I know, I never update this anymore. I check my deviations all the time , but I can't update my journals on my iPod and I can't use MY computer to go on dA, but I always forget to go on here when I'm on the laptop. So, I figured that I would go on today and update my journal. XD

I do still like to go on dA, though my favorites are always growing. XD This won't be the last you see of me!

So... Since the last time I've posted lots has happened. For one thing, I finished and survived my freshman year of high school!!! My summer has been going really well, and I leave for Gustavus tomorrow. It's going to be FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

I also went to a youth summit for medicine at Johns Hopkins University in June, and I think that it was the best thing in my entire life. XD It totally made my freaking life... I loved it. There were so many AWESOME people and I made a thousand and one new friends. XD Not to mention that there was a lot of really awesome foods and places and.... EVERYTHING!!!!

Well, I'll try to get on more... Post some more journals and actually seem like I'm alive. Lolz. I miss this place, but I'm a lot more active on FB, so go find me on there if you need to. <3

Well hello to all those running around out in cyberspace!

How are you all doing? Anything interesting?

I actually have an excuse for my astounding lack of updates, I can't log into dA on my normal computer, only on my iPod. But, because I can't do journals on my iPod the journaling option has been out.... But I just figured out how to do it on the family laptop.

So... I am finally uploading an update, although I don't really know what there is to say. My life has been kind of upside down lately... But I did get onto the speech team!! Next Friday we're going to an overnight tournament in Marshell. It's gunna be a lot of fun, and I'm super excited!

SO, what's up in everyone else's lives? I've read all you guys' journals but I haven't been able to comment on them at all, so I haven't been ignoring you guys... Don't worry! XDD

Well, I'm glad to be back and posting, so I can't wait to hear what you guys have to say!

Whoa... That's all I can say for the movie! I went home and set "Snow (Hey Oh)" on repeat and just sat around at thought... That movie gave me a good lot to think about. But... I have to say that there might have been more to think about if they had left the handcuffs and foot massage in! ; )

But seriously... IT WAS FREAKIN' EPIC! L was so perfect and so damn cute! When he did the mask, and the funny thumbs up, I went into laughing hysterics! But when he was like "Chief, it's my time, I want to be alone" I was crying, and trying not to sob... T.T The end killed me though, "Snow" was the perfect song for the end, and "Dani California" was a good song for the movie over all.

Then, at the very end, with the snow and how his dad was all "He fought Kira to the end" and the cake... And... And... T__________T I'm getting teary eyed thinking about it! O.o

But, when I got home I had the most seriously disturbing dream ever... Holy shit, I'm still getting over it... Death Note did bad things to my mind. I'm all emotionally messed up... O.o

So over all that move was profoundly EPIC. With the edition of RHCP it just made two awesome things SUPER AWESOME!

Maybe I'll do a serious update later, but now I'm reveling in DN.

APOCALYPTICA

This band is SO amazing! O.M.F.G. It's quite literally a heavy metal/gothic/punk/alternitve/emo/classicle band.

Yeah... They have uno drummer, and three cello-ists. One is their lead singer, but it's BEYOND awesome! They play a very deep, melancholy sound, and replicate some electric guitar on the cello mixed in with classical cello playing. Then they have the heavy drum beat... It's SO AMAZINGLY... AMAZING!

They were like, "Yeah it's really weird to have classical music buffs show up at our concerts with die hard metal fans..."

They're from Finland, so some of their work is in Finish, but ALL of their music is ASTOUNDING. GO. CHECK. THEM. OUT. It is so worth your time. If you have time to only listen to one song, go listen to "I Don't Care - Featuring TDG's Adam Grontier" It's stupifyingly AWESOME!

Clan: Hayashi by birth, but she was kind of adopted by the Mikoto and the Uchihas'.

Kekkei Genkai(goes with clan): Nazogon, but that's not the Hayashi bloodline, her mother wasn't a Hayashi, so that's where
it came from.

Chakra level: Medium to High.

Fighting skill level: It depends.

-Ninjutsu: Medium

-Genjutsu: High

-Taijutsu: Low to Medium

Weapons(describe): Senbon (she uses them as a disabling mechanism: all the benifits of a dead man, with no mess), katana, shuriken, and her "Blind Assassin" jutsu.

