I've got a lot of work to do. So much work...unbelievable amounts of work...that wasn't a complete sentence. But hey bitches, I've been drawing like a motherfucker! I'm finally inspired again. Yeah!!!

It would seem that while my life has finally, in some twisted way, taken a turn for the better, the lives of my damn favorite TV characters has taken a turn for the worst. Fucking Tony Almeida is fucking evil again, and thusly is probably going to fucking die....AGAIN. *cries hysterically at the possibility of losing the beloved Slouchy for a second time* I would be more worried about Jack, but he's Jack Bauer, so I really doubt he'll kick the bucket. And....I haven't seen Ben Linus in a week. Lost is all about Ben and his creepy creepy creepy deliciousness. Well....whatever. I have no life.

I drew some ladies cuddling on each other while a tornado threatens to kill them. I actually kinda dig the picture. AND I'm workin on a bigass battle scene based on the casts in our school's cast hall. That is turning out much better than I had expected. I'm drawing some trees and as always, a whole buttload of naked folk. I should probably get a more professional attitude about all of that. I just like the reaction I get when I say I'm drawing naked people as opposed to the reaction I get when I say I'm working from nude models. Whatevs. I suppose none of this means anything to anyone until I put me up some pictures. I should do that. Maybe after school gets out.

In other awesome news, I'm going to be in school all summer. Not so sure if this is a good thing or not.....I guess we'll see.

Also, my creative writing class is having a poetry reading this Wednesday. Seeing as almost none of y'all live in Philly, I don't know what importance that has, but uh, it's happening. I may or may not put some of my crapass poetry up here.

My scanner still hates me. I got one lousy scan out of it and it crapped out on me again. I might have to give in and actually have someone who knows about technological things look at it. *gasp!*

I'm praying for a snow day. I really really want a snow day. I have class until 9:30 tomorrow night. I could use the time off...yes please!

This sounds so bad, but I'm really missing my friends back home. My college homesickness seems to be coming like a year and a half into my college experience instead of instantly like most people. Thing is, and I really don't hold it against anyone, but everyone's so busy that I feel like I don't get to see anyone anymore. It's making me feel quite lonely dammit! I mean, I've been SOOOOO busy too, so I haven't had time to talk talk to my friends back home, but AHHH! I need some real human contact. Or hell, even internet human contact, much as I'm generally averse to it. Oh, and if you read this chica (that would be you ) I MISS CHOO!!!!!

Erm...having some artist's block, like hardcore. So, I kinda want to give the 100 themes thing another try, but maybe with my own weird ass other themes. Having things like that to give me focus really seems to help. Er, okay, so my dumb ass should be focusing on, you know, school assignments. X_X Meh, who's to say that the two can't overlap.

Another thing, I have a strange little love affair with watercolors right now. I mean, I kind of suck balls at watercolor, but I love it. Yay useless information!

I just need something exciting to happen in my life (okay, who fucking doesn't!?!) Well, I need to make it happen I guess, and other such cheesy lines. It's my own damn fault that I haven't left my apartment except for going to school. It's not like there isn't anything that I want to do, it's just that I'm far too tired/lazy/paranoid to actually go out there and do those things.

I'm just stuck in a fantasy world. Maybe that's not all bad (....maybe it is) but I spend most of my time wrapped up in my rpgs, tv, movies, reading etc. and I haven't really bothered to connect with other people. So, really maybe my feelings of isolation are my own damn fault. I can't even count the times my roommate has asked me to go do stuff with her, and I've just turned all the offers down with the excuse of "I have some work to get done", and after that I promptly go put on a movie.

More than anything I just can't let this turn into a repeat of last semester. Which, really, is 100% ( or at least 90%) up to me. So I guess just wish me luck....or give me a verbal kick in the ass. Intimidation does wonders for me.

Anyway, I'll stop bitching, life's not so bad. I really wish those skies would stop looking so clear though. COME ON DAMMIT! SNOW!!!

I'm glad to be in a new semester...new classes. Chance to start fresh and whatnot. In case I hadn't said it before, last semester fucking killed me. I'm in love with my Advanced Cast Studies class. I more or less get to do whatever I want as long as it's vaguely related to the casts. Woohoo!

Also, y'all can roll your eyes at my nerdishness, but I'm mad into the rpg I'm doing...so once my scanner stops being a dick, you'll see lots of things related to that.

Not so nice, I've got the flu, and it doesn't want to die.

What's not cool is that I made myself literally, physically ill, and now have a cold. Of course I do. First chance I get at a break and I get mad sick. So it goes.

Kaliska is a character of mine, who, at least mentally, was designed after me. The sama thing just came to be because I was an anime freak at the time.

Don't know if I've ever said it before, but I'm bipolar, and thusfar, I haven't found anything that helps me without hollowing me out, so to speak.

Lately, I've been caught in a place mentally where I can't make myself leave my apartment for fear of being out in public. I don't want to be around other people, I don't want to talk to other people etc. I'm paranoid that everyone's laughing at me or talking about me behind my back. Then I think that no one even cares enough to laugh at me, or hate me, much less have any positive feelings towards me. I sink even lower. I think this of even those closest to me- my parents, my close friends, my roommates, everyone. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I know it's not true, but it doesn't matter. Some of it's low self esteem. Words cannot describe how desperately I want to change, but I don't know if I have the energy or willpower to do so.

Anyway, for the last month and a half, I've spent most of my days in my room avoiding everyone and everything. I've lied and said I was physically ill, or that I slept through class, or that I had doctors appointments, and I've basically driven myself into a hole academically. I'm just praying that I can salvage some sort of livable grade report at the end of the semester. This assumes that my teachers will be at least somewhat understanding of my situation.

I'm sure it all sounds like an excuse for "I'm lazy and I don't want to go to class", but it's not. I love what I'm doing here. The thought of having to go home is unbelievably terrifying. My problem's not with the work, it's with people and mostly with myself. I don't know if that makes sense. People don't know the feeling of being so mentally afraid to face the world that you can't even leave your own room unless they've felt it. It sounds so ridiculous, but it's so very real to me.

