I am talking about Phineas and Ferb here.

I was pretty psyched yesterday when Candace listed "Peg-Leg Pete" as a potential nickname. But in the Gladiator episode there is the most subtle little reference. Like, I'm not even sure if my eyes aren't just playing tricks on me.

But yeah, yeah, when Perry is hiding behind a vase? I'm almost positive the Muses from Hercules are decorating it.

Yes, I really felt the need to share this with you. And by you, I mostly mean ~LadyBananaCucumber and ~girlwonder004. Because, you know, not sure who else watches Phineas and Ferb.

Rather like the show I am watching right now. How did these cute little buggers grow to be so violent? (Seriously, baby Sylvester is so cute, I feel like puking. It's just to much!)

But anyway... Quacking. Ducks. I've been meaning to draw some more of those Ducklings I keep mentioning... We'll see how that goes. I haven't been much on drawing these days.

And if I do draw, there's a good chance it'll be some Team Rocket. Because I've been watching the show. It's all girlwonder004's fault! -glares-

Oh, now Pup Named Scooby Doo is on! I know this show is awful and totally tramples upon the original Scooby Doo that I love so much, but it's so so cute. (Plus, I really just love watching ANYTHING with Scooby Doo and the gang in it. They make me so happy. I'm such a Velma, too.)

So yeah, anyway, to sum this up as usual... Ducklings and/or Pokemon. If I update ever.

(Incidentally, some lady on the show was just talking about how she had to fire this guy because his toys were two gruesome and scary. And I'm like, "...Quackerjack?")

The main one? It occured to me that I'd really rather they looked more Disney-ish. Now, the anime style doesn't bother me for a few reasons.... One, it's more or less only present on the eyses. Mostly, though, it doesn't bother me because the anime art style is still cartoon-y.... Honestly, I personaly have become a bit at odds with the catagorization of anime. These days, 'anime-style' is often used to describe thing that aren't anime at all. (Xiaolin Showdown, for one?) But more so, I have really come to consider anime as well... another type of cartoon. Which it is. It happens to be made in Japan, but it's still a cartoon. So I don't understand why it needs to be considered a whole seperate deal **in the mind of a televsion viewer**. Now, I'm sure some people would be offended... But that's just my thinking. Anyway, I've digressed enough...
My other reason for re-doing the designs is that some of them are out-dated... I've long since changed my ideas of what these characters look like as humans.

Not that I can do anything to change it. But, still... Back to school means new clothes, which I'm not generally excited about, but I do love shopping.

Okay, so... I've got Seussical on the brain lately, so... Probably some more Seussical-based art. And I've been getting better at drawing on paint, which I'm quite happy about, because it really looks rather nice. (And I can shade in paint, but I just plain can't when drawing with colored pencils, etc.) Oh, and Kaboot's also become rather obsessed with Alice in Wonderland - book and Disney film version alike. Dunno about any Alice art, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some. Also, I've noticed I do not have nearly as much Lilo & Stitch fanart as I ought to, considering it really is my all-time favorite movie... I should fix that, too. Soooo... Alice and aliens and Seuss, oh my!

"One True Pairing" Ship: It changes. With frequency. Right now, I'd have to say Abu/Iago(Aladdin).

"One True Threesome" Ship: Don't have one.

"One True Foursome" Ship: Again, I don't have one.

"Canon" Ship: For some reason, I'm rarely into canon shippings... Well, the canon pairing that I'm most fond of is Beast/Belle(Beauty and the Beast).

"Not quite canon but should be" ship: Jumba/Pleakley(Lilo & Stitch). But really, it *is* canon. I mean, come on!

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork"-ship: Aang/Katara(Avatar: The Last Airbender). I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty clear she doesn't like him like that.

"You are one sick b******" ship: I can't, at the moment, think of anything that really, *really* just disgusts me. I don't get disgusted by pairings. Just annoyed, sometimes.

"I'm one sick b******" ship: Krazyshipping, otherwise known as Meowth/Pikachu. (I'm not even much of a Pokemon fan anymore, but it's so cute!)

"I dabble a little" 'Ship: Yumi/Aelita(Code: Lyoko). It doesn't make the most sense in the world, but then, sometimes it does.

"It's like a car crash" 'Ship: You mean, like, a disaster waiting to happen? Pecker/Daxter(Jak and Daxter). Because they're always at each others throats. Which is what makes the pairing so likeable to me.

"Tickles my fancy but not sold quite yet" 'Ship: Pain/Panic(Hercules). I love the characteres seperately, and the idea of them as a couple is pretty cute, in an odd way.

"Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" 'Ship: RJ/Verne(Over the Hedge). I love the contrast of their personalities.

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" 'Ship: Chase/Jack(Xiaolin Showdown). I'm not very fond of Chase to begin with (although I love his voice actor!), and then the pairing itself just doesn't work for me.

