i just published the collection of poetry.

it is a little bit more expensive than i would have liked it to be. this is because blurb makes a 40 page soft cover for about 12 dollars, but i had more poems than that.

it is around 15 dollars, (this is WITHOUT me keeping any of the markup. so i'm not even making money off of it!)

1. SoothingAngel : This girl is simply incredible. Not only is she a good poet, but she's also always there to talk to me. We finish each other's sentences and are constantly looking for a word for some inexplicable phenomenon. please, please check out her gallery if you haven't already. if you don't like her work than you probably don't deserve to live. :]

2. Otterhare : Another AMAZING poet (and visual artist, yes!) Her poems are full of delicious details and evoke every possible feeling imaginable... Her drawings remind me of Devendra Banhart's, in a way. She's spookily original.

3. Ariesstars41492 : My best friend, and an extremely talented photographer... She can make pretty much anything into a picture. She has a really good eye for composition and those "perfect moments"... her black and white pictures are my favorites.

4. Desiredlove : Danielle has a wonderful gallery of photographs as well as vectors and photomanipulations. She is bursting with creativity and one of my first friends. She has a real eye for color and is really modest, too. jeez.

5. Schellibie : Shelby has a really unique painting/drawing style. She's pretty much obsessed with avatar.. her work is REALLY cute and always improving.... She finds random inspiration and uses it well.

6. Rawrreepicheep : A really sweet girl with some nice photographs and poetry that is surprising, satisfying and easy to relate to.

7. Elizabethpicardi : the beginning of a brilliant gallery.

POETRY

Give me a theme, subject, a word, a meaning, or an image to work with, and I'll construct a poem for you. Keep in mind, this is Jillian poetry. So it'll probably be freeverse.


DRAWINGS

Want a wacom doodle? Ask me to draw you something. No fan art, please, unless it's your original character. I can draw people, animals...fantasy, whatever. Let's keep it rated PG 13?

PHOTOGRAPHY

This will probably take longer than the others. It's the same basic idea, only with my added interpretation. Give me a subject or idea, or a quote to "photograph", and I'll take a picture that I feel represents it. [Obviously I can't photograph whatever you want me to.]


Keep this in mind; If you've seen something in my gallery that you really like, maybe ask me to do another in the 'series', or elaborate on it. For instance, if you like a certain photograph, ask me to do one similar to it, but maybe add something of your choice. Or a second part to a poem.


Please allow time for these requests.
