It has been on my mind for a while now. I'm thinking about "leaving" the site. It has nothing to do with conflicts or anything but how can I say this...nothing seems worth it, really. To be brutally honest, I work hard to put out pieces and really, they all seem to go unnoticed, with the exception of a few people that notice. I'm not here to start drama. These are just my true feelings. It all seems like a waste of my time to go out of my way to post things here.


I am weighing the pros and cons of everything...I think, though, I might just remove all the pieces that are important to be and only be around to comment...but no submission of artwork.

Nothing is concrete as of yet...

To everyone who has read this...thanks for listening. Advice and the like are welcomed.

In happier news, I'm going to get a betta fish one of these days! For those who don't know, I'm not allowed to have pets in the house that are pricey, require help from my parents, loud, need a lot of care, or have to move around a lot. So, the only option that really leaves me with is a plant or a fish, and since my uncle owns a fish store, why not?

Okay. So here's the part where I need some advice. There are some pieces of mine that mean a lot to me and I want to post them up, BUT I have this paranoia that people might steal them. Is it justified that I feel so strongly about these pieces? I suppose I could stamp that gigantic copyright stamp on them....but I don't know, I don't want to ruin the quality either. So, any and all advice would be appreciated!

I've also returned from my trip to Vancouver. It is crazy over there. They got lots of snow and didn't know what to do with it. Did lots of shopping, not much drawing, just a few character sketches. Not much was done but shop, eat, and sleep. XD

On another note, my house apparently doesn't have heat. Well, it's producing some heat but it's not blowing it up to upstairs level. So...I have the coldest room in the house and no heat, crappy. It feels below zero in here and there isn't much I can do about it. @_@

So...how did everyone celebrate the coming of a new year? I just sat here on my computer. 8D

The day started out with me meeting with a friend at the mall and hanging out, I managed to pick up a book called "Sweetheart Killers", which is pretty much on killers who were couples. I mean, it's kinda' sweet in a very twisted up manner, much like myself. After, we met up with my other friend and he got us to a new-opened ramen shop called Muku, where we also met the friend he brought along. How he got us there without crashing into something is amazing, that's probably why his father super glued a little Buddha to the car. O_o We managed to purchase some cupcakes from a place called Crave that sells them for $3 each...kinda' pricey. =\

After eating ramen, we headed over to the paintball place. I have never played paintball before so I was scared out of my mind. Damn those guns are heavy after a while, I must say. So we headed out to the arena annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd....I never got shot! Go me. I was really scared because we were up against jocks and uh...people that smelled heavily of marijuana. :S

After that, we went and did some karaoke. Yeah, my voice is a little too deep to be on microphone, lol. Afterwards, we drove into a random gas station, bought a lighter, put candles into the cupcakes and they started singing "Happy Birthday". It was awesome but all the cars going past and the people in the gas bar seemed...kind of confused. There's two cars parked outside, two people sitting on top of a car, two people standing, all four people eating something colourful, one of them is taking pictures...yeah, I see how that would kind of make people wonder. :3

My voice is now officially not sounding right from all the yelling and singing. That's cool. I sound like gruffer man than I normally do.

In other news, it turns out that the day for my birthday is also the US holiday for Thanksgiving. An early Happy Thanksgiving for my American friends out there.

...not much else is new...except I'm looking for a camera to buy. Nothing fancy, just a durable digital one under $200 that won't break after 1 1/2 years. =_= So if you have any suggestions, I'd love to know. It would be most helpful if it was available for purchase in a store that exists in Canada. XD Thanks~!

Thinking about doing commissions, an input would be nice! Not so sure my stuff is up to par...but that's why I'm throwing the question out there for everyone to have a say.

Not much has been new with me. I've picked up a summer job that's from July 4th-13th, and if you can guess what it's for, you totally get something like a sketch. I'll give you a hint, it's a spectacular event! I got a job as a food vendor....that walks up and down isles yelling something like "WATER! GET YOUR WATER!", fun. I swear the interviewer never told me that I'd be walking up and down stairs for hours or that I'd be handling money. I have this weird thing with handling money and food at the same time, don't like it....I've become a slight germaphobe... *cough* _{I totally carry sanitizer with me.} *cough*

Just got back from eating out and blargh. I really hate it when you want a glass of water or something and call to the waiter politely but they pretend you aren't even there. So here we are just sitting at our table and waiting for our bucket of rice to come. Our food is here but there's no rice. It took forever for someone to come over and get us our rice, as did it take a long time for them to refill it. Maybe it's just me but a little better customer service would be nice. I think we made ourselves look stupid just trying to get the attention of a waiting staff.

