well, I'm in an art block that is lasting...I feel too much annoyed, depressed and stressed. Not exactly though...I was pretty stressed, but I did identify what causes it, but not my art block. Even though I might have comparison problems inferiority complex, that doesn't mean why I cannot draw anything! I mean, I know it, so why can't I come up with something anyway? I mean, I feel depressed, I should be able to draw something about it, but, no!!!! Nothing!!! I'm pissed of.........

I start and it's doesn't do what I wish and I get angry and I'm ending ripping off my drawing.....

Ya know what, I have missed my own 5 000 hits!!!

I didn't think it would come so fast!!! Everything is passing too fast. It's almost 6 months in my new job and I feel like it's been one year!

Everyday I come to work, at the end of my shift, I feel like it's only been 5 minutes. Sure, my body knows it's not, but I still feel like it!!

My age, my studies, etc, everything is going so fast!........wondering how the future will be like?...

due to some questions on my previous journal entry, there is nothing special. It was a day when everything seemed sooo....bright! Soooo...nice. It arrives sometimes when I'm pretty okay with myself and just a moment of happiness meet a neuron of satisfaction and my brain goes "dzzzt"! and I go euphoric!!!

Yesterday was a day of joy and for a reason: It's been nine years of love between me and my gf!!!

I'm still soooo happy with her and we hope for many years to come together....

ya I'm alive. Just...occupied. I work there and there (supposed to be only weekends, but I do some more for more cash), attend to the Fantasia Festival, drive between my home, my work and friends and try to do other things. Pretty busy so I'm sorry for the pageviews gift. I know there is two I have to finish!

Anyway, besides that life is okay. I'll try to cosplay Akira from Monochrome Factor and my gf will do Shirogane!!! lol That would be for the Otakuthon on the 1st and 2nd of August. I don't know if I will have the time though.

I read something interesting on the journal of

talking about negative people. I thought about my life and yours...I feel lucky to what I have and I always been curious about everything. If I hadn't, a lot of you wouldn't be my friends and I wouldn't even be on DA!!!

When I'm depressed and I do some negative comments in my head about everything...I disgust myself. I try not to be, really, 'cause it's not worth it. Life is short and sure there is bad moments, but...I guess it's there to remind us the good and great times we had.

Today, I want to say thanks to all my friends that supported me on my search for a job, the time I was sad and frustrated, the time I cried 'cause I thought I was alone. That's not true, you were there and leaved some comments and give me some hug.

well, nothing new besides.............I have a F*****G NEW JOOOOOOOOOOB!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!!!!

Finally!!!! After soooooooo many months of longing and hopes!

I work on the weekend nights shift (3pm to 11pm/ 15h to 23h)!!! I feel tired on monday morning, but I'll be taking my rythm soon enough. What I think is sooo nice is that it counts for my training, it was the last step to obtain my diploma in hotel reception!!!!

Finally I can die in peace after that!

Besides that, I have started a garden!!! I planted peas, cucumbers, tomatoes and a watermelon!!! It is growing little by little and it's pretty funny! I like that!

Je travaille dans une charmante auberge de 25 chambres Ã MontrÃ©al dans le Quartier Latin et Ã deux pas de mon ancien CÃ©gep. J'y travaille le quart de chiffre de nuit le samedi et dimanche (15h Ã 23H). Laissez-moi vous dire que je suis assez fatiguÃ©e le lundi matin, mais Ã§a vaut la peine. Puis, je finirai par prendre mon rythme aussi! Ce que je trouve de plus gÃ©nial lÃ -dedans c'est que ses heures vont compter pour mon stage qui va me donner enfin mon diplÃ´me en rÃ©ception d'hÃ´tellerie!!!!

Je peux donc mourir en paix aprÃ¨s Ã§a!

lol Je suis assez contente et fiÃ¨re!

Ensuite, ben j'ai commencÃ© un potager!!! J'y ai plantÃ© des concombres, des tomates, des radis, des Ã©chalottes, des petits pois et un melon d'eau!!! J'aime Ã§a et c'est amusant de voir Ã§a grandir!

Valentine day was great and my introduction to swedish massage was super fun. However, I'm stiff! My thighs and my arms are in pain. Doesn't seem like it, but doing massages is...hard exercice!!!!

