I have a lot of stuff to do, but I think I might actually have everything sorted out for the time being.

I'm up-to-date with my senior exhibition and homework, and I don't think I have too much stuff piled up..

- Draw 2 sketches for Gaia people
- Do 1 commission on Gaia
- Line a picture for Spotqueen

- Do Gaia auction commission after the 29th, as well as auction freebies

Why the shit have I been so active on Gaia lately? 0_o I don't even use it for anything but buying stuff to dress up my avatar.. I guess I just like dress up games. Huh.

Solitude/Holocaust News
I will work on Holocaust and Solitude again in November, once all these commissions and other pictures get drawn. I could use some inspiration though, I just haven't been up to drawing comics. ;3; I'm sorry, I'm so lame.
Actually, I've been neglecting a lot of my stories.. I think I've just been too preoccupied with school and all that. It makes me kind of sad.

And now my school went and lost my high school exit exam scores (which, yanno, were nice and high for once), so if I don't find the letter I was mailed like, 2 years ago with the scores, I'm screwed.

Mom and her.. toy guy invited me to spend the day with them, since they were gonna take my dog around. From what they said, I thought we were going to the beach, and I wanted to go to the beach. Instead, we just went to all these other random parks, which were nice, but the whole time I felt like he was trying to buy my love.. I mean, bragging about stuff he's done, buying me food.. inviting me in the first place was the shocker.

Then when we got home, after a little while, I pretty much had to go with him to Albertson's. Alone. I was afraid he was gonna murder me or something. I just get those vibes that if I don't act nice to him, he's going to do something horrible to me. I keep getting all these signs about impending doom with him as well.. I mean, I watched a show where these two people were murdered, boyfriend and girlfriend, and BOTH had the same names as my mom and him. Then there's that movie, The Stepfather, and that guy shares his name too! And aside from the stupid shit like that, I just generally get 'stay away' feelings.

But anyway, back on subject, he told me that since his son is quitting his job at Ralph's next month to join the air force, that he wants to help me get a job there if I want it, since apparently he's "close with the manager". I don't want to accept help from him, I don't trust him, but really.. we're about to lose the house, and the government decided "oh hell, let's cancel the money they're getting for mom taking care of her handicapped son", so.. shit, I'm just screwed.

I'm sorry for the emo. ;; I need to get my wisdom teeth removed and they hurt all the time, I keep getting headaches, I have so much work to do at school, we're broke and are about to lose our income.. I'm so stressed out. Agh...

Oh, and I'm sorry I haven't been updating Holocaust or Solitude. I haven't had the will to, and I just have way too much shit going on right now..

Well, I joined forever ago on an account I can't find because people at Voice Acting Alliance had accounts. I barely used it. Eventually, I made some randon account, then made this account, and after not using it for a long time, finally used it.

Alright, so my family TRIES to have a little meeting weekly (usually doesn't happen). The rules of this meeting are to express any good things that happened, or anything that's been bugging you. We each take turns and aren't supposed to interrupt or take calls or text or any of that shit until it's over.

So mom talks, Brian talks, then Aaron talk. It's my turn.

I tell mom yet again that I want to spend time with her, but she locks herself in her room with her sex/pot partner all day (he spent about 9 days in a row, all day, here with her, and that just stopped about 2 or 3 days ago, so he came over shorter periods of time after that). Then mom says I don't spend time with her anyways, and she goes off on how I don't pull my weight anyway. She says I don't do all my homework or go to school when I'm supposed to, and for the last few weeks I've changed that and HAVE gone and done all my work, and when I try to defend myself, guess who calls?

Her 'boyfriend'. Need I remind you, this douchebag is MARRIED, has 3 kids (one is handicapped and the other is fourteen!), and smokes pot with mom all the time.. which makes me physically ill, as they smoke IN THE HOUSE. The walls are THIN! I can hear them having sex all the way downstairs.

Anyway, he calls, and in the middle of my sentence, she answers and walks away.

Then, when she comes back, she doesn't apologize for it, so I just know to fucking quit trying to change things, and I tell her I'm done. She always just turns all my problems with her back onto me. I can't fucking tell her how I feel, cuz it's always my fault, and I'm supposed to just deal with it no matter what, and it's just NOT POSSIBLE that my life has been a living hell.

So after I sit in my room, holding tears back (I managed not to cry. Haha.), I decide to go talk to her again. I tried to calmly tell her why I feel the way I do (and she finally apologizes for interrupting me), she slowly goes from talking normally to yelling. I keep trying to tell her to stop yelling and talk to me calmly. She basically told me that no matter what she does, I bitch about it. She said I bitched about it when he used to come over less, and I told her that I didn't know then how bad it would be later, and I'd prefer that, and she keeps giving me that "PSH" shit.

I try to tell her that we should compromise (another "PSH"), and then she goes off and tells me to worry about "my own" problems. Then she pulls the 'deal with it, he's in my life, he makes ME happy' shit, and then says she's done talking to me, cuz she's 'about to start her period and it makes her bitchier'.

