School starts Tuesday, technically, but I have to be there Monday for a class I'm taking. Joy. I have to be there by 7:45. *eye roll* Wow, fifteen minutes is gonna make a huge difference. I hope we have a cool teacher. We had 13 teachers replaced, so I'm kinda worried. I'm also worried about my job. Our manager is retiring (I'm gonna miss her), which means we're gonna get a new one. Breaking Dawn is out and I have yet to read it. Yay is me. My coworker and buddy Heather is gonna let me borrow hers until I can buy my own, though. She's saving my life, in a way.

Got my eas stapled to help with weight loss. I certainly don't feel any skinnier, but my appetite has decreased...most of the time. I find myself very thirtsy, however. And my right ear hurts when I wiggle it, or move my face in a certain way. :\

...Mainly because I spent all day being tired. Not physically tired, but mentally. I guess that's how I was entertained spending most of the day going through my Facebook shit, which I haven't even visisted since November. My friend told me she got an account there, which reminded me mine even existed. 256 requests, more than half of which went ignored. Grr. But I got through all of them, bored, but too lazy to do anything else.

I went to work today after about a week without. They didn't even have me work front counter like I was supposed to. I had to put four boxes of biscuits in pans and put 'em in the freezer. Then I had to clean in the back. It wouldn't have been that bad except for the old food back there. On the other hand, while I went home two hours early, I got to see ~yugokitari, who I haven't seen in over two weeks because she's been on several trips in a row. I also got to go shoppin' for cosplay supplies. I found the perfect shirt for my Duo EW cosplay. All I have to do is dye it red. It's kinda tight around the bust area, though, but I can suffer for the sake of Duo and anime. ^_^

Wandering off now because I'm sleepy and have a short attention span.

So, mom bought tickets for us to go see Phantom of the Opera (the REAL thing, official 'n' all, not some college production) and I'd completely forgot about it. So, I was pleasantly reminded yesterday and got to see it today.

It was AWESOME. They performed so well, it's hard to describe in words how good it was. I was spazzing (good spazzing, mind you) at the beginning, when they raised the chandelier and the music was filling the room so loud I felt vibrations... It was so COOL!!! FUCKING SQUEE, MAN. And the costumes! They were so detailed, so vibrant, so whoa.

Before we saw that, we went to a really good sushi restaruant for lunch. I did my best to just fill my belly, not stuff myself, but of course ruined that when we went to an Italian restaraunt around dinner time. I wasn't really hungry, so I just ordered some bread sticks, but then mom ordered a gigantic pizza. I ate about half a piece because I didn't want to be rude, and then mom's friend tells the waitress there was no basil on it, so we got a whole NEW pizza 'cause they fucked the first one up, and free dessert. I tried my hardest to eat the dessert, but I couldn't. I'm so STUFFED.

And other than the whole "I ate too much, feel like crap" thing, what really sucks is that we went to the asian market. Mother Dearest was kind enough to purchase for me (withOUT telling me to pay her back) a six pack of strawberry Ramune and Japanese candy. I have two Vanilla Yan Yan, a "Double Cream" chocolate and strawberry Yan Yan, Almond Crush Pocky, Strawberry Pocky (I like strawberries, okay?) and lemon flavored Hi-Chew. I also got blueberry Pocky, which I didn't even know they MADE, so I got two boxes...

And I'm too stuffed to even look at them. Urgh. T_T

On the other hand, I got to go to Starbucks, which made me happy. ^^ Oh, and as of today, both my friends will be back in town! W00t!

And I STILL can't change my mood. D:<

Not really. I just don't really know to write, but I wanted to post a new entry.