I don't know what any of this matters to anyone but me. I'm trying to force myself to get back into everything, mostly with the help of my roommates. I'm still so anxious every time I'm out of my apartment that I get physically ill. Hopefully having to do massive amounts of homework over the next few weeks will get my mind off of everything else. Sometimes work helps, sometimes it doesn't.

I guess I'm just sorry if I've been distant with everyone. Nobody did anything wrong.

In other news, I'm going on a juice fast for the next week. I'm actually kind of excited about that. I need to do something nice for my body. I've been pretty bad to it for the last few weeks. Whatever.

I did some more life cast modeling. So, now there's at least 4.5 life-sized naked me's out there somewhere. I know at least one of them's in my school. I don't know if I should feel proud of this, or a little freaked out by it...scratch that, it's cool.

I'm not sick anymore, but I'm definitely getting a cold, but so far, it aint so bad. Tis the season I guess.

I'm getting a little bit of work done on my personal work, but it's a little slow with all of my school work. I swear I'll get to it all!!

AAANNNDDD! I'd sell my soul to have Halloween next week. With all the classwork I haven't had any time to get a costume together. T_T So it goes, I guess. I'll make something happen.

Not much. It's Sunday night, and I'm really wishing it wasn't. I am feeling a lot better though. YAY! Back to school and the real world..the one outside of my apartment building, and more importantly...my computer. I have spent the better part of these last three weeks with my ass parked in front of a computer screen, or, you know, in bed. THAT TIME IS OVER BITCHES!!!

Uh, let's see, I've got some new projects a-go. I'm making a costume for my construction class. It's all metal and white sheets, and no, it's not a ghost. I'm not going to try to explain it, but needless to say, the mannequin I'm going to be using is going to get a rude awakening in her vagina area. What else. I'm drawing something for which I am excited about...I get to draw naked people. Still working on my threesome picture. I haven't touched it in a while but I will. AND, I really want to do some sort of large group shot of all my tattooed characters. I love tattoos. I love them so hard.

That's all I've got to talk about. I watched a lot of TV this weekend. Is it alright that I still find the dumb shit that I loved ten years ago entertaining now?

Hope y'all had a sweet weekend...and I need to take a shower and go to bed. I'm getting cast again tomorrow! Three cheers for being naked and covered in plaster!

So, Alana's mysterious illness '08 continues. It's driving me up the wall, and I haven't been able to do anything. I feel so useless. I'm having way too much time to myself, which means I get really depressed. I find myself sitting in front of a mirror and well, no need to go into the angsty speech...you all know where that's going. Needless to say, I'm not always so sad that this mystery illness makes me so nauseous that I can't eat. Whatever.

I promised myself that I wouldn't let myself get like this again. It just spirals downhill until I've burrowed into a hole so deep i need like...industrial strength drilling equipment to get myself out of it. I can't bring myself to tell any of the people close to me how I'm feeling either. I don't know if I'm worried that I'll stress them out (and dear lord, none of them need the extra stress) or if I just figure that none of them will even care.

I, like most people on the planet, just want to be instantly fixed. I know it's not going to happen, and lord knows I'm doing all the reasonable things to change myself the proper way, but I'm never satisfied, and then...I just get like this. And, there are some things that maybe can't be changed. I don't like who I am personality wise. There's not really anything special there, and what I do have can be kind of repulsive. I just really wish I wasn't so vulgar. How does one go about changing that?

Maybe I'm just stupid, and I'm definitely selfish, and I'm going to stop talking. It's about 4 am, and for the millionth night in a row, I'm not in bed. Fuck me...I'm gonna go take my millionth cold shower of the day. Either it's really hot in Philly, or... it's just me.

And on a lighter note ....uh....I painted my fingernails neon orange, and they're awesome. AND AND AND! I'm buying a mannequin. Her name is Alexis, and in the near future, she's going to have several iron rods, and some white sheets shoved through her body! Yeehaw!

I don't know, it's late, and I'm feeling guilty for ditching all the neato people I met on here...and I need to stop reading dirty stories, even if they are really well written (well, like 1/3 of them)

AND, for some reason, I've taken to southern-speak, and it hasn't effected my writing, so I don't know, this is my last chance at normal english (by normal, I mean really, blah I guess). So, lame. I've been super-ill for the last couple of days. Some horrendous stomach thing. It's kinda suckish not being able to eat. It's even more suckish yaking even when I haven't eaten anything. Oh well. Such is life.

And, being the lazy fuck that I often am, I have put myself in a position where I have an unholy amount of work to do in the next few days. Just shoot me. Maybe the slacker gods will shine down upon me and help me get all this shit done.

On the slightly more retarded side of things- a while back, after going on a five-day-long 24-a-thon, I promised myself that I wouldn't get involved in TV shows whose main character was named Jack. Or maybe it was that I wouldn't get involved in TV shows which were already more than a season in. Either way, I broke that promise last friday, and have since gone through one and a half seasons of fucking Lost in the last three days. I blame recockulous amounts of sweet hot ass.

On another stupid note, my roommate and I discovered that we have a rather attractive Australian man living not only in our building, but on our floor. Every time we hear movement in the hall, we rush to check the peep hole. We're creepy stalkers. I know.

Yeah, so realizing that no one really cares, sorry about the shway bad grammar.It's about 2:45 AM, and I'm trying to find something to do to distract me from the damn television. God help me, I'm useless.

Hey, I swear to god I'll put art up sometime in the next 10 years. I miss everybody, and...sorry I'm so bad at keeping up with things here. Just shwe busy with school. BUT, here's some cool shit!

I'M 20 YEARS OLD TODAY! HUZZAH! I AM NO LONGER A TEEN!

And, I was a model for a life casting today. Basically, I strip down, get oiled up head to toe, and then I was covered in plaster. They took the plaster off and had a sculpture of ME!! Yay! Now my naked ass can be seen the world over...or at least in this lady's studio. It was really neat. I didn't think it was nearly as bad as everyone said it would be. Kind of like a spa wrap...but you can't move.

