So I finally got my mitts on the Space Quest Collection today. The first one is fun (though I can't get far at all due to that little ball thingy with spider legs that blows me up...) but for some reason SQ6 scares the crap outta me. Maybe it's just that one area... um... something 16 or something. Not only is the music incredibly close (if not THE) Ooga Booga theme, but there are all these weird monsters and boob implant shops and a dude named Blaine who's really suspecious and actually cussed in a Sierra game that I could've sworn fell under E for Everybody ....(*pauses to look at the box* So it's teen. Okay.)

Yes, I'm finally getting off of my butt and writing my own King's Quest 9! I've had the title floating in my head for awhile, and I must say that I like it. =3

As for the actual movie.... I loved it.

Yes, I loved a Disney sequel. Go buy it! Or rent it, AT LEAST. Give it a chance! The animation is beautiful, the story is awesome (basically it shows that the Prince and Cindy would be in love even if the slipper didn't fit) and it even gets dark in some places. Some little kids may be frightened by this one scene where Cindy gets trapped in this rotting pumpkin carriage surrounded by thorns being driven by a human Lucifer-- creepy, and beautiful.

The best characters are definately the Prince and Anastasia. You feel really bad for Anastasia, they gave her a sweet (but stupid) personality, and I really like her. The Prince is hysterical. He makes the 'WTF' face often, smiles like a total nerd, and goes flailing out of windows (willingly) on more than one occassion.

My friends and I laughed out loud multiple times, this is just... a great movie. Go see it!

The Prince is worth it, dudes.

Now for Christmas morning. I got lots of things, but I just want to list the very very very very most awesomeist (I know that's not a word... XD) of all... even though it was all awesome.

Santa went surfing on eBay and got me a Camel with the Wrinkled Knees doll. You know, the blue camel from Raggedy Ann and Andy. <3

My mother, not realizing the absolute insanity it would bring, got me a black cloak. .... Okay, technically it's a red reversable cape (it's too thick to be a cape, stupid Plow and Hearth people) that falls to about my waist (it's so KYUTE! Perfect for references for May and Jul) ... Er, the 'opening' conversation went something like this:
Mom: Do you know what that is?
Me: *looks at the odd red thing in the bag* A red coat? o-o;
Mom: No, it's a red reversable cape-- *cut off*
Me: ITSA BLACK CLOAK! DDDDDDDD
Mom: O____O;;;

My wonderful cousin, Jordan, got me a Nightmare Before Christmas blanket with Jack and Sally (my favorite character <3... yes, I'm one of the few and proud Sally fans) that is oh-so warm and cuddly.

My Aunt Wanda got me many great things, but I especially love the "Scrooge" CD she got me. It's the soundtrack to the Broadway play... er... "Scrooge". XD You know, it's the one with THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THAT'S THE NICEST THING THAT ANYONE'S DONE FOR ME~

She also got me a Donald Duck T-Shirt, which I luffle. In fact, she pretty much got me a new wardrobe. XDDD It's gorgeous. <3

I've made an obligation to go to Otakon to meet a lot of my Gaia friends. However, er... I'm a wee bit low on cash.

Step 1.

Make a post in your dA journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. Juliette would fail, because she'd say, "Wait, I know magic, I can magically TRANSPORT myself over a cliff!" So, she'd do the poofy thing...

... and end up in Llewdor's Port Bruce.

04) What is or would be 9's favorite book?
LESBIAN PR0N! So, therefore, Shoujo Kakumei Utena!
No, I'm only kidding. She would read lesbian romance *coughpr0ncough*, though.

Yay for crossing universes! Ginger isn't really loyal to anyone, and neither is Kaze. They'd probably have a tea party instead of swearing loyalty to each other.

Fly's looking for a roommate. She has a choice between May and Ophelia... OPHELIA. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, OPHELIA! May would probably try to molest her in her sleep (or send her as an 'offering' to Hagatha X_X). Ophelia's an android, sorta like a Reploid... they'd probably get along great.


07) 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Kaze, Goro, and Willow. They'd probably go to a hotdog stand at a baseball game (Goro loves baseball, and he'd be prepared to use puppyeyes!). Kaze would probably be falling asleep at talk of sports, and Willow would be delighted at the chance to murder a large gathering of humans at one time. Goro would be in Heaven, then he'd start to get worried about his sister.

08) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens? Rosalie challenges Ophelia to a duel? Well, Rosalie would suggest a netbattle, but since Ophelia doesn't have a Net Navi, the former would don her fencing gear and nobly attack using a sword. Ophelia would probably squeak and run to hide. O_o;

If Kaze (Steele) stole Juliette's most precious thing... uh... WHY WOULD KAZE STEAL MORDACK? No, I'm just kidding, he's not a possession. Juliette would (after about 12 times) poof to Albion, and then run away as it'd most likely be a full moon and Kaze would be all defensive... AS A BALVERINE. Juls would never see her spellbook again. In other news, I've gotta lose 80 lbs by June so I can go to Disneyworld. That's the deal I made with my mom... with this I should weigh about 180lbs. Wow... that would rock! So, I'm working hard (I just came back from working out). No, I don't mean in that sense.

I'm in a Women's Studies class... I realized far too late that it's basically a feminism class. Though the professor is happy that I have a different opinion than the others, I can't help but feel a bit ostricized. I'm going to continue with the class, though, if nothing else because I'm STUBBORN.

I like chivalry. I love it when men open doors for me. I'm flattered when they call me pet names. I want to be a mother and homemaker. (Of course, I also want to major in psychology, but that's not the point) I want to be a stereotypical woman. I like the idea of being a captive princess. I like the idea of having a man to love and depend on. I don't cringe everytime someone calls me a freshman... because the word 'man' is in it.

On the other hand, I want to have the option to leave if the man gets abusive. I want to be able to be a psychologist if I wish. I like being able to vote.

So... am I weird because I don't scream everytime someone regards mankind as... well... MANkind?

I'm so excited, my first day as a college freshman starts tomorrow!

I was a princess who was in love with a jester. I had about ten brothers and sisters, all different races, and the jester was very kind to them. When an evil king attacked, he took us on a journey to hide us. One night when we were sleeping, I had a dream that I was walking through the gardens... I turned a corner and there was the jester! His hat obscured his face and he was bent over like some horrible evil creature from Hell. I screamed and then I woke up. The jester was sitting beside me, half-awake. I told him that I would ruffle his hair, but he hated it when people touch his jester hat. He smiled, closed his eyes, and held my hand.
When I woke up, the jester and the children were gone. I freaked out and ran back to the castle, to the same spot in my dream. My sisters and brothers were looking around the corner and screaming. I HAD to look, and I screamed as well. The jester was standing there, tall handsome-- but his eyes were blood red! I collapsed as the children ran away and whimpered for my mother, then I blacked out as I saw him walking towards me.
When I woke up, I was on a train. The children were asleep on the floor. The jester was sitting across from me and he explained that he was now a servant for the evil king. I knew that we were going to the castle, and I commanded him not to hurt my mother. I can't quite remember what happened next, but I do know that he hurt me.
When we arrived at the house, I rushed ahead of the children and the jester to warn my mom. She tried to lock him out, but I told her that he had my brothers and sisters, and that if he got in he would hurt her for sure. I saw him reaching for the gate with his white-gloved hands...