Why am I in the wrong here? She's fucking a married man and smoking pot all the time, and she still hasn't gotten a job. Why doesn't she ever just listen to me? What she does affects me, for god's sake. She's my only parent!

Excuse me for wanting to be with my mother.

I know things are hard for her, but what the fuck, they're not easy for me.

Story: Holocaust
SECTION A: You
1. Where did your characters come from/How did they come to you (list in order of CREATION, not appearance, if remembered)?
They kinda all came at the same time.. I dunno.

2. What was/is your writing process like?
Well, for Holocaust, Icy and I wrote it pretty quickly and then it just kinda got developed more later on.

3. Where/How/When did you get the idea for your story?
We were trying to make a roleplay plot and just somehow got one about concentration camps and magic users.

4. What events are based off of you/your life?
None are based off of MY life, but the idea of a holocaust is based off of.. well.. the holocaust.

5. How much of your characters are based off of you?
I didn't really base any of the characters in this off of me. Enrique's a pessimistic fighter, Jesse's an optimistic lurver, Rita's a neutral dahctah.. They're all kind of just made to be themselves.

6. When did you know you wanted to go through with this story?
I know whether or not I want to do it after it's been plotted/written/thought of.

7. What do you love best about it?
It's bloody, mixes old stuff with new stuff, and generally looks like it's going to be a whole lot of fun to script and draw. <3 I really think you guys will like it, even if you don't like Solitude (it's much more developed and far less comedic than Solitude).

8. What do you dislike most about it (that you may or may not be trying to fix)?
Not too much. It's sad that one of the character's dies VERY quickly, but they have to in order to get Enrique going. The thing that bugs me is that I have no idea what the main villain should look like.. or the doctor (who comes up in chapter one, FML).

9. What is the most difficult part about the story?
Hmm.. Enrique's hard to draw, but so fun at the same time.. it's actually a fairly decent story to work with, imo. I think it's paced in a nice way, and there's a lot of fun stuff to draw to look forward to.

10. Were you suprised by ANY popularity or success your story has gained?
I've barely got any pages up, but people seem to like it already, so yay. BD

The Days Before Anime Expo

FRIDAY
- Went on a nice, long car ride to Icy's.
- Went to

SATURDAY
- Heard we were going to a book signing I wanted to go to.
- Ended up not being able to leave until too late.. A glimmer of hope appeared when I heard we were going to an amusement park.
- It was really hot (about 100 degrees F), and we were stuck there for 6 hours. The rides were pretty decent though.. but I lost one of my earrings. ;;
- We were really tired and sweaty after..

SUNDAY
- I woke up feeling really dizzy.. I ended up getting the dreaded period.

- Melika came over and joy was had.
- We made a cake with a drawing on it.. it came out a bit sloppy. hurhur

MONDAY
- We ate chemical-flavored bread. Well, mine was chemical-flavored..
- Icy didn't feel good, so we lazed around all day.
- Icy had to go babysit, and I wasn't allowed to go, so I sat around for 5 hours in her house, bored. I talked on the phone twice, watched Treasure Planet, drew, and read manga that probably wasn't that great.

TUESDAY
- We sat around for a bit..
- Then went places in a hot car for no reason.
- We sat around again..
- Then we went to Jane's. Her dog liked to bite us.

WEDNESDAY
- We sat around for most of the day.
- Melika said bye to us over the phone, because she had to go to Taiwan for the next two weeks for a funeral.
- We shopped around for Icy's costume stuff. We finally got it all together.

Anime Expo

DAY 1
- We got there late (3 PM or so). The registration area was really hard to find for some reason.

- We shopped around. I got Higurashi figures.
- We browsed around some more~
- At about 6:30, we went to stand in line for the TTGL movie.
- Suigintou was busy.
- We watched the TTGL movie until 9:30 or so, and then went home.
(notes: we met a friend from last year for a bit, and also got commissions!)

DAY 2
- Jane was going today, so her mom took us. Her mother is a crazy driver.. crazy..
- We shopped around.
- We bought expensive french fries and Jane kept trying to find her friend. When they found each other, they pretty much just said hi and then left each other.
- Jane and I met some random Japanese guy who told us we were beautiful ~~gardens~~ goddesses.
- We went to a stupid copic coloring "tutorial", made fun of it and ruined others' time, & were told to go color in the mountains. I also got into a mini-across-the-room-fight with Twitards.
- We shopped s'more.

- We sat downstairs with Eddie & co for a while, playing cards and hanging out, until going home.
(note: I got a Death the Kid figure. hurhur don't laught at me, I'm Peter Parker)

DAY 3
- We drove around for a while before getting there.
- We browsed for a while.
- We went to the AMV contest rescreening. Stupid Dead Fantasy..
- We sat arounfd for a while. Not much really happened this day. 0_o
- We saw fireworks from a hill.

DAY 4
- We went out to breakfast and got funny ideas for cosplay next year.
- We went & got there at around 2. The exhibit hall closed at 3.

