Btw, Kendo training with the Japanese Navy was AWESOME!!! I had a great time training with Tani-san! He's a really good teacher and I'm gonna miss his smiley face. I'll miss Mr. Paramedic (I didn't get to ask his name...) too for taking care of my injury (it's actually a small injury, but my toe nail nearly umm.. came off??).

I had a great time with David-sensei too! Glad he came back and was here to train us although only for 2 days... I wish he could stay longer though. Today he's leaving Brunei... Hope I could make it to the airport to see him (I have chores in the evening...)

My presentations yesterday (3 of 'em!!!?) were done quite... well. I was just so tired that I didn't get to do a 'Hyper Presentation'. Keh... And got activities that needs attention coming soon. Ueehhh.... m(- -ll)m

*sigh* I didn't get to do much on my manga... (T-T) Gomen ne~

Well, I don't have much free time. I'm currently having my Kendo workshop which will be held for 3 weeks (this is the 2nd week). It's preparations for us since we gonna have a training session with the Japanese Navy who'll be here in Brunei on 11th August.

We'll also do a performance for the Japanese Ambassador, Hahimoto Itsuo-san since he's going to leave Brunei soon. Hashimoto-san is a very friendly man and I like him (though I only get to interact closely with him during Hina Matsuri at his residence). I'm gonna miss playing a game of Othello with him...

Okay, I guess that's all for my entry today. I have to prepare for today's training. XD

I guess I've been too much work for the past... 11 months? Man, didn't actually get enough rest every night cuz of assignments + chores + babysitting + personal projects + club projects & activities. Yeaaaaaaah, that's a lot... I'm a workaholic. I get restless if I got nothing to do. (=3

Sorry guys, my work will have to be posted late. I'm moving slowly... everyone keep telling me too slow down cuz well, you could say may stress level has finally shot off the roof. But amazingly I'm able to stay optimistic with the weight of the world on my shoulders. Must be something to do with me being a Piscean who are known to be 'escapists'.

Well, my health is deteriorating. I get sick a lot for the past months... guess I overdo it without caring how the overwork stresses my body... Damn, another thing I need to change about myself. (>_>

My boyfriend was overjoyed that I finally 'stop' working and start having fun. LOL, he said my grumpy face looks scary but attractively cool, like those stoic faced anime characters! He told me once that my mood swings reminded him of Suzumiya Haruhi... which is true... kinda... I think...

Okay other things to say... Hmm, I'm praying everyday for the H1N1 pandemic to settle down cuz the world suddenly felt lonely since not many people dare to leave their homes, fearing infection...

And I'm not really sad that the Devmeet is postponed. It's actually a right thing to do. I don't want o hear anyone who came from the meet got infected and it feels like we're all to blame... and it'd be awkward to wear face mask when cosplaying!! XD

I'm not gonna tell who I'm cosplaying as though. It's much more fun if it's a surprise!! Heheheh... Okies, that's all for now~

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :flowerdanceplz:

It's 2009 and I'm turning 20 soon! And can't wait for the Japan Study trip!! So excited! And 2nd Semester will begin next week! I hope it'll be a fun semester! I'm also happy I passed my exam for my 1st semester! Got an average of B+ that's so unexpected since I was very, VERY sick during the exam season (the whole 2 weeks I was sick!!)

Got some project to work on... so I'm juggling, DA work, new projects and assignments next semester. I'll survive, always did... for some reason, I'm happy if I have loads of work. Hmm, ain't I weird?

Well, my assignments, tests AND presentations are done BUT I have Exam coming soon!! beginning 24th Nov and ending 6th Dec... Crud...

So, I'll be on M.I.A. for a while and will be back during December... hopefully cuz that month I'm gonna have a serious Kendo training and have to make preparations for BJFA 10th anniversary which will be held January next year. I'm volunteering for 2 performance...

As for my art, I DID some sketches but got no time to scan and post for ya'll to see... too tired... and lazy... still in zombie mode.

I have more projects popping up in my head and they're cool but troublesome for me to do at the moment... but may start doing it next year WITH an assistant!! Yaaay~ finally found a 'living-human-not-imaginary' assistant! And he's DD-chan!