Ooo! Rec! Everyone drop everything and go watch Kyo Kara Maou! Right now! It's a nice little 3 season anime series, complete with insinuated shonen ai and a kinda/sorta medieval world! It's got dragons and swords and a nice plot! I started watching it about a year ago, stopped, and recently found the time to watch more, so now I'm kinda really into it. It's got pretty boys, though, so despite the battles, I'd call it a comedy/shojo series. ^^

Yuuri is flushed down a toilet, into a different world! Only to find out he's the one true king, and that the customs of that world aren't quite the same as his home. A slap means you're engaged and picking up a dropped knife means you've accepted a challenge to duel! GASP! There's more! ...bishonen! *falls over*

Yeah. my explanation sucks, but it's good, so go watch it. ^_^

~kate-strife06 picks me up after school. We go to the Chinese restaraunt and happen to find Tori and Cat there. We decide to go to Joplin, but tell my mom we're going to Bartlesville because she says I'm not allowed to go anywhere but Bville with KT (I'm not writing ~kate-strife06 over and over again, so KT). Joplin is about an hour away, and KT had never driven there, so we had to rely on Cat for directions. We got there and went to the mall, Hot Topic, Spencers, bookstore, etc. By the time we got to the bookstore, it was storming cats and dogs AND cows, so we were all, "we gotta hurry and get home, yo" (<--we dont' really talk like that). So right before we leave we gets calls from our moms tellignus the roads in hometown are flooded and there's a tornado warning like everywhere and one touched down in a city about 30 mins away from where we were! So... "Shit, let's go!" was what we were thinking. So we left, and as soon as we got outta the mall parking lot, it started raining really bad, and KT (who was driving, btw) has trouble seeing.

We get out of Joplin and keep driving down the road with REALLY poor visuality (semis kept speeding past us. made me paranoid!) and WE MISSED OUR FREAKING TURN. We got all the way to Miami before we realized, and then we had to stop for directions. The guy didn't give us very good directions, either, so we had to stop at a convinence store in the middle of NO WHERE and ask again. The people working there were the only ones there and weren't real sure, but we followed what they said and didn't get anywhere, but did almost drive into a freaking metal fence. About gave me heart attack.

We ended up driving back to the convenience store and there was about six people there, so Tori and I just walked in and I said, "Anybody in here know how to get back to Cville?" It remained quiet for a while (Tori mumbling, "going once....going twice...") before several people said they'd never heard of it, so I was like, "Okay, what about Chanute? We can get back from there!"

THANK GOD. A *really* nice lady said, "I'm going that way. You can just follow me." So we did and I could've broke down crying tears of joy at her feet, it was so awesome. I mean, the entire time, I was so stressed and worried and "fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck" kept running through my head, but yey, we made it home in one piece (though the weather still sucked balls). My mom wasn't mad, either, thank everything holy. *sighs* I was really tired when I got home ,to say the least. It was kinda fun, once we were in the safe zone, but I never wanna do that again.

Thursday:

Tori and Cat randomly appeared at my house today. Which was bad because my mom is anti-lesbian (and guess what they are? T_T) and ma knows about them and kinda really doesn't like them, but I do because Tori's one of my bestest friends (I have three. ^_^). So they hung out, Dad came home and was fine with it, then the three of us went walking around in my back yard, which is like a mini forest and stuff. We followed the creek (I call it a stream, but what ever) and even found a gas leak in a random pipe! Yes, I realize that's bad. But we still had fun. I got flashed for the first time. That was scary and let's hope it's the last, but still.

Then we walked back and sat on the porch because mom won't let lesbians (not homosexuals, just lesbians) into the house. Ma wasn't home though, but she did come home (Tori was almost hyperventilating because she *knows* mom doesn't like her), and mom just walked past them and didn't say a thing. Kinda creepy. Eventually Tori's ma came and picked them up, and I didn't get yelled at, but mom hasn't really talked to me since. I'm kinda worried.

Friday:

I go to the Indy Elementry school with ~yugokitari to teach younger kids about “Japanese culture” for some thing that I don’t know what it was called. It was a bunch of high schoolers getting together to teach certain things to elementry kids. Examples of what we taught about were dancing, jewelry making, gambling, things like that. Nothing really important, but we did it anyway. So, we each had scheduled groups of about six kids to “teach”.

It was okay, since some of the kids got into it, but some of them didn’t. Okay, not really. Omg, I was so psyched today. My L'Arc~en~Ciel album came in the mail today! *pets it* I can't wait to listen to it! It's the new album, "Kiss", and it's so pretty, and clean, and shiny! I love new CDs!

