Also: flowchart kens are hilarious too. Just pondering what possibly is going on in their minds when they do fierce dragon punches from miles away and persist in doing so no matter how much one punishes them for it O.o

My cheating on Chun Li is now complete with Cammy having fully usurped the position of 2nd main(though some matchups I play infinitely better with her, looking at you Red Cyclone)

Playing tag with: Akuma, Seth or El Fuerte frustrates me immensely, I know it's ingrained in their play style, but still, they tend to be the most boring matches I face, barring a certain Abel I've seen who just sits in a corner spamming the ultra input holding on the 3xP till I get close. I have some more peeves, but these ones really get me for some reason. Laggy internet beats all of them for annoyance reward.

Concerning art: Got my hands on an anatomy book for artists recently, puts me right back in biology class, only then with less organs to cut. Having fun practicing that(I'll be able to draw hands and feet some day!) as well as some animation techniques I picked up from a different book. I have some animation sequences I desire to make, but can't see myself having time soon to get them done. I have a blinking eye that I did in Elements, but I feel I'll need a different animating program eventually, unless I figure out a better way of doing it. Hopefully I'll find some free time to get a few seconds animated of one of them, no promises sadly.

Having missed out on 3, mainly due to no Chun Li and by the time she was added in 3rd Strike I didn't really seem to care for some reason, but SF4 has changed that all around. Yet annoyingly enough, CHun Li is no longer by best character. I still greatly enjoy playing with her, but the Grumpy Old men Gouken and Gen have both stolen my attention away. Even more annoying, one of the main reasons of that is her charge Ultra which I am simply to much fail to pulloff at a proper time.sure I can do it repeatedly in training or whenever they block, but never at a crucial time. As oppossed to Gouken, man unlocking him was a borefest, but I couldn't be happier I did so . It's interesting playing the one shoto character who doesn't have a normal dragon punch, but his upwards fireballs and counters make it well up for me.

And well I could just blather on, but simply put, SF4 has me totally back in to streetfighter. Now I need to go put some Ice on my thumb, please excuse me.

Edit: Just lost my first controller to misplaced anger, blaming the controller instead of my sore thumb that failed to perform the move or lag that screwed up a perfect timing...... I've been suffering a lot more e-rage these days than I used to, bad internet and malfunctioning PC hardware has had an incredible result in making me feel like Bruce Banner.

Edit Again: Hmmm apparently one can use a PS3 controller on the PC, it's been good to have an alternative. I have however been reminded that Sony has no idea how to make a proper D-Pad. It has literally become physically impossible for me to make proper quarter circles left on the thing. I'm gonna go shopping for a new controller.

It wasn't as bad as I'd heard I'll give it that much, but I never though I could be so bored in a Movie about big robots kicking ass all over the place.

I'll just go watch Arnold toss around Christian Bale some more or maybe enjoy people trying to figure out what the hell they just did the night before in Vegas.

At the very least the crowd I watched it with seemed to be enjoying themselves, but oh well.

1. What does your deviantart name mean and why did you join this site?
There is a story I'm working that has been in somewhat constant evolution since high school, waiting for the day I finally feel comfortable enough in my drawing and comic page making abilities to start to tell it, in the meantime it pervades my thoughts, I've forgotten how many times I started at the beginning over and over running through it remaining a lot the same but with tweaks and sometimes massive tweaks. The point of all this is that one of the 2 main characters, a brother and sister, well I've never been truly satisfied with the names I come up for them. From fanciful to regular to downright odd Kaygarin was the one the Brother wore at the time I created my devart account(my avatar was a pic of him as well back then) and Kayla the sisters. The name came from me realy liking the name Kayla for her and I wanted his name to start the same for story related reasons. For fun the other names he's had(that I remember): Drachiro, Rakki(based on Rachi from the previous name), Kaygarin, Kay and currently Soujirou, based on Seta Soujirou from Rurouni Kenshin, as he inspired the nickname Souchan which is how I am generally known internet forums and games wise. His sis is Sakura, though I have issues with how common this rare name is in manga, I still really do like it. Chances are their names might change again eventually, oh well



2. What fandom were you obsessed with when you joined and what are you into now?
Dragonball, Chrono trigger, a lot of Akira Toriyama art style actually. These days funnily enough, Dragonball Kai has me back into it XD I also enjoy FMA: Brotherhood a lot but am really big into my Warhammer 40000 stuff.

3. How many watchers do you have now?
7 but I have no one to blame but myself, need to get a drawing.

4. Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA.
ironshrinemaiden ,kyla79, Krudman (though that's not entirely fair, as he got my attention through his webcomic^^)

Yes yes and yes, depending on the piece.

Objects, worn clothing, Hands feet, backgrounds, perspective.

Winter, snuggling up is awesome.

Rain, me and the Sun had an altercation ages ago and we haven't spoken since. (Though I still love rain for rain though, not just because of my tiff with Sun)

Hmmmmmmm, popular I guess, hard question, to many genres that has stuff I enjoy.

PC, gotta have me mah games.

Big manga fan, I do enjoy me some Anime when they are original properties, like Samurai Champuru or Cowboy Bebop. Many Manga to Anime translations feel a bit lazy. FMA: Brotherhood is one of the ways to do it right though

Coke, though I kicked my coke addiction after I switched to zero which somehow made me hate the taste of regular coke and eventually I stopped drinking zero too.

TV, but that will quickly get switched to either games or DVD.

Not very long, unless I suddenly have something I want to look for.

Pointed out to me when my cousin linked it to me.

I saw the black screen with squeenix logo and was like, huh maybe a new final fantasy thing she wanted to show me.

Then the clock tics came.

I'd like to emphasize this point.

A squeenix site. Black Screen. With clock ticks. Then the nice flash image appeared. It's nice, but the clock ticks. Well they just kill it. Nothing is relevant after those ticks begin. WW3 could break out seriously and I'd only be annoyed cause it would mean this would probably get delayed.

I am in fact still listening to the ticks. Seriously. They haven't even gotten annoying yet.

And they never will. This is my crack. My DS is going to be glued to my person for the next ever. I am never going to get any serious work done on the train as well, the DS is going to be in my hands.

The title in fact is not about my life, but a lovely little TV series I picked up on recently. It has it's quirks(artistic oversights or just low budget and some silliness in the script), but these all fall away to nothing when we get to the main character, Charlie Crews. I love this guy, he's very well done in a likable way.
Don't wanna say too much as that will spoil a lot, as his character and his experiences are the centre of the story(IMHO).
Basic premise: Detective Crews has spent the past 12 years in prison serving a life sentence. New look at the evidence reveals the DNA does not match up with him and he is released from prison with a healthy settlement of cash(never mentioned exactly how much but 5-50 are the current guesses and he seems to be loaded with the stuff he acquires throughout the series). Despite this he still returns to the force as he liked being a cop. Here is where it gets fun as we get all this interaction with people and how his trial affected them and how he changed from being in prison. Do take note of his love of fruit <3 and the shows follows along Charlie and his new partner along some of their more peculiar cases. They don't go the CSI route of detailed evidence and strange testings revealing new evidence, he mostly goes about solving the cases by dealing with the people involved in a direct manner. More is going in the main story as well, but you'd best watch to show to see all that^^

Episode 8 "Farthingale" is by far one of my favourite episodes and it's responsible for getting me hooked on Aimee Mann's Cover of One. Farthingale is a wonderfully thought up character and my only regret is we never get to see him in action(the episode resolves on solving his murder, but we get to know a lot about him, though I do admit seeing him in his main job would probably have been boring XD)
