Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have a lot of people angry at me for not being on so much, plus the fact that there hasn't been any update for Batman Disturbia.

I had to take a break on BD for a reason. I've lost my inspiration to keep going on it, let alone, finish the colored pages. Plus, I need to make up on requests. Now, I'm trying to find another job, my parents are at it again, I'm also trying to raise money for a car, and that puts more on my plate that I don't time to draw anymore. Maybe I'm losing it. I'm losing my inspiration again. I don't know. It kinda hurts.

Well, I got the 9 DVD, so that might help on getting me back on my feet to draw again. The last thing I did was make a flash movie for the first time, and I admitted it that it wasn't the best, but it was my first. Some people decided to rub that in. They would send me notes and tell me that my flash was horrible and sloppy, and that my animation sucks. And it hurts. It makes me feel that what I accomplished meant nothing. It was my first, ok?!

Either that, or I'm just being a stupid drama queen. And it sucks to not have internet at home, and I can only go on when I'm at my dad's place, which is like 2 days per week. Plus, I can't get on for very long, due to time limit on the computer.

I'm gonna be so happy when skool starts again. It helps me stay motivated. It makes me draw for a reason. So, that one day, I will work for the Disney Animation Studios.

Dad got me Adobe Flash CS4, so now I can practice on my animation, and get better!

I needed a break from the pressure, so now, I'll get back on my feet, and finish what I started.

Now, this being said, after doing my requests and promises, I will no longer accept requests or art trades for a while. I need to get done with this stuff before I put more on my plate. I might also do commissions, but that'll be in the later future.


Well, I'm going off to work. It's gonna be a long night, but hey, thank goodness for the winter break.

I was drawing a comic at first, but then I forgot where to go from there. So, this is what I call "FINISH THE STORY". Basically, I start the story, and you guys think of an ending. You can make up anything for the story, but it has to be a happy ending. I'll post up the picture very soon, titled: "CONTEST: FINISH THIS STORY".

Usually, I wouldn't listen to this crap, but now, hearing it from someone I'm really close to, it hurts. Like hell. I can't draw. I can't finish my work. My inspiration to keep going is gone...I'm lost. I feel hurt.

All I ask is for a prayer. I'm sure my confidence will boost back up again, but right now, I feel like total shit. I don't think I'll be drawing for a while, so don't expect any updates.

I'm sorry you guys had to hear this. But, hey. Don't let this stop you guys from drawing, or writing, or doing any fine art. Keep it up, you guys.

Anyway, on to another subject; me and my sis went to see Julie & Julia an hour ago. It was cute with light humor.

For me, if I watched a movie that I found out later it was based on a book, I go and find it. So, I went to Borders afterwards. Sadly, they were sold out with Julie & Julia the novel, but I found something even better: Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Already, I feel inspired to cook. Usually, when I don't have paper and pen on me, I would sometimes cook. Those days went away for a long time.

Until, it came back. So, my thanks to Mrs. Child and the movie, I'll be making some of her recipes, and making my own, although I'm not quite talented as I used to be, but who's gonna stop me from trying?

The first recipe I have got to try on my next turn to cook is the filet of beef. Ooh, I'm so excited on trying it! I hope I do my best. I'll let you guys know how it turned out.


Well, that's all I got now. Going to church tomorrow, then work, and then off to a Daddy-daughter date to see Hayao Miyazaki's latest film: Ponyo.

I'm working on the storyboard collaboration as it is. So far, I covered 1/3 of it, and it's looking pretty good! Gotta work on more storyboard pics, and then it'll be finished!

Also, Batman Disturbia is still slow, but I'll be able to work more on it this weekend, since I'm off from my job. Plus, I'm starting a new term tomorrow, and I'm finally in the class of my dreams: 2-D Animation!!!! So, expect some of my animations to come onto dA.

BTW, I know some of you were familiar to American McGee's Alice. I played up to the part where I had to follow the Mock Turtle underwater (right after defeating the Duchess), but I kept losing him because the computer kept frezzing up the image. Neh, I still love the game, no matter how hard it is. I'm now listening to the soundtrack of it, found on iTunes after my curiosity got the best of me. I MUST BUY THE GAME!!!! The "Winter Project" is coming along pretty well, too! A couple of people have seen the actual thing, but I won't tell you who.

Anyway, Photoshop has been so much easier now that I have the tablet! It makes my eyes less irritated since I had to look at the screen up close to get every detail right. I got a couple of things to finish, too, an art trade and a CD cover (I think), so don't be asking me for requests. Art Trades: I'll do, but my half will be very late. Collabs: I can do writing materials. Art-wise: maybe.

Sorry, guys. I would have more free time, if not for work and skool.

I had such a blast with Andy! The zoo, the mall, the artwork, and the introduction of American McGee's Alice (which I played nonstop for the last two days)!

I'm so psyched! My mother was kind enough to lend me her camera to take with me.

Anyway, I got the Coraline DVD, and I haven't stopped watching it! I'm gonna watch it again once my laundry is done.

You see, I had to make a deal with my mother that I had to clean my room in order for me to go. All day, I cleaned. So, the last thing to do is vacuum and laundry.

Although, it makes my room cleaner, I do wish she would stop snooping into my room! It drives me nuts! It's my room, but she says it's her house, and she has every right to go in there. Good thing I hid my secret journal somewhere she'll never find it. At least, she should give me the respect of privacy. I mean, she can go in when I'm in the room, but not when I'm out of my room. I consider it rude.

Ehh, I might be thinking immaturely. Ah, well. I don't care.

