Anyways, as a result, I've been forced to sell off my equipment, so if anybody is interested in what I have, send me a message.

I have a Sony A100 body with a couple lenses, couple flashes, multiple bags, UV/Haze filters, a Circ. Polarizer, and a few other gadgets.

In the meantime, I will have to settle with my point and shoot, and maybe I'll post up some of my music.

If anybody is selling a Nikon D300, I might be interested.... I don't have enough cash-flow to support my habits or my taste, but I think I'll take a deal when I can.

I hope this is the last time I have to do anything with new website design, goodness gracious.

My site ([link]) is going through some major changes.

The current one (All HTML, White, self-made 100%) is on the way out.

I'm currently in the process of building a new one, with the help of a handy-dandy template I found (used with permission)

It lacks in mostly everything but the general layout.

I have most of the links working, and pages built for everything that needs one.

The exception is in each of the galleries, all thumbnail links past #2 go to a general template page.

#1 and #2 (in all galleries) go to a test page.

I apologize for the lack of content, but right now I'm just testing format and layout, etc.

Input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Fuck wars, we were given our freedom! hahah.

Anyways, in classic Canadian tradition, I went down to the fireworks, drank some beers, chilled with my buddies and took some pictures.

As per usual, it was great. I love doing Fireworks.

Also caught a few shots of Downtown Vancouver across the inlet, some of which turned out nicely.

I'm busy for a few days, stupid work, but I should hope to get them up shortly.

I'll try not to wait 3 months before I have the time to do something about them.

Annndd, you guys are friggin busy.. shit, last time I was on was a little over a month ago, and I came back to close to 300 Deviants.

Normally I'd look through them all, but I assume they were all good, and hopefully I didn't have to comment on them.

My current website (www.dgproductions.ca) is going to focus more on the music side of my business, and make reference to my new website for the photography side.

I'm just building it now, and the hosting isn't all 100% yet, so I gotta wait for a bit before uploading all the files... but methinks I'm gonna have to update about a million links when I do, weeeeee.

anyways, the website is [link]. I chose this name because I follow the norse religion, and I tend to name a lot of my things after various gods/goddesses.

Baldr was the god of Beauty and Light, among other things, which is why I thought his name suited a photography business well.

Anyways. The site should be up and running in a few days... hopefully sooner than later. But, alas, I am going back home for a week or so, and I'm still contemplating bringing my macbook pro or not.... if I do, I can continue to work... if I don't, my parents will not find out I own it. The tossup is difficult, I do must say.

Turns out I didn't get all the pictures I expected I would....

I've decided carrying around a heavy backpack with a laptop in it and a big-ass case with my camera is too much to haul around all the time, so I havn't had my camera for some neato-shots.

So.... I should learn my lesson and buck up.

But, springtime is nearly upon us, and I hear it's very pretty 'round my parts.

We'll see... we'll see.

Lots of creepy birds around, might make some interesting pictures.

Been having a lot of.. er.. unpacking, since I got here... a bunch of things are still in boxes.. Including my cameras charger... so hopefully I find that soon, hahaha.

I live on a nice quiet street close to transit, so I'm happy about that.

Other than that, nothing is new. So, now that I'm back with my PC, I should get some older shoots up. Did an outdoor model shoot with a friend of mine a little while ago, so I'll get those up too.

So.... I didn't do it, obviously, 'cause otherwise there'd be some pictures up.

Well, I'm currently right in the middle of a move to Vancouver, BC, so I won't have any "brand" new deviations to post. I've been going over some older pictures I have, and doing some edits and posting them.

I'm just on the hunt for a model willing to do it for TFP/TFCD

Will be a horror/macabre genre, some tasteful nudity (if the model is willing)

lots of blood (fake), large knives/swords, fleshwounds, all the fun stuff.

so, if you're in my area, or are willing to travel to will-be-said area (calgary, AB, CAN) I'll be shooting in feb.

Looking for a Male and Female model, or two female models.

Body mods are OK, and if really cool, all the more better.

As usual, I tend to go into a lullll when I can't find any new pics to post and what-not.

Finally found a model who was serious enough to get infront of my lens, she did a dandy job.

Playing around with post-processing the human flesh, and some digital makeovers and stuff. Latest few deviants are the result.

She's a pretty lady to begin, and I'm a naturalist, so I keep my manipulation simple.

Anyways. I added a new flash, a Sony HVL57 somethingorother, and it works quite well, wireless, auto zoom and focus and stuff (flash element moves with the zoom to provide better lighting and stuff. Dont ask me how it works... I just know it's nifty)

Picked up a sigma 70-300 zoom lens, which is what I used for the photoshoot, quite nice. very noisy, and slow at AF.

Just recently (today) bought a split-focus screen for it off ebay, hopefully it shows up soon, and I can install it and be all the more dandy with manual focus. I'm still figuring out what this camera can do. I havn't played with too many of the more advanced settings, but will soon.

Almost a year later, I post in my journal. How assy.

Well, I said I was gonna buy a Canon digi-rebel, but my parents never gave me the money, and now I'm 19, and lacking huge funds.

recently bought a decent point-and-shoot, a Sony DSCW50(black). Small and light, good to carry around with me wherever I go.

But, Sony just released it's digi SLR, after buying Konica Minolta out.

So, pretty much its K M mounts and hardware, with sony's software and processing components... I think it's a pretty good camera.

with at-sensor stabilization, as well as it's compatible with hundreds of lenses made for the A mount Konica Minolta system...

Hrrrmmmm, but alas, no money.

I'd still like a prints account, but I dunno, I don't have enough material just yet, I doubt it would be worth my money.

Lemme know if you'd be interested.

Shit, that was long ago

It's been a very long time since I've posted on my Journal, or posted a photo.

I have a few reasons

a) no time
b) no equipment
c) no money

thats about it.

I've recently gone to Germany, and I shall get around to editing some pics to a good size and adding borders.

Small color touchups, etc.

Prepping them for the public.

But, my computer is a slow peice of ass that can hardly run Windows, let alone PS 7 or CS2..

So, I think my art will have to stay on hold for a long time.

Sigh.

I'm buying myself a Canon Digital Rebal within the next three months, as my parents are giving 600 to me for my 18th and my grad gift.

It shall be very nice. I'm thinking of getting the Digi rebel XT (new version this year, 8 MP, instead of 6.2. I dunno if the extra 300 is worth it)

What're your thoughts? It's either 1.8 more MP, or a new lens. Jee... dang.

6.2 is alot of MP.... but 8.. that'd be very sweet, so I can blow up my own pictures/take out a small bit for posting/editiing.