Hm...

I guess it's not easy to face the truth sometimes. Even more when it's a flaw. Don't we say "Truth hurts!"? I wish to be better, but sometimes I don't see why?!

After all, most of the society is selfish and enclose in their own little world...but...why's that? Because of people like me that don't bother if others don't!

I don't like society, so why would I care to communicate or do some nice actions for it?...I guess it's the start of it. The start of the end!!!

I was offered to do voluntary work and...today, the person in charge said to my mother that I could go see them this week. I asked my mom why would I do that? At first I thought "yes why not", but now that it is more concrete...

To be honest, the first thing that pass through my mind at that moment was "I will have less time to pass with my girlfriend! Why would I care; I'm not even paid for that!" although I did know this, since the start................

Okay, what's going on with me?

I have tried a lot of things for jobs;

artic gardens (in their factory), graphic design assistant (failed twice; bankrupt and the other cie didn't have the project they wanted, so no extra money for me), receptionnist for house agents (Sutton Millenia), receptionnist for a construction cie, receptionnist for a hotel, receptionnist for a catering, cashier for Couche-tard (convenience store) twice and in strawberries and raspberries fields!!! I have my diploma of graphic design, studies in secretary and an almost diploma in hotel reception!!!...and nevertheless, I don't have a joooooob!!!!

I just needed to let it out!!! haaaaaaaaaaa! That's goood! Well, it's a fact, I don't have a job and I sleep like 13hours a day and wake up at 3 p.m. It's true, my girlfriend isn't there, so I don't know what to do, but it's not only that I guess.

I have to be honest with myself; I just don't want to think about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, reception's directors says it would be better in March and April for a training and my teachers too. That's nice, but for the moment, I need what everybody needs every day: CASH!!!!! and more then that; security and a career.

Hi...

do not feel right those days. You know...life is made of change. We change, we evoluate if I can say...There's always times to think of ourselves and made some changes in our behaviors. I do not like myself. I want to change though but it's hard for the moment...I mean...I have some difficulties to know which behaviors at wich moment are wrong. I'm faaaaaaaaaaaar far away from perfection, but that's not my goal.

I need to find myself, my true self, not the image that people have from me. What am I in real? What is it to change? You might not follow me, but it's okay. I'll try figure it out...but I'm hurt. I deceived people around me. Some nice friends are angry against me and I just feel veeeeery lonely...and do not know what they want from me anymore. So I don't know which attitude I should have with them either!!!

Je me sens pas bien ces derniers temps. Vous savez...on change, on Ã©volue. Il y a des moments oÃ¹ il est temps de faire un peu d'introspection. Changer d'attitude, savoir ce qu'on va faire de nous, bref, un moment de remise en question de soi. Je ne m'aime pas du tout, mais je voudrais que Ã§a change. Mais c'est trÃ¨s dur...En ce sens que je ne sais plus trop quelles sont les attitudes Ã changer et dans quelles circonstances...Je ne suis pas parfaite, c'est sÃ»r et je ne dÃ©sire pas l'Ãªtre.

Je dois me retrouver. Vraiment, mes faiblesses, mes forces, mes dÃ©fauts, mes qualitÃ©s, pas la vision des autres comment ils me perÃ§oivent, mais ma vraie nature. Vous ne suivez peut-Ãªtre pas ce que je dit, mais ce n'est pas grave. Je vais trouver moi-mÃªme Ã la longue, mais j'ai beaucoup de peine. 01. What is your pen name?
Ichan. Some people might have noticed that my signature doesn't have any link with "Mihael" or "Kaissalam". My nickname in a certain moment was Ikeda. My girlfriend took it and made: I-chan. I just put out the dash and so I sign IC for Ichan!

02. What made you choose this name?
'cause it remembers me my link with Shab (my girlfriend's nickname is in reality Shaba). She is my first fan too, so! Besides I find it funny to say!

03. Do you use PC or Mac?
I use PC, but I would looooove to have a Mac...

My iMac is not updated and the screen is dying!!!

04. What programs do you use most often?
Photoshop. I have Open Canvas, but I find it more difficult without a graphic tablet. I looove Illustrator but I don't have it on my PC.

