Here’s some updates to amuse you for the several minutes it takes you to read this tl;dr journal:

It was only the other day that I did my last exams-- EVERRR! That means I can kiss thirteen long years of schooling goodbye and start looking at the world from a slightly broader perspective.

And I might be going overseas for a holiday, but I'll just have to wait and see.

And, on another note, the MOST amazing, wonderful and lovely, commissioned me! Thanks so much! I’ll be uploading it soon

Also, thank you to everyone for the faves, comments and watches I’ve received in the meantime! It means a lot And before I upload any new stuff I’ll be replying to all of the neglected messages

Alright, for starters, I'm going to be doing a "sweep" of my gallery, in other words going through and deleting most of my old/really really REALLY crappy works. It's a new year so I'll start afresh. So, apologies in advance if any of you had very nicely commented/faved any of my old stuff, but it really needs to go.



Hmm, I've also realised that I'm suffering from an art crisis haha. And, as much as I adore experimenting with different styles I've decided it would be nice to have one type of art/style as my main one. And I'd also like to know what type of "art" you'd like to see from me.....

Secondly.... I'll tell you a short tale of my trip to the hairdressers today....

My mum and I went because our hair desperately needed a trim after 6 months and it had grown out.

Now, we've been going to these hairdressers for a long time and they know us pretty well. Simple enough. I get in there and I tell the lady (who has cut my hair for the past three or four years) twice what I wanted, "Can you trim it and kinda restyle it back to how it was?"
She nods and says sure, because she knew what it had looked like previously. But I don't think she really understood me.....

So she starts with a wash, and parts it, et cetera, and about a minute after she gets going with the snipping I notice a five centimetre long strand of hair fall from the scissors!

I had said trim! A trim! Not a restyle!

Of course even as I watched silently when the strand landed on the floor it was too late to do anything now. So I sat awkwardly and stared as my shoulder length hair gradually came up to my jawbone!

Halfway through I began to say hesitently, "Uh..."
"What? This was what you wanted right?" she replied, with a pair of oil-rainbow scissors in her hand.
"Uh... It's fine," I'd said. It was too late for my hair.

I'll admit she has a way with styling it. And I think it looks pretty good.... But I hadn't asked for it
So now my hair, as my mum described, "looks cute". That may be so but it's so short! Great, now everyone will think that I had gotten my hair cut this length to copy two other girls in my year who had recently gotten boyish cuts. However mine does not look like a guys, and my god I'm glad. Funnily enough one of the girls' has blond hair and Yuki said it reminded her of Cloud's hair.... I reckon it looks more like Roxas's
This was all an accident I swear....

Ahhhhh and i really-really-REALLY want to get Crisis Core! Yes, Yuki, your videos did help with that!
Its looks so emotional though!!! (am typing this just after watching Saving Private Ryan and so feels like a sap)
But it looks so awesome! And Yuki! Cloud looks so cute! He's got big pretty eyes that remind me of Sora's

hmm, camp wasnt as bad as i thought, and it was my last one too
but it was pretty good, i mean the cabins were more like hotels: carpet, a living room, kitchen, fridge, kettle, inbuilt bathroom, and tv! hmmmm it twas vereh nice indeed
however! the people we were rooming with trashed the outside areas including their rooms >_< it was disgusting, there were ants crawling around only on the second day coz none of them cleaned anything up >8(

the activities were good-- we didnt do much coz it was so cold XD
and the hike wasnt so bad either... we hiked up to Mt Kosciusko and there was heaps of snow! so pretty but i kinda went snap happy with the camera.... as usual

and all in all it was good X3 but am also sooooo happy to be back home with ma bubbas *smooches laptop and computer* ~

Jeez, Ive got all this stuff to do-- email people... finish and START commissions haha, im so lazy.

lemme see.... there's 2 big projects for 2 of my great friends that im working on. At least ive started them... now all i have to do is finish them.
maybe ill post some WIP pics of them, just to see how far ive got to go

yes, thats right. i dont have photoshop. how sad... instead ive got this pudgy old paint program called Procreate Photo classic... its the ancestor of Corel paint. its not a professional program or anything, but it gets the job done-- er, sometimes...
