Looks like Spring has finally began to kick in around here. We've recently had some schizophrenic weather. When it got warm enough to melt almost all our snow, we had a random snowstorm to replace it, only for it to almost melt away the next day. Then another snowstorm a few days later, etc.

I've been heaving on reading manga online. Recently I've read the Love Hina series, and started (and reached the newest chapters) of D.Gray Man, Fairy Tail, and now I've started reading "History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi"

But this journal was mainly just to update the To-Do List... Still need to work on the late birthday presents and request, I have a few more art trades, and I'm overdue for the Spring ID picture. Though with my weather, I guess it didn't feel like Spring... anyways, that's all for now.

Its been a long while since my computer got sick, hm.

Suffering from occasional freezes, but the part I dislike the most is how it can't send certain information over the internet. The internet works fine, I just can't alter it in any way.

For instance, on dA; I can sign in, but all comments, replies, favs, and anything else similar to those don't go through.

Same with any other comment system. I can sign in some places, but not others, like Youtube.

Also my Mom is complaining on how she can't delete her mail on Yahoo! and stuff.

...So yeah.

Oh well. In other news, I gots more volumes of Negima, the only manga series I'm buying rather than reading via online manga... *cough*

There was a new game store in the Mall I went to that same day. I ended up purchasing two more Nippon Ichi games, Soul Nomad and Mana Khemia. Both were under $20, so thats good, right...?

Today I went to the Theater and watched 'Journey to the Center of the Earth.' They had some games out in the lobby, I won a little wrist thingy from a game that vaguely had to the with 'drills.'

Pierce the Heavens and win a prize~!

Went to the mall after that. Got soem shirts and a game from Gamestop. I don't have enough money for another volume of Negima if I were to find a book store though D:

So, thats pretty much it. I got some of those requests done. Well... sketched out. I'll get them all sketched out before I finish any. :U

And while I made those sketches, I've been watching Cowboy Bebop. I haven't seen most of the show, you know.

So... yeah.

Kenju here, reporting from uh... Palmdale CA, was it? Yeah. Still getting used to the heat.

Didn't do anything supar special today (so far), just did alot of shopping. I only have my DS to play with when I want to play a game, but it should last with a Final Fantasy game :B

Didn't draw anything yet, but you can still request stuff, I'm here for two weeks anyways. Hopefully I can do some today...

Aside from that...hm...

Before I left, I managed to finish watching Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. :U By the second episode Komori Kiri the hikikomori was my favorite character :> [link]

The funny thing is, this happened when I was looking either. I was sitting in the car while my Mom was driving us. I was playing a game, then I turned it off and closed it. A minute or two later, I opened it back to be greeted with a more... internal view of the hinge. Wow, I have to stop looking away from my DS. It was in my lap the entire time. In fact, I'm pretty sure I was able to salvage the broken piece. It must be in my coat pocket or something . Well, I'll let you guys know if it reaches the breaking point, the big one.

Well to make that day a little better, I bought No More Heroes. Nifty game, it is. :B

And added to that I got my hands on a Wi-fi USB adapter. Which is odd, I'm pretty sure Nintendo stated that they were "discontinued" some time ago.

I can't find my Mario Kart DS, so the only Wi-Fi game I have is Brawl. So note me if you want my friend code... or... whatever.

It's the thin piece right next to the section with all lights and stuff. :c

Not exactly sure what happened or when, I had it closed next to me while I was on the computer yesterday, which I later took up into my room when I plugged it into it's charger. When I opened it that night, I found it feeling quite loose and later noticed why, there was a small part of the hinge that apparently chipped off.

The hinge may have a small chunk of it missing, but thankfully my DS screens aren't dangling off of one another or anything. It's just really loose, as in the screen can't hold itself up at any angle except for fully open. I just hope the thing doesn't fully break off in the future. jdfjakslfskj waaah, what should I do? ;-;

Enough whining. Meanwhile I'm just starting the fifth episode of the third Phoenix Wright game. Broken DS won't keep me from the conclusion of the game D:<

And elsewhere in Brawl, I'm trying to beat Boss modes on Very Hard mode so I can start on Intense mode (which will be SO much fun,). For the first half of the time I spent playing Brawl I used Snake the most, and I won a handful of the few online matches I was able to play with him. However, I've recently shifted to Captain Falcon. Why? Simply because I watched this, which I had seen quite some time ago [link] . It's not as good as in Melee, but after watcing I just felt compelled to use him.

And now I report my feedback...

with Kratos over Zelos, I chose Zelos, for the whole Last Fencer thing... even though I didn't get to that.