05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
My mouse. I don't have a tablet. That's why it is a pain in the **s for me to put a drawing in color. I manage to do it, but...

06. What color or color combinations do you find yourself using most often?
Violet, black, silver and green.

07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
Hair, eyes, mouth and fingers. I loooove to do hair by pencil. It gives a nice touch!

08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
It depends...5 minutes for a sketch of a character and 10 minutes for the lineart. For those in colors with pencils I can take to 20 minutes to 4 hours. When do it by toshop, it takes me days, so in hours...maybe 10 hours?

Hi,

hmmm...I said I would give news about my job and people were curious about how it was...Well...I don't have a job anymore!!!

My boss told me she would give me a week of essay, but she had already made her mind, so tuesday noon I was fired and she let me quit by my own free will. She did it this way, 'cause anyway I would have done it.

It wasn't my place...I was nauseous almost every morning and was mortified at my workdesk...Twice I have...hmmmm...rejected my breakfast...I couldn't even eat anymore. I burst in tear in Marie's arms almost every night. I couldn't do it...In one way, it was my fault.

Please, what I will say now is just because I have wonderful friends and a great teacher.

...I was a timid and naive girl when I was a child and when I grew up, I was always in my own world. Maybe 'cause I didn't have siblings or any friends close to my house of my age, but what it resulted is an indifference for the others. Adults were perfect companions. They talked for me. Since this time, I had problems to communicate with people.

I didn't play games besides Scrabble and Monopoly (wich I hated the most).
I'm slow to make links between things and informations.

Those problems were shown in my job and...wich I'm not proud to say...I thought, after 2 days since the end of my training, that I wasn't so bad on the phone...I stopped taking back my binders with me...In other words, I had stop studying thinking I was good enough...I shouldn't have...It was the end the day I thought that...

I'm not stressed anymore even though I don't have any job anymore. I will never stop looking for this job career as a RECEPTIONNIST, not a TELEPHONIST!!!!! lol I will not make twice the same error.

Now, you know everything. Do not worry for me. It was like that. Things that do not kill me will make me stronger.

100. Relaxation

Hi,

I didn't came on DA since almost 3 weeks!!! OMG! What did I do? Been starting my training at the Hotel Gouverneur head office. A ton of information tumbled on me. I have to mention that as a telephonist at the reservation head office, we do not give and take reservation for one hotel, we have to take it for 11 hotels from the Gouverneur hotels chain!!!! ELEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!! AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!! I thought I would become crazy! Seriously, it was too much...I was becoming sooo unsure of myself on that. I did some simulations, but it made me very nervous.

Today, I have started with real customers (I was practicing with two supervisors before)!!! I was sooo disappointed of myself. The first call I have taken was by a stupid jerk who didn't let me talk for a sec...!!! I was sooo mad!!!! One of the supervisor told me I was to severe on myself. Still, it made me sooo nervous I couldn't help myself crying after that call.

I had pass through a lot in my different jobs, but that...I don't remember being nervous as to cry in front of a supervisor!!! Seriously? I'm not even sure I want to work there...I made stupid mistakes and lost my nerves...I hate being like that.....*sigh* I feel like crap...

voilÃ presque 3 semaines que je ne suis venue sur DA, qu'est-ce que je faisais? Mon stage au siÃ¨ge social des HÃ´tels Gouverneurs...J'ai Ã©tÃ© ensevelie de tonnes d'information. J'ai cru devenir folle et dé

hone au siÃ¨ge social, on ne s'occupe pas que d'un hÃ´tel, mais de 11 hÃ´tels!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNzzzzzzzzzeeeee!!!! Je doutais de moi sans arrÃªt et mÃªme en simulation, je restais extrÃªmement nerveuse.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai finalement commencÃ© avec de vrais clients (pas les 2 superviseures)!! Je suis tombÃ©e sur un connard de premiÃ¨re qui ne me laissait mÃªme pas parler! J'Ã©tais super frustrÃ©e! Une des superviseures m'a dit que j'Ã©tais trop dure avec moi-mÃªme, mais mÃªme Ã cela, je n'ai pu m'empÃªcher de pleurer aprÃ¨s cet appel.