Village(Do you have one? more than one?): By birth, Snow. Then Konoha, and then finally she left for Akatsuki... Actually, she was recruited.

Element: An element? If you can call empathy an element... Not much for natural elements though, or elemental justsu.

Demon(?): Nope.

Sensei(s): Haven't put much thought into it... It'll come though.

Special Move(signature move): Blind Assassins. Disables nerves to the eyes, making it impossible to see through. Renders victims blind, and experience vertigo. It's timespan variates by how powerful the victim is. It's usually fairly short though, only a minute or two.

Appearance(describe casual clothing and battle clothing/gear): Casual clothing? Jeans or cargos, and a long sleeved T-shirt, or a T. Sometimes if you're lucky you'll catch her in more traditional wear, like a yukata or kimono. Battle clothing, from 19 - 21 is a pair of cargo kapris with steal toed, military issue boots. A black long sleeved T-shirt with a white ANBU vest, and a clip on armor for her shoulder.

Personality: When she was young she was a very bright, and happy child. She was fairly care-fee, and laid back. She was very outgoing, and although she would never miss the chance to argue something, it was always light hearted without serious accusation. After thirteen, she changed tremendously. She was very unhappy and withdrawn, suddenly she was sarcastic, and fairly mean. She only really did anything during the night and almost no one in Konoha even knew she existed, minus Kakashi and a few others. After she was in Akatsuki for a few years, she began to lighten up a bit, and become a little bit more feminine. She's always had a little bit of a power thing, and sometimes she doesn't make the most wise, informed decisions. The massacre really did change her though, and she became a kind of rude and mean. She's prone to rapid mood swings, and rash, slightly insane ideals that she always sticks by and is stubborn as a mule about.

Health(medical conditions,permanent injury,etc...): Is fairly poor. She has a very light level of Hemophelia (THANK YOU TORI!) that the Konoha hospital developed a medicine for in the form of something like an Epipen. Also being an assassin, she didn't face huge battles very often. Also as a child, through a long series of events (that will be explained in the past part) she had Iron Deficiency Anemia for a while from about 9 1/2 - 13 1/2. Her left shoulder is extremely weak (also explained later). Generally, even though she hates hospitals she ends up spending a lot of time in it.

Relatives(alive and deceased family): Her cousins: Hiro, Yuki, and Tori. Her mother is still alive, and her father is dead.

Fighting style(Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc...): Most definitely genjutsu, although she ends up having to use a fair amount of ninjutsu.

Summon(?): A really big black panther that she only summons when she absolutely has to, usually in hand to hand combat.

Fighting weakness(health, personality issue): Her health, obviously. Personality issues: She's prone to depression and mood swings. Often with power dangled in front of her, she'll make an un-wise decision.

Lover(seme/uke, striaght/ gay): Straight, and you know her eventual lover, although they both go through a long painful proses to get there. They only really have a romantic relationship begin at about 20-23 years old, it was very slow and awkwardly developed; both not used to human interaction. Seme or Uke? Good question, I'd have to say Seme whenever she can...

Connections to people (including Naruto cast and charcters outside it): Blech. Do I gotta? Kakashi is like a father to her, and she always got along rather well with Anko. Sasuke hates her with just about every inch of his being, she still thinks of him like a little brother, but doesn't like to talk or think about him. Naruto has heard of her in passing, but doesn't care, and Sakura doesn't care, seeing as Sasuke won't mention her, so they've only heard her name through Kakashi, which is rare. Tori and her are kinda friends till she leaves, and then when she...

Bayfield was SOOOOO cute! It was like, filled to the brim with independent art houses and organic, indie coffee houses that tasted SO yummy...

But better yet, in La Point, Tom's Burned Down Cafe is AWESOME. 15 years ago, it burned down, and it's a mish-mash of different shit. There's a huge sail that's strung up with a mast stuck in the ground for half the ceiling along with a mish-mash of random boards. None of the tables and chairs matched, and it was filled to the brim with random signs, paintings, shoes stapled to the walls and ceiling, posters, and whatever other junk you can staple to a wooden plank. I have pictures, I'll try to post them...

