I have been looking for a rat breeder around here for quite some time, and I finally found one in Cleveland (about an hour and a half away). I got in touch with them, was put on some "holding lists" and well, I got to go pick up my first boy from them today. They are great people and you can just tell how much love they put into their babies. "Noel" jumped right up on my shoulder, found my hood, and was quite happy where he was at XD. He was a Christmas present to my mommy He's an American Blue Variegated Rex Dumbo (with a very tiny headspot ). So yes, once we get moved, expect many pictures! Definitely excited to let Noel settle in and play with him in a few days

In other news, unfortunately we don't think we -can- get in the new house by New Years. I work and my mommys going through all sorts of medical tests >_< But, our deadline to be outta here is Jan 15, so we're not that far off!

Well my computer broke, and my brother very seldomly lets me get on and not for long. So needless to say my time is spent catching up on things and not uploading. I fiinally have a job again! But unfortunately all my money goes to my mom or paying people what I owe them =\ so not looking like I'm able to buy one anytime soon. Otherwise I'm enjoying the job quite a bit. It looks like we could very very possibly be moving again. Let me tell ya how overjoyed I am about that one... I am starting YSU again in the fall. I actually AM very excited about that XD.
I have started breeding mice both as pet and feeder. I love them all, but sadly it's a lot cheaper to breed than to buy. I'm still breeding my Chinese hammys I'm down to one litter once every couple months with them. I'm actually having a lot of people ask about them, which is nice! I have started throwing around the possibility of maybe getting another pair of Russian Campbell Dwarfs. I really miss my lines and colors. And with CDs it is just so hard to come by new blood. I am really starting to get stuck there.
We are adopting a new baby rat from a rattery. He is the cutest little thing and the people have been nothing short of amazing. We are signed up for two more litters in the next few months My other six are still doing amazing and are complete loves.

Really thats about the extent of my life right now. Hopefully I can start getting back on and post more... I miss ittttt

Really nothing all too too exciting... I got an external hard drive and so pics to share soon! And I have recent Deer Park piccehs along with Canfield Fair is next week (squeeeeee!)

Animal wise has been exciting... I have 2 puppies to share pics of, my Lilly just turned a year old a new guinea piggy, my hammys, and rats and mice to share piccehs of!

I now have 6 ratties... my girls are Wheezer, Cookie and Cream (Last two are sisters). And my boys are Yin (the babysitter), Chase, and just this weekend I got Stewart (much to Yin's excitement).

I breed mices (yes as pet and feeders... hungry snake and turtles to feed too.) We had my girls, Pixie and Dixie, and the boys, Tom and Jerry XD. Unfortunately Jerry died but him and Dixie had a little not long after! Theres a couple that look and act -just- like him . Since, Pixie and Tom have also had little 'uns, a week old today!


Concert wise has been fun too! I went to this camping park thingy with Jet and saw Dennis DeYoung... who was AMAZINGGGGG <3 we had a meet and greet with him after... we also saw and meet/greeted with Survivor too and Jet injured the one guys foot lmao (Hotness!) Then I went up to Darien Lake with another friend and we saw Def Leppard and Poison (Cheap Trick got rained out in NYC and couldn't fly up ) but Def Leppard was far beyond amazingggg. And with same friend and another friend we went to the Ohio State Fair and saw Blue Oyster Cult and Alice Cooper... omg hotness ;D. Blue Oyster left something to be desired but Alice picked up and made up for them and then some O_O. We're supposed to go see Alice again in September in Erie PA. Can't wait.


For those of you going to Canfield Fair let me know when! and you shall all be shocked BWUAHAHA!


I'll be posting pics and journals to go along with them whenever I get a chance But I'm heading back up the trailer to do some fishing (It's been amazing... I caught a 27" catfish, and no lie at least 5 others all over a foot long each... during the day o.0). I'll be home Sunday evening for the fair Wednesday... plan on going everyday to get my horsey fix no riding yet this year... After the fair ends Monday I'll be home until Thursday or Friday and then gone for the weekend XD Then I'll be back and back for good... Everything's slowing down for the year since fall and all the schools started up.