He draws cute chibis [kinda obsessed with chibis... >w>], a totally BIG fan of Lucky Star, can do Lucky Star cheer leading moves (IT'S TRUE!!) and I will ask him to open a DevAccount soon so you all can see his cute arts!

Raya celebration is kinda... boring this year. Not as lively as the past but nontheless, I got $$$ heee, I'm still young! Nyahahaha!(though I'm almost 20 now... ^3^)

Arr... Sleep deprived, fun deprived, art deprived and sometimes H2O deprived (curse that full blast air conditioner!!!) and now I'm a walking emotionally unstable zombie...

Why emotionally unstable? I get cranky, hyper-actively happy, damn dull and slow, lagging brain process... whatever, there's more. The UBD Convo is coming and I'm asked to participate as a volunteer... dunno what kind of odd job I'll get.

Nyurururu... I'm freezing here... so cold... and sleepy... Can't wait to pass up my assignments, and done all the presentation... and also the tests... and the coming exam...

They're so lively and cheerful! I like Ayako-san because she likes Ookami!! Mai-san is so funny and she's a good painter! The funny thing is that when I told them my hobbies (fishing and manga drawing) they're so surprised!! Masaya-san is very impressed that I like fishing, well, Takuya-san too.

We exchanged ghost stories and Masaya-san was impressed we knew some of the Japanese ghosts and monsters. They're quite surprised that 90% of Brunei ghosts are females and they're shocked that I love Silent Hill! :laugh:

Mai-san and Masaya-san liked my art, and I'm happy to hear that!! XD I got their e-mails and I can't wait to chat with them! Yaaa~ it'll help improve my Japanese and I'll help them with English!

This is a very slow, agonizing work for me... Now that i have assignments to do.

Owies, my Pectoralis Major and Rectus Andominis are aching. You don't know what the hell those are? Well, they're names of muscles which I have to memorize cuz I have a test next week for my Phy. Edu class!! OMG!!

they're like about 50+ names of bones and muscles to memorize! I'm okay with bones cuz I still remember 'em from my Biology class three years ago. The problem is the names of muscles which are long, latin+greek-ish sound (eg: Sternocleidomastoideus which is the neck muscle)

Aw, go to hell with it. Now, what else is there to say? Oh yeah! The Japanese Speech Contest is tomorrow! Meh wanna go but I have to sacrifice TMNT:fast forward ep 10. And i have to think of transportation too... If i go, i get to meet err I mean, ! and other Deviants who may come and also my fwens~ X3

Where do you learn how to draw cool characters?
Meh imagination! Uhh, I just try to draw what I imagined. Practice a lot too. My old artworks looks funny XD. Sometimes I stare at someone's artwork and I tried to draw a character in his'her style. Like the sonic style characters but I add some of my own style in it (like hairdos, clothes, body shape...)

What's your weakness?
Duh! Drawing landscapes, buildings, vehichles and lots more! I'm practicing on those cuz I'm gonna need to draw 'em in my future mangas!

Anything about your latest work?
Well, I'm making trial designs of Petbots characters lately. I have a very long list of things I wanna draw and post here. Some are gift arts, some are fan arts, tutorials and some are just character designs.

Hmm, fan arts. How about Fan fiction? You got any?
I have some in my head but at the moment I'm very busy to even write them down... Some are for Saiyuki, TMNT, Beast Wars, Eyeshield 21 and Avatar: The Last Airbender

What about original story?
Well, whenever I'm writing a story, i ended up wanting to do it as a manga cuz it's just soo cool if it's a manga! >w<

Shorty died two weeks ago when playing hide and seek with his siblings. He was hiding under my brother's car and my bro ran over him. How ironic is that all the three siblings died being killed by a car? I was going to make a cat house for them but i was too late to save them... my parents wont let any cats into the house so they live outside.

What's your favorite cartoon/show when you're a kid?
Haha, I like Beast Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle a lot! I get depressed when I missed an episode. Cheetor's my fav. in BW cuz I love Cheetahs (the cubs are soooo adorable!) and Mikey's my fav. in TMNT cuz orange is meh most fav. color!