Plain And True - Lessons on life from tennis

Hey. I'm back. Tennis camp was as always, a life changing experience... As dramatic as it sounds. TLC (Tennis and Life camps) ARE an intensive training experience... but not only for the body, but also for the mind, and soul... And that's just what this did for me.

Why? Because of two astounding people that have made me look inside myself to find something that I never really knew existed. [link] and [link]
Really, though the whole staff have changed me... [link]

Neal is an amazing man. He's a singer/songwriter, and makes it his goal to love, and to teach others what it means to be strong, and human. He makes sure that we are all in tears by the end of camp. Not only does he inspire me, he makes me think about faith, and what it means to have it... If I do. It makes me feel so strong, and... Nothing I say here can describe it. He makes his living off making music about love. Although most of his albums are very religious... He just released an album called "It's Not As Simple As It Seems" go listen... I urge you. Maybe you don't like the actual music (it's all acoustic, and religious overtones are often blatant) but the lyrics are something else. We have to learn to love, or else we'll have nothing left in this world, and we need to understand that, and he has changed my outlook on the world. Maybe there is a God, maybe there's not... We'll never know until he comes to take us, but in the meantime, we can let light, and love fill our lives. Every second is precious, and we should enjoy it.

Next, Neal gave us an important lesson on the second day of camp about "Passion" and "Compassion". Passion means "To suffer" you can suffer, and make others suffer... but when you put "Com" in front... you begin to "suffer with". Suffer with other -- share their pain, and they'll share yours. Let your words speak love, and never hate. As he says "What is the chemistry for hate? What is the chemistry for love?" Fear fuels hate, and Hope fuels Love. Don't let others suffer alone, the least you can do is suffer with them.

Neal's new album talks about the sadness in this world, all the wrongs, and how there is NOTHING we can do about it, except try our hardest to make it a little easier. As he said at camp, he would always use the prayer (I don't pray, but this is an excellent point, not because of the fact it is a prayer) "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference."

So, as he says: "Life is short. Love. Period."

Chris (AKA: Baggs) was an amazing influence on me. He taught me that life is FUN, and we don't have to have a busy schedule to love, laugh, and learn. Sometimes the best things in life are the flowers we find by the roadside, or in the most unexpected places. Not only was he my instructor, he was my friend. He joked, laughed, and was silly, but never strict. He is totally laid back, and never spared the chance to just talk. He is definitely an odd guy, and I connected with him because people would give him the same looks that they would me, because we were different, and original. I think that's important. He didn't treat me like a child, but like a friend. Last year, he was my friend as well, and both times made me cry at closing ceremonies. Really, words can't express how awesome, and wise this man is. Although his demeanor is oddly similar to a hyper 7 year old, I have no doubt he will change the world... cause he sure changed mine.

So... my final word. Train your mind, body, and soul to love... and never stop. They were wrong, love is no battle ground... It's a garden. Let it grow, and plant the seeds in others. Don't be afraid to reach out, and change the world; it's just waiting for someone to do just that.

READ-- Lots Of Thoughts

Heya. I was up pretty late last night, just thinking. Some shit running through my mind, and the next thing I know-- I'm crying; really crying. It's the first time in a long time, and for some reason, it felt good... But that's not the point. The point is that after I got myself together, my mind got to spinnin', and I wrote. It's a random stream of consciousness from about 2.30 in the morning... So excuse any errors. Sure, to some of you it might not make much sense, but to most of you, I'm sure you'll get the point.

"Well, if you're reading this, you must know a little something about me... maybe. But, regardless, i have something that I must share. In simple terms, I've had a bit of an epiphany; just thinking, what does death really mean? I guess we can't TRULY know, until we cross that hurtle ourselves. Energy never dies, so maybe death just means that something changes, something shifts. But, that's not my point, my point is what if you only had a year to live? And really, for all you know, you do. Looking back, I see all these mistakes that I've made -- big and small. Sure, some of them I regret, but I know that I needed them to grow into the person I am today. The philosophers were wrong; It's not what you do that defines you, it's what you've done, because the second you do it, it's done, that's it. The future is irreverent, you can't control it, and god knows you can't control when it ends. All you can really do is live each second as totally and completely as you can. Really, looking back at your mistakes, and learning from them is really all you can do. Damn, there's so many things that I wish I had done, and so many things I wish I had forgone, but what good what that have done me? I never would have come to this conclusion, learned these things.