My apartment is sweet, and so are my roommates. We have a grocery store in the basement and a gym not much farther....what else can I ask for?

What else? Classes are going really well. In Construction Techniques I'm making a scale that cuts your arms off if you weigh too much. It's a long story. My carving class is awesome. We got a new teacher because ours went MIA on us. I'm in a class called Media on Paper...and I'm working with watercolor for the first time in many years...and I actually like it. My other classes are all going really well. It's been a great beginning of the year.

OOH! I started at UPenn. I'm taking a Screenwriting class. It's fucking awesome. We just read the script for that new movie Eagle Eye. I feel so privileged.

Anyway, that's life in a nutshell. I'm going to go wash the olive oil off my skin and the crisco off of my face! Til next time ev'rybody!

Hey all! Som those of you that know me know that I'm not dead, just busier than I've ever known. So, I'm here to tell y'all the tale of the last seven months.

From January to May I was in school, so my inactivity during that period is pretty understandable I hope I was just busy. You know, except for a few weeks where I was in a really low depression and I flat out didn't want to speak to or see anyone, but that happens I guess. I made it out of both of my freshman semesters with all As and Bs which is kind of miraculous considering my spotty attendance during second semester, but hey.

Life drawing was a total bust. We only had about five or six weeks with an actual model. The others we spent drawing a chait T_T Wood cut was awesome, except that I stabbed myself in the hand pretty good with a gouge near the end of the semester. Anatomy was just flat out awesome. Everything else was alright. I took an extra class at night-it was stone carving, and it was awesome. That's kind of the short version of it all.

I'm getting an apartment with the three most amazing girls ever. Steph Devon and Liz are the best. We move in mid-August.

Now, for the suck-ass part of the story. I get home May 10th, spend a few days fighting with my dad, and the next Wednesday, my dad finds my uncle in very bad condition at his house. He goes into the hospital and undergoes surgery for a cerebral hemmorage. He makes it through, and maybe a week later goes into rehab. That lasts for maybe a little more than a week.

One day, my family gets called in to have a talk with his doctors. We get there, the doctors are chit-chatting with us, and when they get us all seated, they tell us that he died that morning. Needless to say, we all felt ambushed. If I could see that doctor again, I'd punch him in the face. I hadn't gotten to see him since he was in the hospital thanks to my wonderous job.

He died on a Tuesday, and we buried him that Friday. We had people over for four nights in a row, which is exactly what we didn't need, but so it goes.

My grandma was really close to him, and she really hasn't been right since it all happened. My brother my father or I stayed with her every night, and have just stopped recently.

When he died, he left behind an unfathomable amount of debt and several half-constructed properties that have since been sold, or are at least on their way.

I had to quit my job, and have since spent the summer doing construction, renovation and unbelieveably ridiculous cleaning work at my uncle's place. I've inhaled so much dirt it's probably running through my veins. And, I sprained my ankle at some point.

My grandma's been staying at his house. If she were in her right mind, she'd just keep her old house, but what can I say, she won't. Since we couldn't sell my uncle's house, we either had to sell my grandma's or our house. Basically, making payments on all three houses plus his other properties is just too much. Of course, we ended up selling our house. At least my parents can be closer to my grandma.

Thing is, this move wasn't supposed to happen until after my brother and I left for school. But, the day after the FOR SALE sign went up, there were a few showings, and a few more the next day, and by the third day, we got not one, but two full-price offers. And the people we have the contract in want in by August 9th.

Because of this, we've had to move a substantial amount of stuff out of my uncle's house to move my grandma's stuff in. We moved my grandma's stuff into his house, and we are now in the process of moving our house into my grandma's house. We're moving three houses in about three weeks. Oh, and we've also had to do some nice renovations on our house so that it looks nice. Here's the real kicker. I leave to go back to school four days after we move into my grandma's house, where I get to make my fourth move of the summer.

Needless to say, I can't wait to get back to school.

Oh, and on top of all that I got diagnosed as bipolar, and am on a lovely couple of new drugs. Yay pills! My situation's making it suck enough that it doesn't really seem all that much better than before.

Hey everybody, long time no see. T_T Above all else, I have to appologize to my friends back home. Sorry I'm so terrible with the phone and IMness and such. I really promise swear I haven't forgotten about you. I'm on now!!!! Come talk to me! ^_^........lo siento.

Yeah, so, I've been pretty busy with school. I made it through midterms without dying. Yeah, I've got to say, most of the teachers don't regularly give out letter grades here. I mean, for most of my classes, I think all I'm going to get is a grade at the end of the semester....and that's because they HAVE to give me one. It's pretty cool. It really just allows me to enjoy what I'm doing without freaking out about grades.

Of course, after midterms, I got nice and sick...I am nice and sick. I had a pretty nice fever going earlier on this week...but now I'm just coughing my face off and I have an insane headache.

Went to a Halloween party last night. I've never ever had my picture taken so many times. I was dressed as a zombie. I guess the makeup job worked. So many random people took pictures of me my friend started calling me Mickey Mouse (you know, as in Disneyworld) I'm not going to lie, the attention was kind of cool. Some crazy guy pulled me out onto the dance floor at some point during the night. X_X It was....awkward. Maybe a little funny now.

I don't know what else. I have a couple to paintings that I need to put up, but I've largely been keeping my work at school since I never know when my teachers are going to want to turn them in. BUT, I have been working. I even have a sculpture! I have to bring it home soon, so I'll take pics of it when I get it back here....somehow. Bigass plaster sculpture not so easy to transport without a car. X_X Yay bad english.

Don't know that there's much else. It's all pretty much routine stuff. Go to school, go home, talk to people, put off homework, sit outside, talk more, do homework WAY too late at night/early in the morning, and sleep. I know that makes it sound a lot less interesting than it really has been, and it CERTAINLY has been interesting and fun and such. Yeah.