X-files is meh fav. TV show though I couldn't comprehend what they're saying (I was like six/seven years old!). I watched a bit of Roswell too. I just like the mystery, monsters and aliens!

I learn to speak English from the cartoons I watched.

Hmm, I remember that Waspinator always get slagged by almost everyone from both Maximals and Predacons. Inferno is a funny robot! He kept calling Megatron his Queen!! LOL I always laughed at that! Then there's Silverbot and Blackarachnia's romantic relationship. I feel icky whenever Silverbot says those mushy romantic words to her. XP

In TMNT... I don't remember much bout this cartoon (I was four/five years old). I used to have a Leonardo costume my dad bought for me. I remember sulking bout it cuz I want a Mikey costume! LOL Leo's my least favored character.

What would you like to see again at this moment?
BEAST WARS!! I really love that cartoon! I don't have to worry bout TMNT cuz I'm watching the new series (the 2003 Animated series)

Oh, I'd like to watch Cyborg Kuro-chan again! It's so wacky!! I didn't get to watch most of the episodes cuz I keep missing the show. If I remembered correctly, the show stopped before the final episodes are aired in TV2... Too bad...

The Background
It's about a Moon Spirit named Yue who has a crush on an Ocean Spirit named Umi. Not much to say, eheh cuz the whole idea of this manga is because I was struck by inspiration by the dream I had about them (probably because I was wondering about the Moon and Ocean Spirit in the Avatar the Last Airbender cartoon before I went to bed!) and it just won't leave me alone!! >x<

The story mostly circles around Yue, Umi and Bumi because of their intertwined past.

The Characters
Well there's Yue the Moon Spirit, Umi and Bada (twins) the Ocean Spirits, Taiyou (Yue's big bro) the Sun Spirit and Bumi the Earth Spirit.

There are other 'extra' characters too but I'm not gonna do much about them (Too lazy to lengthen the manga!)

Well, the clothes the characters are wearing are inspired by the clothes that ancient Asian people are wearing. Also I got inspiration from ATLA and a bit from CLAMP. Here, Spirits who are titled (e.g. the Moon Spirit) are elemental benders like those in ATLA. Those who are not titled are like 'normal' people.

Here are the comparisons between benders and title of the spirits I have:
Water Benders- Moon, Ocean, River and Lake Spirits
Earth Benders- Earth, Mountain and Forest Spirits
Air Benders- Wind and Cloud Spirits
Fire Benders- Sun and Star Spirits
Avatar- The Ancient Spirits

Well, the manga is really short. Like just about 10 Chapters or so with an extra chapter as the finale. I'll probably work on some 'Behind the Manga' short humorous series, you know, like bloopers!

Ahem, since I've finished with Chapter 2 of MaO, I'm gonna rest for a week or so to finish sketching Chapter 3. I'll just post more character designs of Sly Angels and Oh! I'm working on a new story called Petbots! It's kinda funny and friendly for kids (like meh youngest brother)! Though the one I'm posting here would be more teen-rated! (Can't help it, my characters just have to have potty mouths! LOL)

Petbots's manga will not be posted until probably next year. I need to practice drawing robots first and it'll take more time to do cuz this one's kinda serious. I'll be searching for an assistant too so If anyone interested, note me. If you're interested to read the story, note me too (I'm not gonna post the story BUT will post the manga in the future! After meh finish with MaO...)

There will be some cameo and stuffs related to Transformers/ Beast Wars in Petbots cuz it's one of the character's fav. show on TV! LOL I'll put in some other stuffs to for fun! >w<

What kind of guy do you like?
Well, I like tall and skinny guys (Hiruma-sama!!! ). Guys wearing glasses appeals to me more since I'm wearing glasses too. He has to know how to look stylish (I like it best if he has spiky hair), loves cats, play video games, watch anime and doesn't necessarily have to be athletic. If he knows how to cook, that's a bonus!

As for personality of the guy, he MUST be a funny guy. Someone who can make me laugh. He has to be charming, a gentleman, caring, protective and a bit childish (makes him cute!)

Oookay, are you the type who looks for the perfect guy?
Nope, I just sit and wait for him to come to me. Usually feeling bloom when you know someone better.

