A lot has happened this past few weeks. It's like one of my own Series of Unfortunate Events, really. It started with a bereavement; I lost a friend because of Cancer. It's hard to believe she's not here anymore. The other is a lot more serious, and I'm not going to discuss it here. School's really just a drag, and I've got lots of homework and work to contend with.

-sigh- Well, I thought I'd get rid of my 2-month-old Journal.

I'm going to write a bit about some of my friends, like Susan has done.


She's been a great friend, one who I enjoy having conversations with and usually we just spiral into talking about random things like KEY LIME PIE. We both share a liking to Ratchet and Clank, of course, we seem to argue over who Ratchet belongs to (he's mine, I tell you, all mine!).


We've been friends for about almost three years now. We met over that loathesome Neopets site. I'm glad I added her to MSN, I tell ya P: She's even taught me some Dutch 'Ik hou van, Schaduw' Well, I don't think I've spelled 'Shadow' right, but anyways. She loves Wen, and I eat Wen, and we roleplay, and hop on pogo sticks.


He's a very considerate person, and shows that through his devotion to others and their art. He always has a kind word to say about my drawings and a lot of other people's drawings, too.


My awesome friend Colette, she always knows how to make me smile. MSN likes to not say to me when she comes online, though. I also love to roleplay with her, Sonic or otherwise. She tends to write more than me, though O: -shakes fist- My pebble!


We both really like Kaiju, hehe. We used to roleplay some Kaiju way back when, I happened to be looking back on my posts and I realise how much better at roleplaying I was back then, heehee!

There are some other people who deserve more comments and views than they currently get. I'll make a list of them here.


She's very skilled at drawing, and her gallery is very good. She has a good talent for horses and anime drawings especially.

In other recent news, reports of a chicken of gigantic proportions that has been prancing around the local area has not been verified. It is in fact a duck of gigantic proportions. Venture out with caution if you are not carrying Hoooovis on your person. The duck is heavily armed with a beak and a javelin, and is a sprightingly vivid shade of red.
And no, it does not lay golden eggs.

2: I try to cram in as much cell-shading as possible in my drawings.

4: If I'm drawing a picture and I space out my periods of work on it, I usually don't bother finishing them.

5: It is almost impossible for me to draw people in any shape or form.

6: I want to do more appreciated fanart of people.

7: I loathe my linearts.

8: If I don't have an idea in mind, my backgrounds aren't usually good.

But when I look at other random deviants, and see that they receive no feedback on their work, it saddens me so much, yet makes me grateful for the great friends who take their time to comment on my work. Thank you guys!
In light of discovering the 'Random Deviant' and 'Random Deviation' button (You guys can find it on the right-hand side of the 'Deviant Comments' page, near the bottom list of links there), I think many Deviants need more support in their work, and aren't 'getting out there' and conversing enough with other Deviants in the community.
So, I'm going to 'Spread some Love' when I get on DA for a while, and commenting on the random Deviations I see and making at least one other comment on another piece of work in the artist's gallery. It'll be anything, rest assured, that gets my interest the most.

I think it would be nicer if more Deviants make use of their time by giving more feedback on artists who feel their work is not getting appreciated enough.

Mutant Quadrapus. Crossed with a Zangoose, Fennec Fox, Dragon and Monkey.

Not always; Kitsune is carnivorous. I don't like veggies. But I don't go out and slaughter a stag for my mid-evening meal.

As she is a sheep/ram-like character, she coinsides with my Aries Zodiac. Being of a Monkey in the Chinese Zodiac, she retains her swift reflexes and monkey tail. I can't run much, neither can Kitsune. We both have short tempers and we both lash out usually. She likes power- so do I.

She has a set of sabre teeth and can run on all-fours. She controlls the elements. I control pencils and paper. I have thumbs, she doesn't.