Anyway, I'm totally exhausted/sick, and I am going to go take some cough medicine and sleep for a while. I still love you all I promise I swear, more than anything! I couldn't ever forget about you! And I'm not too busy to communicate with you I guess I'm just too clueless to realize how much time has passed since I last did so. X_X. Loves to all!

Hey all! As always, sorry it's been so long, but I suppose those of you who actually read these journals have come to expect that by now. Anyway, I've seen all but one of my classes so far, so it's been ridiculously exciting, yeah.

On Thursdays I have intaglio and still life drawing/paiting. I've had both of those classes twice now. I like intaglio. It's a print making class for anyone who doesn't know. We're starting out with monotypes and then going into drypoint and etching. We actually did our first monotype today, which was such fun. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped it would, but for my first attempt, I suppose it wasn't so bad. I'll try and get a picture of it tomorrow. Still life's alright, pretty straightforward stuff. Draw accurately, shade accurately....which I'm awful about so it's really good for me to be doing that sort of thing. *coughcoughmyteacher'sababetoo* Yeah, that little bit helps too. Some things never change.

On that same note, I have intro to sculpture and cast drawing tomorrow. My sculpture teacher has gorgeous arms. Holy crap, I want to marry them they're so perfect. See, no matter where I go, I will always have a thing for at least one of my teachers X_X Yeesh, so I'm doing some sculpture of an underwater foodchain. (He told us to come up with an idea for a sculpture about food. That's it. So mine is a shark eating a fish eating seaweed, which works because they're all food for the one before it, AND, people eat shark, fish and seaweed) In cast drawing I'm doing a (really really) really accurate pencil drawing of a cast of the Venus de Medici, minus the arms....because the academy's cast doesn't have any. I love my cast drawing teacher, she's very very critical. It's just what I need.

I spent the majority of the weekend waiting for the cable guy. *shakes fist at cable men everywhere* Why must you always take so long? Anywho, I now have TV on my computer, so I can't complain too much.

I haven't had my figure modeling class on Monday yet. Yay labor day! I spent it in China Town, which, btw, is just like every other China Town, but hell, it was still fun. Then I watched the Dirty Jobs marathon with a couple of friends. We had fun making grossed out noises at my computer screen.

Let's see, on Tuesdays I have uninstructed life painting (which I haven't had yet) and figure drawing and art history. So, figure drawing is going to be another really accuracy-centered class, which, like I said, is really great for me. BUT, holy crap, my teacher is probably 1000 years old, and he talks very slowly, very quietly, and he goes off on the most random tangents when he talks. AND, I swear, the way he moves and talks, I'm a little worried he's going to drop dead in class some day X_X I wish I was kidding. My art history teacher's a really cool guy though, kind of laid back and funny. Plus, it seems like he's more concerned with why and how artists did things than with dates and places and such. I think it's more useful as an artist anyway.

Tuesday night was fun. A couple of other guys from my building came over and my suitemate made falafels and stuffed grape leaves, and I made tzatsiki and we ate our faces off. It was a nice break from the penut butter and apple sandwiches I've been eating for the last 10 days. Anyway, they were neat to talk to because neither of them are even kind of doing the same thing that I am. I think one of them is doing a graduate program at Penn, something with artificial intelligence I think, and the other one is a sophomore at Drexel, but I'm not sure what he's doing. Yeah, just nice to be around different people.

So, lastly, I have life painting and perspective on Wednesday. I love love LOVE my life painting teacher. He's just really intelligent and personable, not to mention REALLY good at what he does. AND, I actually got to do quite a bit of figure work on the first day. Perspective was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Alright, so I was going to wait until I was here for a week to tell you guys how my new life in Philly's been, but hell, I've already got a lot to say, so why not, eh?

Well, the plane ride over was surprisingly easy. They didn't rifle through my eight boxes of stuff, so I wasn't worried about it. The little b&b my familia and i stayed at until I moved in was about as nice as it could have been. It had all of these kick ass Victorian antiques and whatnot all over the place. Sama would have loved it.

A few little things from before I moved in. I saw a car on fire, nothing really interesting, but it was kind of wild to see. I saw a little bit of the Swarthmore campus with my brother. Fuckall, it is one of the most gorgeous areas I've been in a LONG time. it's just surrounded by forest. Everything's green. Their amphitheater is in a forest area, and the stage and the seating is all grown over. Like I said, EVERYTHING is green. I'm going to have to take the train there some time or something. I'm so in love with it. It would be SUCH a nice place to go and draw some time. What else...my new computer is probably my version of God. I am a member of the Mac religion. I love it, best computer in the universe.

Moving in sucked hard ass because this time of the year here, it's REALLY humid, and it's totally bearable if it's not really hot. In fact, I really love it. (My skin's so happy right now) ANYWAY, the day that I moved in, it was hot. I had to haul eight 30-50 pound boxes and A LOT of groceries up to the 12th out of 13 floors. Okay, so there is an elevator, BUT it only lets off at the 11th floor, and I (and by I, I mean my dad, parents and I) had to shove a dolly up the stairs to the 12th floor. And that night, I didn't stop until all my shit was put away. My room is perfect. It gets messy fast, but everything's where it ought to be. So, huzzah!

I love having my own room, but I've got to say, half of the reason I chose the housing place that I did was so I could be around a lot of other people. I know it's only a few days in, but only a couple of the other girls talk a lot. My next door neighbor Stepheine is a blast. I have a story involving her later. Good times. So, I'm trying to be really social, and I'm making a lot of friends really fast. It's great.

I've been going through orientation the last two days. A: I'm fucking exhausted. B: Any of you people out there who really appreciate the fine arts, would just die of happiness here. It's just so far beyond amazing. They have a great museum. They have a vault with all these original paintings and sketchbooks and drawings by everyone from really well known people like Thomas Eakins (HOLY SHIT WE HAVE THE GROSS CLINIC, THE FECKING ORIGINAL, IN THE MUSEUM HERE ) to these totally unknown, but nonetheless amazing artists. AND, as a student, I can go down to the vault and look at them, study them and whatnot. i've basically been having a two day artgasm. Oh, by the way, if you didn't all see this coming, a couple of the teachers, PARTICULARLY this one sculpture teacher, are hot hoT hOT HOT!!!! Anyway...