I have been on an insane art inspiration thing after my picture Memento Vivere, so look for more marker + pencil crayon works to come.

I brought home my Memento Mori chair and my Ying Yang painting....I kinda' want to sell them but hell, no one would buy them. My room is too damn small to hold all of this stuff. What else is new....OH! I've started on a project thing involving my characters. It's like...major events in their lives. First up is my now ex-serial killer Schroeder Flarette. I don't know what the inside of a church looks like but I think I drew it fine. Not to say that I'm dissing churches or anything, I just...er...go to Buddhist temples. o-o

And uh...yeah....I just discovered how awesome Stabilo and Atelier Iris 3 is. I can't find Monster Rancher 4 because it's so old! Well, I did but it was used and like $50, what the hell?! IT'S BLOODY OLD AND USED. >_> Got DMC4 but haven't touched it yet, probably should. Brave New Story: New Traveler for the PSP is pretty fun.

2. Sea Life Caverns! Wewt. I was playing with the stingrays. 8D The anenome scared me because it clung to my hand. D:

3. The random man and the messaging chair. That was too funny to forget! It's like the guy was having an orgasm in the chair. XD Kudos to you for brightening my day!

4. How cramped the back seats were. I couldn't do anything with my legs and it pissed me the hell off. I'm a restless person. I must moooooooove.

According to what he says, there's a saying of how you can truly call yourself an artist, when you know that you truly are an artist, is if you can confess to something that has gotten you this far that you probably shouldn't have done. Not all confessions necessarily have to be bad ones.

1. I used to draw for fun but now, it has become my life. I cannot go without it.

2. Back in the days of elementary and first year jr. high, I would often draw in someone else's style or do fanart, I do not do that now. I have stayed with my personal drawing style and have strayed far from fanart.

3. Believe it or not, I used to be one of those overreacting people that could not take criticism. I can take it now but I do get a little annoyed over the occasional person that tells me my character doesn't look enough like Sephiroth or some other well known character, I'm not here to do fanart. I'm here to make my own characters, not leech off someone's creation.

4. I am one of those people that are not drawing to please others. I draw for my own sake and to expand my own originality and creativity. If people like what I draw, that's just a bonus.

5. I've gotten this far on my own spirit and will. My father used to try to teach me but it would never work. I picked up a pencil, got some paper, and worked at my own pace. I'm proud of where I stand at the moment, I strive to become better with my own hands.

6. My main source of inspiration is my mind and....my blank wall. Call me crazy but my blank white wall is amazing!

1. Rollerblading
Funniest thing ever until your feet start to hurt. People were dropping like flies and funny how some people wouldn't accept my help when I went out of my way to try and help them up. That bus ride was crazy! People were bouncing out of their seats, I swear! Poor Kenny could hardly fit in a seat because he was too tall.

2. Culinary Arts
Still doing paperwork, hate paperwork. Though it was kind of funny when someone shared his cupcake with me and it was crunchy. Since when were cupcakes crunchy? O_O

3. Not Getting Sick
Yup. The best thing ever. I haven't been sick for awhile now and that makes me extremely happy. For those that don't know, I used to constantly get sick because my immune system wasn't in top shape. I'm not sure if it still is but I'm taking daily vitamins now. Not exactly the best tasting things but that's alright.

What a year it has been. I've made some new friends and that makes me happy. I like having friends.

I've also experienced a lot this year. From being used by people who I thought were friends to finding love. I just know 2007 will be one of the greatest years of my life. What an adventure we have ahead of ourselves. I think my goal for this year, like it has been for every year is to become better at art. I know I can do this and I'm going to make it happen. ^^ I do have another goal and that's to keep someone happy for as long as I'm here. =]
