I'm not drawing anything now, and I probably won't draw anything till the end of this month because of massive amount of exams. When I'm not studying, I'm either mortifying my brain with mindless grind of WoW or indulging myself with zombie shootout of left4dead. Lately the latter dominates my free time, it's so sickeningly satisfying... For a game that has no plot at all, it has some pretty well drawn characters that you can get attached to. Think I'm gonna draw Bill when I'll have a few hours to waste.

Today are the EU elections. As always, I'm not voting *for* the party I like (there is none), but aganist those retarded right-wing catholic fascists of PiS ("Law and Justice" my ass) party. I cast my vote on some guy from PO ("Civic Platform", they hold the majority in Polish parliament now and don't do shit), because he was the least fat of candidates in my district.

Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine.

That's right. You know the other 40k vidyia that I've played?

What do these have in common? That's right. In single player of all those games you play as Empra's finest. I don't count expansions to DoW, because those are expansions, not stand-alone games.
Throughout the years, I often encountered opinions that SM are GW's favourite Mary Sues. Yeah, they are Mary Sues. Many young players begin their 40k experience with mehreens. They're brainwashed Schwarzenegger mutant religious fundamentalists. That's Mary Sueish, but still awesome for some people, including me. But are there no other armies in grimdarkfarfuture? If they wanted to make an action game where all you do is destroy shit and kill people in many fun and brutal ways, then why wouldn't they call it like "Warhammer 40.000: Khârn's Night Out" or something. If they have urge to make something Imperial it's cool, but why not the Inquisition? Why not the Inferior Guard? Even playing a Grey Knight would be far more fun, because it would incorporate some weird psychic shit. Hell, even Space Wolves would be better than another generic codex chapter like Bald Ravens. What are they thinking?!
There's NWN2 engine. Combine it with Dark Heresy. What do you get? Awesome grimdark cRPG (if they just would remove light bloom and all that shit). Why not? Yeah, because there wouldn't be spess mehreens.
Ah yes, you may point out that there have been one game where you don't play as SM. Fire Warrior. Those are tau, for Empra's sake. The race that has been created for the sole purpose making 40k franchise appealing to weeaboos.

The childhood section of the game that takes place in vault was at least decent. But when you embark on your journey across the wasteland... damn it, "good" ol' Oblivion's back! From there on any fun I could get out of plaing this ungodly abomination was blowing heads off. But after a while, it gets boring.
The npcs are probably the worst. The guy is yelling at me, but his facial expression is all 'chill-out, mon'.
80% of enemies consist of super mutants in 3 flavours: spiky board, hunting rifle and minigun.
BoS look like skinny midgets compared to original games. And they're all like 'HEY LETS HELP EVERYBODY FOR STEEL YAY' kinda good.
It's epic how they managed to mess SPECIAL. Perception now affects only energy weapons, agility small guns and endurance big guns. So your perception will not affect your accuracy while shooting for example assault rifles. Yeah, sure it makes sense.
Radios are awful. While the music quite fits the atmosphere, the whole broadcast is looped 10 minutes. If you'll stick to listening to radios, hearing the same stuff for tenth time will make you go fucking nuts.
Some situations are just pitifuly far-fetched. Like, so theres a luxury house. 20m northward of it you'll find raiders' camp. 30m westward, you'll find a damn platoon of supermutants. And guess who holds th luxury house? One drunk and drugged latino with two whores and a hunting rifle. Without even locking the damn door. Probably super muties are scared shitless to face that desperado.
I could probably rant on for hours about how bad it is, but take my word for it - it's truly awful.