SO, there's a lot to do here at night after class/orientation. I've been walking around a lot, there's a lot within just a few blocks of my building. There's a theater, but tickets are about 11 to 14 bucks, so....can't do that so often, but there's a lot of neat little restaurants and shops and the like. The Penn bookstore, which is only a few blocks away, is really nice too. I could hang out there. Hell, the outside kind of entrance area of my building is an AMAZING place to just kind of hang around. It's covered in trees and there's benches everywhere. OH OH OH! I've got these two GORGEOUS churches literally right across the street. I get a great view of them from my window upstairs. I'm in love with the area already.

Just kidding. It's until I go to school. Really though, that's so strange. I'm going to be soooo far away and I'm not going to know anyone. It's kind of nice in a way, I won't be hanging onto someone I know, I can really get to meet new people.

The only thing that makes me really sad is my dogs. I'm not going to be able to talk to them or anything for four months. I get all depressed and I start crying whenever I think about it

Anyway, the stress and everything has really prevented me from drawing. Sorry. Obviously, I'm going to be crapping out a lot of art when school starts, it IS art school after all.

For all of you who know me, I can't believe I just mentioned poo without hurling. NO FECAL STICKS DAMMIT!!!

Anyway, I have an extreme hatred for poo, I don't know why, it's just really really gross. More than pee, vomit, snot and pus (well, maybe not pus) combined. That was nasty, sorry.

Oh man, little things aside, life's so wonderful!

I know, what's that about? Where's the angst? Oh jeez, just lacking in angst right now, except for one small thing (I know, try not to groan too loud)

So, some of my friends (not the really close ones, mind you) tell me I should probably take off my gay goggles and find a nice het ship to obsess over. So, I do. And I search and I search and I search, and I think I find something, and then...no, it's just a couple of icons. Such is life. So, I go back to my usual reading material and leave the boygirlsex in my head.

I swear, if I mead nearly as much real literature as I did internet smut I'd probably be a lot smarter X_X

Other than that, life's amazing and peachy. My room's about 10 degrees below 0, and that's definitely a good thing. Three cheers for live-in freezers.

You and I used to be bffs, kind of like me and pincones/pineapples/all things coconut. I've got to say, you failed me more than a broken condom today.

That doctor's appointment- what was THAT about!? I know it's "the appointment nobody wants to go to", but that was just irritating. I'll give you this, because of that appointment, I don't have to bleed to death ever again, and my metabolism won't be like that of an old woman. (Yay pills, eh?) Nonetheless, all the lecturing and the pokery, not cool Ft13!

And the yard on Dexter! I can forgive you for the doc, but I'm not so sure about the yard. Have you ever tried mowing over 6 foot tall weeds, rocks, and a wide variety of construction debris with a 10 year old lawn mower? No? Yeah, didn't think so. Let me just tell you right now, it's a feisty bitch. You know what else, I get to go back and do it again tomorrow! Why? Well, it might be because we broke the lawnmower doing this, maybe, just maybe. Also, for all this, we only got about one third (maybe) of the work done. Oh, and FYI, I get to finish cutting down the weeds with a machete. As much as I love machetes, can you say tedious? (and middle of summer!) By the way, that ridiculous splinter, you know, the one I had to stab out of my finger, hurts like hell. Thanks a truck load.

Needless to say Ft13, our relationship is a bit rocky right now. Maybe if you make the season 2 premier of Psych really awesome I can take my new pills, chill out and forget about the hell you put me through.
I would really hate to see our friendship crash and burn.

Well, I'll admit it. I'm having a total art block, at least compositionally. So, I have an illustration of a zombie attack that I'm working on. It going to be two kids hiding behind (well, really, in front of) their couch. A zombie's coming through their front door (to the right of the couch- your right) and the two kids are getting ready to attack. The couch/kids are on the left side of the canvas (your left)

SO, what I think I want to do is really focus on the kids. They're kind of low to the ground, so I think I'm going to have it at a kind of bugs eye view, and I want the perspective to be single point starting (biggest) in the lower left hand corner (where kids are) and receding back into about 1/4 down the top of the right hand side.

Well, there was a cute little diagram...but it doesn't work T_T, so fine

However, I'm not sure it's dramatic enough. I'm looking for a kind of fear/preparing to kill zombies kind of effect. Not sure if that made sense, but if anyone has any kind of advice, I'd really appreciate it.

I've been piddlefucking around with my stupid Sloth illustration and this zombie attack illustration, both of which are really nowhere near done. T_T I've been sleeping way too much. (or, more accurately, way too little and then laying in bed contemplating life until someone gets me up) But, not so bad really. I just, I don't know, can't keep my mind off of leaving and it's distracting.

Here's a lame fact. In less than two weeks time, I've seen Die Hard three times and Transformers twice X_X. So much time in a dark theater. Not good for my brain. However, I love explosions more than life, so not all bad. I am, however, going to punch whoever wrote the intro to the Transformers movie. I mean, really? Is that REALLY the best they could do? Whatever. Who cares, right?

I may or may not have to move out of my room before I move out of the house because my brother wants my room. Words can not describe how little I want to do that, but such is life.

Well, hello all. I know it’s been a very long while, and for that I really do apologize. I can’t say that I’ve been too busy to at least leave comments or write a journal. In reality, I’ve spent the majority of the last month on a couch in front of the TV watching shows I would never admit to watching. So, anyway. I think the best explanation I can give for my absence is that I’ve just had so much going through my head it’s just kind of overwhelming. Some of it’s good. I’m thrilled to be going off to school in a couple of months. However, a lot of it ventures into sadder darker places that I thought I was flat out done with last winter. I seem to be dealing with it much better this time around though, so, I don’t know that I’m worried. Anyway, that’s not really important at all, but whatever, that’s what I’ve got.