J'en ai vÃ©cu des trucs dans mes diffÃ©rents emplois! Mais jamais au point de pleurer devant un(e) superviseur(e)! SÃ©rieusement? Je ne suis mÃªme pas sÃ»re d'avoir envie de travailler lÃ -bas...J'ai fait des erreurs stupides et perdu mon sang-froid...Je me dÃ©teste dans ces moments-lÃ ...*sigh* Je me sens misÃ©rable.....

Hello,

It's been a time since I didn't talk about what I was doing. I have made a try with one hotel: Comfort Hotel & Suites downtown Montreal (

). It was disappointing for me. They were not bad people, not at all...but most of the employees didn't have a real passion for hotel reception. The receptionnists were connected by family bounds. It was more for part job and service to the family.

The manager was too busy to call me and make up her mind. By the time I was waiting, I had 2 interviews with: Auberge de La Fontaine (

) and Les Gouverneurs (

). The Auberge is for houskeeping and reception. Les Gouverneurs is for making reservation by phone. I prefer the 1st one, but I'll try and we'll see!

Yeah, so my career is starting slowly but surely and the try I made at the Comfort Hotel confirmed my passion for hotel reception. I feel great for that!!!

Yes, my course is at the end. We go on training 1st of september. Though I don't have any place yet to go. I'm talking about it and the phone just rang...it was the place I ask for a training!!! I have to met them (2 woman) tomorrow morning!!!

Talk about coincidence!!! I was just saying that it is the last step for our diploma. I never failed any exams during this class and proud to finish it.

As I say, I'm sleeping...My first week of vacancy is made of sleep. The first weekend, (19th and 20th of july) were full of activity though.

On that weekend I've been to Fantasia (Festival of horror and action movies, most of them asian) (I crossed Lina and Ari there) wich I didn't know I would go, it wasn't planned (but my girlfriend bought a pass to a collegue at her job, at first it was for my friend Sauffy, but finally I ended up with it). I saw 3 amazing movies, 4 short movies in one and 6 nice quebecker short movies. I would have love to see more, but on sunday, my girlfriend's family show up and we finally decided to go to La Ronde (amusement park).

Marie wasn't upset at all that I didn't use more the pass (after all, she's the one who bough it) actually, she was more happy that I stayed with her and had some nice fun at the amusement park.

After that weekend, I finally got the vacancy I was looking for. Nothing to do...Actually, I drove Marie at her job, got breakfast, sleeping soundly, reading some Agatha Christie, sleep again, helped for dinner and go to sleep again until the morning. Even when Marie was with me it was like that. She does a lot of over work, soo she is dreadly tired when she comes back (she even works the weekends...that gives you a sign of how she could be tired).

Tomorrow I'll go to the Otakuthon and I'll continue my research for a training.

J'ai passÃ© la majeure partie de mon temps Ã dormir. Sauf le 19 et 20 jullet passÃ©, oÃ¹ j'ai eu plein de trucs Ã faire.

La famille de ma copine a dÃ©barquÃ© et pour faire court, aprÃ¨s bien des complications, ils ont dÃ©cidÃ© d'aller Ã La Ronde (parc d'attractions). Ma copine n'Ã©tait pas fÃ¢chÃ©e que je n'utilise pas plus la passe que cela, bien au contraire, elle Ã©tait trÃ¨s contente de pouvoir passer un peu de temps avec moi.

AprÃ¨s toute cette agitation, j'ai pu enfin goÃ»ter Ã mes vacances qui consiste en gros, cette semaine Ã : dormir, aller conduire ma copine au travail, dÃ©jeuner, lire, redormir, aider au souper et aller me recoucher. MÃªme si ma copine est venue chez moi 2-3 fois, la routine est restÃ©e la mÃªme. Marie travaille toute la semaine et la fin de semaine en plus. Guess everything is well. Nothing much to declare!

Nah, really, I'm taking this weekend smoooth and relax. That doesn't mean I'm in great shape, I still feel tired.

The week passed in calm...or almost. Some problem at school with one of the teacher but I won't extend on to this 'cause I don't wanna explain it. Let's just say it's an awkward situation for me...I hope it will settle in peace!

Besides it everything went well. The week have passed really fast, mostly 'cause we had the Canada birthday holiday on tuesday, so the week seemed very short!