Who is the guy who has all that you want about your guy?
Hehe, can't tell you his name. Let's just call him, Mr. Adorable. He's my senior when i was in sixth form. he has almost everything in the list but the only thing is that he's very, very shy and a bit.... weird which i find so cute! X3 We met cuz we were in the same club. The Kendo Club.

Does you feeling for him just 'blooms'?
Yeah, it just happens. first, we don't know each other. Heck, we've never chatted before until a month later! At first, I labeled him as someone pervy cuz he's weird AND perverted (heck, most boys are!). Then we became good friends, talking about kittens, games, anime and art. Then I realize I'm beginning to have a crush on him.

Oooh, did you confess to him?
Yeah. I want him to know I like him before I didn't get the chance to since it was his final year...

How did it turn out?
Well.. we're still contacting each other now for almost three years. He still hasn't given me an answer...

Are you gonna wait for him?
Probably, he does like me... but he's not ready. I'm not gonna force him though. I'm happy as long as he's happy.

Doesn't it, like, hurt to wait?
At first yeah, it hurts. A lot but soon the wounds heal and we share many good memories together. I'm a very strong girl, that's what my friends say but I'm not sure... maybe I'm just stubborn and don't like giving up hope so easily.

WHY?! I dunno why...

UBD is okay, I have lots to say why I'm applying to take P.E. Diploma and the interview is last week. I'm still looking for a part-time job and still failing in finding one... T-T Bad Luck...

I haven't been online for almost 2 weeks (just using my mobile phone to go online, which sucks). Now I can continue with Chapter two of MaO. I'm a bit stuck with Chapter three's script. I lost meh inspiration... again...

I have three new kittens!! Yay~ they're so adorable!! I call them Shorty(he got short tail), Tira (she's got cool stripes on her face) and Noddy (he's always nodding... sleepy looking kitty).

And I've been having weird dreams lately, it seems to happen every full moon night. It was really weird... but a good inspiration for romance comedy stories!! Hehe..

What inspires you to make the manga Moon and Ocean?
~I was inspired by a dream I had a few weeks before I start drawing the manga. In the dream I was Umi and I saw the world around me in her point of view but I don't control her actions. The ending was pretty sad though...

Okay... So, who is your favorite character in the manga?
~I like Yue! I dunno, I just like his personality. The twins (Umi and Bada) are next cuz they're funny! Especially when Bada gets all overprotective over his sister and Umi has to convince him nothing bad was going on.

Do you have an assistant with this?
~ Sadly no I do everything by myself which is quite tiring...

If this manga was done, are you gonna do more?
~Probably... cuz I'm pretty sure I'll be very busy by the time I'm in University.

Ever thought of one-shot manga?
~Yeah, but it's not easy for me to do since I enjoy making long stories

What's your dream?
~Huh? Well, me and my friend have planned to work together and start a company where we produce Malay and English magazines for kids, teens and adults. Our employees would mostly be locals so it's a way to contribute to the community i guess. Give out more job opportunities to the local. That sort... Cuz we don't have much magazine of our own in this country other than Mekar, Juara and bla bla... Most of the cool mags are from Singapore and Malaysia.

Hiruma Youichi: He's just soo sool, mysterious and devilish! XD I like his personality! And he's just so adorable in the Anime! (Showing some of his emotions that I've never seen before in the manga <3)
Edward Elric: He's small (like me ) and he's a brother I wished I have! He would do anything for his brother and that spirit touched my soul. I also like him cuz I'm a fan of the Seiyuu, Romi Park- san!
Hamato Michaelangelo: my most favored mutant turtle from TMNT! (Raphael is 2nd) He's artistic, childishly cute and hyper! The personality I have when I'm small. I also like him cuz orange is my favorite color!
Razor/ Jake Clawson: the genius mechanic of the Swat Katz! I love cats! X3 And Razor's small... somehow I like short characters...
Chrno: he's soooo cute (cuz he's short! :3) He has a very sad past and he's so handsome when he's in his true form! Kyaaa!!
Syaoran: not from CCS but the one in Tsubasa Chronicles! He's got a mysterious past and I'm attracted to that! He's also trust worthy and a cool yet cute fighter! XD
Raven: from Teen Titan. She's mysterious and mostly bored, i like that.
Creepy Creature: She's just like Raven! But's she's much more wicked cool! Love her dark dress! (it's gothic like!)
Prince Zuko: I like his personality. He is just so messed up! A confused, short tempered and anguished Prince!