I’ve been drawing very little. I’ve lost interest in the 100 pictures thing. Well, I shouldn’t really say that. I’m just slowing down on it significantly. I have other ideas that are clawing at my skull trying to get out, so yes. Ouy ve. Like I said, just kind of mentally overwhelmed. I think it’s having an adverse effect on my drawing. Just can’t get anything right. Psht, if I really think about that, it’s just a crappy excuse. I bet if I really started drawing a lot I would be focused and start feeling better.

So, yes. I have surprisingly little to say. I’m sorry. But hey, it’s kinda nice to talk to someone else. Even if no one’s listening, I don’t know. I guess that’s it. I’ll hopefully be on here some more, and hopefully with some work. Until then, farewell all!

So, it's been a good weekend. That art museum that I went to was really cool. There was this fashion display of sorts. The guy at the museum put it at "a woman cleaning out her closet and selling the findings to a museum" and, that's pretty much what it was, but better presented than that sounds. The woman's name is Iris Apfel. That woman collected some stupid sweet clothing. There was this charm belt/necklace thing there that I'm going to try and make (sort of) for myself. I've already got the base white plastic chain. If anyone wants to send me small plastic toys that I can attach to a keychain, feel free

Uh...I went shopping. I went to this craft store and got $200 worth of papers. It's like Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but with more decorative papers. Ouy ve, that was probably a huge waste of money anyway I say it's worth it. I bought a bag and a book from Urban Outfitters, and my white chain from Forever 21...no serioiusly, I AM going to the dark side, more accurately, the brightly colored side, but hey, it has its perks, ie neon jewelry. I love nothing more than neon colors.

Uh, I saw a movie, Next, if anyone was interested. Whatever, it was kind of blah. I've been living off salads and fruit. Mmmm...and mint water. Nothing better than good mint water. I've been sleeping (gasp!) and swimming, and charring my skin in the sun. It's great.

HOWEVER, I'm ready to come home and finish off these last three weeks. I just want to be done. To be honest, I'm not really worried about any of it. I've got good solid grades in all of my classes, and my finals should be pretty easy. Some of them are art finals and those are just jokes. I don't really care about my AP grades because my college doesn't care and it doesn't effect anything, and really, I wouldn't even take them if I wasn't personally interested in what I could do on them. Whatever. I think I just contradicted myself somewhere in there.

Yeah, I'm set. The only thing I really need now is a summer job! MONIES!!!! Haha, I can't be broke when I head off to school. Well, not buying meat is going to give me more money for art supplies XD!!! And...water is cheap. I say I'm not going to drink any more pop, but that always backfires, we'll see. Who cares really.

Hey, if anyone from around here has any summer job ideas, I'm so open. I need one, open to suggestions. I'm really hoping to get a job at this art supply store I just applied to, but I haven't gotten a call back yet. T_T

OH! This is the least important thing in my life right now, but HOLY CRAP! I'm totally obsessed with tiny vinyl toys right now, especially all the cute ones that look like 3D chibis. ESPECIALLY the Tokidoki Moofia toys. I'm going to go home and buy them all. Talk about a waste of money. But...they're so fecking cute! Especially the soy one. I love nothing more than good soy milk. I just...love the taste, and that's what I think about every time I see that toy. Okay...I'm going crazy now...so I'll silence myself.

Well, I'm in FLA, as I said I would be. It's beyond nice. I'm relaxing, I sat out back by my uncle's pool and cooked my skin this morning (WTH is wrong with me!?! I don't tan! I burn) But, in my defense, the weather is just perfect, and I just got to lie back and listen to music, drink my mint water and contemplate life...more accurately how much happier I probaby am than my classmates who are currently freezing in the school's sub-zero air conditioned classrooms. Sorry guys, but not a whole lot. CURRENTLY, I'm chilling in a law office. My uncles run it. I get to use the compy! Huzzah! I'm going to go to an art museum around here and then I'm going to the mall a little later...maybe to find a new laptop for school. YAY!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little sad about missing prom, but I wouldn't be allowed to take the one person that I would want to take. I could have gone with friends, but it's not the same. I would have loved to have some really nice romantic thing, but NOOO! I can't take someone significantly older. BOO! Furthermore, I don't really have a dress, and I'm saving money for school, so I don't really have the cash to buy one. Who really needs to know all this? No one? Yeah, that's what I thought.

So, is it really lame to stop eating meat just because it's mildly repulsing? Is that a word? See, I have absolutely no moral issues with consuming animal flesh, I just don't like how it feels when I eat it, and I'm not really a fan of the taste. I don't know. I know it's stupid and it's healthier if I do eat it, but it's just kind of eww right now. Maybe all the hippie foods I'm eating are getting to my brain. HOLY CRAP I'M TURNING INTO A TREE HUGGER!! XD! Nah, but really, I do feel kind of different, I love being outside, I'm really aware of everything that I eat, I'm happy, I'm working out a lot. Who knows, maybe I'm just figuring things out, in a good way.

Alright, any more of that talk and I'll have to go buy some tie dye shirts and birkenstocks. XD! Anyway, don't worry, I'm still a perv who loves death. That'll (probably) never change.

I swear, everytime I say I'm going to have more time to be on here, I end up...not. I'm cursed. That's all there is to it. Not really, I'm just lazy or something. I wouldn't really call it that either....okay. maybe a little, but I've been doing some things.

Lit mag's kind of going on. We've gotten hardcore screwed the last two days with the weather. I can't believe they closed schools today, and with the Juniors taking the ACT too. I mean, it doesn't effect me, but it got rescheduled during AP tests, and that totally sucks for my brother. Whatever.

Long story short, I'm not doing anything of any importance in any of my classes right now. Maybe my teachers have just accepted the fact that all the Seniors are already gone and have just given up. Maybe all my teachers are just lazy. I don't know. I don't care. It's given me a lot of free time that seems to be spent doing something, but I can't seem to remember what. I've been running errands with my dad a lot lately. o_O I've seen some movies. I keep trying to push my padre to go with me...cuz I can't go to movies alone, but NOOO! We've seen fricking EVERYTHING else, mand most of it sucked something aweful. Boo. Such is life I guess.