Yes

It mainly is because of the fact I created an account 2 years back called 'koriami' and at that time Neopets was the best thing ever and DeviantART was just another site I didn't go on. I have to thank some of the people on Neopets, though, as my love for Sonic and all the characters to do with that genre sprouted from that very site. Roleplaying and my HTML coding skills are another thing that I have to thank that site for.
But,
there are a lot more things that I hated and still hate that site for to this very day.
The main reason is because the shenanigans with my 2 accounts. Koriami and Heartlesskitsune. I don't multiple account. Koriami was my main account until someone gave me a warning for a reason I am still unknown to, and I got an immediate suspending right after. I had MSN up at the time and what does it notify me with? A mail from password@neopets.com. Even Simon Cowell would have guessed that someone wants my account frozen.
So, I left koriami completely and created a new battledoming account named 'Heartlesskitsune.' Name suits well eh? I had a lot of great luck and enjoyment on this account. I created it just before the Pirates vs. Maraquans war, so I had time to create a Hissi, name him Sorophet and train him. Countless hours went into earning funds for his battling strength. I also had 2 other lovely pets: A blue Tuskaninny which I created named Caltempra and an Electric Kyrii I created called Elaphrett. Feel free to search them and you will find I am telling the truth. I won a paintbrush on that account as you can tell since I painted my Kyrii with it. Sorophet's stats totaled to almost 80. His strength at 29, defence at 23, and his health at 30+. I took the time to earn a trophy, gaining 90 points in the war with a 2 month old account and a battle pet created on Hissi day. Surely I was contented with my pets, I had already begun working on their petpages; having already finished Caltempra's with a picture of her and a tune from the well-loved movie The Lion King. No worries for the rest of my days...or so I had hoped...
One Saturday, I had went on Heartlesskitsune in the morning. Doing my 'dailies' as they're called, and went directly to a gallery account to roleplay on a guild named: 'A Time of Chaos.' Later that afternoon, I found my account was deleted for using inapropriate language. That infuriates me as TNT never even showed where I actually said these words, not even quoting either. Right after, I asked for it back. After 3 days of anxious waiting, they refused.
I cannot contain my anger at times with that site. I am prone to slagging off TNT, be warned of this. In my eyes they are very hypocritical and they never listen to complaints about them and hate to have their bad points shown out to the community. It pains me to think that they gave me an automated response to my handmade plea...
It shows they don't have a real reason, and they don't bother with just one user on their site. They must have a sport for deleting accounts for $5 or something.
If you think I hate the pets, I don't. I love the real neopets, and not the site, it's community and owners. Ever since TNT went 'global' and started selling merchandise, it's become a game for them. They have little care for their site, just as long as they get money and more n00b members, they're happy. That's how it comes across. So don't ask me for me to come back to Neopets. Don't ask me why I draw and hold pictures of their pets in my gallery. The low-down on trades and requests:

~I will draw your character, but if it is a human, it will take me longer as I am still not terribly good at human anatomy. Same goes for anthro. Hands are my worst part. You've been warned. I can, however, draw slightly better by traditional means. (BUT My scanner is dead. Dx So it's highly unlikely that you'll get a traditional piece from me!) so you would have to be prepared to wait. For a really. Long. Time.

~If it is of your character, you must show me a full reference, or a- very- accurate and detailed textual description. If the finished product looks nothing like your character then it's not really my fault. I'll most likely not edit any errors. But I will in certain circumstances.

~If you wanna trade, please try and make it look like something or you'll just get something I did in 2 minutes in return. The image doesn't have to be enormous, it can be small, but it has to show the amount of work you put into it. I'm not slaving over a picture just to find out that I'm getting something that looks half-assed in return. What you put into it is what you get out of it. You don't have to be a fantastic artist either to ask for a trade. I can tell when someone puts their back into their work by just looking at their gallery.

~If you're a generous soul, and do something really nice, I may present you with a gift. This is not the opportunity for you to start sending favourites to every single deviation of mine. I don't want that. My friends are the people most likely to receive a gift from me. Or those whom I admire.

~Coming up to me randomly and asking 'Will you draw my character' will end up in me NOT making you something. Why? Because I don't know you! Get to know me first before I even think about giving you something!