My Own Characters and their story:
Kardiez Salvador the Silver Legion: he has a tragic past and his mental condition is always challenged whenever he faces strong enemies. He has photographic memory and is immortal. He traveled all over the Central continent in search of the Dark Dragon to avenge the villagers and get back his sister Olette...
Mitchell: one of the TMNT look alike characters in Silver Legion. Mitch is like Mikey except that he has a dark side. Mitch is cheerful, artistic and caring for animals. He lost his early childhood memories in an accident where his grandfather died and he was adopted by a man named Hamato.
Ein Heatherfield: Ein is a pro gamer and is caught up in the cursed MMORPG called HAVEN. He is the key to solve the mystery of the curse because his mother's death is related...
Lucas Sinclair: his soul is trapped in another dimension and he and the other souls has to find a way to get back to reality. But first, he has to find his sister True and the secretof his birthmark. Lucas is an average guy who struggles to survive in a horror filled world... (inspired by Silent Hill)
Dante Sieghart/ Sin the Sinner: a quiet and kind Demon who is being discriminated by both humans and Demons. Sin fell in love with a human and he will do anything to protect her from the threats caused by humans because of him, even if it mean destroying all mankind...
Elizabeth Heidrich: she's a Ghein, a human who are spiritual and discriminated by other humans. She fell in love with Sin and died for him... such a sad fate.
Harada Minagi: she's just an average girl who wanted her best friend, Takahara Shujin, to notice how much she loves him. Minagi is clumsy, short-tempered and cheerful. Will Shujin ever realize her feelings for him?
Takahara Shujin: he's grumpy, bad but at the same time someone you can count on when you're in trouble. He would protect Minagi and make sure to beat the crap out of anyone who made Minagi cry. He likes his best friend but too stuborn to admit it to anyone including himself. Too bad Minagi couldn't see that actions speak louder than words...

And my back is killing me! I need a more comfy chair to sit on to do my work! I'll probably post the last half of the first chapter by next Thursday. But it ain't a promise, ok?

I'm also actively drawing random characters and some of them are old characters which i redrew with new costume designs. I'll post them too if I have the time to do it. I wonder if I could finish this manga though... the first chapter took me more than a month to finish (I expect to finish it within a month)

Oh well, as long as i couldn't fnd a part time job then I'll just have to draw more art to spend my boring time at home... I get so lonely *sob* but at least my dad's chickens are always clucking annoyingly and it made sure I don't feel so lonely. The stray cats I've picked up are not as friendly though, they just demand food but wont play with me... instead they hissed and claw at me! >.<

Last week i freaked out to find a 1.5 meter (looks like it) 'biawak' outside near the chicken coop. I hate lizards.... bad memory bout em...

A few days ago:
Me and my single friends were sitting around and talking bout random stuff (I avoid girly talk... it makes my skin crawl...) when one of my friends said that she's gonna be lonely cuz she got no boyfriend. Everyone's mood suddenly fell!!!

So i tried to cheer em up: Hey gals! We can still celebrate the 14th Feb as Friendship Day! Let's trade chocos and sweets and compliment each other.

Everyone gave me this look: o_O

Me: W-what?

Friend01: That sound like a good idea!!

Friend02: Yeah! How bout we go out and have a blast!!

Other friends: YEAH!!

But it never happened... we were all too busy so i just sent them some friendly text messages and miss call every one of them instead. Anyways, I posted 3 couple artwork today. Hope everyone loves it!

Neway... My 'Moon and Ocean' manga got delayed cuz I got this terrible fever the whole last week!! Waaargh! It was torture!! I thought I'd never be able to continue my solo project but then I survived the ordeal... So instead of posting it today (since it's a themed manga) I'll just post it next week.