"I'm trying not to read what I've written so far, less my inner editor come and eat me alive. Just thinking there are some many things I still want to do with my life, but I have to wonder... Do they really matter? If all of this is going to just be a part of the past the nano-second my pen moves, what does it really mean? Eventually the future is simply the past. So... One year, what would I do? What would I want to say that I have experienced, and been touched by on this planet as the life leaves my eyes? Even that, though, will be a part of the past, as soon as the deed is done. But, maybe that's all that really matters... The moment. If we simply milk each moment for all it's worth... Then it's gotta be worth SOMETHING.

"I want to be able to say that I have learned from my mistakes, and been a good human being. But, what is a good human being? Where's the thick black line that separates good from bad? Why doesn't it just go ahead and show it's self? Why? Because it doesn't exist. There is no TRUE right and wrong, it depends on who you are, and what needs to happen for the future to progress. Everything happens for a reason... I have to believe that. I need to think that nothing is random, I need to know that my life isn't just a random speck. That each second means something in the long-run, maybe in the humuno-run... But it still means something.

"I want to know that even though I may not be proud of my past, I can live with it, if I don't get as much time here as I would like. There are a thousand--million--trillion things that could kill me at any second. But, I take pride in knowing that when they DO, I'll be ready!

NEW MUSIC! NEW MUSIC! NEW MUSIC!

Okay, scanning through some music vids, and came by some awesome music, that you all need to listen too. First, go to my ProjectPlaylist at: [link]

What you need to listen too, and what it is.

1. Flobots - They have this really awesome protest hip-hop thing going. They are talking about national and global issues... and if you like them, check out their vid for the song "Handlebars" it was GREAT. They have a very funky mix in the rap/rock/new age/hip hop sound that the group seems to seamlessly create.

2. Bjork - I only have one song on my playlist by her, and it is probably the WEIRDEST thing you will EVER hear. "Earth Intruders" was inspired by the Hurricane Katrina, and this young girl is great. She was in an all girl punk rock band at 11, and kicks some serious ass!

3. Sixx AM - WOW. These guys are great, apparently the bassist, Nikki Sixx has had some problems with heroin addiction, and he wrote a book called "The Heroin Diaries" Or something like that... They have a great Alternative/Rock sound that i really like, and I think that their best song would have too be "Accidents Can Happen".

4. Against Me - Very... Interesting sound. That's all i can say, they mix metal, alternative, rock, and classic rock WAY too well. So, they are totally worth it, i only have one song by them on the playlist, "Don't Lose Touch" and it's an addicting song, I warn you... XD

5. Jewel - You've all heard her, and generally my attitude towards her is... Eh, you're Ok; but this song was GREAT. "Who Will Save Your Soul" Was a great song, that i think really meshed with alot of the things i think about, and ponder. Check it out, and see what you think.

6. Last, but CERTAINLY not least, we have Vampire Weekend. These guys are great. They're all Ivy League graduates... and are certainly an interesting bunch. Their trademark style is the pastel sweater-vest, and khakis; simply, they are so uncool, that they become cool. As for their MUSIC style, they're in the same boat, with an euro-africain-hip-hop-rock-alternitaive-i know i'm not cool, so let me do what i want beat, that defies all the stero-types. These guys are worth it, so go check em out!

Dreamy Idealist (DI)

It turns out the first doctor misdiagnosed the meniscus tear! YAY!

Instead, i have severe inflammation of all the area around the patella, and a pretty bad case of tendinitis! It still hurts like hell, and i have to go to physical therapy, but i might make the high school team, and Gustavus if we can change to a session later in the summer. My USTA league is out of the question, though...

Well, at least there is no surgery, and it's not as bad as it could be. I'm so happy that I'm so lucky, and FINALLY got some good news!

That's all i have for this entry, so all the bad/sad stuff in the next one!

IN PAIN

I went to one doctor today, have to go to an orthipedic one tomorrow.