I'm major into action, suspense, and (yeah yeah, I know) westerns (seriously, gimme a break, I mean more like modern westerns.) Of course, I'm still a horror freak, but the action movies in particular are hitting my happy button. That's really useless info, but whatever.

So, weird thing. I find that my least favorite classes these days are my art classes. I know why, but it's werid anyway. My commercial art class is boring because it's ridiculously boring and I don't have any friends in it. AP is boring because I don't have anything to do anymore....and Cush bugs to holy fecking nyur out of me when I'm in there! AH! I swear he secretly hates me for doing something that I don't know about. AND, sculpture sucks because it is comprised of all the school's worst students- the stupid ones, the angry ones, the downright scary ones, the annoying ones, the dangerous ones. They must have all gotten together over Xmas break and decided to take sculpture. I REALLY FUCKING HATE THAT CLASS!!!! Furthermore, the assignments are all just STUPID!!!

Other classes however, good times. I get to write a screenplay/storyboards for my story "Alice" in Creative Writing. My history teacher is still a babe, my AP Lit class is still taught by the coolest guy ever, and Psych is just good times...anything taught by an awesome old crazy lady who gives me presents is good. OOH! My Psych class went to a mental institution last Thursady. It was interesting, a little sad maybe, but better that they're taken care of than out on the streets. Oh, and before it comes up, no, they didn't keep me.

Probably the biggest news, I'm going to be in Florida until Monday, so I won't be on here until then.

I have so many ideas for drawings. Some of them are original ideas, some of them aren't. I'm considering starting the 100 pic challenge thing, just cuz it'll force me to do a lot of work before I take off for school. Yeah, that's it.

I don't think I have anything else to whine or squee about. I have to get up as 4:00 tomorrow T_T so I should really go to bed.

okay, so, if you actually know me, you're probably wondering why I've been all reclusive, so here you go. My grandma died last thursday, and the thing is, I just haven't felt like talking to anyone outside of my family. I don't really know why, I guess I just don't know how to explain everything to those who don't otherwise know what's been going on in my life, but you deserve to know. It's just been really weird because I've felt very little sadness about the whole thing. I didn't even cry at the service yesterday, not even before that. I guess it's just because I knew she was going to die a couple weeks ago, and all the sadness came then, and I was just waiting for it to happen. So, it just feels strange to have all of these people saying "I'm so sorry" when I'm not even that sad anymore. Anyway, yeah.

Uh, as far as art goes, I finished my concentration and I'll get the other pieces in soon. I was busy with funeral things, so I'm really sorry, but I didn't get to much else, but I'll try to soon.

Only seven weeks left at this school That's weird. It's even weirder to think that come August, I'm not going to be around here anymore. I'm excited for it though. I dunno.

So that's it. More than anything I just wanted to let my close friends know why I've been gone.

Well, a lot has happened since last year really, so I'll try to sum it up.

I got accepted into all of the colleges: Ringling, Pratt, RISD, MICA and Pennsylvania. And, I've made my final decision, I'm going to go to the Pennsylvania Academy of the the Fine Arts. If you're like most people I know, you're wondering "why the hell isn't she going to RISD!?!" well...I would love to, but in their grad program. The undergrad work at PAFA was much more impressive, I LOOOOVE their curriculum (and the city) and I can come out of there with super amazing basic art skills and THEN go into illustration. Plus...David Lynch went there, and I love him lots XD, no, that's not why I'm going.

Uh...I'm cranking out AP artwork like frickin crazy. It's so good for me. It's making my drawing so much better, and I'm full of ideas (don't have time to get them out though T_T)

I'm currently in two English classes (creative writng and AP Lit) and I have to write a lot for both. I can tell that the quality of the work is improving in both, and I know that it's helping to write so much. It's true, practice does make better (no...not perfect)
I'm particularly fond of my AP Lit class. Loving the three books I'm reading (All Quiet On The Western Front, Dr. Zhivago and For Whom the Bell Tolls) and the poetry. (W.H. Auden and T.S. Elliot rock my socks) My teacher's great too, he actually expects quality work from his students (gasp!) and he really knows what he's teaching. So, yay!

I love my modern euro class. I'm not sure why, but I'm really enjoying lectures, and just general learning. Who knows, maybe I'll miss this place afterall. (alright, my teacher's a babe, but I do like the subject.) And my Psych class is fun, albeit really pointless. I've learned VERY little, mostly cuz my teacher's crazy, no really, literally crazy.

Well, my commercial art and sculpture classes are alright. My commercial art teacher is as dull as could be, but that's okay, I'm getting a good enough grade.

School, overall, loving it, but I'm ready to leave. I leave sometime in August, and the only things I'm really going to miss are my family and friends. Especially my gf, who I barely get to see as is. But, life must go on, and this is really truly what I want.

Don't know what else. I'm a pretty happy individual these days. I keep forgetting to eat I'm getting better about it though.

mah, so shit's not been good, and i'm guessing that's why i've been so disconnected from everyone and from here. i'm really sorry as usual. i guess you all should expect these things by now, but i'm still sorry. i've forgotten so many things i don't even know.

i'm so constantly exhausted it's impossible to do anything. i really do need massive amounts of caffeine or something to even get me to some sort of awakeness. even then, i'm not all there.

i find myself not caring any more. it's everything. all the things i know i should enjoy or hate, it just doesn't matter. i haven't felt angry or passionate in so long, i don't know.

and i can tell it's effecting things. they're such important things. i mean i couldn't even find it in me to be intimate with someone i love during the best time for it. i just passed out.

and i've just felt sick in general. i'm always dizzy and nauseous, but maybe i'm just getting sick.