School's almost over for the year. I'm shocked. It went by so fast. Our last day is the 20th. We get out at 12:20. I've gotta remember to keep in touch with certain friends of mine. I'm bad about that. AND, Summer means D&D! We never finished our last campaign, but our DM seems to be getting back into it, so we're gonna finish it and that scythe is so MINE! MINE....! *falls over*

I wonder what we'll do with all the characters that've left...?

And I can't wait until my senior year. I don't want it to end, but I really wanna be in my new art class. It's like all free choice, and I'm really getting tired of doing the same projects a bunch of times. I mean, I *hate* mandalas now. *shudder*

Anywho, I got two raises at work in the last two weeks. Everybody cheer for $6.50 an hour. KFC should give me more than that for what I put up with... But I'm supposedly getting another raise in June/July. I hope so. XD

I walked outside a moment ago, wondering, "what's that noise?" and two of my friends were in the driveway of the empty house next door. I was really happy, because I happen to HEART Tori & Cat to death (mainly Tori, because I don't know Cat that well) and never get to see them outside of school. We talked for a while and then they had to leave. I was kinda sad, but still, really, really happy. Yey!

Which reminds me, I have a picture of Tori I drew. I wanna upload it, but I have to wait for ~kate-strife06 to email it to me.

Okay, so maybe not, but I did just watch half of that movie. My Grandma loves it, so I figured I'd spend some quality time with her. We spent more time feeding the chickens, killing copperhead snakes, and baking cookies. Gotta love Grandma's.

Of course, I have the weird one. Over 90 years old and still running a farm. She dug her own cellar about a year ago, and still have time and energy to tell me to get my hair outta my eyes. She rocks so hard. XD

I finally uploaded stuff. Some of those sketches. Some drawings. Duo Maxwell. *giggle* But now I have to go, because Mom says "bedtime is at ten, and I don't care that it's too early for you. You may be 17, but you live under my roof and my rules". Ick.

But, yeah. I've been incredibly artistic as of late. I dunno why. I'm kinda struggling with picking up a definate art style. It seems to keep changing on me. Mostly the half-assed sketches. I have some that turned out awesome, too, so I'm gonna ink them and post them, but I think I already talked about that in my last post. *shrug* Why does the pictures I care about the least always come out the best? Do I just try too hard? :/

On the good end of life, I've had my nose stuck in books and fanfics. Great way to escape reality. Unfortunately, the series I'm reading has come to an end until the next book comes out. *Sigh* And I can't seem to get into the Dragonlance series, so I'm doubly disappointed.

Contemplating buying Paramore's Riot! album. Need money. Also need to work on cosplay for March. Crap.

Cats: Are officially evil. Gimli tried to jump up on my lap today, and in failing to do so, dug his claws into me to keep himself from falling. My big toe is gushing blood right now. T_T

Emo: Cute. I'm in an emo-loving mood right now. I stole my mother's liquid eyeliner (let's hope she doesn't find out) and tried to apply it to myself. Emo people make it seem easier than it really is. ...So I ended up using up like half the bottle and still not getting it right. ~theworldsuicidepoem is coming over tonight. So, in art today, my teacher told me to make a black hole to get rid the students at the table next to mine. They were being bad. XD I couldn't, but we did decide I had one at home that I couldn't control. That's where all my socks went. I don't have very many socks. Okay, so I recently ordered Gundam Wing Complete Collection II from amazon. I got Gundam SEED Destiny volume 7. T__T So, I sent them an email explaining the situation. They don't actually have what I ordered, but...

Guess what? I get to keep what I got and I'll get a full refund! Yey! *dances* I love Gundam Wing, of course, and will still be buying myself what I'd initially ordered. But, still. I totally jus got something I was gonna buy anyway for free. Of course, I refuse to watch it until I get Gundam SEED Destiny volumes 5 and 6. I only have up to 4 and I'm gonna need to know what happens. XD

Anyway, he's a big cat--all grey save for a few white bits. He's got long hair, which makes him look twice as large. ~theworldsuicidepoem says he's one o' the biggest cats she's ever seen. He usually keeps to himself, ignoring everyone else 'cept one o' our other cats, Gimli.

Right now, he's curled up next to my elbow. Last night, he was on my lap (of his own free will!) begging for attention.

I send this out as a warning to everyone. The apocolypse is on it's way.