This is what I have (The earliest diagnosis, I still have to get an X-ray and MRI [maybe] To make sure it's not anything like a tumor, which he said isn't likely, but is possible).

1. I tore the cartlige in my knee (Meniscus)

2. Crepitus, i get weired grinding noises in my knee that could also be from the Meniscus, it's not good.

It says this can occur WITHOUT pain, i can tell you one thing, IT HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!

3. Multi shin splints all down my leg

THIS HURTS, and is also causing my muscle to go through painful cramps that bring tears to my eyes.

This is the initial diagnosis in less than 20 minutes, surgery might be a nessesity (MIGHT!) and I'm out of all physical sports for at least 2 months. ValleyFair might still happen, but with frequent sit down breaks, and if and only if my leg is in decent shape.

Gustaves in June is out of the question, as is USTA, and Varsity tennis might not happen. No running, no tennis, no working out my legs. I can't possibly begin to describe in words how bad this sucks...

Yes you read the title right, and now... Just resist the urge to walk away, there are somethings that need to be said, whether they apply to you or just me, i don't know. But, if you don't want to read it, go ahead.

First off, I'm very sorry for acting like a bitch to some of you... or overly withdrawn or... anything else that Isn't commonly accepted as good manners. I go through shit, you go through shit, we all go through shit, what's new? But, I need some time to talk about my shit, seeing as I'm too much of a tongue tied idiot to talk about it verbally, so, i encourage you all to do the same.

Second off, there someone, and i feel no need to mention names, i don't know if he knows who he is, or not, but too bad. He is close friends with a lot of my close friends, yet still completely ignores me. I'm not asking for him to be my friend, I'm just asking him to be civil. Example: I try to talk to him, my only answer is a grunt, a single syllable, or an eye roll. He then doesn't say anything to me as he goes, and walks away, to talk to some of my other friends, with no apology. I try to say something else to him, all i get is an excuse to leave. THEN, he asked me to deliver a note, and said "Don't look at it, just give it to her." And walked away.
Other than his rude behavior, he's a great guy, with a lot of great quality's, and some not so great ones. One of these negative sides, is he leaves my friends in emotional turmoil, and doesn't say anything to the rest of us. He won't tell any of us anything, except for a select few. I don't WANT to get on his bad side, I don't want to make him upset, I just want a civil, polite, relationship. Nothing more, nothing less. I doubt he's going to read this anyways... so... whatever, I guess.

It doesn't really help that I feel like crap. I don't know what i feel anymore, and how it relates to those close to me. Some days I just want to die, and some days I simply love the world. There is usually fewer of the latter though. I'm trying to cope with all my problems, and everyone else's too. Actually the latter isn't a problem, I'm happy to help my friends, and the only thing i want to do is help them. I love them, and they've always stood by me.

My family. What do I say? They're nuts, I don't know how to deal with them. Everyday is a struggle with my mother and, my Grandmother Isn't sure where she is. I don't want you're pity, all i want is an understanding face if I start screaming at you for no reason, cause I don't mean it (Unless you did something REALLY stupid, that is). I... don't really know what I want, anyways. So really, if you like, just disregard everything I said.

All I need right now, when the world seems darker than it should be, is an understanding smile. I might yell at you for it, at the time, but know that deep down, I appreciate it more than anything. Also, if i start saying anything extremely emo, cursing you and or the world, talking about killing my self, or anyone else, dying, or my inability to do anything constructive, please slap me as hard as you can.

Just understand this, I love you guys, you know who you are, and thanks. You guys just don't get enough credit for all the amazing things you do. Thank you, again, and i give you all my love.

How is everyone? It's late and I'm baby-sitting my now asleep brother. I feel so like, odd. I really don't know what I'm feeling right now... just odd. I don't have one of those cool quizes to fill out right now. I just had the need to journal. I... yeah, it's of those days that I did apsulutly nothing productive, I did a huge skid on the tennis court, my legs all screwed up... again. I have to stop getting hurt if I'm going to make varsity next year.

Gack... I feel like one of those creepy screwed up teens in the hallmark movies. All I can say is that I am so lucky that I have my friends standing behind me. You really make my world go around... I can't thank you guys enough.