In other news, I had a run-in with an asshole this morning. This is too freaking funny. Honest. Okay, I just got off the subway, and went up the escalator. I was standing at least two steps back behind this woman. She turns around and asks, "Are you a lesbian?"

I replied, "No."

Then, she asks, "Then, why are you standing close behind me, like you wanna fuck me?"

I was awestruck. I was about to slap this woman, but being a good person, I just stepped back one step behind. A mother was behind me leaned in close and said, "That woman has issues."

I nodded and replied, "Yeah, who put a bee in her undies?"

And, while I was walking, keeping my distance, the woman barged through a bunch of girls walking in the opposite direction, and she yells out, "Get outta my way, lesbos!"

WTF?! This bitch wants to pick a fight. She's just asking for it.

Well, good news, I'll never see her again. But, Pfft! Oh my gosh, it was too funny for me.

Funny thing is, me and Hayley were about to post up some pics for her account when suddenly; our Internet led us to some porn website. We were like, WTF?!!!!!!

So, I had to shut it down and reboot, to finding out that my laptop got infected. So, I had to $50 to get the program, so that puts a small hole in my spending money for Texas. Thankfully, I still have enough, and I have to cash in my paychecks before they expire.

So, Anyway, hayley won't be posting things for a bit until we can see what caused my laptop to do that.

Obviously, my account didn't have any problems like this. Maybe I need to get a subscription for Hayley...eh, I dunno. We just need to be on the safe side.

I got strep throat...not a fun thing....Well, the worst part is over, but now I can't talk for a while.


However, since the worst part is over, I gotta finish some art trades for a couple of friends, and a request. Must....finish....work!!!!!

Welcome to the second and final round to Batman Disturbia, where the REAL competition begins.

To all entries, here are your instructions:

The theme of this round is creating a storyline on how your character meets Kiara Phantom for the first time. You have heard that she is looking for four worthy people to join in the Rebellion Five, along with AL and N.D. You want to prove worthy, so you give her a good reason why she should recruit you. However, whether Kiara Phantom decides or not, should remain a mystery, so end it in a cliffhanger.

ENTRIES

There are two ways you can enter.

Comic form - Requires color, clean lines, a cover art, and proper grammer usage in word balloons. It can be as many pages as you want. Must end in: To Be Continued...? MUST include your character and Kiara Phantom. You may draw her in your own design. Look at my latest work for references.

Literature Form - Requires proper grammer usage, "attention gabber" (something to start the story that catches the audiences' eye), and good paragraph format. It can as long as you want, but it must be a one-shot story. Must end in: To Be Continued...? MUST include your character and Kiara Phantom. MUST include a cover art page for the preview picture (it should be a picture of your character and Kiara Phantom meeting for the first time).

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT KIARA PHANTOM

I've changed her revenge reason, but I cannot give that away because it's part of the story.

As Kiara Phantom, she speaks very clear and sophisticated. She uses high vocabulary, and behaves like a mistress.

Her weapon is a Phoenix 1065 High Carbon Katana Sword ( [link] ) and she's highly skilled in swordsmanship. She's left-handed with her sword.

In attack mode, she wears her mask over half of her face, as seen in this: [link] and this: [link]

In passive form, she wears the mask in her hair, as seen in this: [link] and this: [link]

She wears only one black glove on her right hand, and nothing on her left hand. She has red fingernails.

One last detail is that she wears a necklace. It's a sword with a rose and thorns wrapped around it, as seen in this this: [link]


The judges and I will be judging all of the above, plus of creativity, a good climax, and an excellent cliffhanger to make the judges decide to choose.

ALL ENTRIES ARE NOW DUE JUNE 30TH 11:59 P.M.

You may enter early if you choose. However, if all entries are in before May 17th, then we will begin the judging immediately.

The winners will recieve three messages from Kiara Phantom, AL, and N.D. , the judge's critique on why we chose yours, and their character to be featured in the Rebellious Five.

Well, I don't think it won't be disappointing, but I could be wrong. I got the soundtrack from iTunes, and I'm loving it!

Now, that's good music! And surprisingly, I was fooled to think it was Danny Elfman's style. It's not, but it's amazing. A lot of great scores, though some very short. The CD is worth getting, which is coming a couple days later. Also, the Coraline game came out, too. I haven't had the pleasure to play it yet....

Meaning, I can work some things in the house, and work on my projects and what not.


In other news, I bought the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Yay! Also, I noticed something in the movie that threw me off. When Quasimodo sings, "Out there among the millers, and the weavers and their wives..." I saw a certain cameo appearance that i never expect to appear: Belle from Beauty and the Beast, I'm not kidding! Just as he's singing that part, you can see Belle walking away, with her nose stuck in a book. She's about at the bottom of the right-hand corner, walking away and disappearing into the town. You'll have to see it to believe me.

Anyway, I'm loving the movie. My sister likes Phoebus (no surprise there). And I get to Clopin anytime. Gosh, he's so cute!

Hugo: I thought I was the cute one.

Laverne: No, you're the fat, stupid one with the big mouth!

Hugo:....What are you sayin', exactly?

I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas. Well, where to start?

I got a lot of clothes (the usual), sketchbooks, a very expensive case of colored pencils (the very expensive kind), gift cards, a new nano iPod (that plays movies! Now, I can watch Invader Zim whenever I want to!!!), Kung Fu Panda and WALL-E, perfume, candy, a Bolt plushie (HE'S SO FLUFFY, LITERALLY!!!), acryllic paints, a Dark Knight Calender, the first Full Metal Alchemist comic (blame for all the fantastic drawings of dear Ed and the man behind the voice: Vic Mignogna), and I think that's it.




So....what did you guys get? I'm rather curious...
