Hey Folks,
Sorry for the long lull on posts but I've been really busy with work. I had to build a grim reaper out of garbage for a Halloween party and I'm up till 3 every night watching things on hulu. Every once in a while I'll bang out an Iron Man card for Upperdeck, but most of my time in spent thinking about the Marvel 70th cards and doing commissions.

Check out these awesome documentaries I've been watching on youtube:

Drunken History 1
Drunken History 2
Drunken History 3
Drunken History 4

Also, is working on a children's book.
Heroes Con is later this week and I'm totally going to be there. Not just be there, but be behind a table with the fellows of Team Awesome. Come Check us Out!!! I've been working kind of hard to get things done. There's going to be prints and sketch cards and high-fives galore. I'm not sure where our table is but if you follow the smell of whiskey and the posted notes with penises drawn of them and you'll find us.

East Coast Team Awesome:

I totally have a website in the works!!!
Now that I have officially become a subscriber to the deviantart community, I feel like we need to have a little chat. It seems like almost every time I go to the deviantart home page I'm seeing one of the following:
1) A jackass kid dressed up like the joker
2) Some kind of fox like creature in a provocative pose
3) Anime characters about to kiss, kissing, grinding, or being gay.

It's ridicules. I can't understand how there can possibly be that many people on this site into that kind of thing. I like porn as much as the next guy but... they're real people. It's a HUMAN woman, sometimes maybe more then one. If you're getting hard from watching hello kitty or some kind of robodong monster then you should be ashamed of yourself. I can only assume that that audience is like a kid dressing up like the joker. They just don't know any better. They need to be slapped in the face and called a douche.

With all this in mind, I've decided to post some new pieces. One of the next pieces I'm working on is of a porn star. She's real and talented and she'll be mine one day. I don't care how many dudes have spit on her chest in the past.
The other piece is just a robot and doesn't really have anything to do with what I just wrote.

Preview of things to come:

Tooth and brow:

Thanks Shaun!

Time has just been flying by lately. Oh man, I can't believe it's already November. It seems like summer was just yesterday.

So, I've been trying really hard to get more card gigs. True, they're not the best jobs but I enjoy it and the more big names on my resume the better. I've been doing samples, writing emails, and asking artists for advice. It's been a lot of work. Out of the ... let's say 20 artists I've written to asking for advice, 5 have written back. Out of that 5, two people have actually given me something to work with. I didn't think there would be so many dickheads.

"Hey, I saw some cards you did and they looked great. How did you get that job?"
"I asked nicely."
"... thanks."

Besides doing cards and taking care of my grandma, I've also started taking classes again. It started off as me wanting to know more Photoshop and Illustrator but now I'm taking college classes. I'm not looking for any kind of degree, I just want knowledge ...and college girls.

Hellboy 2 sucked big time. As I sat in the sold out theater, I would look over at Joe to see if his reactions were the same as mine. He looked pissed and bored (same as me). From the start I had little faith in the movie. Same as the first one I felt like if you saw the trailer for the movie, you just saw the best parts. Without ruining the movie for people that want to waste $9: Hellboy cries, Liz gets knocked up, and Abe gets drunk.

San Diego is 10 days away. I really need to get my ass in gear and have more finished stuff. While I was going to the Joe Kubert School I had 10 classes 5 days a week, most times 10 assignments. For two and a half years I didn't miss a deadline. When I did, it wasn't by much. Now that I've been out of school for a year, I've slowed down considerably. I don't know if it's because I don't have anyone looking over my shoulder or no official deadlines, but it sucks. I need to get faster.

So to start off, I quit my shitty shitty job. I had been working for a company named Wyeth, best known for Advil and Centrum. What started off as a typical 40 hour week job turned into 70- 80 hours FORCED OVERTIME. I could only take it so long (8months).
I have now started my quest to become a freelance artist. I should be good for about 2 months before I'll need to get a part time job, but in the meantime I'm going to be trying everything out. Book illustrations, comics, t-shirt designs, pictures of while he sleeps, etc. I started out trying to make a business but it ended up being to detailed. I think I'll make it the entrance to my website instead (something else in the works).

Besides that, I've been working out again and I'm pretty happy at the moment. Summer is just around the corner. I'll be posting new stuff some.

Baby Kisses all around to my crew. I miss you guys and I hate neff. I would hate to seem like a boring robot just posting shitty art rather then a kickass guy posting shitty art.
I've recently began working on my Marvel Masterpiece 2 cards, already a big improvement over the last set. Instead of doing 200, I'm only hitting 30. I have so much stuff to work on but I don't seem to have the time.