I don't have the pics of the kitten yet, since my camera broke before going to see them.

So, I'm waiting for a friend to send some to me!

I'm okay, the psychological side is great, but the physical conditions are painful...:fainted: My shoulders, my back and my anckles are soare...and tense.

First of all, I had great time with

and it was nice to see her again. I got what I wanted and even some more like..."Wild Roooooock" (yaoi manga)!!! So, I had a lot of fun (even though the weather was humid and hot. We walked a lot so my anckles are dead)!!!

Second, I had to pain the ceiling of the room I've been kicked out! So, I'm soooo hurt in the neck and the shoulders (even my wrists)! I was soooo pissed of, but....Oh, well...it's passed now so....

Third, I had some nice time with my friends Tania and Sauffy on saturday night and today.

Finally, I'm excited for tuesday, I'll finally see the kittens of Gaia!!! Yeah!!!

A nice week of school would be great with that!

That's what a friend told me: I was a grandmother!!!
I was really like: "What? Huh?" It took me some time to understand that Gaia gave birth to her kittens!!! I'm sooo happy! She have four kittens and are in good health, including her. I will see them next tuesday and I'll take some pictures!!! I can't wait!

Life is getting better, a fresh wind is blowing instead of steam of fury. lol I might see

tomorrow after some months and hope to have some good time. I'll have to go and buy some pencils too. A good day of fun and shopping!

And cherry on the cake, I'll see my girlfriend the evening, so, the best of the world!

yes, I think I am better.

I just needed to let go some steam. I do not draw more easily, but it's not big deal anymore. Sure, it bothers me somewhere, but maybe I just needed to not think too much about it. After all, to perform is not a reason to draw. Draw is for fun, to express some feelings, waits, hopes, wishes, etc.

As for school, well...I'll just deal with it. I mean, I don't force my self to go and learn but, I'm too impatient. I demand a lot of myself and I forgot to have some fun first. Somewhat, I didn't remember that teachers are some kind of parents or friends (depends of the teachers). I have some experience in hotel reception, so I guess I took the hopes of my teachers on my shoulders a bit too much.

I have this bad habit of wanting more and faster than what I can get or do...

Besides that, I just talk a bit of my fears and hopes with my girlfriend. I guess she knows me better then myself!!!

She understands even better than me!!! Well, the most important is to be together and still get along.

Peut-Ãªtre dois-je revoir mon approche et la raison de dessiner?...C'est le moment d'y penser. AprÃ¨s tout, on ne dessine pas pour impressionner le voisin! Ãa devrait Ãªtre pour l'expression de soi, pour transmettre ou faire comprendre les sentiments, la joie, les peines, les espoirs, etc.

Quant au sujet de l'Ã©cole...ben, disons que je m'en suis peut-Ãªtre trop mis sur les é

aules. J'ai oubliÃ© qu'apprendre devrait se faire pour le plaisir. J'aurais dÃ» me rappeler que les profs sont des parents ou des amis supplÃ©mentaires. Ils veulent beaucoup pour nous et Ã©tant donnÃ© que j'ai de l'expÃ©rience dans le domaine, ils attendent beaucoup de moi. Je me le suis trop appropriÃ©. J'ai nÃ©gligÃ© le fait que c'est pour moi que je le fais ce cours et que les profs ne dÃ©sirent que m'aider!

Have you ever had the almost worst day of your life? You know, it's starting like nothing, you had a not so bad weekend with some friends...then, everything is falling apart, one by one? You fight with your lover or your friend, you do not perfom in your career or work as much as you do those few days before? You know, like what you think you did great is actually not?

Is there some day like you have this same song about what you did and what you should have done? What could have been best to say or not? Or that you need some sympathy or affection and actually, around you there is no people to give you what you need? Is it normal to turn in circle like that? Is it normal to doesn't know what you want, even after 25 years?

I know it was just a bad hair day, but I was soooo upset all day long...and now that I think I could say something nice, it would be empty meaning? Like it's too late, but not totally, just don't fit in anymore...

I can't even draw something nice tonight...What did I do that was worth the effort to wake up this morning?

I'm just sooooo angry about myself!!!!! I feel like I accomplish nothing...

