Halloween's coming up, going steampunk as per usual but not sure which SP outfit to wear yet. In case you didn't know I'm going to Ohio University which has one of the biggest halloween block parties out there, so it's a bigger holiday here than most places.

This bit of cali is rather cold and rainy at the moment which isn't much different than the weather at home. Went to the San Francisco Dickens Fair which was a lot of fun, got to meet a bunch of other steampunks including the crew of the HMS Chronabelle. Very glad I got to go, but less so that I had to leave so early as my grandfather was not feeling well (my grandparents were performing there with their troupe of morris dancers).

I think he was amused that a couple of teenagers (my brother and I) would even come into his tiny hole-in-the-wall cluttered watch repair shop. He not only gave me a handful of old gears, but he gave us a whole clock to take apart!
But the best part is that he told me how to get the pins out of the cogs, which exponentially increased my number of workable parts, which means you can expect a lot more steampunk jewelry (etc.) from me soon!
