Were it a little newer I would just wipe and reformat the thing but its almost 5 years old. Thankfully my parents agreed to cover half the cost of a new one for christmas. I also finally caved and recently bought some leather and leather dye.....had been meaning to do that for a while but just recently found a place to buy leather at a down right cheap price! This means I'll be turning out some leather goodies in the future....I'm starting out with small stuff like bracelets and cuffs but plan to work my way up to tooled scroll tubes, armor, and the like.

well between now and my last journal i've finishes my co-op, graduated college, and been actively job hunting. A combination of crappy economy and the time of year I graduated has been making it kind of hard finding a job though. I graduated in Dec. so most the companies I interviewed with basically told me they wouldn't know if they were actually hiring till sometime mid-quarter after the new year. I guess for the most part that's pretty understandable. I'm not very optimistic about the economy though.....companies are layingoff people left and right.
In the meantime im hoping to get my craft on and actually start posting stuff here again. I don't know if i'll be doing more fractal work.....i've really had the itch lately to try leather crafting. yay armor

The planets aligned, the gods smiled on me and i somehow finally FINALLY got a co-op. I cant even put in words how much of a relief it is to me to know ill have work experience before i graduate. My co-op started jan 21st so ive only been there about a month buts its been pretty cool so far. Its nice knowing that what im working on might actually get used for something useful. programming projects for school always frustrated me because it was like "what is this gona be good for?"

In other news i got my second tattoo over Thanksgiving break.....ment to post a pic of it sooned but just didnt . ill put a pic of it up in my scraps then. Had a allergic reaction to this one aswell....i think it was the antibiotic ointment. Im very pleased how it turned out though regardless.

other than that im happily just cruisin for the moment

life for me has been pretty much going on as usual this summer....i did go to an awesome celtic fling this weekend though.....great music, awesome food, friendly people made for a great day. i ended up ordering a pair of medieval looking moccasins/boots from catskill mountain moccasins while i was there.....they're a little expensive but i think it will be well worth it....when i was looking at some of their samples they seemed pretty durable. the gift im most happy about ( mostly im surprised my parents actually got it for me) is a wacom digital drawing tablet!
now i know im not very skilled when it comes to sketchign or drawing or anything but i love to doodle and now i can take doodling to the EXTREME (and im tired of my mouse )
