately. Deja vu', eh?

I'm in my second month of school, so I can't really draw much.

I haven't forgotten about my doujinshi, I swear. I just "conviniently" forget on a daily basis. I've got the next few pages sketched out, I just have to lineart them, clean them up, etc. It's a long and strenuous process for something so mediocre-ly drawn.

The fact that I'm hooked on World of Warcraft again doesn't help much either. YOU ARE NOT PREPARED.

As for movies...

Halloween

Good movie, lotsa blood/gore, good acting, but Rob Zombie just didn't take it where it needed to go. Much better than the original, however.

Superbad

I laughed my arse off. Definately recommend going to see it. (P.S. It's defiantely not a "family" movie, much more explicit than the commercials make it out to be.)

My birthday was Friday. I got an electric guitar and Resident Evil 4 for PS2. I also ate chinese food down in Jackson with my folks, grand folks, and cousin. I'm not the kind of guy you take to the buffet...I'm never able to eat very much. XD

I went to see "1408" the day after. It was an extremely good/well made movie. I highly recommend going to see it.

SPOILER ALERT!! AVERT YOUR EYES.

But I have a reason for revealing it. That scene was my favorite because it's his revelation point. The scene was very well made as far as dramatics and script go.

Even though I don't believe in that big ass rabbit that breaks into your house and leaves you candy as payment for knocking up your daughter, I did get my mom to buy me a bunch of chocolate.

What exactly fills the gap between Jesus dying on the cross and a giant rabbit handing out candy and coloring eggs? Is it symbolic or something? Did Jesus eat omlets?