2008, One of my best yet worst years. So many fun memories, and yet two passing at the end. My Grandma Edie, and my puppy Domino. RIP to both, I miss ya. To everyone, thanks for all the fun. New York, fishing, just hanging out or chatting and everything in between.

2009... Hopefully it'll be a good year. Art wise, this year is starting out AMAZING in my opinion. Everyone on here has to wait to see it . This year I hope to just all around better myself, physically, mentally, and artistically... and any other way... lol. I can't wait for fall, I -am- starting back weekend classes at YSU and figuring out what I'm doing with work / college.

I was sitting here, 11 o'clock at night, snow outside. I hear mewing. So I get up to make sure it's not one of our cats (Tim -loves- going in cupboards and well, Max is Max...) So I open the backdoor and the mewing is louder. I walk outside and standing in our neighbors driveway is this absolutely adorable kitty. Ok, maybe not adorable... He's a big fat orange and white kitty with scratches all over his cute little nose. (Ya, I do think he's cute as all hell ). So I go out and he jumps on the porch then decides oh hell no, she's gonna eat me and jumps down. So I go in and get a can of cat food. After he figures it out, he -lovessss- me.

Bleeding Heart: Me standing outside, no shoes, feels like is 18* outside with snow on my porch, in a tanktop, feeding and loving on some random strange kitty i've never seen before.

Needless to say Kacie has a new friend (dubbed Sunny) and he refuses to get off the porch (the evil black poofy bitch cat is out there, thats who was mewing back and forth). But now when I go out and he realizes who it is he runs up and snuggles and I even have purrs now!

Sooo anyone around me wanting an adorable kitty He seems like he'd be a great outdoor cat (I'm just assuming "he")...


Just one more bleeding heart to chalk up... Time for me to go love on him some more

The story...

About a month ago I bought a female Chinese Dwarf Hamster knowing she was pregnant (I had a relapse and sooo miss having baby hammys ) ANYWAY... We named her Cy, short for Cyclops as she's mostly blind with one eyes clouded over and the other is very large. The day after we brought her home she had 6 pups, 2 died and 4 lived - 3 boys and one little girl. Jet22 took two boys, Ebb and Flow, and I kept a boy and the girl. The girl we named Pip for Pipsqueak because we guess she was the runt and noticably smaller for a long time and had a swell under her eye which has since healed nicely. The boy we kept and named Little Shit (or LS) because he likes causing trouble and escaping. When we seperated the 3 boys from Cy and Pip everything was fine, until Ebb and Flow went to their home and LS went depressed until he went back with his mom and sister and then he perked back up and is perfectly fine once more.

The problem being he could breed them at anytime. So my mom and I have been in search for a young Chinese male. No such luck. So I found the new girl, also very preggy. VERY preggy now. We are going to pick a male buddy for poor LS, and hopefuly he will be fine. Cy didn't get very big and had 6, this girl (who needs a name *hinthint*) is HUGE so we shall see how many she has.

But the Chinese dwarves are very sweet and different and I love them, I just miss the fun of color breeding in my Russian Campbells. (besides the Agouti, the only stabilized mutation in CDs is a dominant spot, which I do not have.)

So we are on a baby watch, which will probably be over tomorrow lmao and I promise pictures right away, not this waiting around crap =\. I'll probably post updates on the litter on this journal as we go, or I may make a new journal when it moves from pre-birth to growing up

And Jet, we want pictures from you too!!

I used to breed RCDs and am doing what has worked best in the past and what the hamsters themselves let me do. I do not suggest -any- of this to those who are unexperienced, especially going anywhere near the babies before they open their eyes. I do whatever the mother will let me do, and do not force or risky-chance anything, I am well aware of their personality before and during and am aware of the possibilities of what may happen.

I am in LOVE with my camera... it's seriously the best camera I've had to date, second that I've used (second only to my dads... cause that one's crazy...) I know in my last journal I said beware but didn't do anything yet. But I'm home now! So -realllyyy- beware mwuahaha!

So where to start...