I love the hotel reception and wouldn't let it unfinished, but...just don't know where I'll go with it in my hand after?...One of my teacher told me he was disappointed about my choice of hotels for my training.......I felt soooo totally great after that (ironic)!!!...

Am I not the best judge to know that(even though it's a training and I might afford to try a bigger place...sounds arrogant?...)? I don't feel great in a big building or have the responsibility of more then a hundred rooms....that's just not me! I like the personnal service of a little hotel...strangely I like the power I can have when I'm almost alone. The thrill to do all by yourself!!!! Contradictory, I cannot assume the management of a bigger place then 50 to 99 rooms!

Yeah, I just let out what I have in my mind those passed days.

It might calm a bit, but I don't know the end of it...my mother is coming back at the end of the week (friday to be more exact)...

My mom is at the airport for the moment! She will be gone for 15 days (in Belgium of course)! 15 days of FRE-EDOM!!! Hear me?! FREEEEEEEE-DOOOOOOOOM! Haaaaaaaaaa!.....that feels good. lol Do not take me wrong; I like my mother very much...but to go back home to live with her (until I finish my course in Hotel Reception) is not the party. We are too much different.

This weekend I have planned to play Dungeons & Dragons! It's been ages since I had the time. Not easy when 2 of them are working and the 2 others (including myself) is at school. We do not have the same schedule of course....Eh, it's life!
Besides it, I miss very much my girlfriend, but Oh well! Part of life/work! It's not the end, so I'll have to be patient.

That's how I am feeling those last days!!! I feel like I want to conquer the world....of hotels!!! lol Yah, I have started my diploma in hotel reception and it goes very well. I have almost completed the half of the formation!!!! Time flies! It is one of the reason I'm rarely on DA. It is sad for me, but anyways, I'll find some time.
Since I have started, I didn't do a lot of other stuff. I wish I could buy an Ipod shuffle, but don't have money for it... but!!!! but! I have a PS3!!!!!!!and a PSP!!!!!!! I'm sooooo happy! 'Cause my girlfriend bought for me a game: LAIR!!!!!! If you don't know it already, I just loooooooooooooove dragons! So, the game is that you control a dragon and you have to defend your kingdom! The story is linear, but very interesting to play! I just love it! Yaayyyyy!

Je me sens prÃªte Ã conquÃ©rir le monde!!! C'est comme Ã§a que je me sens depuis quelques jours. La rÃ©ception d'hÃ´tellerie est fait pour moi! lol Depuis que j'ai commencÃ© ce DEP tout va trÃ¨s bien! Je suis presque rendue Ã la moitiÃ© de la formation! Le temps passe vite! C'est une des raisons pour lesquelles je ne suis pas souvent sur DA, mais je trouverai un peu plus de temps pour.

Je n'ai pas vraiment fait grand chose depuis que je suis retournÃ©e Ã l'Ã©cole. Je voulais bien m'acheter un Ipod shuffle, mais j'ai pas d'argent pour....Par-contre, j'ai une PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! et une PSP!!!!!! J'ai commencÃ© un nouveau jeu sur PS3 que ma copine m'a achetÃ©; LAIR!!!!!! Pour ceux et celles qui ne savent pas je suis en amouuuuur avec les dragons! Et le jeu est que le joueur contrÃ´le un guerrier qui monte un dragon et il faut dÃ©fendre notre royaume contre les envahisseurs!!!! L'histoire est linÃ©aire (ce n'est pas un RPG; cela fonctionne par mission en mÃªme temps que l'histoire avance), mais la faÃ§on de jouer est gÃ©niale!!! J'adore, tout simplement!!!

Hi,

been a loooooong time since last time. Anyways, it's because I started school in march, so, I get little time to be on the internet.

I have started a class in hotel reception. I just looooove what I'm doing right now. It's only for 6 months (training included). My teachers (Pierre-Alexandre Lessard & AndrÃ© Simard) are just sooo funny and great. I like them very much. They are the best for this class and we have nice times. My group; 18 other students are great, I could tell all their names after one week. I have found my voice of career, really. I remembered I looove working in a hotel, but now, I have more to be able to work better in that domain.

It's great! I have draw other things on the 100 themes challenge and will update as soon as I can....so I don't know when! This month for sure though!!!
