I have 5 main New Years Resolutions xD But I'll keep them to myself for now.

I am the boy tied to a fence, beaten to a bloody pulp and left to die because two straight men wanted to "teach me a lesson."

This is the boy, Matthew Shepard. On October 7, 1998 Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson lead him to a remote area east of Laramie where they demonstrated unimaginable acts of brutality. Matthew was tied to a split-rail fence where he was beaten and left to die in the cold of the night. Almost 18 hours later he was found by a cyclist who initially mistook him for a scarecrow. Matthew died on October 12 at 12:53 am at a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. MURDERED BECAUSE HE WAS GAY!!

I am the best friend to one who has had her heart broken too many times, and the friend who has to watch the repression continue and is powerless to stop it.

This girl is sick of it.

Okayy... This journal will mainly consist of a weird rant that doesn't really make sense xD

Recently, I've felt kinda weird. And irritable. I think since the start of this year, maybe. Possibly even earlier. I'm not sure what I should call it. I suppose I've been kind of moody. One moment I'm laughing and happy then the next I get really annoyed at someone for no reason at all. It's really stupid. I don't get annoyed at everyone, but there are some people that really get on my nerves nowadays. I know it's not good, but I actually go out of my way to avoid them. Yes, I know that's awful of me xD No disapproving stares please.

The other thing is that I guess I feel like I'm being left behind. Everyone is experiencing and finding out new things while I'm not really getting anywhere. It's like everyone is having these experiences that you're "meant" to have in high school. I dunno. It's a really weird and stupid way of thinking. Really immature.

I'm not very happy with my personality right now. There are a million and one things I'd like to change. The most obvious ones are things like procrastination habits, digging holes for myself and generally being a bit of a bitch. Yup =] I know I am sometimes (or a lot of the times). Then there are other things that I will probably never tell anyone. Ever. The worst ones are really pretty bad.

I'm kind of sick of sitting at home and not doing anything. I swear I can count my number of close/good friends on one hand. Although that is my fault, so I shouldn't rant about it LOL. Um. Yeah, I promised myself I'd be more outgoing this year and less of a wimp so I've joined some extra-curricular activities. I really do need to stop being such a wimp. Whenever I meet new people I have a tendency to shut up and generally give them the idea that I "want them out of my face" or else I put on this fake front of air-headedness and confidence in stupidity.

I'm losing my aims and stuff. I used to be determined to become an author and would write whenever I got the chance. But now I'm slowly becoming one of those people who expect to become successful without any work on their behalf; a character trait that, ironically, I've always disliked in other people.

At any rate xD Sorry for anyone who had to read this. That was a long rant, probably stemming from my boredness right now.

Goal for this year: Be more outgoing/active, talk to people, try and meet some new people without going "bitchy" on them and STOP PROCRASTINATING. =]

I'm sorry, anyone who read this! *Begs forgiveness* xD
