This morning, history has been set into motion again. After several years of trying and 8+ months of waiting, she has begun labor with her second child. I admit I am extremely anxious to know the identity of this new life. The sonograms says it's a boy, but I'm not convinced, since the ones I saw were very poor. The baby will arrive either tonight or tommorrow.

Mostly everyone's friendly with me. I say, "Hi!" and they go, "Hi!" back.

Snuggling and cuddling! *mmmmurrrrrrrs!*

How many hours a week do devote to Cub time?
Maybe 10-20 hours. I never really timed it, but that's a guess.

To be honest, unless I have to go really, really bad, and I can't make it in time, I'll wet my diaper. Most of the time, however, I'll use the potty.

Someone feeds you green mushy veggies do you eat them, if not then what?
Depends on da veggies. I like spinach and collard greens (especially with bacon). If it's something that's not normally mushy (green beans, peas, salad), I'll go "Bleh!" and not eat it.

I bought a brand spankin new 2010 Nissan Maxima!!! The color is called Mystic Jade, which shifts colors, depending on the light, from blue to grey to green. 6-cylinder, 3.5L engine w/ 290HP, Continuous Variable Transmission, alloy wheels, sun roof, cloth seats with leather-traimmed steering wheel, shift knob, and door arm rests, MP3 playback capable radio w/ 6-CD changer and Bluetooth phone connection.

Grand total for da car - $31K! And, in case you're wondering, it comes with two (yes two) monster-sized balloons!!! One has been preiously used (haven't blown it up myself yet) and one when I get the car 'delivered' on Friday.

Jetta: Very unsatisfied with the test drive, no headroom (I thought Germans were tall SOBs!)
Civic: No muscle
Accord: Bad reviews (brakes and seats bad)
Camry: Bleh...
Altima: Bad reviews (major noise/mechanical problems between 3000-9000 miles)

I tried the Altima, and I was the happiest with it. I came within handing cash over fist down payment for a 2008 model before my dad stopped me and got me to think, "WTY?" It was a 2008 SE - cloth seats, alloy wheels, CVT transmission (standard transmission for hybrids), no sun/moon roof, price cut down to $22,000 with tax. Problems: one ding in the paint on the front (dad saw it, I missed it), and it has 2600 miles on it. Two other 2008 SE models on the lot, both with 6-speed manual transmissions, only had 50-100 miles on them. Dad's theory, which led to this car's rejection: someone bought it or did an extended weekend test drive on it, racked up the mileage on it, then returned it to the lot. It still had the dealer's stickers on the window, for crying out loud (which I feel like doing right now, BTW). We didn't even get to test drive it. Dammit!

I'm desperate for help here! Has anyone out there bought a new car in the last year? If so, what would you recommend I get? I want to get a mid-sized sedan w/o too much costly fru-fru, but also not be a total POS. And before you say it, Hyundai is totally out! Owned one before, never again.

1. I flew back practically alone. For CF09, I drove back at least half way with my freinds Todd Riverden and Bookshire.

2. A large feeling of guilt I did not have at CF09.

One of my freinds, and for the sake of protecting names, let's call him "Carl", tried out a brand new fursuit at AC. Unfortunately, he was used to his old suit, which was a partial suit. He overheated badly Thursday night. Saturday, he came down with a bad case of food poisoning (blamed on the Steel City Diner), but because he didn't want to regret missing out, he went through the Fursuit Parade. Right at the end, he threw up and was overheated again. The medics from the Security Staff aided him until EMS arrived. They later released him so he could rest in his room.

Another of my freinds, "Lenny", had a particularly difficult time. Friday morning, he got a call from his boss at the grocery store he works at. In a corporate knee-jerk reaction, he was fired because a coworker he trained accidentally killed himself and forced the store to close for several hours after mixing bleach and ammonia in the bathroom (made toxic gas). Sunday, while he was in the Dealer's Room with two other freinds, and while I was with another freind, he tried to spiritually connect with his freinds, but got hit with some major defence or feedback. The experience made him throw up and have an emotional breakdown. I feel greatly responsible for this because I wasn't with him when this happened.

Well, the plane ride back was difficult, but after a nice long nap between Pittsburgh and Dallas, I felt better. Plus I had two perks: I watched the E.S. Productions Animation Show (Amy in the Park and so on) and the plane from Dallas to El Paso was WiFi enabled!

I want to appoligize to everyone I upset in my previous journal. I also want to thank everyone who gave me support. That's all I have right now.