I finally beat the final boss, which was a bit of a pushover since I fought him right after I was done beating Abyssion. I finished the game with characters leveled around 69-73, soo I didn't watch any of the level 80 extra cutscenes.

Like I said, I beat Mithos after beating Abyssion and getting the Devil Arms, which.... also was right after I beat Sword Dancer 3.

As for the affection system, I was deciding between Sheena and Presea once I was introduced to her. I attempted to go with Presea because of her Nagato-ness, but by the time I got her as #1 on my affection list, I was basically at Ymir forest before Kratos, and from there on, I wound up with Sheena in the end. Inf fact, if I use the Swimsuit event as a guide, seeing as the ones with most affection get the suits, which is late in the game, Presea was actually 4th, being beat out somehow by Genis and obviously by Collete. I was lucky I guess to be able to get her up there so quickly using whatever Presea choices remained. I was planning to end up with Sheena on the second playthrough, actually.

Though it was okay with me, Its just that the fact that I woulda felt more satisfied by the end when I wound up with Sheena if I was actually hoping for her in the end and not Presea... D:

Things I didn't do:
Coliseum Advanced Class: I only made it with Presea. In fact, I only attempted the Collesium with like, 3 characters
Coliseum Exhibition Match: I made it, but I didn't win...
Seles Match: Eh.
Imposter Scenes: Uh...for some reason I just couldn't find them anymore. They didn't show up after the donations and that was that.
Regal's Chef Costume and Master Chef Titles: Yeah, I just didn't bother with it until I forgot about it.
Final 4 recipes: I couldn't find them but-- Oh, right. I needed the Chef costume... har har. D:

But t'was a good game, and I'll continue another playthrough... for Presea this time. D:<

...Then I walk up to my room and find my TV and Computer's Tower missing.

My Mom isn't home yet so I don't have an explanation, but my sister dropped by while I was away, by coincidence. So I'm assuming when she came back she picked up the stuff she purposely left behind when she moved out while she was here.

She left the TV and the Computer Tower (which then I set up myslef using different computer things here and there; a monitor, a mouse, and the sound speakers.) And now she took it all back now that I'm using it~ TAT

Oy. Now my room looks empty. Not to mention I had certain whole animes on that computer and not in this computer (and vice versa) to save space between both. Plus I had an alarm program on it, which has been pretty effective...

Aaaaand the only place I can plug my consoles in now are downstairs.

I doubt I'll be seeing either again. Ohhhh dear. Things are changing once again.

I... uh.. found a few more things to be scanned... I'll pop them in the usual place maybe once I am at least told what happened.

Found a little red CD case with a couple of my lost PSone games like, 'Um Jammer Lammy' and FF9 Disc Two (Which I believe was actually my sister's friend's disc, thus I don't have any other discs, lawl)

My friend was busy with the PS2 I brought because his was still back at another's in my town, and he was finally able to beat Shadow of the Colossus after finding his own memory card in some box. He hated the ending :>
Afterwards, he played my Star Ocean 3 while I played Mega man Legends 2 on his computer <3

But enough of that stuff, I WAS ABLE TO FIND PHOENIX WRIGHT. (26.99)

But I lost my DS charger somewhere from leaving to... now. And my battery died after I finished "The First Turnabout."

Victory... and utter defeat. :[ Maybe I can charge it a little bit with the Car adapter plug or something.

I also met Boktai in it's unemulated form. The first game in the Gamestop where I got Pheonix Wright, and Boktai 2 in this awesome little store where it has a great collection of games throughout time. (And it looks like they know the good games; the mediocre ones are $15-$20 while Chrono Trigger goes for $70. In fact, I think Final Fantasy III was over $100.)

I spent most of the day with the lawnmower. And occasional 5-10 (*co30ugh*) minute break, and I would go back out. I mowed most of the plaza. I hated the thick grass spots. The lawnmower would just slow down and die, then I would have to start it again. My last path of grass was all thick. And I was yanking the pull cord a crap-a-lot to start it back, which I finally did and finished.

Instead, after waiting a long time at a "Wedding Shoppe" and haggling to go even though we were late on going home, I was able to get into the quaint Alpena Mall and stop by the Walden Bookstore.

Seriously, I am forced to get my manga there. I don't know of any other place except one in my actual town, which has a tiny 1/3 of a shelf dedicated to some obscure mangas and Shonen Jump hidden among the magazines.

Anyway, I was hassled on my time, so I was trying to find some of the thing I was eyeing for.

Et Cetera: Couldn't find any volumes
Disgaea: Forgot to look for it
Negima!: No Volume 1 available

Then, in the last 5 seconds I spotted JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

I grabbed it as soon as I realized the significance of obtaining it. lawl.