My birthday:
Seriously this was my best birthday yet. Friday (27th... my actual bday) me and my friend Dianna and Mike D. (along with my mommy, and brother, and two of his friends showed up later) went and saw Wall-E. OMG he is the cutest thing in the world XD I can't stand it... Him and the little cleaning bot thing whose name I forget >_< But the theater we went to was amazing (hey I'm used to movies 8!) After the movie we went to the rib burn off to see Donnie Iris. If you like older rock go to his site right now and listen, he's amazing! ( [link] ) He put on an amazing concert, then again I've never been to a bad one haha. It was all standing room and I was "second row" because there were a few little girls sitting on the stage and over on the right side in front of Mark Avsec the keyboard player. He's probably one of my favorites to watch... he really gets into it. After the concert Donnie was signing and such and everyone seemed amazed at the shirt I was wearing (Little Black Shirt from his I think 2006 tour). I got a nice Ah! Leah! shirt and he signed the tag and I told him it was my birthday so I even got a birthday hug Needless to say the whole day made for an AWESOME birthday.

Saturday we went back by the rib urn off (it's in the parking lot of a mall, between the mall and baseball stadium) and went to the Scrappers Bark at the Park night. Me, my dad, and Dianna went along with Cain and Dianna's puppy Shadow. It was a great game and a lot of fun. Dianna seriously made
this birthday great XD.

Tuesday - Thursday me, Jet22, and Ginabina went to New York City! WOW. About all I can say. Broadway is just amazing, as is the rest of the area. Young Frankenstein was GREAT, if you have a chance go see it. We were seriously crying with laughter XD. There's so much to say, I can't even think of what to put here...

But! Needless to say I have -tons- of pictures to post. Sorry for the sudden floods when I get the chance...

I think I am officially stopping college at YSU, at least for the summer semester (which I had to go for =\). I'll know for sure in the next few weeks. So, I can only imagine one or two peoples minds right now.."WHAT?!" Well I was offered a possible job at a dentists office. I went in for a 2nd consult and referral (wisdom teeth =\) and we talked. He actually completely stumped me by asking, what if the work schedule and school schedule didn't click? He then went on to say that he wasn't sure because he wants someone long term, vet I'm looking at having to leave in 4 or less years. Completely understandable as it takes 6 months just to train. So he said he would talk to the staff and see from there, and me not holding my breath at all. I thought I did awesome at the PetLand interview and didn't get it, thought I did horrid at this and he called me today to say he wants me to come in Tuesday to talk it over more. But I thought about it overnight, and decided today I would call in to say I'd rather the job if I had to choose, and he ended up calling me first. Needless to say, great feeling!


Now for the even funner stuff! RENT!

If you havn't seen the play... go... NOW... I've seen it twice, once at the University of Akron and once here in Youngstown. Both had their ups and down comparedly, but oh so much better than the movie. Angel's microphone worked tonight during her song unlike in Arkon XD. And Roger looked MUCH better haha. But i got a little moo cow last time that has a shirt with moo with me" or soemthign like that, and I got a nice shirt and keychain from tonights Saw 2 people I knew and missed 2 others XD But I got to sit in row FF (right in the front... 6ish row, pretty middleish... twas great!) I absolutely LOVE the "Its beginning to snow" song... not sure if thats what its called... but i loveeeeeeeee it

Sooo everyone has those few things that they think about that make their stomach lurch. And every time you think about doing it you feel like you die a little inside. Ohhh geez thats me... again... Hehe just around Christmas time it was because I had to decorate a cake (yes... butter-cream makes me feel like I die a little inside every single time) The cake came out pretty cool for a quickie less than 2 hour job though so I was pretty happy. The next worse thing is unpacking. Oh. My. God. I HATE it. And its a true hate, not just the really strong dislike sorta thing XD. Still haven't unpacked completely from this last move (hah ya I'm slow and procrastinating...) Uggghhhh my stomach lurches and random shakes.... lmao I -hate- it. (you know a shake like a cold shiver... cept not cold enough for one)

Well New Years was ok... we though our lobster was dying... hes pretty ok now... we're still keeping an eye on him.