I got to meet his royal highness, Elliot (aka. Simba), JR, and KP from the Funday Pawpet Show, KB Yoshikawa, Radix, JD Puppy, Soundhound, Likeshine, Jay Naylor of Better Days, and lots of other cool furries! I scored four badges, including my second Marci Badge, and a b&w sketch, as well as a piece I previously commissioned from JD Puppy. Brad (I'm sorry, I forgot his last name) had a photo studio set up, and got some good photos! I'll post them as soon as they're published on Elliot's site. I bought a 3' print of one cute pic of me in suit for $20! And of course, nice big warm hugs and kisses for my two roomies, Jimmy Lapine and Pandr Pandafox!

A few disappointments though... I forgot my laptop at home, so I couldn't check email, DA, or FA. Because we didn't know there were multiple busses going to FunSpot, Jimmy, Pandr, and I missed out on a very special birthday lunch at a Japanese buffet place by 15 minutes. I had to leave around noon on Sunday, so I missed Wet and Wild and (if it happened) the Pawpet Show. And to one babyfur who wanted to meet me, Muira, I am so sorry. I looked all around for you, but I couldn't find you. Please forgive me...

For years, I was a fan of Trend Micro IS (PCCillan AV), but lately, it isn't as effective as it should be. I tried Kasparski, and it's choking my computer when I run Explorer and IMs. The free version of AVG is worthless, because dad got hit with a bad virus last year.

Does anyone have any good antivirus programs they could recommend? I'm despirate for help! Please?! :_(

But listening to the music... I couldn't take it. :_( It touched me in a way only a few songs have. The song is called Far Away From Home by Groove Coverage. To my knowledge, the only other songs that made me cry while I listened to them were If I Can't Have You by Yvonne Elliman, Winds of Change by The Scorpions, and God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood (on Sept. 11th).

I'm a bit confused as why people have been calling Senator Obama a Socialist (Communist). I remember seeing the pictures where he's the only candidate in the lineup not putting his hand over his heart when the Star Spangled Banner was playing, and for the longest time, did not wear an American Flag pin on his lapel. But are there more reasons becides these that are making some people think he's a Commie?

On Friday, 10 October 2008, Senator McCain was responding to comments from the crowd about Obama being a Socialist, and how they do not want him to become president. When he tried defending Obama as a descent person, he got right-out booed for it.

I'm not starting a political fight. I just want to see if these people's statements are justified or not. Anyone care to shed some light on this poor babyfur who's apparently blinded by the typical political hyjinx on the TV? Please?

Let's see, first the bitters:
1. I forgot my MP3 Player and good headphones at home.
2. Even though I brought my video camera with me, I didn't use it at all.
3. Wardrobe Malfunctions!!!
a. my cape slipped off a couple of times, but fortunately, I brought diaper pins to fix it.
b. my diaper slipped off just as I walked out my room door. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
4. This is my biggest problem - the ceilings in the hotel, with only a few exceptions, were coated with that super rough texture crap! Aphinity warned me about it when I checked into con registration.
5. The babyfur party Saturday night was goin pretty good, until some of the other babyfurs started throwing balloons around inside the room, and repeatedly 'forgot' about that frackin sharp ceiling (see Bitter #4)! Many balloons were popped, and several babyfurs, including me, were very upset over it... (

And now, the sweets!!!
1. I gots to see ona-chan Farellemoon again, and she gave me the two badges she made for me!
2. I gots to meet and Barra in person! Poor Barra was not feeling well during the con; she was sick and very unhappy...

Apparently she didn't know I was such a big fan of hers until Saturday, when I walked around wearing O&M tshirts. I bought 4 of the 6 books (already had #1 and she ran out of #4) and signed all of them, along with a copy of Furrlough #61, which contained the original Tales from the Planet Q, and she mades me a cute badge! Thank god for Paypal!
5. I gots to march in my first Fursuit parade! Yaaaaay!!!
6. I want to give special thanks to a special cute lil lamb, who helped me try to get over the babyfur party disaster...

Erf... of course, I realize my memory is pretty bad. If your name was not in this list, please let me know, ok? I also want to give special thanx and big hugs to my big brother Kupok and his mate Johnny-Dog Whitehair for helping me out throughout the weekend. And very special hugs to my new big sister, FarelleMoon, to whom I discovered we share the same handicap, Cerebal Palsey, to nearly the same extent.

Well, I flew to and from Denver on Frontier Airlines, the (un)official airlines of furries everywhere! I flew into Denver on a jet with (I think it was) a black ferret on the tail and winglets, and flew back to El Paso on a turboprop plane with a baby raccoon on the tail. I got to see the red fox jet, but it was parked at a bad angle so I couldn't get a picture of it.

I think I gave away at least 60 of my balloons to folks! It was really fun playing DinkBall with them in the ballroom hallway and a large vacant area. Of course, the fursuiters went nuts over them! Some folks had the right idea by tying them to their tails. I, of course, followed suit, but I had 3 balloons on my tail!