i can't eat anymore without feeling ill. i usually end up puking it up. i find all kinds of excuses to not eat. i have to lie all the time when people ask if i'm hungry and i'll choke something down if i have to, but yeah, it never stays down. but i don't know, i've lost a lot of weight in the last month, so I guess I can't complain too much.

and of course i'm keeping up all the bad habits. i tell myself every day that it has to stop, but i just can't seem to throw away my box of things.

last night was maybe the worst though. i took a few too many dizzy/drowsy mystery pills and chilled out. part of me was kind of hoping it would finish the job. i wrote a note in case it did, but obviously it didn't. i think i'm happy it didn't. i'm not gonna try it again. it just made the already bad dizzyness worse. i could barely stand without falling over.

so, I'm definitely in public speaking right now. It's good times, but whatever. I'm sitting next to Karl, and whatev, it's werid, cuz really, i dunno, it's weird. For some reason I felt the need to tell him my life story yesterday. It was anattempt to figure out why I'm depressed. It turned into a rather comical conversation about why I like boys girls etc, why i like older people, and why I lost my v-card at such a young age. He came to the conclusion that I want to be a porn star and draw comics about "big man" shpoinking "little girl" More specifically:

little girl is chilling, big man (who happens to look like a human penis) comes up to little girl and gropes her. Little girl then does a stripper dance for big man while he sits in a dark corner. Big man then decapitates little girl and fecks her open gushing neck hole...and that's it. the end.

Nice story, eh? It's not technically mine, it's Karl's, but that's what he thinks I'm going to write. So, today was not the best day, not the best week I guess. I did some shit I shouldn't have and some shit I thought I was over.

I decided to not go to Spanish today. I don't do that...EVER. I don't know why I did either. It was a bad day to not go, in fact. I had all my homework done, but some parts of the time off were nice. I walked around with little goth kids and tried to ridicule religion in song...but no one did I good job, so I talked to Kaelin instead. Whatev.

I also took about an hour and a half off my life. Don't ask. I was done with that in like...middle school. Guess not though. It's over, no more, just a long overdue slip.

Got depressed and went emo on myself with the butterfly knife. I know better than that, but oh well. I never do that anymore unless it's for fun or the taste of my own blood. Oh well.

Hmm...on the upside I'm legal a week from Friday, and I'm getting some of my presents this weekend. Hopefully some good money for NDK.

So...I'm a jackass. I'm usually a lot smarter than this. I take that back, I'm not. Well anyway.

On tuesday night, after I'm totally exhausted and had already started feeling shitty, I go out, get totally trashed, and stay up ALL night. oops.

I go into school the next day looking like I'd just been run over by a train or two. Everyone knew. My english teacher came up to me and asked if I was hung over with his knowing little smile.

I know I'm kinda sick that day, but it's not that bad and I'm just hoping it'll pass. Not this time. I woke up feeling shittier than ever and decided to stay home. I missed a BUNCH of stuff today, but I'll get over it. I even have to mis work...which I hate. T_T

See, I'd say it wasn't worth it, but it kinda was, I'm not going to lie. Well anyway, the moral of the story is, have fun...just expect to pay for it later...but you all know that, right?

Well holy shit...it's been forever. such lameness. I've gone through two or three big internet problems which has been such a gaping bitch, but you know, shit happens. my scanner died...AGAIN....which has halted any putting of art onto DA. RAGE! nyah...the college fun never ends. I'm just trying to get everything filled out and accounted for by the time I go back to school, which, btw, is a MAJOR pain in the ass. It's impossible to reach some people for letters of reccomendation. Luckily, one person has already written theirs... for Jim...like he'd ever even get on a computer.

Whatev tho. I still think the statements of purpose/essays and the jolly home assignments are the worst. Here's some of the assignments.

Let’s see. So, I guess no one really cares cuz I’ve pretty much been a ghost on DA, but ouy...I’m just still so busy. It’s making me (and the muses of course) just really sad and uninspired. It’s not that I’m lacking ideas, it’s just that I’m lacking the time to put them on paper, so they’re sitting in my brain rotting and eventually fading away. I have commissions and requests to finish and they’re piling up, and I’M SO SO SO SORRRY!!! I do care about you very much, but unfortunately, illustration and art-making isn’t my full-time job yet, so sadly other things have to come before it T_T. Psht, if I were serious, I think I’d probably just get less sleep and get some shit done.

Hey kids. I know it seems like I've dropped off the face of the earth, and I dunno, maybe I have just a little bit.

I have A LOT of ideas for art, and obviously, I have other things I still need to finish. But, uh, I'm being kept on a very school-like schedual, but without the academicness. If I'm not filling out school applications I'm job searching or running errands or working on a big project that WOULD be a lot of fun if I could just do it alone.

I really miss having Alex around, he's off working construction, and when he is home he wants to be with his friends, and he's tired. I get it, but I miss him, but I guess it's been that way for some time.

Maybe I'm just anxious to take off for Florida. I know I am. I really desparately need to get out of my house.

My girlfriend's having a really bad time right now. It kills me to see her like that. I think it would be one thing if her family tried to help her through it, but it just seems like they're making it worse right now. I don't know, but I really just want to be with her. I swear, all the studying's getting to me, serially. So, I decided that I should take a break from my studying and read something dirty for entertainment. So, is it just me, or is the word "balls" just not meant to be used in a serious story, cuz I don't think so. This word is hilarious no matter how old you are or how mature you think you are. C'mon people think about it....balls.... Okay, I'm laughing...you're prolly not, but I think it's funny! Well, that tured the whole dirty story into a comic story...especially since one of the characters refered to the other one as "Pretty" and I dunno hearing those words out of that person's mouth...just a little funny.

THEN...i went to dinner. So, all was well, but then our waiter comes, and this guy fucking looks like one of the characters from the balls story. I couldn't stop laughing after he said "how may I be of service?" Then everything else was just laugh-worthy. My grandma's steak came out, and it was basically really pink, so they took it back and about 30 seconds later it came back. Seriously, it either got flame-throwered, or sent to Hell...which we decided was located in the kitchen.