Domino is doing AMAZING. Oh my how I love that dog... He takes his shots like a good boy. We went to the vet and sugar was all the way down to 115! (It was over 500 when he first went, vet sent him home happy he was at 195, and just a week and a half or 2 weeks later hes here **huggles the doggy**

My bird is crazy and is taking a bath in his water dish -_-' I wonder about him some days... and now he is trying to eat Scooter who is looking at him like ... uhm alright? lmao I love my animals... That cat never learns, even after being bit HARD by the bird (little quaker parrot... but hes vicious) hes sitting there tormenting the bird now...


To whoevers in my area... don't you like our 1 INCH of snow? Gahhh Struthers -completely- forgot what a snow plow is I guess... they sure havn't done a whole lot. First one went by at maybeeee 5am?

I am getting photoshop after Christmas, so soon enough. Bad part is is I am already going crazy with hockey pics of this year >,< I need to stop. (And a tablet... so more drawings?)

I think I'm sick... lately I've been feeling really artsy. O,o shocker. It sadly started with **takes a deep sigh with disbelief** I wanted to decorate a cake **cringes at the truth of saying it** Hah... so I guess I can't wait till Christmas so I can do that (Yay Christmas-y fun fetti cake!) I still can't believe that it is killing me how much I want to do it (until I smell butter cream probably) so I must go find my tips and such.

Then last night it hit me that i wanted to do a sketch. So after looking for a while I found a weird picture I want to do... but thats for another day because, like usual, I decided it looked bad and scrapped it.

I picked up my sketch book today and realized that wasn't what I truly wanted to do. So I found my watercolor sketchbook! Hehe I am having tooo much fun with it.. Its not great... at all... but I like it I'm waiting for the background to dry as I type this... one part that sucks... all the waiting to dry before moving on.


With feeling artsy I have been roaming DA to find reference pics for drawing (everyone knows how good I usually am without). I know quite a few people do not like their work used, but unless it is a page that is popular, theres usually nothing that says anything. So if by any chance someone comes across that problem with my page (unlikely but you never know...)

If anything is used as reference or stock please just credit me and send me a link when it's finished Simple stuff.

Ok well update from my last journal... the pics I should have gotten the end of June... I got today! Will be uploading them soon to the computer...

I am completely excited tomorrow I am heading to Cleveland and I get to be around horses ^_^ Plans are to ride... but it may storm so I just might have to settle for petting them **oh darn ** This is the first time I'll be riding since 2 years this November **depressed sigh** Not sure if I can take the camera or not tho... But I should be meeting a farm vet while I'm there.. so we shall see how it goes
Canfield Fair starts Wednesday! Horses galore to pet and get pictures of **more excitedness** Along with some awesome food and demo derby and all the fun that comes with it (Including pointing and laughing at our marching band cause I'm not in it this year ) So! some pics from that too ^_^ **sits here and listens to the guy across the street work on his demo car**

I start college at YSU for pre-vet Monday. Nice easy semester time wise.
I get my car whenever we can get the title switched over **hmmm... now I need a license...**

Yay Update!
I did end up riding... it was awesome ^_^ Well we first got there and we met Kaya (3 or 5yo Appaloosa x Arabian) still working on training and Bo (13?yo AQH Pony ...his size is right where he could have gone either way and his past owners did pony...) Who is very bull headed. I got up on Kaya first who was amazing (first time riding english saddle) and then I actually got to ride her bareback O_O amazing... Then they put me up on Bo who I heard many storys of him bucking and such. He was an angel! He listened perfectly and he decided to take us up to a trot a few times, but never went over that.
After riding we went around and gave Kaya and Bo their apples and carrots with Bo shaking his head up and down saying yes when asked if he wanted anything. They had a big Percheon there who was such a baby doll! Also made friends with a horse that was for sale... oh if only...
I also got to meet a jumping horse that had just recently flown back from the olympics O_O Big beautiful Hanoverian (gahhh I can't remember the name )

Of course with all this Dad didn't bring his camera **sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh**