Saturday, after the Fursuiter's Parade, I felt it was time to go all out. I went back to my room, and put on my Monster Maroon uniform! Folks gave me lots of compliments about it, and I told them about dressing as I was to Starfleet events (with a foxhead hat and tail) and my plan to wear my fursuit at the Starfleet Region 3 conference in July. I wore it until 10PM, when Thrashbear invited me to a babyfur party at his room.

Unfortunately, I have two regrets. 1 - after talking to hotel security and everybody, I ultimately was not allowed to carry helium balloons and pass them out to folks like I wanted to. So, that was a wasted $80 for the helium rental. 2 - I didn't take my Marci badge like I should have. Anyone who is a true babyfur must have a Marci badge! If you don't have one, you need to get one ASAP.

I looked at a couple of fursuit makers - Arend Studios and Furr Happens. Arend Studios wants $2450 Canadian for a "Standard Custom Costume", which is a bit more than I wanted to pay, plus I'd have to get it through Canadian/US Customs. Furr Happens wants $1495 (much better) for a "Fullsuit", but they won't start on it until July 2009! Ack!!!

I do not want any of the mass-produced fursuits I've seen for sale on several costume sites for $700-1000. One looked really cute for $1700, but it doesn't have a tail! All the others, I'm not happy with the look.

I want a good cute fox fursuit that's not too terribly expensive and I don't have to wait a year to get. Can anybody help me? Please?! :_(

I have been activated by my military unit to learn how to drive commercial busses, just in case evacuation orders are issued. I could be AFK for a week or a month. I don't know. The last time this happened was during Hurricane Katrina and Rita 2 years ago.

I admit I was nervious when I heard about a live action Transformers being made, but I say it was well worth it.

I liked all the small touches they put into the movie. Example, when the Decepticons communicated with each other by radio, you see their language on the screen, followed by the English translation. Also they had a nice way of changing the Transformers from Protoform to Disguessed Form (by visual scan or by touch).

The inside jokes were great too. In the parking lot where Sam finds Bumblebee, he's parked next to an old yellow VW bug. There were lots of other great jokes, but I don't want to spoil any of them.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it "The Height of Optimus Prime". A definate must see! Although I am in total sensory overload, it's well worth it. BTW, I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if I saw it at IMAX.... X3

When I was 3 months old, living in Dallas, mom got into a bad car wreck just outside our residential area (Cochral Hills). Mom didn't notice anything wrong unitl she tried to change me and couldn't straighten herself back up.

Every few years, her back goes out so severly, she has to be admitted to the hospital. Dad and I had to admit her Thursday night.

I am ver concerned about her. I DO NOT want to imagine how it will be with her back and a bad case of Alzeimer's... and she is 63yo.

I discovered (too late) that the Wiimote that came in the box was already synched with the Wii. I didn't realize it, and synched the remote when I set it all up. To fix it, I followed the instructions to remove all the Wii synchs (hold the Synch button on the Wii for 15 seconds), then resynched the Wiimote once. Once I did this, the Wii works perfectly!

On the 29th of May 1973, a very preggers vixen whelped her first kit, me!Even though there were a few complications, things turned out ok.

Just in case you weren't able to tell, it's my Kitday on Tuesday!!! If you'd like to draw me a present, I'd appreciate it! BTW, this lil foxie loves balloons!

Last Friday, I caught a glimpse of the newest Transformers trailer on tv. This morning, I browsed the site, and I was pretty impressed. I only hope the finished movie will actually live up to the expectations I got from watching the preview.

I will not spoil anything about this. If you want to see it, goto The Official Transformers Movie Site and watch both teasers and judge for yourself.

BTW, you'll have to dig a little through the site to find out who Speilberg landed to voice Optimus Prime and Megatron (not gonna give it away, either).

Dad ordered DSL for our home, which arrived and was activated Monday. After 5 years of hearing about DSL, dad finally joined the 21st Century!!! So long, dial-up!!!

I've been having cooling problems with the 1995 Hyundai Sonata I've been driving since I had to get rid of my 1988 Firebird Formula. I had to buy a new radiator after the original one burst. Thursday, dad told me to take it to some place near my house, which turned out to be a car lot / mechanic's shop, and dad traded the Sonata and some cash in for a 1997 Honda Accord. He then handed over the 1997 Nissan Altima he was driving, so I would be without a car. It runs good and the AC works, which is a must in the desert SouthWest!

Today (Friday), I finally got my income tax return, so I paid for a year's subscription to DeviantArt. I'll be getting other things like Vol. 2 of Naruto Uncut!