"When all is said and done" 'Ship: I'm not totally sure I know what this is asking. -nervous laugh- Um... Jumba/Pleakley. Largely because of the nostalgia factor. And they're just such fun characters.

"Guilty Pleasure" ship: Cogsworth/Lumiere(Beauty and the Beast). Strange as it seems, I love it bits. Same goes for Pumbaa/Timon(Lion King)
"I can't believe I read it and liked it" ship: Jak/Daxter

Favorite "Older/Younger" ship: Sokka/Aang(Avatar: The Last Airbender). It's not a huge age difference, but it's enough to make it strange. (Although, admittedly, I'm not as interest in this pair as I used to be.)

"My first, I could never abandon you" ship: Jumba/Pleakley. It's just so adorable, and one of the very first ships I ever shipped.

Favorite Devotionship: Not sure I truly have one that'd go under this catagory...

Favorite Never-met ship: Jeremie(Code: Lyoko)/Jack Spicer(Xiaolin Showdown). Yeah.... Sometimes, I don't understand myself.

Favorite Abuseship: I don't have a pairing that clearly goes under this category, but to stretch a definiton Abu/Iago(Aladdin) could qualify, in more verbal/sometimes-emotional, mostly-very-mild sense of abuse.

Favorite Rapeship: Ah... None.

Favorite "Awwww Genki!" ship: Jack Spicer/Omi is pretty damn cute. (But I've no idea what 'Genki' means. I'm just going at the definition Basil-Ovelby helped me arrive at.)

Kingdom Hearts just might be my favorite ever video game now... I totally got interested in it because of the Disney aspect, but I really like the other characters and the gameplay itself is just awesome. I finally got to Agrabah tonight.... ^_^ Of course, I'm more looking forward to Agrabah in Kingdom Hearts II than this one, but still... Agrabah rocks. I think the Tarzan level might have been my favorite so far, although that was a pain. I still can't find my way in Traverse Town. My second visit took over an hour... I didn't know what to do and I was *so* lost... Which is really pathetic, considering that there are only three sections.

Anyway...

Um.... Oh, right! Does anyone have any reequests/ideas/suggestions as for who I should draw next in the Disney Anthro series? Anyone? Actually, I want the ideas but I'm not sure how soon I'll be drawing them...
All my creativity lately is being channeled into these two *big* fanfic projects I'm working on... I'm not planning on putting them up on fanfiction or anything... It's more something I just wanted to write. The one I'm particularly excited about is an AU story of Aladdin, sort of a retelling; the characters are the same, the setting is the same, and parts of the plot are the same.... I dunno, but I'm really exctied about writing it.

Gah! Darn it! Late! I needs to sleep now...

No wonder I'm so tired....

Not that I could ever hope to cook that well. But still... It's hard to put a finger on it, but little Remy's struggles really, as the cliche goes, 'hit home'.
The story was really sweet, the animation was beautiful, the characters were great, and it left me with that goey-feeling inside. Of course, I love rats and all sorts of rodents, and - in all honesty - I love food, too, so I guess it was 'my kind of movie'. Really, I thrive off of films with strong characters, so this was gold for me.

Anyway... After a looong, frustrated break, and picked up my PSP yesterday and tried to get past the level I was stuck on in Daxter... And made it! Geez, I love that game. The story's not nearly as good as the other Jak and Daxter game, in my opinion, but it's got some really funny lines.

Only problem is, I'm stuck again. >.< I've got to chase a Prison Zoomer on this little scooter... Not only does the Zoomer throw bombs at you, but I'm probably the worst video game driver in the world. Especially when it comes to that whole 'going in a straight line' thing. I musta tried it about fifteen times last night... Ah, well. If at first you don't succeed- Er, if at fifteenth, that is. But seriously, it's a really fun game. Definitely worth a look at for any Jak and Daxter fan.

On the topic of Jak and Daxter, a printed out a game script for Jak X last night, as well... So now I've read the script to e'ry game except Jak 3, and, oh, well... Daxter. But the latter is because I don't want to spoil anything. And the former I've seen most of the cut scenes for. So it's cool.
Jak X seems pretty awesome... I'd be awful at the game part, but the story line is pretty darn cool.

Oh, and by the way... If you read this, Aqua-Taco, it's your fault I'm obsessed with this game series again - and in the first place!...

...And every stinking little mark shows up. -sigh- I realize that scanners are supposed to do that, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.
Look, I can't draw lightly, and half the lines on this stinkin' picture won't erase with an eraser. So I can't fix it up in the original.
And then all I have to use on the computer is stinkin' paint! You really can't clean a picture up on paint - it looks horrible.
So what the heck am I supposed to do with this stinkin' picture?!?! Gah!!! To go full-circle...
I hate scanners!
