Hello! This is ~tobirankai, new staff member here in the club! I'm kinda taking over the club for a while says ~ryoshockwave. The club has caught up with submissions and whatnot, so it's ALL good!

And already, with the 20 or so deviations that I've uploaded onto here, I already have seen that there are several people that are faving the submissions here.

Seriously, please, read the ARTIST'S COMMENTS to FIND THE LINK to the ORIGINAL DEVIATION. Then fave it there.

Artists like it better when you fave it on their account and not the club account. Honestly, the artists deserve the fave over there. [[it's also a really annoying pet peeve. I'm sure it's any club's pet peeve.]]

I cannot stress this enough.

Remember, if you want to submit pictures for our club, 3 deviations per note, and one note per week.

The club has been on the slow side, lately. Sorry if your submissions have been taking a while to appear in the club. We could probably still use another staff member or two, anyone who can follow directions and type proper English, who has a few extra hours to spare every now and then.

About the contest [link] well as you can see the paid account ran out on here, so I'm not sure if I will be trying to get it back before the time comes to vote, or if I'll skip that part and decide the winner myself. As far as a prize goes, I really have no idea what I'll offer this time, besides the winner being featured for a month.

(Btw, if anyone wants to donate a subscription to this club we will put your icon in our journal for the rest of this club's days, which will hopefully be a long time).

Second Contest!~
The theme will be: Winter. Snow and snowmen, Christmas and Hanukkah, sledding and ice skating~ So mainly things to enjoy about winter, and even more fun things for artists to enjoy drawing. If you draw any winter-related art, feel free to enter it into this contest.

Of course, the piece must feature a kemonomimi as the central character. (And no, it doesn't have to be a reindeer, be creative!)

Contest starts: Dec 02 (today)

Contest Ends: Not sure on the official end date yet, probably sometime in mid Janurary.

News:

First of all, special thanks to who has been doing a great job updating the club in my absence this month. Since I will continue to be sidetracked with life, I will be making a few changes to make this club run easier.

First change, a very important one, notes are no longer required to join. I realized that making people send notes just takes even more unnecessary time. If you wish to join the club, simply +watch us and start submitting work at any time.
And +watches are always welcome, even to those who don't plan to submit art.

A change on work submissions: now you may only submit 3 at a time, instead of 5. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also, no more than one note per day. The submissions seem to build up quicker these days, hopefully lowering this rate will fix the problem.

Also, from now on I'm not allowing wings to substitute for animal ears. The character must have animal ears, the only acception to this is if they have a tail (like a saiyan or something). Bottom line: The character must have animal ears or a tail to pass.

Last change: no more member list. Sorry, but it's a pain to update. From now on the list of watchers is the member list, as everyone who watches this club is automatically a member.

To all staff: From now on, whoever uploads a submission in the club must put "Uploaded by : devusername: at the bottom of the comment. I need to know who, besides me, uploads around here. I've seen some people making big mistakes on the uploads as well.

Another reason for this, is if anyone does not contribute to this club within the next 30 days they will be removed from the club's staff and made a regular member.

Any current staff member that wishes to quit being part of staff may contact me at ~ryoshockwave Likewise for anyone who wishes to be part of staff, help is always appreciated.

Voting starts now! However, I have not closed submissions officially, if you still want to submit something, you have until the 28th, that's three extra days. Because of this, I will allow anyone to change their vote at anytime before the deadline, if you are extra indecisive, you can even change it multiple times.

To vote simply leave a comment. The only rule is you can't vote for yourself. I would prefer votes not be sent by note, but if you absolutely have to be anonymous, then just title the note "vote".

I'm thinking of changing the deadline to the 25th, yes that's sooner. The reason why is so I could leave the last 6 days for voting. The contest will still officially end on the 31st (halloween). However, I'm not going to do this is anyone is still working on a picture and doesn't think they will be able to get it done in the next three days.

Second of all, I've had a few people asking about club contests. Now, I have never ran a club before, so I'm not sure how to go about this. First of all, I wouldn't be able to offer any great prizes, such as a DA subscription. What sort of things do poor clubs offer as prizes?

Also, most clubs have themes. This one shouldn't be too hard to figure out, though.

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, I'd like to know. And if anyone is willing to donate to the club for contest prizes, or perhaps a sub of our own, ask me about it.

What we do not allow:

Please no elf ears!! I will only accept elf/regular ears if the subject has a tail.
Hardcore smut or violence. If DA doesn't allow it, then neither do we.
Non-kemonomimi characters (unless as a side-character/extra).
Full-on anthropomorphic/furry (Mostly animal with human characteristics).

Q Is _____ allowed in the club?
A Please refer to our guidelines and visual resource above, you still have any questions simply note the club or leave a comment on the visual resource deviation.

Q I have more than one account, do I have to make both accounts members to submit work from each?
A No, you can submit work from any other account that is YOURS as long as one of your accounts is a member. When submitting art please send the note using your member account, and specify that it is art work from an alternate account.
(you can only do this is the account belongs to you, if we have any doubts of ownership, we will note the account in question).

Q Do i absolutely HAVE to watch the club to be in it?