- We screwed around for a while until we could be picked up. I played on the escalators for 30 minutes or so and met a guy who thought I was hyper and awesome and so I named him Gus.

And after all that, we just screwed around, swam, visited friends, and so on. xD I kept having to put off the date I was going home due to various factors, but whatevs holmes.

She already has the patches, and I told her that if she does that, I'll quit doing something unhealthy too, like eating tons of junk food, and that I'll do my homework more. We'll see how this goes. It's a start.

I don't know what to do. I keep crying now. My mom's being such a.. I don't know.. she won't stop smoking regular cigarrettes OR pot, and her stupid fucking cheating boyfriend doesn't help at all. I hate him.

I went and told my mom RIGHT before she went into her room with that fucking man NOT to smoke pot, at the very LEAST not today. What does she do? She goes in and smokes pot with that idiot.

She came out of her room and they both went downstairs because he was getting ready to leave, and I could smell that nauseating shit through her closed door, like I always can. So, I went downstairs and asked her "What did I JUST tell you not to do?" and told her about how she was smoking. All she says is "Sorry Charlie" like it's no big deal. All the while, that man is just treating this like some family drama on TV with his amused little "ooh's" and "I didn't know about that" bullshit.

I then kind of shouted a little about how selfish she's being, and asked her how she'd feel if me or my brother were doing pot. She just said "I'd feel bad too, but.." I can tell she meant "but whatever". She also shrugged off everything I was saying, stating that she's going to basically do what she wants, when she wants. Then, when I said she shouldn't be doing anything at all, she just said my name with such an annoyance that I just walked away.

Then my friend called me back, and I went up to my room and idiotically started crying and making her feel bad. I hung up for a bit, and told my brother some confusing mumbles about what I said to mom. We both went down and kind of had a stare fest with her, and she just said "well, I love you" and went upstairs. Then my brother had me tell him what happened because what I said before sounded like word vomit, and then we went upstairs, where she was tucking my other brother in. We talked to her a bit more in there, and I said that it hurts us to see her doing this, and she just asked "how does it hurt you?" We told her that she's not being herself when she does it, that we don't want to lose another parent, and some other shit. She basically just didn't say anything to that.

Then, when I said that I don't think she really cares, she said she did. If she REALLY cared, no matter how hard things are for her, she wouldn't be doing this and making things harder on us, to the point where we tell her multiple times how we feel and what's wrong, and the fact that I just went CRYING and yelling at her in front of that bastard.. I don't know.. I don't know if that even made sense.

I dunno what to do. She doesn't want to stop anything. I understand she's going through a hard time, but seriously.. this is just too much.

Okay, let's see...

1) I spend a lot of my time roleplaying. There. I said it. I'm a super nerd. xD
2) When I was a kid, my doctor told me my spine was slightly crooked. It might still be, I really don't know.
3) My hair is naturally straight and dark brown. The sun highlights it REALLY easily, so it looks a lot lighter than it should be.. but I like it. c:
4) My first anime (of the really chopped/dubbed sort) were Cardcaptors, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and Digimon. My first non-edited (besides being.. dubbed..?) anime was InuYasha. I don't care much for it now.
5) I secretly always wanted to be a Digimon Tamer or a Pokemon master, or especially a magical girl (like Cardcaptor Sakura in particular). xD
6) I hate Twilight with a bloody passion.
7) My favorite classes out of everything I've taken so far are biology, 9th grade English (I liked the Greek mythology), and peer tutoring (helping the handicapped students).

- Faster updates with less quality. They'd still be in color, just sketchy. I sketch semi-cleanly.. at least on paper. Probably not so much on the tablet, but this is a digital comic, so whatever.

- Continue at the same pace, with the same (Iwishitwasgood) quality.

Also, I'm planning on starting up another comic called Holocaust soon as well. I'll be doing that one traditionally on paper in black and white with either digital screentones or pencil shading. Just uh.. wanted to let you know..

I want to make a Solitude art book (and publish it with Lulu.com).. but I don't know if anyone would actually but it. Lulu only prints when something's ordered though, so it wouldn't be a big risk or anything.. I just don't know if I'd be wasting time and effort. o3o

Harvard Med. I'm both a professor AND a student. I have to fly by plane everyday back to America just to get there.

They said I was all fine except my iron count in my blood was looow. So they gave me a prescription for iron pill things. I think I hafta take them for two months.

They had to draw blood from my fingers too. :/ She got some from my index finger, and then came back a bit later when it said my iron was low. She tried to get more, but my blood clots too fast, so she took it from the middle finger. Fun fun. Then I got three shots (hpv, chicken pox, and.. I think hepatitis b or c). One of them hurt a lot, but I have a high pain tolerence, so I just ignored it.

We left and I got all tired suddenly. But I feel better now that I ate POPEYE'S CHICKEN~!

In other news, the next Solitude page is almost done. I'm sorry I've taken so long with it.
